Lauren ? I didn?t realise rob still lives there, yep that?d make it hard to do the face to face thing! Hope you hear something soon. Lol at the thought of you fighting Ash off the bucket on your dog, you made me laugh!

Nic ? I?m not sure on the screaming thing as Jake does exactly the same thing! He never ever goes into his cot awake without screaming the place down and I have to stay in the room until he falls asleep. I?m so over it as well and wish I could work out what the problem is. I hope you can too.

Hoody ? woohoo on losing 5kg, that?s fantastic and so good you only have another 4 to go!

Kitten ? hope you find a dress. I saw some nice ones at target the other day, depends how formal it needs to be? Otherwise harbour town or similar are usually good for things like that at an affordable price.

Alicia ? sounds like you had a nice weekend, it?s so nice to get out in the sunshine isn?t it? (minus the sunburn of course!)

Lori ? that?s gotta suck going to the rellie?s place and having to stick Ty in a playpen while the dogs get the run of the house! Some people are just way too attached to their pets, I love my dog so much but not so much that I would do that! Turbo used to be an inside dog and is now outside all the time and is still happy and much loved!

Well not much going on here either, bit of a boring weekend, DH and I had a huge fight yesterday so I spent most of the day crying :( but we?re sorted now. It must be the time of the year cause heaps of people I know are having big fights!

Funny you should say that Janine, my dh and I had a big argument yesterday too... maybe it's the hot weather??

lol i think something must be in the air, i had a massive fight with mum on friday and we hadnt fought like that in yrs! :( i was waiting for her to kick me out - came pretty close eeeep! We're ok now but i cant wait to get my own place!!

OOhhh im taking Ash to see Madagascar today! in the normal session time.... god i hope he's ok, i think he might sleep tho.. been tiring him out.. going at 12.15 so no sleep since then.. i think he will Zonk!

fairly decent night here. Kids were all up early unfortunatly (before 6) *sigh* I am getting a little tired of the constant early mornings no matter what time they go to bed.. and tomorrow will be early to as we are going on a day trip with some friends. I am really looking forward to it..

Hope you all had a great morning. Took my boys to the park for a while but it is hot here so decided to leave it until a bit later to go out again.
Ethan took his first steps on Saturday!!! Alex was so proud as Ethan walked towards him. Anyway just a quick pop in and say hello as Ethan has decided it is him time - again lol boys hey.

Yay we survived the movies. Ash loved it - he only watched about 15mins and he zonked and woke up just as it finished lol, but i enjoyed it anyways. It was soooo mice to get out and see a 'normal' session, felt more like a family outting than being forced into mums and bubs cos everyone hates kids in the movies screaming.

need to get some info from those who have expressed before - has anyone used an electric pump b4? im thinking maybe i should try one if there better than the hand one, if im going to spend the next year expressing everyday for Ash at childcare... thats if i can for that long...

Lauren- Go the Avent electric I reckon. Works like a dream.... even if you feel a little bit like a cow attached to a milking machine, ykwim? Moooooooo.... :lol:

Hey Lauren, Glad to hear that the movie went well. What did you go to see? About pumps. I have used electric pumps in the hospital when Ethan was littler - by a mile now. Anyways i found that the double one worked better as the let down occured on both sides at once. Also you dont have to spend as long pumping because you are doing both at once. It hurts at first but i found for the time that i did it - double was alot easier. I found the avent ones were good or the umm m something ones cant think of the brand.

I used a medela electric pump and thought it was awesome :) Very quick and easy to use. Maybe hire one and see how you go of the brand you want to buy to make sure its what you want 1st iykwim.

Well pretty boring day here not much happening. Kids driving me mad. Cant wait for DH to hurry up and come home. Roll on Fri.

Thanks for thinking of me and being such a lovely bunch of friends!
Well, as I stand atm,my lady Doctor isnt back from her holidays until the bloomin, 23/02so I?m just going to see our other family Doctor who DH & the kids use all the time,he`s got 4 kids & married,so I suppose he`s seen lots of boobs in his time. I realy would have prefered my lady Doc,but can`t put this off any longer,I only wish i knew what all the pain is.I will ring the male Doc in the morning to see if i can see him this week.

Anyway enough of my probs!

I don`t know if the weather has got anything to do with it,but kieren has been unsettled lately too,he`s only got 4 teeth,but looks like his getting more.He also screams alot & he`s really getting to me lately,sometimes i just have to go out side for 10 mins or so.instead of yelling stop it!
I have our 2.5 year old starting pre school on Wednesday,I hope that morning goes ok,Iam not in the mood for screaming & tantrums,as DH doesn`t want to come with me,incase he really mucks up for both of us,pee`s me off,it`s like i have to do all the dirty work.:rolleyes:
Iam off to bed now hopefully,i might get some kind of news this week if Iam lucky,fingers crossed. Oh,I been arguing with eveyone the last week or so,not sure but i think Iam just a ****ty B!!!

Lori - I hate it when people are like that about their dogs. My aunty is the same, last time I was at mums at the same time as her poor Olivia didn't get to explore (it was when she had just got a good crawl going) as the dog kept getting in her face and licking her (yuck!) I was pretty annoyed that my aunty didn't put the dog outside at all while I was there.

Lauren - I used to take Olivia to the movies all the time but it is just impossible now. Once she started being more mobile she didn't want to sleep in the movie anymore, she wanted to explore the cinema. We still make it to mums and bubs sessions though and the cinema near us has one twice a week so it is still pretty handy. A DATE!!!!!!!!! So detail...... ;)

Nic - Have a great day away. Sometimes a change of scenery is all thats needed.

I spent today cooking up a storm. I have some old friends from Uni coming for lunch on Wednesday and I wanted to try out some new dessert and biscuit recipes (they turned out to be very yum :D) I also made a batch of cheesey chicken nuggets for the littles who are coming.

Tonight Olivia managed to take 3 steps from me to her daddy. They were very stumbley but she was so proud of herself when we clapped her. I think proper walking is still a bit of a way off but she is on her way :)

Susan - We posted at the same time. I hope you manage to get into the doctor soon. It makes it more nerve-wracking when you decide to go but then can't get an appointment.

Buzzie- Yep you can generally hire breast pumps from ABA, hospitals or Pharmacies i think from memory the one i hired was a $50 deposit and $25/week there after or $80 for a month. Oh i also had to by the bit that goes onto your boob for hygiene reasons and i think that was about $50 but i still had that from DD1 so this time didnt have to get that again. Although it is a bit of money i think it would be worth it to make sure you are happy with the one you buy. I did end up buying one off ebay and i hated it it was a mini electric but cant remember the brand i found it just didnt do much for me iykwim. OMG a date how exciting. I love been married but sometimes i think i would love to be back on the dating scene ya know see i've still got it :ROFL:

Well DD1 has swimming first thing tomo, then i have a Dr appt in the arvo then off to MIL's for tea (dont know why i still have to go when DH is away but anyway) So pretty busy day ahead for us. Molly has driven me mad today she has the worst temper. DD1 can throw a tanty and a half dont get me wrong but Molly is in a league of her own. If someone has something she wants such as a phone or remote etc she just goes wild. Everyone is started to notice too :doh: Hope its not a sign of whats to come iykwim.

i have been so lazy lately. I dont think ive posted since b4 christmas! I blame facebook. Its darn addictive. I have the super poke app and am constantly annoying my younger brothers with it.

Mirani is walking everywhere at the moment. And is even starting to talk! She says 'whats that' and 'did it'. And is starting to say tia and leesha.

Well not much happening here, another stinking hot day and I think there?s a fire nearby, CFS have been going crazy screaming down our street and I think I can see smoke but not sure as it?s really windy and could be dust. Oh well, if it?s serious I?m sure they?ll let us know.

Adkins - the big cinemas like Hoyts and Village usually have one a month, but our local smaller cinema has two a week (they are making a fortune off it) Some big cinemas also have a 'crying room' which is a glassed room at the back of the normal cinema so you can go into any session and if bub is noisy just step into the crying room and watch the movie from in there. Olivia and I went a lot last Summer when it was really hot and we didn't have aircon.

Michelle - i added u to FB. Im addicted too :D I even have an account set up for Ash. Only has Mothersgroup, BB and family on it so i can protect his pictures.

i looked on the ABA website and they hire Medela & Ameda for $15 a week and symphony for $25, (half price cos im a member) but ive never heard of symphony. Plus the bits u buy yourself, storing the milk...

took ash to abc today first day back since wednesday Oh my god the poor little thing SCREAMED and SCREAMED.. i was sitting in the office at the front of the building paying my account and i could hear him! I said i wanted to take him home and she said i would just confuse hi cos hell start to think if he cries he can go home, which was true so i left him. As soon as i walked out the building i cried histerically!! i was such a mess. But i picked him up at 11.30 and its almost one and hes been fast asleep since.
Tomorrow he'll do a full day but i think hell be ok cos he wasnt too bad when i picked him up.

Well theres not really too much goss,.. PML I was playing around on RSVP - which i used to do when i was about 20 and met some guy and was seeing him for about 2 yrs i think, but he kept going on rsvp and i had enough so we ended it and i swore NEVER to go back on it...but i got bored one day, and being IMPOSSIBLE to pick up a man with a baby on your hip, i thought ill have a peak on there. anyways i get SO bored on it, and hate making conversations i never really am that intrested in any of them... But there were 2 that emailed me and caught my attention.... yes.. 2 ! lol
So i actually have 2 dates now, i thought i would take the plunge and why not...
So i have a date thursday night with a guy who i dont know how far itll go, hes very nice but a little lazy lol is a manager at coles.. (which is not normally my type.. im more into number 2's types lol) So where off to the movies cos i want to see yes man.
Then Friday night im going out to dinner with number 2, whos a bad boy tradie with a yummy tat down his arm, tanned... yummo.. LOL Plus hes a virgo - i get along so well with virgos, that and there my matching star sign..lol
So i figured i might as well get them both out the way and get the first date over with... im soo hoping at least one of them goes somewhere.... im getting pretty edgy these days LOL plus its a GREAT way to get over Rob and start looking forward in that regard.

I really am over it already though, and dont want to go on it anymore, but when i start work itll get even harder again to meet someone cos everyone HATEs going to the dentist, the last thing they think about it asking for my number..PML especially when i where a mask and glasses no one ever sees my face!
I need to get out more!! LOL

God its hot, Thank god for paddlypools. i have Ashs up almost permanently. He even goes in it at night before bed to cool down even when its cold as... i swear he's immune to anything cold! i dont do it on purpose, we just go outside and he climbs in, usually with his clothes on cos i turn my back for 30secs and hes in!! LOL

Hi everyone, long time no see!

I have a teething stick insect on my hands!:wall: Summer has 12 teeth and is now getting her eye teeth! She only got her molars over Christmas! She is costing me a fortune in clothes too!! She is almost to long for size 1 but too skinny to even hold up the pants!! (She's still under 9kg which is 25% on the graph for weight, but is 80cm long which is 90% on the graph for height!!). And her feet! OH! Size 4 but too skinny to keep the shoe on.

Hope everyone is going well. The heat is driving me mad at the moment. Thank goodness for aircon and thank goodness we finally sold our house after 8 months on the market!! Time to move to a house with more than 2 bedrooms! YIPPEE!!!

thats amazing shes all over the place. Ash is 80cm tall too but 14kg. He's in size 5 shoes (some are even bit tight for him)

Hello ladies,another hot one in Sydney today,even poor Melbourne`s starting to get the shocking heat & fires. I had a quiet day home with the kids today,we watch two movies on pay tv,Dr Seuses-Horton with the Elephant,that was good, the littles ones loved it,then my daughter Emily & i also watched Mama Mia,i wanted to it at the movies,but don`t get out much,iykwim!
Well i got an appointment to see our male Doctor,this Thursday morning,so i will see what comes of it.

Buzzie & Hoody,Gee Iam so glad i don`t have to worry about the Dating game,lol.Hoody could you really be bothered Hun,I know you still have it girlfriend,lol.but Iam happy with what ive got,lol. kitten2b - i have just returned to being a sahm as well. Havent got much cooking done here though. Do you have a nice basic cake recipe? They are really hard to find.
Nikki - congrats on finally selling your house. You must be relieved. Are you moving far from where you are or just into a bigger house?

Ty is still a grumpy head, but he is cutting a top eye tooth (I think that's #13). Gone back to fighting sleep every time I try put him down. We were going so well for so long!! Oh well.

Would you believe some diot set the playground near us on fire? It's in a little fenced off area that has shade and tables as well and tehy run an outdoor playgroup there once a week. Well now playgroup is cancelled because the whole thing is closed off as a safety hazard. What kind of moron thinks it's fun to set a playground on fire??!! :angry:

Buzzie - No, not planning another until the end of year. I would like Number 2 be born around July/August 2010 so will start trying at the end of this year. Not clucky with a newborn yet. My SIL had a baby 2 days after Summer's first birthday and i thought, that was me last year. NO THANKS haha.

Lori - I hope she doesnt become a supermodel haha I don't like being tall so i hope she doesn't end up like me!! Good on you for still b'feeding too. I wish i was sometimes. I miss it but then its nice to be wearing a push up bra again haha gravity isn't a nice thing after b'feeding haha

Jas - We are hopefully going to build a new house, about 10 minutes drive from the centre of town. Cant wait to have more room. Our current house is matchbox size. It was fine for the 2 of us, then when bub came along it was just OK haha now its just too small. She has too many possessions!!

I took summer to the movies the other day to watch Madagascar 2 and she laughed the whole time when the rest of the audience laughed. It was so funny. For the rest of the time she just ate and ate and ate haha :rolleyes:

just wanted to share with you all, that my little boy Tiger 2.5, started pre-school today,without any tantums or tears.He was happy for me to go,so he could go out side & play with the kiddies. WOW!!!! I just couldn`t get over him being so good,anyway i bought him a nice suprise,a big book on trucks,cars,diggers...etc... for being a brave boy, I got to go to the shops in peace today....:D

I was just reading in another thread about babies getting there big bed for their first birthday and it made me wonder if your bub's are stil in cot's or moved into a toddler bed?

Also, my bub still has one bottle at night - I have read on a number of occasions that they shloud give up the bottle by one -I'm not sure I am ready for her to give it up yet? She will drink perfectly fine from her straw cup but I'm just not sure whether I want her to do that just yet? Maybe it is Mummy not wanting her bub toi grow up....

Susan - wtg on Tiger liking his preschool, that's fantastic and so much easier when they like it!

kts - Jake is still in his cot and will be for a while yet I think, I'm in no rush to move him into a bed. I really have no idea on the bottle thing as Jake has only ever had boobie and water from a cup.

Kts- Molly is still in a cot. I moved DD1 into a big bed at 16 months but she was a bit more advanced than Molly is with walking etc and i was also pg so didnt want to do it too close to bub been born. I was happy for her to have her bottle at night for as long as she wanted but she gave it up at 19months on her own. Molly still has 2-3 bottles a day and i'm not in a hurry to get rid of them she has some days where she is a bit fussy with eating so its reassuring to know she is at least getting the milk.

Nikki- dont think we've met :) Where abouts in perth are you? I'm a perthie too. I know what you mean about seeing NB's and thinking No Thanks. My neighbour has a 6wk old and i see her and think rather her than me. I still love a cuddle but i love to give her back.

Well Dh is home tomo night and i cant wait. DD1 is going with MIL tomo to some animal farm so just me and Molly which will be nice. MIL wanted me to take Molly but much to her dissapointment i'm not. SHe isnt planning on going til 11 (right on Molly's sleep time) and she is also taking BIL's kids who i find i dont have a lot of patience with. She thinks i'm been nasty by not taking Molly but I will be the one stuck with a grumpy baby. Mind you she really got under my skin today so TBH i'm glad i'm not going and i'm glad she isnt happy about it.......oops that sounds a little mean.

Adkins: A phone rings somewhere anywhere and when you answer it a voice says would you like the chance to win some $$$ ( can't remember the amount might be $25k) Then they have 3 hours to do things to get the money. Just interesting to watch I guess

kts: Olivia is still in a cot to. I think the youngest I put one of my kids in a bed was 16 months and that was just because :lol: Its a personal thing. I debate putting Livi in the toddler bed but I don't think she would sleep very well being able to get up when she wants.. Might wait a bit longer with her now :) On the bottle thing. Its up to you. Ethan was a FF bub and he finally gave up the bottle at 2.5yrs. Isaac had ebm in a bottle till 10 months then ff or cows milk till he was 2..

Well not much to report from me. Im around just busy. Bought all the school stuff yesterday so today I have to name and sort it all out. Will try Isaacs uniform on and make sure it all fits. I can't believe my baby is going to school.. (deep breath) I am going to miss my big boys so much next week. I really enjoy having al my kidlets together, even on the days they bug me ;)

Olivia is dancing to Yo gabba gabba at the moment. She is a real little dancer. so cute. and has new words.. She yells BROTHER when she wants the boys and has started saying backpack again and demands (yes at 14 months she demands) to wear it. funny little creature she is lol

Simon is at work today poor sweety so didn't want to go and I didn't want him to go. but oh well.. day will go by fast enough ( I hope)

Good morning!

It's a lovely day here today, 29 deg the coolest we've had in over a week, I actually slept quite well last night as it wasn't so hot in the bedroom...just wish I'd gone to bed earlier, I got a bit sidetracked doing my cross stitch so didn't go to bed til 11:30 and up again at 6! Oh well, sleep is for the weak don't they say? :)

Nic - the phone sounds good, pity I don't have foxtel! One day maybe. How cute Olivia dancing and saying brother, that's too cute!

Hoody - wtg on dh coming home tonight, bet you're excited, how long has he been away for? Completely understand you not wanting to take Molly, it's you who has to deal with here if she's grumpy, not MIL!
