:hug: nic - yes i hear u, handbag babies are just a bit tough- good word for it! Thankfully Ash just gets like that wen hes teething.
I wouldn't mind so much as it is cute and they are little for only a short time but her dad is home half the time too.. she won't even go to him especially at night.. She just screams louder.. yet she is all smiles sitting on my lap playing with daddy..
Bad night here too. Miss Livi decided she was hungry at 2am - daddy was looking after her at dinner time last night and didn't give her enough :-/ Then at 3am she decided to have more of a cry. Quiet annoyed with DH as we just had a talk yesterday about making sure she has had anough to eat before putting her to bed in the hope that gets us more regular sleep out of her, then the one night I have left it to him to feed her and put her to bed I get home and he says 'oh she didn't eat much' - grrrrrrrrrrrr

alicia - my DH is like that as well, I can always get the girls to eat more than him.
Yeah, my dh is the same too. If the food isn't going down fast enough for his short attention span, he gives up :dunno:

Well another ugh night.. Olivia woke at 11 ish and didn't go back to sleep till after 1 again.. I didn't wake again till 6 though..
Really need to pack the car and clean the house.. so not motivated.. I sold Olivias bounce and play thingy last night on ebay :( but :) its the start of removing baby things from my house.. The people are picking it up at 11..

Nic, I have so much stuff that I have to sell. I have 4 garbage bags full of Abbey's clothes. 2 are going back to a friend and the other 2 I have to sell. Going to take so long to list it all. Not sure if I should just sell them as lots. and greedbay is so expensive now.
MoM, I have asthma too and really suffered yesterday, doesn't help that I've had this damn chest infection for a month or 2 now as well. Just can't shake it.

Ohh I have a handbag baby too. Driving me mental, seriously, I have searched her mouth, there are no new teeth that I can see. Just not sure what it is. We are up between 3 and 4 times everynight! I end up putting her in bed with me but she is so restless tosses, turns upside down and has even fallen out a couple times. Think I am just getting too old for the baby business ;)

Not too bad a night here. Ty crashed hard at 5:30pm and slept through a huge thunderstorm. And he only woke twice, at 11 and 4, then up at 6. Maybe I just need to absolutley exhaust him every day :D

Nic, good to hear you had a nice night out. What is it with these babies waking at sparrows fart ? It doesn't seem to matter at all to Abbey what time she goes down, shes still up several times then first thing in the morning. In saying that though, little minx is fast asleep in bed right now.

Had a BIG birthday party today with all the mothers from playgroup had a party for all the bubs, omg we were soooo nackered after but it was lovely!! minus the 12 couples and one little single me... hmmmm got a bit teary on the way home, but thats how it goes... ahhh well.
got a nice fat headache now.. going on 2 weeks.. gonna go to Gp this week. i think something happening with me..

Lauren we had a mothers groups birthday bbq today as well. I was there on my own, as DH was competing in a car thing, and boy am I tired now! Chasing the little Miss around by myself, trying to eat and take lots of photos has totally worn me out. Olivia had cake for the first time and she was a lot more interested in spreading the icing all over her pants and hands than eating it :-) Hmm I should update my ticker with a photo of that...
Early night for me here I think. I just watched 60 mintues about the babies drowning and I cried along with the parents interviewed it was so sad.

he used to be a olympian swimmer too, The school he teaches at - keeping heads above water is in sydney but theres one near me too, dunno if he owns it, u would think so, but ash is going there next yr!

Monique has been sleeping a little better in that she is only waking around 3 times overnight. I have stopped myself from being on auto pilot and am feeding her water instead of milk which has been working well. She has a few sips, puts dummy back in and goes to sleep. She is sleeping in the bed with me but wasn't until 5am this morning which was the first. She likes to hold my hand to sleep which is so cute. It would be nice to have her sleeping through the night before #2 arrives but can't see it happening anytime soon :o Bed time for me soon.
Thanks for all the well wishes and for the comments on my photos on FB. My girls have been good today and i had a big afternoon nap whilst DH watch them as i am feeling rotten. I dont think the anti biotics are doing much and my throat is that bad i cry trying to drink water. I have just taken a couple of stonger pain killers to see if they help and now i am off to bed. I still have quite a few ppl to add to msn but will try and do it when i'm feeling better.

Good Morning Girls!! Well, I am finding less and less time to actually write any updates and seem to only find the time when I need some advice. I guess that is because it is great advice that I do get.
I was wondering what everyone is doing for their bub's birthday and christmas presents?
Also, ideas for a first birthday party? We were going to be away for my little ones b'day but will now be home so have decided to have a little party with her cousins - 7,4,3,2 (2 girls and 2 boys )and two bubs.
It will just be for a few hours on the SUnday morning before christmas which is her actually b'day.
