Tinsel- I was a lil disappointed when we found out Molly was to be a girl but wouldnt change it for the world. I love having 2 girls and they are so different in personality. It was so much cheaper too;)

Man I am such an idiot!!!!

In all the confusion of Loren's convulsion at the doctors last Friday I forgot to get my 20wk scan referal and I am booked in for Monday morning at 9am....My doctor does not open on Sunday either. Do you ladies think I could go to a random medical centre and request a referal? Can't see why not.

Alicia - wow the fires got so close to your parents. I hope everything turned out ok. Sorry to hear you know of people who lost everything.

Nic - OMG. So sad to hear of that little girl. How tragic :( Hope the funeral isn't too sad. I would want to have any photos that anyone had too.

Hoody - I saw on FB that your car was broken into. It's such a horrible feeling isn't it, and I can't believe they took all the kid stuff.

Lori - congrats on your pg! How exciting! I saw your thread about coping with two, I'm sure you'll do just fine. You just do what you gotta do, you'll find it all works out in the end :) I used to stress about the logistics of dealing with 2, but I just tried to stop thinking about it, and just dealt with things as they came up. You can't plan for every scenario in advance iykwim. I found I didn't need to 'entertain' DS whilst feeding DD, you know how people say to have snack boxes or special toys for the toddler during feeding time. I never needed anything like that. We're a pretty laid back house, so the feeding etc just fitted in somehow. Congrats again, glad to hear you're starting to feel excited about it all :)

Well, Tallon starts preschool on Monday. Not sure how he's going to go. We've visited a few times now, and he seems quite comfortable there, but me leaving him there on his own is going to be a different story I think. He knows that when he starts preschool properly that mummy isn't going to stay with him. I'm wondering if him knowing this is what's made him regress a bit with separation from me. The last 2 swimming lessons he's just been so terribly upset and wanting me (I now swim with Kayla in her lesson at the other end of the pool) so I'm almost dreading Monday now. I thought he was really ready, but now I'm starting to wonder. Oh well, if he's really distressed by it after a few weeks he doesn't HAVE to go, I can pull him out and try again later. He talks quite excitedly about it and we list all the different things he'll be doing at preschool and he seems ok with it all, so I guess we just wait & see.

In Kayla-land, we're teething still I think and getting a cold so have had a rough couple of nights. Hopefully this is the last teething for a while. She's cutting all 4 eye-teeth (think they're eye teeth). They're the only one's left to come through anyway now until the 2yr old molars I think. She's got such a funny little personality these days too, so adorable. Should update some photos.

Ok, well I'm going to go. Seems DH wants me to play guitar hero with him LOL.

I had a lovely day - DH took me and the girls to the NSW Belly Belly meetup at Hollybolly's house on the Central Coast - had a lovely time meeting all the girls, their kids and DHs again.

Well its 3.50am and instead of been tucked up in bed i am on the computor. DD1 has really bad asthma so i have been up since 1........so so tired but everytime i go to bed she wakes again so i've given up.

My twin sister is having her baby shower today and i cant wait. A little disappointed that DD1 is unwell and it will clash with Molly's sleep time so i'm bound to have 2 grumpy munchkins but there will be plenty of ppl to help.

Molly is fast asleep sleeping like an angel thank goodness we havent disturbed her tonight.

Morning. Thanks for your words of encouragement. I am really happy we will have two girls but I'm not looking forward to having two teenage girls - YIKES! :lol:

Nic - next time! noooooo, think we will stick with two. Girls are very cute and it will be good that we can put new bub in the dresses that Monique didn't get around to wearing.

Liz - Hi. I think we have some teeth coming through here as well.

Bek - oh no. Easy to forget when there are other things going on. I don't see why you couldn't get a referral from a random place. You get the report and ultrasounds to take back to your doctor anyway.

Jas - we have some names on our list from last time but DH really likes Camille and I think it could sound bad with ocker aussie accents. Not sure.

Buzzie - we got two pics which I will upload into the gallery. She wasn't being very cooperative yesterday so they aren't great.

We had such a bad sleep last night. Monique woke up crying about every hour. We gave her nurofen which helped but then she was crying again when it wore off. DH is still in bed - grrrrr when do I ever get a sleep in. I have put Toy Story on to keep her entertained while I'm trying to wake up. I think it is teeth because she is chewing on everything. She is such a good walker now and is so funny to see her walking in and out of rooms and down the hall. Think I need another cup of tea....

I went down the the medical centre down the road and the doc gave me a referal no probs. I don't know why I panicked. I am a stress head lately.

Feeling rather blah today. I have a headache and am a bit tired. Of all days Loren won't go down for a sleep for me and DH has taken Sara out so I'll probably miss my only opportunity of the week to have a rest.

Sorry I have a vent coming...

I am so not happy with my friend who I held a baby shower for last weekend. In amongst Loren being sick I helped (although not to my friends standard) her hold a baby shower. Granted I was late to her place on the day and the poor cherub had to do some cooking all by herself before I got there. Mind you she had has a full nights sleep the night before and I hadn't slept for days at that point. Anyhow the day went off really well and thankfully DH was able to keep Loren's temps under control whilst I was out. Then last night my SIL went to a party and she was there. My SIL asked her if she enjoyed her party and she simply replied that she was too tired to care about it and that I failed her by not not helping enough in the morning!!!! I still bought a heap of food with me, I set up the room when I got there and I ran all the games. WTF she is lucky I came at all with Loren being so sick. I tell ya I think motherhood is going to hit this princess really hard. Sorry for the vent for some reason I needed to get it out.

Louise- I haven't been to the Catholic Club kid's one yet, I don't think they'd let me in because I'm not a member- and becoming a member is pretty complex, you have to have two other members sign your form to nominate you. But there's a Lollipops here which is great, or I could come to you? I'll PM you, I wanted to ask you about a wedding cake quote too.

And Susan i think you're in Parramatta, is that right? Would love to meet up with you too.

Ummm I don't think I missed anyone...

Dh out did himself yesterday and decided to be all nice ;) I got a sleep in, and then a rose, macca's for breakfast and Ty all dumped on me at 9am :D Then my mum babysit while went out for a three course lunch (seriously, we don't normally eat like that but it was a set menu so we thought we might as well) and put a deposit on wedding rings. Then we sat and played boardgames last night after Ty went to bed. Seriously lovely day. Just when I get all cranky at him he goes and does something really nice :lol:

Well to give you all the new update....

I started smsing rob last night... i was actually really angry and just needed to vent a little but basically said how frustrated i was his SIL was more interested in getting to know our son more than his own father...

So anyways cut a story short, he told his parents last week with his brother and SIL in the room and him his brother and his mother all cried and he showed her a couple pics he had that i sent him when ash was little, and they said he is just gorgeous and want to meet him. They are beign very supportive, which frustrated the crap out of me in the sense that i always knew they would be and he was such a worry wort!

Rob was saying more sorrys and he cant wait to see ash again and see him playing with his 2 cousins, and said i want you to know you are my family too and there is an extented family for you here as well as ash.

so alot of me was happy but ash doesnt know who he is and will take a long time to warm up to him, i said he needs to be comfortable around his dad before seeing so many other strangers. im not throwing ash into this and im going to take it as slow as Ash needs....

So that is that.. we havent made any plans to catch up again, im going to leave that up to him, but making it clear he needs to keep doing it all the time once he starts...

I was just going to ask you how things were going today Lauren. I am sure his change of heart prob has a lot to do with his parents and family talking to him.. he should have been like this from the start but (imo) better late then never and as long as he continues contact and doesn't do what my SIL exh has done. he hasnt even rung his kinds in a year :( they are 5 and 7.. A hole..

yeh i think things will be VERY different now.. so im just going to take it one day at a time.. i just hope he see ashs enough to get him to bond with him so we can start seeing the family. I look forward to it to be honest...

Well I am pleased to announce that our baby is healthy and that we'll be welcoming a

Princess

into our family.

According to the scan she is a little small for the original edd of 10 July, but she is spot on for the date that I originally thought would be my edd which is the 16th of July.

Lauren - So glad you've got some news on what is going on with Rob's family. What a huge learning curve for Rob hey...Someone has to force him into being a man...good on you hon.
