aww Nic - hope he is better soon, it is so hard being sick and the hot weather as well.
All is well here - still at mums, will go to Tamworth on Tuesday for inlaws. We set up the paddling pool today and kids had a fun time in it, will probably go back in it later today as it is still over 34 degrees here.

Well it appears sleep is what was needed.. Jacob slept nearly 4 hours and woke up and said I feel so much better :lol: Even simon and I managed a nap.. I stayed up waaay to late last night lol..

Just a vent here- We had the Il's round for Xmas brekkie. they were sposed to come at 7 so we could open Ty's pressies with him before they came- they showed up at 6am. Came in, took over... I didn't even get to see dh open the present that I have been paying off for him for the last 8 weeks :( Then ate and left a huge mess. And MIL didn't even bring us a card- no pressie, no card (one for Ty with $$ in it but specifically addressed to Ty, not to us). I am ok with no presents but I thought it was customary to let people know in advance if we weren't doing presents????????? I was so dissapointed by the whole thing I cried :(
Ok, I feel better after my whinge :) Not much happening here- Ty is cutting another molar on the other side. Still no sign of walking- I think that will be aaaaaages away here- and still trying very hard to :clap: but not quite managing it :)
I am absolutley buggered and can't wait to take the tree down and get some of my loungeroom back :) And damn it is hot hot hot here!!!!

I took the tree down a couple days ago. Normally we have it up till the begining of feb - pure laziness lol - but this yr i was just dying to get back to some normality.
Start work in 2 weeks.. so nervous, but VERY glad it only ended up being one day a week for a while. Im going to ring ABC now and talk to them about starting Ash's orenientation next week.

Ive been spending the last couple of nights deciding 2009 is going to be the year of NO MORE LIES!! i have typed out a letter to Robs parents with 6 pages of the last 2 years!! im posting it tomorrow so they will have it on monday!!! gees im crapping myself about there reaction, but feel great i can start the year based on honesty and moving forward. - Not that i have spoken to rob in 2 or so months!
Ohhh Lauren, hope it all goes well hun. And you know what? even if it doesn't atleast it is all out in the open, I can't believe that in all this time he still hasn't told them about Asher. They have missed out on getting to know one very special little boy too, even if he doesn't want to. Oh and if you have a stamp hun, post it now, before you second guess it ;)
Sorry I have been MIA again. Christmas was like everyones, very hectic. Then we went away for a few days up the coast to see my DP's birth father. I will call him that because he's not much of a dad. LOL. Still trying to get Tehya into a Paed, but of course they are all closed for the xmas new year break.
Went out to the beach yesterday with the kids in the afternoon, was nice, I even got in the water! Got some gorgeous photos so will upload them soon to my FB page. Had some extra excitement on the way home, drove past a guy laying flat on his back on the footpath. I made DP go around the block cos we couldn't pull over and got out, there was a guy with him by now and he was calling the ambo's. I got him to loosen his tie and undo his top buttons and put him in the recovery pos. he was very incoheriant, not a sound was coming out of him but was clearly distressed. Apparently he worked at the local shops and was a "little slow" some guys pulled over and told us that. For what seemed and eternity the ambos turned up and then I left. Hope he is ok. My poor kids were not happy in the car, they were scared and worried. But I just could not keep on driving past and pretend I didn't see him.

Ash walked today!! i was so excited i had tears in my eyes!! hes asleep atm but i cant wait till hes up and i hope he does it again so it wasnt a fluke LOL

i had a nice night last night.. Simon and SIl partner were working so SIL and I took the kids swimming at her place in the rain :lol: It was so hot here yesterday.. 38.7 and weather site said it felt like 44.. It was still 28.7 at 1am this morning
I stayed up will 1am.. I even had a couple drinkies ;) played a board game.. Watched the fireworks rang a few people :lol: thn decided I better go to bed..
up early this morning.. Went to SIL for a swim before 9.. it was already 30c at 8. Its 37 now and horrendous outside.. Thank GOd for Aircon!!
Olivia is such fun now.. She LOVEs the water.. and we got Hungry Jacks for lunch today and walked in and the kids went to play on the playground and she was cracking it a little cus she wanted to go with them :lol: She looks way to tiny to be walking but gosh she can go..Almost has a run up happening these days.. Still has the odd tumble..
oh and poor darling fell over ontp my suitcases and now has a delightful scrape on her forehead..
Anyways.. Boys and I just all had an ice cream.. Olivia asleep on the couch.. Really need to gt Ac for the bedrooms.. and now we are watching a movie :)

Nic, DP wants to take her to the childrens hosp, but tbh I think it's not really worth it. Not like there is anything they can do for her. I guess it's just him feeling helpless, although he is one to run kids to the Dr's if they fart sidewards! Thankfully for them I'm not the same.
Am hearing you on the heat. It's a stinker down here today. We went for a drive earlier, when we got back to the car and turned the air on it said the outside temp was 41! I'd believe it too.
Lauren, whats the worse that can happen hun. They don't talk to you or Ash ? they are already doing that. WooHoo for Ash taking a few steps too. Abbey finally started on either boxing day or xmas night. Can't remember which one.
Thanks for asking about Tehya girls. She is doing OK, no better, but no worse either. So I guess that's something. She's not distressed about it at all thankfully. Guess it's a good thing that she is younger. I'd be hiding inside the house. If you were to look at her just sitting there you prob wouldn't notice it. Not until she talks or goes to smile etc. Although if you are looking at her eyes you will notice. She has issues blinking, her eye rolls backwards but it doesn't really shut properly.
As I said above, Abbey has started walking a few steps here and there. Mostly crawling still though.
Annnnnnd I got THE best Christmas present from her. She finally said MUM MUM, it was on Christmas night, of course there was no one here to hear it. I was so damn excited. She is saying it more now too. Finally others have heard her and believe me now. All my other kids said mum as either their first or second word. Abbey's been dragging it out. Talk about keeping me in suspence!!

oh oh oh. soooo cute.. we brought the kids table into the lounge to eat dinner cus it was simply to hot where it was and while we were bringing the chairs in Olivia decided thats where she was eating so she sat up at the table with the boys.. just adorable.

Happy New Year...DH and I went out to dinner by ourselves!!!!! My Dad took both girls for the night. It was Loren's first night away from mummy and she was a champ. Me however could not sleep and wanted to go and get her at 6am this morning.
Too hot for words here. The heat is really getting to me and I feel sick all the time, and dizzy. I am 12wks today!!! My scan is on Tuesday, please cross your fingers for us.

Ty has an awesome fake laugh and fake cough going on at the moment :) It is very cute. Teeth coming up all over the place- at last count it was 8 and 2 halfs.
I had an awesome time yesterday... we went for a New Years day bbq at one of dh's friend's mum's houses. It is literally a 3 storey mansion, with a pool and a tennis court, built into the side of a hill with water views of Sydney Harbour :o I've never seen anything like it, felt like it was out of a movie. We were guessing it would be worth a good $5 million :jawdrop:
So that was a good start to the new year lol... Hope everyone else's new years days were good :D

Rory, great to see you back here girl. Hope all is well with your little men. I found with Tehya she was sooo much faster at everything than the other kids. Her talking, sitting up, even her crawling and walking. Abbey on the other hand seems to be a little slower on the crawling, walking, and her words. Although her talking is surely picking up. She does say quite a few "words" now. And she's the same as Olivia in that she climbs everything. We found her on the table out the back the other day. She'd climbed up on the chairs and got onto it!!
Tehya has seen a Dr but we haven't been able to get into a Paed as yet. Going to call today and see if they are open. Otherwise I will have to try again on Monday.
Susan, sorry to hear that your AC has died hun. Hope you are managing to keep your lot cool enough.
Lori, sure does sound like a nice house. Don't you wish hey. Abbey is up to 9 teeth now, she has one molar through and the other is nearly there. LOL at the fake cough Ty is doing. They sound so cute.
Had some friends over for a bbq lastnight. They never left til 11.30. Poor Abbey didn't go to bed until around 10.30. that's 2 nights in a row. Don't want this becoming a habit. I "think" DP is planning on taking Tehya and Noah away camping for the night. Not like I will get any peace though with the big boys here. Always something to fight or whinge about.

Before I forget.. teeth count here is 12. She cut all her molars without me realising.. but it sure explains some dreadful nights we had before I discovered them! Poor little chook. Dreading the eye teeth now (think it's the eye teeth left) coz aren't they meant to be the worst??
Kayla isn't much of a talker at all yet.. she points with her eyes LOL. She moves her head forward and her eyes almost pop out of her head LOL. So cute. She also points with her finger, but it's funny the way she kinda nods and pops her eyes out to tell me she's seen something. So yeah, not many words.. mum mum mum is a definite, and she was saying ffff ffff when I was trying to get her to say Sophie last night. She was watching my mouth and copying the ff sound. She does sign a few things now. She signs please, bird, & drink, and she understands other signs like book and ball, but hasn't signed them back yet. And she waves hello and goodbye of course. And blows kisses if she feels like it! hehe.
Trish - Kayla goes to bed around that time. I've given up putting her down at 7.30 with Tallon. Well, I do put her to bed, but when she wakes I get her up. Coz we've learnt the hard way that if she goes straight back to sleep at about 8.30/9.00 when she wakes, then she wakes around 2am and cannot get back to sleep. So if I get her up and wear her out some more, she only wakes for feeds after that. I can handle feeds, just not playing and crying and fussing!
Lauren - hope you posted your letter. And I hope it all turns out well for you. I hope they embrace Asher and make up for that lost time. It's a sad situation really.
Well I'm busy preparing for a kids party that I'm throwing next week. A friend and I sat up putting lolly bags together and wrapping prizes and things last night. So at least the fiddly bits are done and I only have to worry about food now! hehe.
Rory - how's the toilet training? Ours is going great guns :) Only have a nappy on for sleeps now. Will probably try our first shopping outing today. eek.
OK, should go have my shower. Kayla's asleep, DH has crashed on the lounge and Tallon is out the back watching playschool.

We’re having the coldest summer in 30 years here so far, average around 24 degrees, I’m almost wishing for a little bit of hot weather so I can take Jake to the beach! Jake’s the same with his walking now, he’s a pro and got a bit of a run going too, it’s so cute! Sorry to hear Olivia didn’t want to play happy sleepers last night, I had the same thing on new years eve.
Bekz – glad you got some time to yourself with DH, we’ve found it’s so refreshing when we’re able to do that, which isn’t very often! I have everything crossed that your 12 week scan will go perfectly, I’m sure it will!
Well, not much else to report here at the moment, DH is over at our block demolishing the old building there so we can get it cleared to start building in a few months time, I'm really excited about that and can't wait to be in or own home... hopefully by xmas this year woohoo! Well I can smell a stinky nappy so better go do something about that lol, catch you all a bit later.

Liz-Wow on 12 teeth for Kayla. Loren is cutting her top fanks atm, so far these are really bothering her and she waking up screaming through the night.

Kieren took three steps last night,but is a little shaky on the legs,lol,but he`s getting the idea.
Our other little man Tiger has come down with Croup,was up most of the night,as the coughing fits kept him awake. Gee I can`t ever remembering starting a brand New Year like this before. Anyway hope everyone is well,chat later.

Adkins - yeh pretty much its just that, Rob never told his parents about ash. In the mean time his sister and brother both had babies (not together pml) and he figured telling everyone our news would spoil theres... bastard!

Ash had his injections today. the lady was a biatch but ash did really well. poor thing had both arms and a leg :( i wanted to throw up holding him it made me that sad....

I have had 2 migraines since Saturday so have been bed ridden for most of the time. They have been so bad and both lasted for a couple of days "sigh"
I have also started the new yr body challenge that lucy on here has organised so i think my feeling like poo today could be sugar cravings. I've lost 3kg myself but have 6 more to go :)
Molly is teething really bad. I noticed b4 her sleep today that she has a split gum so i am guessing that tooth will be up by morning. She has about 3 coming through all at once so she isn't a happy camper.
We see the specialist next Tues about her feet so it will be interesting to see what we will be needing to do.
