    Hi Mummies

    I have been slack!

Lori - Wow and Oh No. I hope everything is ok and your scan goes well on Friday. Well done on the breastfeeding. Our bodies are amazing.

MoM - Was so happy to read that you have a pulled muscle. You rest up now. Happy Birthday to DD. That is a lot of cupcakes to ice.

Buzzie - good luck with the house hunting.

    Jas - Happy belated Birthday.

Nic - sad news for your mum. I barely watch or listen to the news these days. It makes me too sad and/or angry.

I am into the second week of work now and am dead tired today. I have 14 weeks and 4 days to go - woohoo. Monique walks around everywhere now but she is getting a bit of an attitude when she wants something NOW. I think she is getting better at childcare. She cried when we dropped her off as usual but she waved goodbye to us this morning so that is an improvement. I think she has picked up another cold though I have my 20 week ultrasound on Saturday and I can't wait!!

20 weeks already tinsel wow.. That really has flown by hasn't it.

Lauren: What are your plans for your child free time?

Olivia was not a good girl last night. She went to bed like a dream at 7:30 and then woke every 20 mins. Just after 9 I gave up and got up to her. We have started ignoring the calling out. It was after midnight before she went back to bed. gawd I was feeling cranky.. Thank goodness for that day sleep yesterday

I am so mad by the media here at the moment.. With that little girl that died.. AAgghh.. they are making out that the Department of child protection are in the wrong.. I can't say much due to privacy issues but GRRR I am so mad

    Hi All,

Susan - Sooooo glad your boobies are ok!!!!
Lori - Good luck with your scan. And a big high 5 for bfing this far.

Miss Loren is getting better slowly. No temps for 24 hours now but she is still cranky and sleeps alot. My SIL has been a doll and taken Sara to playgroup for me today. OMG I had 4 nights of 2 hourly wake ups (actually 2 of those nights I did not sleep at all) and I have just been reminded of what is ahead of me in a few months...holly cR@p

Of course the Vic fire news has taken up a lot of my thoughts. Alicia I hope your parents are ok.

Buzzie - My scan is next Monday. Good luck with the house hunting hon.

    Jas - Happy belated Birthday.

Tinsel - Goodluck with your scan...btw I think pink for you. I don't know why I just do. How is Monique going at d/c?

Not much else happening here really, except I can't fit into my normal shorts anymore. I haven't felt much movement yet but I heard bub's heartbeat on Saturday.

Oops almost forgot. Daycare called to tell that they are ready for Loren next week...I seriously was not expecting this for another couple of months. I actually don't know what to do. DH thinks I should just try her and see how she copes.

I'm at home with Monique today. She has puffy red runny eyes and runny nose so thought I better not send her off to childcare. She wants lots of cuddles and is finally having a sleep.

Bek - glad to hear Loren is getting better. I was just thinking about the broken sleep last night My family think its a pink bundle too and I don't mind either way but would be nice to have one of each as we are only planning two. Wow, daycare next week. How many days would you put her in for? I am still thinking of keeping Monique in childcare for maybe 2 days a week when bubs arrives at least for the first 6 weeks.

Nic - what a nightmare with Olivia waking up every 20 mins.

Buzzie - have fun at mothers group. I love seeing how much the babies have grown.

Tinsel - I have booked her for 2 days per week. Initially I thought of putting her in for only one day but 2 are available and they say it is better to get them used to it etc. Personally I would not have coped when I had Loren if I did not put Sara in daycare for a couple of days per week. Sara was/is such a social soul that she would have gone crazy at home with me and Loren 24/7. Plus I was trying to bf (which i don't do very well) and I really needed some one on one time with Loren. Assuming that I am going to be the same way when this bub comes I kinda think that Loren needs to go to d/c too. So if you are like me and feel that you need some time out then I would keep Monique in d/c those couple of days. I really feel that d/c has benefited Sara long term. Socially she is brilliant and she has learnt so much. Initially though Sara did get quite sick and I had serious second thoughts about continuing with d/c but now I think we've made the right decision.
