Its so nice to see people in here again

Olivia has been plain horrid the last 2 days and seeing as she has had a cough the last week I took her to the Drs today (and Jacob) and they both have a chest infection. I even relented and bought cough mixture but it is a natural one. I hate giving the over the counter ones. It seems to have done the trick as they are both hardly coughing this afternoon..

Well I must keep moving. House culling is happening and I have a few more jobs to do this evening,.

    Hi Girls,
I cant wait for TT to start, Ethan loves his nappies but and refuses to give them up at all! He even gets cranky at the other kids who wear nappies. I am hoping that once my sister has her baby he might change his mind
Lauren - Congrats with the pink news. My sister is 20 weeks on Monday and my friend on Wednesday they are both having girls as well. My sister has chosen Miah and my friend has chosed Paige.
Nic - How are your reno's going? Wish we could start ours but i think they are going to be a very slow process. Want to knock down the back patio first I think.

Things are good here. I have uni 3 days a week and hopefully at the end of the year will be half way threw my teaching degree.

Hey girls, wow been ages since anyones posted!
Thought I would ask a question here rather facebook ...

Anyones kids going thru a hating the bath stage?? Ash has been cracking up big time and I struggle to get him in, tho once he's in he's fine but it's a big show down toget him in. I have to wait till he has a toy he's obsessed with then threaten to put it in the bin. But I don't want to make bath time a negative thing. - anyone else been thru that?

    Hope ur all well!!

Thanks.. She is very grown up these days. I think thats a couple months old that pic too.

I certainly have a very independant princess these days. She thinks she can do everything her brothers can do so that usually ends in tears.. *sigh*

She had 3 major accidents this past month.. Busted lip, busted face and then a busted head.. All required hospital or Dr visits.. Thankfully she is all good now and the worst she has done in the past week was give herself a black eye when she fell off her bike when we went camping and then she decided to stick a gumnut up her nose :/ That was interesting but thankfully we got it out with no Drs help

how is everyone elses little munchkins??

Hello Hello! It's so different chatting in here than FB.

Buzzie we had a bath thing going on for a few months and Monique would say she needed to go to the toilet to get out. The only way to get her in was to always have bubbles and a toy she hasn't played with in ages. I was also wondering if she started hating the bath when Amelia started bathing with her. She seems ok now and when I run the bath she comes running in to check that there are bubbles (she went through a phase of hating bubbles on her) and Amelia follows Monique in so pretty good these days. She hates getting her hair washed in the bath but is fine under the shower.

Glad Olivia has gotten over her major incidents so far. We are yet to experience anything bad (touch wood). Monique is so bossy and uses a funny bossy voice and screws her face up. She is doing really well though and talks so much. Amelia is one on Sunday I'm sad as we aren't planning anymore bubbies but I'm also looking forward to the next stage. She is so close to walking and her teeth are finally coming through. They are so adorable together (mostly) but having said that, it was a hellish 4 hours before bedtime tonight. DH and I had to have a GnT to get over it!

Buzzie, I didn't realise you have a name already. Love Isabella.

Gosh one already.. It goes so fast doesn't it.

lol at the GnT. Dh and I often have a Johnny to get over the rough times with our kids

Olivia can be very bossy too. She certainly knows how to get what she wants with her brothers. Jacob doesn' tolerate it though but Ethan and Isaac does whatever she asks

I am deciding what to do today.. I feel better so think I should get up and do some sort of housework,.... or play sick for one more day... hmmmm

    Hi everyone.

Lauren - Olivia still loves her bath (although I agree with Nic, the hair washing is getting loud). Something we have been doing lately for a bit of fun is adding just a little food colouring to her bath to make a 'colour bath'. We let Olivia choose the colour she wants and she gets very excited about the water changing colour. Maybe Ash would like a coloured bath. Ir doesn't stain or anything as you only have to use a little bit.

Tinsel - We have another little bossy girl here. Olivia certainly thinks she is in charge of the household! In saying that though she does have very good manners for a 2 year old and is a lot more trustworthy than some toddlers I know (and some adults ;-D)

Nic - How was your holiday? We are thinking of taking a short break next month but can't decide where we want to go. Warrnambool to see the whales is winning at the moment but the Pandas in Adelaide look cute too and we could stay with family over there so accomodations would be free.

    Got to go. BBL

Alicia: Holiday was great 8 days of nothingness

Kids were awesome. It got pretty cold some nights but we were warm enough. We did have 3 days of drizzly rain but it was nice so it was ok

Olivia and I both came home with some sort of bug. not sick but very clogged up and we both lost our voices. Was great cus Olivia couldn't scream hahahaha..

Now someone has to beat me over the head. I know I can't have anymore kids but this past month I have that urge back. Simon just rolls his eyes I need to find someone with a newborn and get my cuddles out of the way and then hear them cry and say yup Im done hahaha.. Simon said thank god I am fixed up

Alicia - that's a great idea! Funny I thought it would of coloured there skin. I think somethig exciting in his bath or a change is definatly worth a try!

Nic - that cracked me up with the being 'fixed up' comment. It must be hard, can't imagine that stage of definatly knowing there's no more.
Rob told me he wants 3 kids and we joke about it sometimes cos i said I wanted 4 but his theory is 3 fit in a car. Lol
I think I'll wait for a nice fat diamond first LOL

    at the diamond

We use food colouring from time to time as well.. add lots of bubbles and it makes it even more fun

I am ok with no more kids. I think it is a basic human instinct to want more once your youngest reaches a certain age. Apart from Ethan where we had 4 yrs between kids I always had a newborn once the other 2 were aged 2. so to have a 2.5yr old and thats it is weird lol. (maybe I am the weird one???)

How did the coloured bath go Lauren? I've started making DH mix it for Olivia because I am sick oon my hands being a variety of lovely colours!

Tough few days here with my mum in hospital having tests. Poor Olivia was stuck at the hospital with us from 6-10:30 the other night and then for 4 hours the next afternoon. I think I am really lucky that Olivia is such a wonderfully behaved little girl; she happily chatted to everyone, coloured in, read books and played with some toys. I was so proud of her for being good when things were taking ages. My mum is on the mend now (and staying withus for a few days) which is good. Mum thinks Olivia is the best medicine :-)

Hope everyone is doing well. Will check in later!

Alicia - haven't tried yet, need toget some, but we did heaps of gardening the other day so I was so worried I wouldn't be able to bath him after but thankfully I told him he could have a presant if he got in and he did (tho I didn't have a presant so was worries but he soon forgot and I just took him to maccas for nuggets lol)

Sorry to hear about ur mum, well done Olivia tho! I took ash with me to have the glucose test and was very worried but he did so well also. Always good to have drawing things on hand lol!!

Ohh got my end of yr / goodbye dinner next month and Rob and I are staying inthe city for the night WITHOUT Ash!! First time ever I've gone out for the night and he's being babysat!! I'm sooo nervous lol

    Hi Everyone,

Wow this thread is REALLY dead!

I just wanted to jump in and let you all know (if you check the thread) that Olivia is going to be a big sister! We are all excited but particularly Olivia, she keeps kissing the baby (my tummy) and talking about it.

I didn't really want to put this on facebook yet so hopefully you guys check here, otherwise I guess you will see it on facebook eventually.
