Hi Gals, just letting you know that Bek had her precious baby girl this morning. I have put an announcement in the BA's.

Buzzie - Hubby has 2 weeks off work thank goodness. It has gone fast already though. I think Monique is getting more teeth too.

Congratulations to Bek - Hope it all went to plan and you and bubs are enjoying meeting each other finally

omg will go read... thats so funny u guys have had 2 bubs now close together in age.

My mum is moving to the south coast so she needs help to pack .
It`s just full on,and we have school holidays here starting in NSW next week.....not looking forward to it...really!

All these beautiful new babies are making me clucky. Congratulations Kellie and Bek!!! :D

Someone please help me!!!!!!!! Where has my beautifully behaved, self settling baby gone?!?!?!?!??! Olivia is now saying 'NO' all the time, all day and is driving me insane. But worst of all, she is no longer sleeping, and I mean sleeping the worst she ever has! She is impossible to get to sleep (it took 30 minutes of laying together on my bed and then 30 minutes of me sitting next to her cot last night) and then she is waking about every 3 hours and throwing a tantrum because she wants to sleep in our bed. I have tried just sitting with her, laying on her floor and calmly talking to her during the night, but the screaming just gets louder. Please any ideas would be greatly accepted.

At the rate we are going Olivia is never getting a brother or sister as I just don't have th energy to think about dtd, plus she is ending up in our bed more often than not.

Sorry this is a bit of a ranty post, I am just at the end of my sanity at the moment. I feel like I haven't slept in months and DH just doesn't get it because would you believe he can sleep through all the screaming a lot of the time :rolleyes: It drives me crazy that he thinks if he had a good nights sleep then I must have too. Ummm no, actually you had a good sleep because I was up trying to keep the munchkin quiet!

Alicia that is such a gorgeous pic.... sorry cant help u with the settling lol ash isnt the role model for oliva :(

Well talk about jinxing myself AF came yesterday... dont enjoy it but feel more normal now lol.
Im really hoping doing my next course at uni will distract me from babies for one more yr!! lol

Hello Ladies, thanks for your congrates and well wishes. Eva is just devine (although I probably won't be saying that in the wee hours of the morning lol). So far all is good and she is breastfeeding like a champ!!!

Loving the weather up here.. I had a cold shower at 10pm last night :lol: and me and the kids went for a swim today.. Can you believe it?? middle of bloody July and I went swimming.. Blooming Fantastic..

Well Simon wants the comp for a bit and we have to head to the airport to pick up a rellie in about half hour so best get out of my jammies :lol:

Lauren - what course are you doing threw uni at the moment? Might work to keep your mind off babies but i am not convinced. Half the people in my course have babies or are pg.
alicia - just perserve. Alex i ended up putting on a mattress next to my bed - i have done the same thing with ethan. Although ethan usually ends up in my bed and hubby in his - not sure how that worked. Dont give up hope they do grow up of it. Alex is now 8 and sleeps in his own bed in his own room - took to the age of 3 but we got there, you will too.
Sussan - how are you holidays going?

Well not much to report here. Feel a bit off at the moment - not sick off but just off. Dont seem to know whether i am coming or going, could just be because the boys have gone back to school now after having all 4 of them home for the holidays. Havent gotten anything done lately.

jas - its just a radiography course to do with my dental nursing... been waiting 4 yrs for victoria to finally allow nurses to take xrays but we have to go back to uni for another yr! pft! oh well better on my resume..lol

All good here still.. Went swimming again today :lol: Was so darn hot yesterday I felt sick. I swear it felt like a hot summers day.. Today was slightly cooler and the swim made it better. Still amazed by the temperature difference up here..

Am slowly uploading piccies to FB when I get the time.. Will hopefully do some more shortly..

Yeah I thought we knew ages ago that Lori is pregnant. I am definately not preggers - fess up whoever it is!

Well I am having a boring day today. Housework, cooking and bumming around in my trackies. Birthdays are just not the same once you are a mummy. DH did organise a kiddie free day on Saturday though and we went into the city for lunch and then saw the Harry Potter movie at the gold class cinemas (and I drank too much wine :p ).

Olivia seems to be settling down again. I think the chicken pox needle really screwed her around. We are still having issues with her sleeping but she is more her happy self during the day now. Although in saying that she has a cold at the moment and her poor little nose is running all day and then making it hard for her to breathe at night - she is snoring like a 50yo man at the moment n:lol:

I hope eveyone is well. Give those new little princesses a cuddle for me Bek and Tinsel :)

I thought Lori said she was..... but shes been so quiet i would of thought she would of popped in...When is she due???

Wholey crap about number 4!!! thats fantastic !!! maybe he is still hanging out for that boy! LOL - as long as he doenst give you a hard time again if its another girl hey?? What were your thoughts on another one??

Alicia - so hope olivia settles again, maybe its just a stage...
Ash has been doing so much better.. praying he is slowly growing out of his bad nights...seem to want boobies alot within the first few hours but has much bigger better sleeps toward the morning which is great... maybe its the injection too, if she started the sleeping thing around that time and just stuck to the bad habbit??

Well nothing exciting here... Rob and i are so well and truely over i cant even stand the thought of him right now! Last chance offically OVER!! So now i need a new man... And have lots more 'muchly wanted' babies!!!

Had a wonderful day today. Started with me getting the all clear results from the hemithyroidectomy op I had last week, no cancer and no cysts in other half so not likely to happen again. It is healing slowly and is sore but am getting better, I am right to drive again as well which is great.

Also today mum and I took the girls into the city. we went to the powerhouse museum, rode the monorail and went to circular quay to catch the bus back home - was a lovely warm day and we all enjoyed it. Fia loved that she could touch nearly everything at the museum

kitten2b - i thought i recognised your username from somewhere. Glad that you got the all clear though. That must be a huge relief for you.
Lauren - Have fun packing. When i was doing it all the time i hated it, but now that we own our house i miss it. It is amazing how much stuff you throw out when you move compared to how much stuff you accumulate when you dont.

Alicia - i found that the chickenpox vacinne sent ethan off the rails too. Glad to hear that she is settling down now.
bekz - lol your hubby is mad, tell him to wait a few months longer. Although number 4 is no different to number 3 - i think it is easier. Nope not me i am not preggers - i have a mirena thank goddness.

Not much to report on here. being bogged down with studying and trying to keep the house clean. Went to the movies last week loved the propsal cant wait to buy it when it comes out on dvd.

I just had to post my little woohoo. This is the 3rd night that Monique is sleeping in her toddler bed the whole night! She used to wake around 1.30am and howl until I put her in my bed but so far she is staying in hers. Now Amelia sleeps with me so I dont have to keep getting up and down through the night.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. We are having serious sleep issues here at the moment (have been for a few months now) and I am so tired that I am surprised I can still stand up. This week we installed the 'big girl' bed so here is hoping that that eventually works.
I am SO cross at my mum tonight, as she babysat for me today while I was working and she let Olivia have a 3 1/2 hour nap (we have started limiting them to 1 1/2 hours this week and it is helping night sleeps a bit), so now of course she won't go to sleep at all. Rob and I are currently doing shifts in her room so I am writing this on my 'break'. GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Apart from sleep issues things are pretty good. Olivia is talking up a storm now and is definately able to get her wants/needs/interests across. She is great at 'helping' around the house and particularly likes to 'help' make dinner - tonight while I cut up the vegies she stood next to me and ate 3 pieces of fruit out of the fruit bowl :lol:

Bugger I have to go, my turn in the room of endless sleeplessness..........

I'll try to get back on tomorrow and do personals. I hope everyone is doing ok.

:hug: alicia.. sleep is or lack of it is so frustrating and annoying. My little miss has been shocking since we went on holidays. She sleeps through most nights but is horrendous to get to bed (maybe not as bad as your miss though)

Not a lot to report here. Feeling fairly flat as Simon went back to work today :( He is sulking lol..

Olivia says so many words now. Some 3 word sentences as well. Definetly knows what she wants to.. she has learnt to semi jump which is so cute to watch lol..

I have made a montage of our holiday so hopefully I will be able to upload it somewhere. Won't bother with youtube as they will take my music off.. Will have to have a hunt around for a site. (any suggestions?)

Hi girls been awhile since i have been able to get on as well. Alex went off to a councillor for a while to see if they could help him, they told me it is mainly because he doesnt get to do what he wants - life of an 8 year old huh. Jack had a break down this morning because he lost his drink bottle at school yesterday i pity his teacher if they cant find it today.
Charlie doenst want to use the toilet of a night time and is still peeing his bed. He is nearly 4 any ideas? I dont like buying nappies and he is getting too big for them now.
Ethan is well ethan. His feelings as we call them are still running rapid. He wants everything here come the terrible twos. Just went threw he cupboard and gave away all his size ones cause they dont fit anymore :(
Nic - yay for olivias words it is great that she is stringing words together. Ethan refuses to talk half the time.
Alicia - hope the sleep front is looking better. Ethan likes to help cook as well. I give him a hand ful of frozen vege to keep him amused.

Also ladies i wanted to check if we were going to do the secret santa type thing again this year for the birthdays seeing as it is getting close to that time again.

hiya jas.. Gee its been quiet in here.. Guess we are all busy with our busy little ones..

I have the same issues with my Ethan that you seem to have with alex. He is seeing a Guidance Councillor at school again and depending on what she recommends he might be seeing someone outside as well

Miss Olivia is a real little girl now.. Gone are the baby things.. she acts like a tiny 2 yr old lol. She finally weighs just over 10kg lol.. Although I haven't weighed her n 2 weeks so she might be more now ;)

I also think weaning has begun. I am unsure how I feel about it. I had it in my head I was going to feed till she was 2 so for her to wean herself at the same age JAcob did makes me a little sad. Jacob was 21 months exactly the night he had his last Boo Boo.. Olivia was 21 months the other week and she refuses Boo most of the time and says No Yuck.. She hasn't had any since last night but she did have some during the day yesterday which is a first for a while/ but last nights feed was 3 sucks and that was that..

We are also having sleep issues.. I have to cuddle her off to sleep or she screams and screams. While we were away nearly every night I lay down with her to get her to sleep.. I knew it would create problems when we got home but not to this extent. She doesn't sleep through every night anymore either.. And I tell ya I am sick of her sleeping in my bed. If she would just lay there and go to sleep I don't think it would bother me as much but she has to jump on us or sing or pull the blankets off or on and then the pinching lightly starts.. GRR.. and thank goodness she has turned into a Daddy's Girl finally so Simon can settle her better then I can.. I think its because he has more patience ;)

Anyways enough of my gasbagging.. oh we are off on holidays again on the 8th ;) Off to Burrum Heads for a week with the neighbours.. Renting a nice house for the week.. Can't wait

Yep dont you love the 2 year old faze. Cant help much on the sleeping bit, Ethan still hasnt slept thew at all yet. I have to lay down with him - although him on his bed and me on mine - his bed is next to mine. He always ends up in mine by morning though - i hate to get up during the night.
I hated it when my boys weened themselves as well they were alot younger though. Maybe she might want it tonight fingers crost for you.
Have fun on your holiday coming up. Boy seems you are always on holidays at the moment. Bet the kids are having lots of fun though.
