Hi Ladies,

Hoody - I hope Molly is less clingy today for you. Loren gets like that too before, during and after illness.

MoM - Yay you got your computer back.

Lori - All the best at the doctors.

Well I have put my back out, it happens every pregnancy at least twice. I am ok if I don't move.

Loren went off to daycare today and she cried yet again..Sara has developed a strange habit of clearing her throat. I am freaking out in case she has some sort of tick or nervous condition, although some BB ladies have suggested it may be asthma or allergy. I suffered from asthma as a child and I have very bad allergies now so that wouldn't surprise me in the least. Sara has also started needing constant recognition and praise..OMG it is driving me insane, she constantly says that she is a good girl and asks us if she is goo. I told her daycare teacher about it and apparently she does it there too. I am not sure what to do???? anyone had this happen?

Sorry for the long post. Thanks for the name compliments. Sara is already calling bub baby Eva!!! She loves the name because it comes from the Walle (sp?) movie

OMGoodness i am so excited i have an interview tomo for a hairdressing apprenticeship. I know its not the best paid job etc but its something i have always wanted to do and thought because of my age it would never happen. I have been looking into it for months and every phone call i make gets rejected when they find out i'm 25 :rolleyes: Its not like i'm 60+ hello i still have lots of working yrs left in me. Well i called a lady today and she is looking for an apprentice and wants to meet me tomo. I know she is conducting other interviews so chances are if someone younger is as suited it will go to them as they cost less but hey at least i know some employers will at least interview me :) Another lady also said she'd call me this evening to discuss it.........we will see.

Molly is fractionally better today though still not great.

MOM- YAY on the puter

Lori- so much for a secret but hey they had to find out sometime.

Bekz- I hope the throat clearing is just a phase and nothing to be concerned about

Nic- I have a screamer too it drives me bonkers

hoody - thats great all the best for you. I did some hair dressing before i became a dental nurse and they offered an apprentiship but i just couldnt handle the long hours on my feet all day. i did 12 hour shifts on thursday late nights and we had morning break, lunch and even a dinner break... god it was tiring.
the pay is terrible so i respect the ppl who do it as they do work VERY hard then what ppl give them credit for!.

Bekz - so you sticking with Eva now? its so pretty, goes very well with the other 2 girls names :)

lori - thanks for being so excited! :D god i hope he sticks to this stuff.
I was going to get that vaccine but wasnt sure, i know another friend who got pregnant whilst on it and her bubs is very happy and healthy :)

susan - thats awesome about the computer!! what a worry off your mind! they can be such pains to fix sometimes!!

Nic - how rude of simon... men! pft... i laughed about the shoe thing... thats absolutely adorable.. i love the little things like that that kids get frustrated with..

Hello to everyone else.. ash is screaming ma ma ma so i better go. he got 2 more teeth this week, hes been so upset :( poor bubba.
its 8pm i think i could go to bed,... this working is killing me lol i cant believe how work tires me out so much more than looking after a baby.... :doh:

Hoody - I was a hairdresser full time for 7 years. I managed salons and I trained apprentices. You have a lot going for you being a mature aged apprentice. You've got maturity, a willingness to learn, good work ethic etc and life experience. Life experience is vital to be able to communicate with a client:) Goodluck hon. It is hard work but so worth it in the end...I can always make money if need be.

Hoody- hope it goes well for you hun, that sounds fantastic. as Bek said, you have a lot going for you, being older- I'd rather have someone a bit older cut my hair and make chit chat anyday ;)

Lauren- I can't even imagine how tired you must be hun. Maybe try for some early nights? I think 8pm is a perfectly reasonable time to go to bed.

Bek- Maybe it's a stage sara's going through, with the throat clearing and the reassurance. Maybe it's got something to do with bubs-on-the-way? Sorry, I have no idea, I hope you get some answers.

My appointment went fine- apparentley, I have nothing to worry about :dance: so that's a big weight off my mind. ty has been sleeping really well lately- only waking once at night and doing a good seven hour stretch. But the whinging is driving me batty. I know he can't talk yet so has no other form of communication, but seriously there is only so much one woman can take... I'm trying to teach him 'please' so he can let me know he wants something without whinging at me... any other ideas?

Ash is very good at pointing at what he wants. and very persistant with saying Yes or No and shakes his head up the right way. I love now he is able to do this especially pointing so well, hell walk up to it and point to so it good hes so accurate or i wouldnt have a clue wat hes pointing at lol

bekz - i could never settle on a boys name till i decided ash. i think it got changed at least 3 or 4 times, but if ash was going to be a girl, it was always going to be ruby from the begining lol

omg Ash was playing on the bed with tya (tia) my dog, and i kept saying 'no licking tya' and shes a pain in the **** for licking, and ash started saying no licking tya.. as clear as that... it was incredible. He also has started singing ABC's with me, but only gets to d.. but still thats so good!! :D

Lauren- Doesn't exactly point, coz I don't, but does gesture towards what he wants... it's just that the whinge comes at the same time, ykwim? So if he was silent and gesturing, i could totally hack that, but he can't seem to gesture without the whinge. Dh reckons he gets that from me :lol:

PML, yeh things like that is always the mum hey,..:p
maybe he is just frustrated he cant communicate then... ???

Well, I finally got to see my lady Doctor yesty & she is recommending i go on a low dose of a ant-depressant. :rolleyes: I`ve been struggling with mood swings for a while now,also had bloods & a few other things done,So in two weeks i might find out what might be happening with Hormones,etc......... Nic- Hello how is ya hun,I had a chuckle at Olivia eating paper,when i go shopping,Kieren pulls the price tickets off the shelves ( specials tickets) and chews on them whilst sitting in the trolley,so when i try to take them off him,he throws a tantie!
Isn`t lovely to buy pretty girly things,i love going shopping with my Emily,we have fun together with the boys! Hope you are all well.;)

Hi all, thankgod home from work...

susan - Ash is loving childcare now... Thankgod!! Hes been off playing really happily when i pick him up, mind u winges when he sees me.. :P thanks ashie!

Rob came over last night and ash absolutely loved him.. played and laughed at hime and gave him cuddles all night! i couldnt believe how quickly he just took to him.
im hoping its not a one off becuase it was late and he was little tired, so well see how he goes on the weekend.
Although i have to have one quick winge.... Rob smsed me today and said he loved last night so much and spending time with us both and all the cuddles he got with ash (and mum lol) well hes told his mates.... I rang him straight away and said omg what did u say, ( i have just come to terms with his family knowing and didnt think he was going to tell them so soon, he obviously enjoyed the night so much he wanted to tell everyone)
Anyways, his mates - who i never really got along with as such, long story cut short, back in high school i cheated on rob, i know was horrible and i felt sooo terrible for it, but his mate alwasy held a grudge about me since, so anyways they all want to meet ash and rob goes, yeh they want to baby sit!!!! NOT A FREAKING BLOODY F****** CHANCE!! i was so angry and ive been feeling sick all day just because i dont want his friends to meet ash! there not the most well behaved little boys and i dont want ash around that, but now ive made rob apart of ashs life, its like, well wat rights do i have saying who robs allowed to show ash too... and i feel like im going to loose such a massive amount of control becuase hes ashs father.... ohh man... ive told him this is going to have to go slow slow cos ive gone from a whole 2 yrs of secrets and just me and ash to ALL these people surrounding me... im struggling a little. so i just want to get past this sunday and take one day at a time!!

blah.. sorry for the rant..... can i ever get just a boring week in my life .... geeperscreepers......!

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile, you know how things get. I've read through all the posts but am a bit tired to do personals. It has been a stressful week here - Olivia is really trying to throw her weight around and is regularly plonking herself on the floor and screaming/crying/yelling over the smallest things. The mega tanty today was over the fact that she wanted to play in the bathroom and I dared to shut the door :rolleyes: Also I have had the worst headcold for over a week and am about ready to chop my own head off and replace it with a less gooby one.

I hope you and all the bubbas are doing well tonight.

I understand about the tantrums,Kieren is starting to throw them at the shops when i try to put him in the shopping trolley,he wants to walk with his brother,& everyone has a good stare when he cries.:rolleyes:

Hi everyone...Again its been a heck of a long time since I posted.....So much been going on here not all is wonderful....either...

Family is great, though DP was laid off just over a week ago and so far no luck finding another job looking quite bleak out there, job wise...We will survive though just no luxeries as such which prob be good for my waist anyway...

Got some more grouting done yesterday what a messy job that is but the end result is beautiful....

Olivia is such a Diva as everyone else children tantrums galore here esp if I take something of her she really wanted.....She really loves being outside and getting filthy esp loves water and will take any opportunity to get under the sprinkler or play with the air con hose...

I want to wean olivia now as I am sick to death of he r waking for her night feed....She has formed a habit now :( any one got any tips to make it easier ....she flat out refuse cows milk and formula.....sigh

Hope everyone who's children are unwell that they get better real quick and that you don't catch the bugs...

Hi Teena, sorry to hear about DH fingers crossed he finds something soon.
I cant give u advice on stopping BF as im not ready too, but with the milk, ash refused cows milk also about a month or 2 ago when i did try weaning, and just last week ABC tried uht full cream and he screamed when they took it off of him (it was another babys cup lol) SO i guess you just have to keep trying different milks maybe or different times and if shes ready shell go for it..... ?

So long since i have posted as well. I finished work a couple of weeks ago and now I am at my parent's place in Forbes for a few weeks. It has been great - posted some new photos on facebook, though Fia has had a cold which is slowly getting better. She has some new words including "Fia's shoes", "Chook", "Cat", "Kitty" and "mine".

Teena - my girls usually only drink uht milk and they love it. Not sure when Fia will wean but she also loves her milk sippy cup as well.

Teena: Hi.. good to see you posting in here :)

:hug: about Dp and his job.. I hope another comes up soon.. As for weaning. I went through that with my Olivia but I just stopped feeding her overnight. I just simply refused it. She doesn't have any boo boo from around 7:30 at night till she wakes in the morning. Of course if I think she hasn't eaten much during the day and she wakes I will offer it but most of the time now she doesn't want it. she just wants water.. and I have to say since we managed to take that away she has slept heaps better. She still wakes up sometimes between her bedtime and our bedtime and I think she hears noises so wakes.. Either way it is so frustrating :hug:

Lauren: Olivia hates full cream milk in a cup. so did Jacob. I wonder if they don't like the taste cus BM is so much sweeter? Jacob started drinking cows milk about a month after he weaned. But he isn't that fussed on it now

Louise: Will have to go check out those pics. Are you enjoying not working? Sofia sounds so adorable.. Fias shoes.. too cute!!

Well I better get back into my cleaning.. 10 hours sleep overnight and now I don't have an excuse of im to tired to clean hahaha

hi girls, just a quick one as im shutting down the lappy now, tonight is meet the family night at 5pm.. getting a little nervous but im more worried about ash sitting still, he hates sitting at restaurants. we're going to zagames cos it has a playground and they booked the seat at the entrance of it so will be good i hope... wish me luck lol

Teena- Don't know how to help there hun, Ty weaned himself not long ago. I hope your dh finds some work soon, it's tough atm. Ty loves water and being filthy too :rolleyes: In fact, the biggest tanties we get atm are when I won't let him go outside to run around.

Nic- What were you doing up till 3am you naughty mummy? ;) I was telling dh I need a cleaning fairy that does it for me, out of the goodness of her heart... if I find one I'll send her your way too ;)

Umm... I have a confession to make. We went to a train festival today, took a ride on the steam train they had ther. Had to park our stroller. When we got back, Ty was screaming, so i went to move the car closer while dh grabbed the stroller. And when we where putting in the car... well... I had a proper look at it and it was not our stroller. I went back and tried to find who it belong ed to (and who had ours) but no luck- there would have been 2000 people there. It's exactly the same as ours but in a bit better condition. I feel so bad :redface:

Well having a nice relaxing long weekend :) Went for the interview on Wed and didnt have much luck but then went for another on Sat and the Lady was lovely. She said that she had interviewed another mature age person and she also had young kids and she was going to find it very hard to pick between us. She then asked if i'd do a Part Time apprenticiship as the other lady would then she could employ us both. Anyway long story short this would suit me even better. It means tafe 1 day a week and working 2. So still lots of time to be a Mumma. I go in Thur for a trial and to fill in some paper work so fingers crossed it all goes well. For the girls who commented on the money i know Hairdressing pay sucks but i'm thinking short term loss for long time gain as once qualified i will try and open a salon of my own. DH wants me to get a business now but i want to get into something i know iykwim. If not i could always do from home and take it everywhere with me iykwim.

Well Molly is alot better now and back to normal. She is taking lots of "limpy" steps though still not walking fluently.

Well DH jsut woke up (he got to sleep in til 10 gee i'm a nice wife today) So off to make a cuppa for us both.

All went absolutely fantastic, couldnt of asked for any better. ash was an angel.. no joke, sat very still ate his dinner had a play, gave everyone cuddles and zonked out and had a sleep so i got to eat my dinner...lol it was like everything was ment to be..LOL

Robs staying at his brothers house near me for 2 weeks whilst there over seas so were gonna go up there and see him.. will be so nice to spend some time with him in a quiet house with just ash.... i think hes getting all mushy again..but im playing a little hard to get,, gotta give him something to work for if ash isnt enough..lol


Lori - that cracked me up.. i prob would of felt bad, but would of kept going, that was nice of u to try to find the owner..hehe

MoM- sorry to hear your household is snowed under again. Its horrible when everyone is feeling off and nothing worse than tummy bugs.

Things here are well Molly has figured out she can climb onto the couch.......still working on the getting down backwards which is resulting in lots of bumped heads. :rolleyes: Not going anywhere with the walking. SHe will take a couple of steps but still has issues with her balance due to her ligaments. I have an appt coming up for a podiatrist so will see how that goes.

Hoody- That job sounds really really good, I hope you get it... 3 days a week would be fantastic.

Susan- Ewwww... yucky. Poor thing. Hope all the little ones feel better soon.
