shell & AJP, thanks for your advice - I managed to feed on both sides today I'm really proud of both of us and it was a true case of mind over matter (well at the beginning it wasn't but I've kept putting it off telling myself my nipple wasn't ready yet!). Trying to attach was a nightmare though as I was so terrified of doing it wrong I kept pulling back. Not to worry though, it went better than I thought
