I have been lurking but not posting. We've all been sick again and I am buggered. Miss has tonsilitis and a chest infection.She has just had another febrile convultion and is laying next to me recovering. Poor mite. Sara has school sores..omg yuk and I am having my wisdom tooth out tomorrow...yey.
Sorry for the doomy gloomy post. On the up side bub is moving around heaps 9 weeks to go

Lauren - i know what you mean i pulled my kids from a daycare centre not so long ago for a similar thing only they kept putting ethan to sleep all day long! Now they are in family daycare which i am finding alot better.
Charlie broke his toe so we have had some fun and games in that department. Alex started that national test thing today so he is stressed out, but Jack is excited cause he gets to go to his first birthday party on the weekend.
Sorry guys have to run cause charlie has just came home. Will try to get on more. I want to hear when the bubs come - lol i love babies too much i think.

And 31 weeks OMG!! not long to go!!
Im still here and with some GREAT news.. Went to see the sleep school lady and OMG i am still in shock, after talking to her about everything thats been happening with Ash she just blurted out exactly what he had and why and how to fix it and handed me a piece of paper describing it and i was reading it going.. yes.. yes .. yes,. yes.. ****!! ive spent 16 months with this and you have told me in 15 mins he has this problem.
He has what is called confusal arousal. which is basically not being able to obviously settle but when he gets to his light sleep he sorta of wakes but doesnt. Its like hes body is but not his mind so babys can scream and cry and throw there legs around in frustration and so all the time ash was doing that its not pain at all but being frustrated. And it says they are non responsive to even a parent because they arent even awake enough to recgonise who is holding them. And the funnist part was, i said to her on his worst night i would have to wake him up and go sit in the lounge or something as when he woke up he stopped and seemed fine. On the piece of paper it said, babies often wake in the morning as if nothing has happened, they wont even remember the night occured. OMG!! This piece of paper was like reading my nights journal.. kid you not! lol
So anyways last night was my first night trying some new techniques and as everytime he wakes he has boobie - atm about 5 times a night. i didnt know how else to comfort him. So anyway she said that has to stop as its his comforter getting to sleep and he needs to do it on his own - obviously - so with her advice i have to cut back to 3 feeds for 4nights then 3 then 2 then 1. and strictly no feeds before bed, must go down on his own. So anyways he did wake 5 times durning the nights but only had 2 BOOBIES!!! whooot!! lol i managed to comfort the other times and get through the crying, which wasnt really that long. But she said i can still co-sleep as we are taking one step at a time and i think once hes starting to get off the boobies at night ill just see what happens.
well im excited about that!! better get ready for work now i guess... ho humm.... 7 am and have to wake ash up whos fast asleep... go figure!!

All is well at my end,Kieren is learning new words everyday.....& I get him out to our local park to play & mix with other kids,when it`s nice and sunny,he loves it,he`s a real social little boy,loves to play with other`s.

Just cruising along here. We did put Ty into his toddler bed over the weekend- I wanted him to forget about the cot before the new bubs has to go into it. He handled it like a pro. Think it helped that he dropped one sleep at the same time, so was super tired at nap and bed time.
Susan- hi hun, how are you? i have been thinking about you lately. Glad to hear you guys are all going well :)
Lauren- That is fantastic news, hope you get the sleep issues sorted soon. I'll be in the same boat myself in not too long- we have to stop co sleeping before the new baby arrives :( That will be a bit sad.

That is great about the sleep clinic Lauren hope it helps him. My eldest has a sleep problem of waking up and lashing out yelling and stuff he has nearly grown out of it now though.

why oh why do kids need to be so loud in the mornings?? Livi woke at 4:10am but thank goodness she went back to sleep cuddled up on the couch. I didn't sleep much though just dozed. Between Simon getting ready for work and the outside noise (read neighbours making hella lot of noise) ah well.. Life goes on..

I could just retype my above post almost exactl the same lol. Kids were ALL up by 5:30 and gosh they make some noise.
Olivia is just to loud in the mornings and is always running down the hall trying to wake her brothers.. She yells BRUVERS at the top of her lungs. Whiles it pretty darn cute doesn't she know I don't want the boys awake just yet lol..

I am here sort of - Fia had a stomach bug, gave it to DH, he has given it to me and he is in Rocky for a week so whilst I took the kids out of the house for most of the weekend, I get to be sick with 2 kids in a very small unit with no help. Thankgod the kids have been good.
Oh I went to the baby expo on Sunday and saw Trish

I am around. I was reading the thread on the weekend but wasn't up to posting - I had a silly accident Thursday night and ended up with concussion and on some lovely strong pain killers, so my brain has not really been functioning the last few days :doh:
Olivia is hilarious at the moment. On Sunday DH asked her what the problem was (she was grizzling while in bed with us) and she turned to him and said 'no problem' :lol:
But now the poor little bubba is sick, it came on yesterday, so she is not her usual happy self. Last night she was sooooo miserable and just wanted to snuggle on the couch with her mummy. As much as I love cuddles with her I know when she cuddles in like that that it is not a good sign.... Hopefully after a restful day today she will be better and the panadol will kick in and help the temperature.

Kieren is really giving me the poop`s lately,he`s been wanting to get up at 5am,& I have the other young ones with Asthma,using the Nebuliser every 4-6 hours or when they wake me,lol.....but I`am so tired.

Kitten 2b-Hi sorry you have your girls sick too,it`s not much fun for any of us,never any rest for us Mummies. Hope you get some me time once DH,gets home.
Well,I`ve had a couple of busy weeks,I`ve had my exam`s & just finishing a weeks training course,I`ve been bored though,so will be happy to finish in August.
My kids need me to be at home when their sick,they just don`t like to be left.

Not much to report here. Yes got rid of my back ache and replaced it with another. Simon worked a knot out but in doing so it feels like he has bruised my back. Ah well it will go away eventually

Thanks for my Birthday wishes. I must say it was the cr@ppiest birthday but all is well now. Except that DH lost his big contract and are in the poor house majorly. Basically that company has gone under and they owe us 3 months worth of commission and all our current commission is still going into the company and we can't get our hands on it....Yes very stressful indeed.
Not what a mummy to be needs atm. So I have pulled miss Loren out of daycare. I just can't justify the cost plus I need some time with her before bub is born.
I put away the high chair yesterday and Loren is now sitting at the big table in a booster seat. She loves it and feeds herself with a spoon and folk..So cute.

Poor Olivia is still really under the weather. I suspect it might be teeth, but she has never been like this before. She grizzled, whined and cried for all of yesterday and all of today. Plus last night she wouldn't sleep at all except with us in the big bed. It is all very unlike her. So far today I have managed to cook some soup but that is it as Livi has just wanted cuddles and attention constantly. Hopefully when she wakes up from her nap she will be cheerier but I am not holding out much hope....
It sounds like there are lots of sickies about at the moment.

Bek, that is awful. A friend and her Dh are in pretty much the same situation at the moment so I know a bit about how stressful it is. How are things going with the little bub? Did you decide on a name?
Susan, I've forgotted what course you are doing, sorry, but I'm sorry to hear it is boring you. Is it something you are going to persue when you are finished?

I am so sad. I finally got the courage up to get Olivias haircut and I hate it :(:( She looks like a boy.. What have I done :( I know it will grow back but each time I look at her I just hate it and feel so bad for getting it done

Nic, I commented on fb but here there is more room - Olivia's does not look like a boy! She is still a gorgeous cheeky little girl. When I got Olivia's hair cut (about a month ago) I was really, really upset that it looked awful and she looked so different but after a week I could see it settle and start to grow in a nicer shape than it was growing in before. I think that was the hairdressers idea, and that the first haircut sort of shapes the hair. I am still not completely happy with Livi's hair (but she didn't have long hair anyway) but I put some cute little clips in the front and she looks gorgeous. Trust me one haricut is not going to scar her (also trying to convince myself a bit ;))
Olivia woke up with a rash this morning so we were off to the doctors. She has rosela (sp?) and should be fine but the poor little bub has been so miserable. Today I have had a couple of smiles from her already so that is an improvement on the last couple of days.
Nic - i think she still looks gorgeous!! ash had a great hair cut the other week. god it put at least another year on him!

Im a bit of a sad case here myself. Last night i had an cyst burst on my overies. my pcos is coming back :( i think all this weening ash at night time has sent my body crazy. I started light bleeding last night and thought AF was finally showing her ugly head but seems to have settled. Ive been in such pain since tho and my gp thought i could of had an eptopic pregnancy because of the amount of pain i was in, but thankgod that wasnt it. Im off for an ultrasound in 20mins. so cant drink all this water!! blurt!
so i guess this mean back on the pill and no more baby talk for a while for me. maybe a good thing, next yr looks like a good yr to try lol.
Rob and i were talking about marraige couple nights ago.... oh god how scary... dunno if im quite ready for that just yet!

Buzzie - oh my goodness - ouchy! Hope your ultrasound went well and you aren't in too much pain. Sounds like things are getting more serious with Rob. That's a good thing that you are talking about marriage. How's Ash sleeping now?

Nic - I don't think Olivia's haircut is that bad and she still looks cute. Gawd, did you see the first cut I gave Monique (I think there are pics in my gallery). I only cut a snippet off her fringe and it was soooo short. It actually took ages to grow out and I have just given her a little snip the other week to get it out of her eyes. She still doesn't have much hair around the back though.
Bek - bummer about DH's contract, I hope it works out soon. I saw on fb that Loren is sick again. Gosh I hope you have at least a few weeks of everyone being well before bubs arrives.
MoM - woohoo on nearly finishing your course. How is everyone doing? That would be great if you move down south and yes, we would definitely have to organise a meet up.

Well, it is my last day of work tomorrow - yippee and then 6 weeks until bubs scheduled arrival. I have all of next week to myself while Monique is in childcare but I have such a massive to do list. I have my first ever facial on Tuesday so am looking forward to that.
Monique has been a bit out of sorts this week. DH and Monique were sick all last weekend and then I stayed home to look after them on Monday. I think Monique is getting more teeth too. Gosh she was so cranky this morning - wouldn't have her nappy changed, didn't want to get dressed, didn't want shoes on, wouldn't get into the car. Needless to say we were late for work. I wasn't expecting these tanties to happen at 17 months!

I`ve got three sick kids atm.not much to talk about here,sleep deprevation is setting in,so I`am a little cranky pants! My Private Investigating Course is finishing up in August,sick of reading text books on Law.....it`s a little technical at times,but will benefit me in the long run....work wise,at least some time down the track DH & I could run our own business too.....in the next 5 years!

Well I am hating Olivia's hair less. It is sitting better since I used a different conditioner on it. So funny last night. Jacob wet the bed and was semi awake crying so Simon rushed in there (olivia and Jacob share a room) trying to keep Jacob quiet so he wouldn't wake Olivia, But he kicked a toy so hard she woke up screaming. :lol: (not funny for livi) THEN I had to get up and was trying to change her nappy and she was getting all cranky and I thought it was because she had a rash but nope her nappy was dry and she wanted the toilet and omg she did the biggest wee on the toilet. This was 4am lol.. she was happy then and let me put her nappy on and she had boo and went right back to sleep till after 8 :D
Well I better go spend time with the DH I spose ;) he made me yummy avacado on toast for brekky. and now sitting in the lounge on his own, probably watching a doco but hey I can put up with it lol..
hi everyone, just a quick me post as im very very tired.
Well it wasnt my overies, infact they were perfect, after my gp gave me the results she said u need to go straight to emergency it could be your appendix and sure enough...
after LOTS more blood tests another ultrasound they kept me over night on a drip and antibiotics and then friday night i have my appendix removed. It was so badly inflammed they had to keep me another night on antibiotics and ive just come home today. Ash was absolutely miserable. 3 nights of no mummy for the first time since he was born and no night boobies. mum has the worst time of her life as he screamed so much. He has been sleeping at least 3-4 times durning the day and has had feeds durning the day when he saw me and has been hit hard by my pain killers and antibiotics and is like a zombie so thankgod i can stop them now and just had nurofen when needed!
i will go over posts tomorrow. have a good night all... very very sore here! wahhhh

The sickies are starting to hit our house at the moment. All 3 boys have runny noses and coughs. Isaac has almost lost his voice. Olivia just has a runny nose at the moment. Simon and I have sore throats and runny noses..
well I was having a good morning until Jacob left his bowl of porridge on the tabe and now Olivia has it all thru her hair. She has taken to not wanting to wear nappies or clothes. She somehow undid her nappy even though she was in an all in one and wet thru. *sigh* We had to put her in all in ones because she would undress herself in the middle of the night.. might have to tape up the night nappies or put a button up singlet under any clothes she is wearing..

Gee Buzzie, sorry to hear your having such a rough trot! Appendicitis and tonscillitis ... ouchie. i know all about the tonsils, had it about 5 times a year until i got em ripped out haha BEST thing ever.
Well my munchkin is growing and growing and got all of her teeth my 15 months. Now she's getting her 2 year old molars and lordy i am having TROUBLE. She's turned into the real independent miss ... no holding mummy's hand - WAY too grown up for that!
Great to see all of you are doing well, and babies growing older by the day ... scary huh. Tinsel i can't believe your going to have a new baby shortly. IM JEALOUS hehe

the nurse from work had her bub today OMG i am soooooo jealous!! i cant believe how crappy i feel about it. i cant stop feeling how excited she must be right now and i remember sitting in that hospital after having ash and i remember everything i thought and felt like it was only last week!! its just incredible!
I know number 2 will come but i wish i could stop being so maternal right now!

where is everyone? I am at Inlaws for a week in Tamworth - going ok, noone has been threatened with strangulation yet though Fia is getting another top incisor so hopefully bonjella might help tonight.
Im here :) Still using the prehistoric computer as the laptop is STILL at the shop. How frickin long does it take to order a new AC adapter. Idiots. I am ringing them tomorrow and if it isn't there I will order the darn thing myself.. grrr
Miss Olivia had her 18month needles last week and did really well. This week however she isn't so well. She woke up unwell yesterday with really bad breath so today Drs and she has a throat infection. She is on Ab's so hopefully she will be all good within 24 hours. no temps today which was good. The clingyness is bugging me though lol.. I know I know I am a mean mummy. I don't mind when they just cuddle up but she squirms up down up down.. drives me mental. and she wants nothing to do with Daddy so its all me. Usually when the kids are unwell they just want Daddy so he has his nose out of joint (in a fun way)
Not much else to report. Livi is still asking for the toilet a million times a day. We average one wee every 2nd day or so. Its so frustrating though cus she isn't quite ready but she knows what its all about KwIm?
Well I really should go to bed. lol
