WOW how exciting Lauren.. Best of luck..

Well TT has begun here. Going ok. Today will be day 3 of no nappies. She tends to ask for them in the late afternoon. I think she is getting tired by then she still takes her nappy off to do wee's though lol..

Her latest little funny thing is this.. Guess What Mummy?? What is it olivia.. NOTHING and then she runs away

BUZZIE - OMG Congratulations!!!!!! I bet you have looked at the stick a million times to make sure (well I know I did anyway) Keep us updated on your progress. Do you feel up the duff?

Nic - aren't they funny. Monique has a sense of humour too. She usually takes off with the TV remote and when we ask for it back, she comes over to hand it to us and then pulls it back and runs off. She thinks it's hilarious.

Well done on the TT. Monique has been doing poos on the toilet for a while but lately she wants to sit on the potty, then gets upset and demands a nappy put back on before it happens. No good with wees here though. She did one at childcare and was very proud of herself when she told me but won't do it at home. Maybe too early for her yet?? I don't know.

Thanks guys.. Tinsel - yes im looking at it all the time... lol ive even left it in the bathroom so everytime i walk past i check its still there, even tho i did it 2 days ago!!
Yes i feel VERY UTD!! i have terrible morning sickness! which i did from 4 weeks with Ash! Ive got a huge supply of ginger nut biscuits which i think was the only thing that got me through the first trimester last time! Plus im VERY hormonal and just want to cry ALL the time which is sooo not like me.. i rarely cry at all. the last time was my pops funeral 18months ago, before then the day ash was born LOL I bawled this morning watching RPA at a lady who just had kemo therapy and her mum left flowers for her and she cried.. so i cried PML!!!!

YAY all the TT !! Ash is still great at childcare, but we are a little slack here... he is ALWAYs taking his nappy off now tho, so i keep taking him as often as i can...
Will hope hes TT before #2 comes..

Wow, Congratulations Lauren! You don't waste any time do you

Hmmm Olivia's new funny phrase is 'I don't like it, its too bumpy' whenever she is eating something she doesn't want.
    Also yesterday afternoon we spent 10 minutes in a conversation that went something like this;
    Olivia - 'Cats eat worms?'
    Me - 'No'
    Olivia - 'Dogs eat worms?'
    Me - 'No'
    Olivia - 'Lions eat worms?'
    Me - 'No'
(add in at least another 20 animals here)
Me - 'Olivia, birds eat worms'
Olivia - 'Naaaaaaaaah' (and she laughs hysterically)

She also told a great story in the bath tonight, it was really long but involved a duck and a hippo going for a walk in the forest and finding a dragon who they then played hide and seek with

We haven't started TT yet. I was going to start last weekend but chickened out as I thought prehaps she isn't ready. Then this week she has asked to go to the toilet twice (nothing has happened on there but at least she isn't scared of it). I should get me butt into gear and start this week... maybe... ok to be honest the idea of all the mess bothers me

I hope you all have a great Sunday. We are off to visit Olivia's nana and grandpa. See ya

. ok to be honest the idea of all the mess bothers me
    :
Oh me too. I hate constantly wiping up wet floors. I tried the other week and she just kept peeing everywhere so I stopped after a few hours I tried again this week and so far in the last 2 days we have only had poopy pants.. She usually asks for a nappy but yest and this morning she didn't.. and haha.. Daddy found the poop this morning. was amusing. (for me)

Olivia sounds funny with her little stories.. They say such funny things..

I can't believe our babies are old enough to start TT.. they are growing up way to quickly..

Buzzie - I left my test in the bathroom drawer and everytime I went into the bathroom, I opened the drawer to check that I was actually pregnant....like 20 times a day Sad to think I won't have that feeling again. I hope the MS goes away for you. I loved my ginger nut cookies and ginger ale.

Alicia - the idea of mess everywhere gets to me as well. I have had to clean up 2 wees so far. The thought of no nappy overnight scares the heck out of me! We had success on the potty this morning which was great.

How funny is Olivia and what a great story teller. I am loving all the sentences that Monique is stringing together and the songs she makes up.

Nic - how funny. I love when things happen to DH that are gross.

Hey all.. Well I am wondering if it is safe to say we no longer have a little girl in full time nappies. We put nappies on for day sleeps and overnight. She argues with us about that though Lol

I got in a heap of trouble today because I dared to take the wrong pair of shorts to get changed into after a swim at the beach take them off don't want them ones

We don't even put a nappy on for drives.. I will when we do long trips though. but for now they have just been super short drives. home to the beach

poo's on the other hand have been painful. the first 2 days she asked for a nappy just like the boys did but the last 2 days have seen 3 pairs of poopy pants.. Ah well. She will get there eventually

Tinsel: I occasionally get sad thinking about all the things I won't do again too.. Like taking that Pg test.. Nursing a brand new baby but then again I will one day have grandchildren who I don't have to clean up after

TT sucked today.. She was still great really but she pooped once and pee'd twice.. I hate cleaning up that kind of mess

TT a big non event here. Yesterday I put 'big girl' training pants on Olivia, she had them on for half an hour and wet them. I took her to the potty and showed it to her and was talking about weeing in there as I took off the pants, then she had a major spaz about putting on another pair of pants! She was yelling 'no pants, wee wee in nappy!' So maybe I will put off trying again for a few weeks....

We have steps that are attached to a seat that u sit over the toilet, Ash loved going on it cos i think he loves to climb it.. always does wees and our first poo couple weeks ago... but he has ALOT of nappy free time and i can never get him on the loo quick enough he just pees everywhere.. lol Now he is constantly ripping his nappy off if i dont have shorts or pants over the top! but i think its just a matter of my asking ALL the time and taking him regardless if he says yes or no.. cos he always managed to squeeze something out LOL

TT is in full swing at daycare. Monique took herself off to the loo all day yesterday and did 3/5 on the loo. We have sent in undies at their request so will see how she goes today. She is recognising when she needs to do wees now so that is great. If only we could get rid of the dummy at home - daddy! I tend to be bad cop when it comes to giving her the dummy but DH can't stand to see her scream and cry about the dummy so gives it to her

Alicia - we had Monique upset for about a week wanting to put her nappy on to do poo but she seems ok about it again. They certainly let us know what they want don't they.

Nic - don't want to scare you but my SIL daughter still goes into their bed every night and she is 8. They recently upgraded to a King bed.

Buzzie - Fish sauce - eeeeewwwww! Good that it worked though and you get to have your body back for a little while.

Righto, better keep moving before it gets too hot today.

Eeeek Tinsel.. Is o don't want to think about that.. I am sure once I can reason with her (or lock the door to her own room lol) she will stay in her own bed. I put her to bed in her own bed and she slept there the whole night again last night.. Well till 5ish anyways..

Well took Olivia to the Drs this morning cus she had a yucky looking sore on her tummy. Only concerned as the neighbours kids have had School sores and their DD got admitted to Hosp yest with a staph infection. Poor little girl looks terrible.. and now Olivia has a staph infection on her tummy.. It looks icky and she says it hurts. My biggest concern is that the Ab's don't cause her to get runny acidy poo's. She has had Ab's 3 times now and each time she gets terrible poo's and nappy rashes.

Anyways she just got in trouble so is in a mood and a half..

Nic - Poor Olivia, I hope it clears up soon. It's awful when they are unwell

Tinsel - Daddy is the weak link in the dummy chain here too We have progressed to no dummy all day until she starts to get tired and grumpy at 5ish. I don't really mind if she has it at night for a bit longer but the day one is getting to me...

Buzzie - We have a toilet seat thingy too but at the moment it is too hard for Olivia to get to our toilet on her own or quickly, so I want to start with the potty first until she 'gets' the idea a bit more. Although in saying that I have been slack and not tried the pants again yet......

We have been out gardening this morning. I was pulling out weeds, Olivia was pulling out plants Now the gardening monster is having a nap and I think I might have a veg on the couch, have a great afternoon everyone

    Hi Ladies!

Hope everyone had a smashing christmas and new years!

Well I am another one who was TTC and is now UTD too! YAY! Very early but a positive is a positive right!?

Wow, all your kiddies seem to be moving along really well on the TT front. Summer likes to sit on the big toilet but never does anything. It drives me nuts. She comes up to me and says wees or poos so i take her nappy off and take her to the toilet. She sits there for 3 mintues then gets off. Put her nappy back on and then she does it. ARGH. Then takes it back off cause she doesnt like it when its wet!

Dont even get me started on the dummy discussion. I feel i am going to have 2 babies addicted to dummies in 8 months.
