Oh Cathie, poor Charlie. Fingers crossed for a pearly one soon.

Charlotte, they seem to know when Mummy has a headache, don't they? Millie seems to know when I have sinus and ramps up the volume accordingly.

Kaz, she can sit on a seat now! She was needing support but now loves to sit on her own. Pic here.

I've been eyeing off Sophie the Giraffe for ages... sounds like I should splash out

Bugger the AR formula here, Millie has started getting refluxy again. It's still mostly silent, but she did chuck on DH yesterday (couldn't help but , it's like the biggest drama in the world... what does he think I've been dealing with for the past 7 months? Poo, wee, drool, snot and spew, that's what!). She's not refusing bottles as such (yet) but is coughing a bit and I'm worried that it's in the post. Best to just ride it out I guess. Kinda wish I had brought nothing but her regular formula in my suitcase... that way we'd have room for all the stuff we're buying Not going overboard, but Millie has 2 new toys and a dirndl (a traditional Bavarian costume - I'm taking her to multicultural day at school this year )

PP - sounds like you are having soo much fun, Poor Millie with the reflux men are funny, Kevin keeps telling people how hard it is with 6 kids I look at him and laugh his at work all day. He comes home at 7.00pm for the dinner and bed time and it's hard.

Hannah is really getting a hang of using her hands. She's grabbing anything near her. Physio has been waiting for to do it for a while, so its good.
No tooth yet. :-( just lots of dribble and sooking.
Eating like a champion!

DP finds it hard when he's home to deal with Hannah. I admit, I sit down when he's home cause I figure "DP's home, I can relax". No such luck. He struggles.
I look after Hannah AND keep the house nice and tidy.
DP can't do either by himself for a whole day, let another BOTH!! He tries, that's the main thing.

Hannah is such a rat! lol. She ALWAYS does a poop now as soon as DP walks out the door for work. Within 5-10 minutes she's pooped.

Off to look at a house to buy tomorrow. Sooo excited.

Phew, found a formula that doesn't smell like dead rats and is actually helping Millie with the reflux. Only sold in 400g containers though so will be frequent buyers!!! They DO have +6 month AR formula here but I'm sticking with the birth one.

Charlotte, sounds like Hannah is doing so well LOL at the poop, with Millie it's a fresh nappy. Doesn't matter what time she wakes up, about 5 mins after we change the first nappy of the day, she'll go. Good luck house hunting!

It's really warm here. We got Millie a brolly for the pram today. She likes it a lot more than having a wrap draped over the pram.

House hunting went well. Put a call into the loan officer and going to start offering $92,000. The house isn't worth anything over 100k and thats about our limit. So we want to start offering low and pray we get it cheap. House owner has recently seperated from DH and has moved to QLD to be with the rest of her family and her new DP.
The house needs work, its a 1940s solid stone house. So there is some cracks that need some work.
Need to put carpet down in the living room as its just a bare concrete floor.
Carpet in the bedrooms, as its just bare floorboards.
The most beautiful brand new bathroom and kitchen you've ever seen.

Although it needs work, its definately a move in and sit down house.
We LOVE the paint in the house. Its all white!!!
Here's our current paint job (we rent so can't paint ourselves).....
Lounge -- bright yellow.
Office --- Purple and green.
Spare room -- Green and purple
Our room -- Blue (best room in the house!!)
Hannah's room -- Yellow, blue and green.
Hallway -- dark green.

They were ON DRUGS!!! Its horrible!!!! All the window frames and skirting boards, door ways, have been only half stripped. So they look like crap.

Hannah's doing good. Very grumpy today. Tooth is very very close.

That's right, food is fun. Up till 12-ish months and definitely at this age, milk is much more important nutritionally. It's better to go slow and let them go at their pace to avoid replacing too much milk with solids. When they're young, they get less out of food. IF you let her decide what and how much she eats, she'll do fine.

i offer her both finger food and blitzed stuff, its far from puree now becasue i know she can handle the lumps and it seems to be working, milk consuption is still the same so hopefully we are on track....

we are all going well here....
had summahs 6mth check up today and she has weighed in at 7.6kg and is 67cm long, right on average!
spoke to MCHN to see what her opinion was on the 6mth formula and she said the only thing is more iron and if im happy with what we are using to stick to it, which was my plan i just wanted to sus her out!
she is very supportive of finger foods to which suprised me but was happy to hear it...

and our first tooth is popping through! its right there and the gum is so rough!

We have made one offer, rejected but the place is still on the market, with another open this weekend. We do love it, so might up the offer a little. We lowballed, but the vendor is holding out for more.

crumpies - our CHN was not ok with finger foods. And mortified that we're not feeding her wallpaper glue/rice cereal (I can't tell the difference?!) especially as we're vegetarian. And we need to have her weighed more often I just count the fat rolls and assume she's fine.

No teeth. No real signs.

DP calling the loan officer back today to work out everything. But, got a call from someone else this morning saying another house is coming up for sale!! :-(
Its a gorgeous house (on the main road unfortunately, with a druggie next door and snakes across the road.....actually no. I don't want it.), with a big extension, new kitchen, laundry, toilet, bathroom, huge bedrooms, reverse cycle aircon into all bedrooms and living room. But they'll want a fortune for that. So, all of a sudden got a bad feeling about that one and not going to pursue it. Phew. Very bad feeling actually. Not to mention that it was my old boss's house and I left their buisness on very bad grounds.
Going to hopefully put the offer in next week or tomorrow depending on what the loan officer says.

We don't feed Hannah farex. Her bowels just can't handle it, they're too sensitive at this point. Just the tinest bit and she's constipated. MCHN wasn't happy about that when Hannah went for injections. But her surgeon is happy, so thats all that matters. So we're sticking to custards, yogurts, fruits and a few veggies.
Her gag reflex is sensitive too. She hates the gels. She gags as soon as they're in her mouth. Maybe they're too slippery or something??

Oohhhh!!! My wedding dress is coming today!! I'm sooo excited!! Hopefully it fits. Wedding shop in Bendigo was going to charge over $750 for a dress, and I found one on eBay that they custom make for under $200.

cant say i can tell the diff between wall paper glue and farex, bellamys baby porrige is much nicer! or so it seems by DD's preferences!

charlotte - the teeth thing is not a premmie thing. Teeth are just one of those wildly swinging variables. Yay for your wedding dress! I made mine. That was an epic job! House, baby, wedding all in one year! That's a bit more excitement than I could handle What a huge year for you.

Hey girls

I really need to have a catch up, sorry I've missed so much. We've come up north cause my SIL and Brother had a baby girl on Monday, her name is Chloe Ann, she's just beautiful, such a little doll.

Prior to leaving we had a few troubles. Jacob broke out in some weird bumps/spots on Saturday night. Sunday morning they were a bit redder so I took him down to the local ambulance officer (we have no hospital in town - it's an hour away) he suggested a trip to the hospital just for peace of mind. The doc over there said it was viral related due to his cold?! strange... not 100% sure that I believe that... I am thinking teething? dry skin from us using the heater too much? who knows. He seems to be clearing up since being up here where its' warmer and I haven't been using a heater I just want my smooth skinned baby back.... He only has spots/bumps on his cheeks, legs and the back of his arms. Any one else had anything similar? I'm thinking of going to another doctor. He doesn't seem distressed or anything.. Can you tell I'm at a loss?
