I am also feeling like a bit of a blob now. Still got a little pot tum, meaning that I can't get into my pre preg clothes, yet the mat clothes just look terrible.
Oh my gosh I hear ya!

Put my pre-preg jeans on and I can get them on but can't do them up

Meg don't feel bad about J... you are doing the best you can

Jols - swap your 2 yo for a threenager

I hear you on the clothes - I have a pouch It looks awful! I put on 20kg and have lost 11 so 9 to go to pre-preg weight and I probably need to lose 5kg on top of that but it is soooo depressing.

Haven't even got near the scales lately.. I was 6kg off my pre-pregnancy weight (but then I was overweight before I got UTD).

DS had a shocking night last night - upset, windy, clingy tried everything to get him to settle - ended up calling DH in to have him so I could get a sleep - poor DH tried bathing and everything to settle. Seemed like DS was booby monster again and everything was going straight through him - huggies nappies just weren't coping. I think it was either the growth spurt or because I had rissoles and onions yesterday - because today (boring food) he's been very settled.

    welcome Ali! woot!!

I still haven't had any visits by the mums and bubs nurse yet, and no sign of mother's groups - so I'm going to contact a kids play group organisation tomorrow and see who I can contact.

Tarkine- Usually your maternal child health nurse organises a new mums group for the new mums in the area, have you had a visit from yours yet or been in contact with them yet? Yeah I been trying to avoid bad foods just in case they are causing unsettledness, will try anything.

AJP- I hear you, we have bedtime play ups here, I actually posted about it in my sep 06 group, Ash just gets so silly and won't co-operate. The other night she had to go to bed with no milk or bedtime story so she been bit better since then. But boy do we look forward to tucking her in!

OP- Have you got carrier or something you could use in the day? Being upright might help with all that screaming. Thats great bout the big gap overnight, so what I want.

Meg- Hopefully you'll get some rest on weekend with J being at grandmas. Its hard isn't it. I been trying whenever Em is asleep to do some activity with Ash, usually something that doesn't require much energy from me like puzzle or coloring, so shes happy she has my attention.

Yes def clothes drama here, nothing fits! Mat clothes too big and my old clothes I can't get past my bum I thought my bum had grown in preg and this confirms it, been wearing trackies!

Must be an age thing, cause exact here, straight after bath or shower it starts. Since having Em, Df has had to take over the bathing of Ash and now he understands why I was getting so frustrated with her at night, fighting to get her PJs on and get teeth brushed.
