Nic - whatever works!!! Do the same as you with the shopping centre amuzmements:wink:

Miss Sara has dropped day sleeps but she still has quiet time between 1pm and 2pm. She goes to her bed and plays generally. I set the alarm clock and she comes out when it goes off. This has stopped her yelling out and asking if it is time to come out.

Loren hasn't chucked any real tanties yet but Sara has had few very memorable ones in public. Last month we had 3 or 4 bath time tanties...of course they all happened with Rob was in India.

I am so tired I am almost falling asleep typing..

bekz - are u going to find out the sex!! bet hubbys egar for a boy lol

Nic - thats a good idea, when ash is older and understands ill use that one.
I dont put money in either. the wiggles has 3 seats on it so there usually some other kid that jumps on too and puts money in... lol - ash is happy with the buttons anyways.
If i give Ash something he doesnt want he pushes it away and turns his head in a little snobby sort of way like, "now why would I want that!"

Well swimming really did Ashie good, been asleep for 2hours 20mins.. and counting.. woot!

Yay Bek! Exciting! We are hoping for a boy this time around as it will be our last but two girls would be nice as well.

Serenity Now! Monique has been awake since 7.30pm (went to bed at 7pm) and has been a nightmare!!!! DH is babysitting his nieces so its just me and her and I'm going insane. I kept putting her on her back, patted her off to sleep and then she would roll over and stand up - driving me bananas. I now have her on the bed with me and she was ok for a while but is now crying again. She has really rosy cheeks and I gave her a dose of panadol as I'm sure her little teeth are hurting but why won't she sleep!? She has screamed the neighbourhood down and doesn't want to be cuddled. She dropped off to sleep at 11pm last night so I'm guessing we will have a repeat tonight.

    Best go. BBL

    Happy 1st Birthday Molly

Monique finally went to sleep about 10.20pm in my bed and she woke up at 3am and 6.45am for milk and had the best sleep she's had in months. I didn't get a very good sleep though. I was dreaming about the birth and anticipating Monique waking up

Hope everyone else had a good night.

    Hi all,
Sorry Bek I must have posted at the same time as you yesterday.... Woot!!! How very exciting for you I'm suprising myself- I'm a little jealous of you pregnant girls. Maybe it's time to start TTC#2 here too...

And a big Happy Birthday Molly!!!

Not much happening here again. Ty being a feral. Screaming at every sleep time :sigh: And was up 5 times last- I think dh and his snoring/coughing/alarm going off was the problem.

Liz- I'm with Nic, I wish I had your patience. I used to be the most absolutley patient person with other people's kids- I feel terrible because I'm not that patient with my own.

Off for coffee with my MG. Oh and I have finally brown paper wrapped my present, will post it today

Oh, I'm not that patient trust me. In fact I'm super-cranky mum today. Kayla was up crying last night, so I'm on a short fuse today. Feel bad, coz the kids are just copping it Tempting to just plonk Tallon down in front movies today, but I know he gets all cranky himself if he veges in front of the tv too long. I've separated the kids coz I'm sick of him not letting her play with stuff. Ugh. So he's out playing near the front door and she's out the back.

Oh and could I get Kayla down for her sleep this morning? NO. That's made me cranky too. LOL. Argh - seriously reconsidering talking DH into #3 today! *sigh*

ETA: oh and congrats to the preggy ladies! How exciting! And yay for all our little 1 yr olds! wooo!

Tinsel - Thats great u got a good sleep, your gonna wanna hope monique gets the hang on sleeping for #2!

Lori - Its hard not to feel maternal when everyone around u is having bubs. I feel like bannging my head against a wall, cos i dont have a partner to have #2 as much as i would love one. But i know the wait will make it extra special when it does happen!!

Liz - Hope the kiddies start to behave for you today!! how stressful!

Just wondering those who take there bubbas swimming, when they first start is it normal for them to like it or does some bubs hate water??
Ash absolutely loved the pool and kept wanting to do it on his own and was extremely confident, and when i held under is tummy in the breaststroke position he was scaling with his arms like he had done it a million times and kept his head high up and didnt fall under once... I dont know if all babies are like this or ash has just really taken to the pool and i should really get him into it. I want to start going a couple times a week and start him lessons next for term 1 in Jan.

Have a good one everyone..... damn hot here today!!

well for a change I had a semi decent night.. I don't know if it was the panadol at 6:30 or the cereal at 8:30 or the fact she slept in a seperate room to me.. she woke once at 2am and went right back to sleep with me in my bed.. I am happy with that kind of sleep..

Liz: hope the day gets better for you.. I for once am happy with my kids.. but Dh is also home (night shift tonight) I find day shifts is when I get grumpy..

Lori: Is Ty in your room? This is one of the reasons I moved olivia out yesterday. I don't know if we were somehow waking her or not

now a question for you all.. for day sleeps is bubs room darkened or light.. Olivia was sleeping in our room and it is darkened for simons night shift sleeps. He wants to try making her sleep in a well lit room for day time and see if that makes a difference...

Lauren - bubs seem to take differently to swimming. I used to worry that Tallon wouldnt' kick and paddle when we first started. But now he's the one doing the biggest and most sustained kicks.. he automatically kicks and paddles, don't have to ask him anymore hehe. He's never hated swimming, but he was his usual passive self, neither hating it or loving it. Now he loves it But yeah, some babies scream the whole time, others love it.

Nic - I do shut the blinds for day sleeps, I do it for Tallon too.. but the room isn't totally dark.

I have both of them in bed at the moment, going to chill for a while and try and calm myslef down LOL. I just feel stressed today. Maybe its the full moon hehehe. Cuppa tea & a biscuit sounds like a plan

Selfish bit here but so excited I have to share - We had aircon installed yesterday (finished this morning) so the fact that today is hot is great coz we get to test it out! Ok now I feel silly but it is exciting after suffering through last Summer.

Nic - I usually close the blinds a bit for Olivia's day naps (not that they are happening that often anymore) but it is still half light in there. I read somewhere that it shouldn't be night-time dark for their day naps or they confuse day and night...

Lauren - We haven't taken Livi to the pool yet but she LOVES the big bath and looks like she attempts swimming. She has even put her head under a few times on her own.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY MOLLY! - Wow, this year has gone by so fast!
