Lauren, we are planning on getting one of those bikes for Olivia very soon. I test sat her on one the other week and she looks a bit shorter on it than Ash does :-) If you don't mind me asking how much is your mum paying for the bike? I am looking for a deal on one ;-)

Plus we can courier it for $7!! or we can catch up for coffee and im happy to bring it. - Someone is selling them on ebay for $179.95, i dont know who tho.

    Bek I added you

Lauren: Olivia was fine.. I don't know what she was doing though.. it was 1:30 in the morning lol.. but tonight I will make sure the side is up.. She is the first to fall out which isn't bad going seeing as I have 4

I feel so bad with Olivia.. None of the boys have fallen off the bed or out of the cot as often as Livi.. She seems to always have little spills

Well she is now asleep so seeing as my arm is falling asleep I better put her to bed.

I'm a perth girl but ten should be fine as at least Molly should be asleep.

Well what a busy busy busy day. Too tired to post it all but in brief.

I had a job int at 10am (this invoved getting myself and both girls all up, fed, dressed and out the door by 8am to have them at MIL's so i could go)- I got the job and have Orientation Monday evening.

I went out for lunch with my sisters

We had a 1st birthday party to attend at 2pm (by now kids well and truly tired and grumpy)

Came home bathed, fed and got both girls to bed. DH came home at 7.30pm ate tea and had to go to another Job as he is really busy at the moment.

Molly has been unwell all day with a temp of 39+ even with Panadol and Nurofen. SHe has slept so much and when she has been awake she has cried so much and its a pain cry iykwim. Poor baby i hope she is better for her big day If she is still the same tonight/2mo i will take her to Drs as i cant see anything wrong (apart from the temp) but her cry tells me something is iykwim.

I'm too lazy for personals today sorry I'm off to make a cuppa and then hit the sack

hmm.. we bought a trike for Tallon ages ago that we can steer. Looks similar.. but different. Got it from toys r us. So.. not the only one! hehe.

I wanna get Tallon the glide to ride bike. Looks way better than using a trike. And it skips the training wheels stage.

ETA: MoM - our trike has attachments that convert the seat to a seat that's better for littlies. Has a little sunshade thing for them too. I should look up what brand it is.

ETA(2): Ok.. ours is the Smart Trike. It has 3 different stages - with baby seat, then just trike with the parents handle, and then just a normal trike. (found it in the current toysrus catalogue. There's another one there that you can steer too.

morning all.. Well as usual the night before simon starts work Olivia sleeps like crap.. I am so over it you have no idea.. yet again I am sitting here with semi closed eyes..

She woke at 9. 10, 11:30 I brought her into bed with me. 3 she wakes for the day.. I don't freakin think so my sweet.. at 4 I got fed up so I put her in her cot and let her scream and scfeam. Simnon got up and went and slept on the couch I joined him but she was so loud. We finally fell asleep just before 5. I have no idea if simon got up in time or not but he was gone to work when I got up I didn't get to say good bye..

i am thinking I will wait till after her birthday and then its get tough time.. We will simply sleep in the lounge for a few nights and once she goes to bed not go back into her room till morning.. I have to do something.. How do you others cope? What do you do the following day after a bad night?

Liz - The eurotrike has been out for a very long time with the parent steering, The ultima you can twist the handle and and make it turn left or right which is the first in the series to do that. - I dont know which one ur refering to, but im sure companies will catch on very quickly and sell them anyway. i dont know wat other states have them if they do already.

Nic - poor thing. thats way too early to start the day hope u get a good day to make up for it ??

Yep ours steers by twisting the handle. I've seen them around. They were the only ones we were interested in. We didn't want one that we couldnt' steer coz it's too hard otherwise. I was pregnant at the time and didn't want to have to try and push a trike around without steering hehe.

    Hi all,
Nic- I had a night like that too. Ty was bouncing off the walls at 4am *sigh*. I'm thinking it might be time to get tough too- but every time I try, I end up walking into Ty's room and see him sitting there in his cot, arms up, going 'mamamama'. Makes it hard! Poor little bugger- I can see that he doens't really want to be awake, he crys and rubs his eyes, he's so tired, b ut can't get himslef back to sleep *sigh again*.

Trikes sound pretty cool but I'm with MoM- Ty just seems to tiny to be strapped into a bike!! We do have a red Radio Flyer wagon (you know the old school steel low ones with the long handle) that has a seat and a harness built in, so he might get that for Chrissie.

Not much to report here- shocking night, swimming lessons today. Ty has been letting go of things and standing by himself. Thought my house was baby proof-ha!! Not now he's standing. Keeps getting into all the ornamental stuff- might be time to fling it, FlyLady style

Nic - Hugs sweets. What I do is probably not popular but if Loren wakes during the night I just go into her room, don't say word and put her back down. If she screams I wait for a bit go back in and put her down. I then will pat her butt a bit until she settles and then I walk out. Some times if I know she has missed a feed or hasn't eaten much I will give her a feed and change her nappy. Loren has been really hard to put down during the day. She screams and chucks a tanty. I just do exactly what I do at night. Just keep putting her down and walk out.

I am soooo tired today as many of you are as well. I have been feeling sick all day and it was hot too. On top of that, Monique is teething and has been impossible to put down. Well, she goes down for her night sleep at 7pm but then wakes at 8pm and is then impossible to put down. Luckily panadol helped us tonight but she wakes up and then stands in her cot and screams because she can't get back down

Nic, I know exactly how you feel getting up all through the night but Monique doesn't think it is up time that early in the morning (well rarely anyway). I am up so many times I am on auto pilot now and don't remember. I really need to rethink what we are doing here with sleeping and Bek, I like your style. I might try that although it gets so frustrating when she rolls straight over and sits or stands up then I lie her back down but rolls over again - you get the picture. She likes to be cuddled and hold our hand when she is nodding off but I get so sore from holding her.

I am nearly nodding off and forgetting everything so will catch up with you all later on.
