    Hiya ladies

Dansta: Busy, busy weekend for you!!! That's great that Daz is so good in the car. *gasp* Evil poster!!!

PJ: Awww, poor Summer being scared of the ferry. I actually have a vague memory of being scared of big boats when I was little - mainly the big scary horn!

AFM: MG yesterday went really well. Ended up having 10 mums show up, so it was quite a packed house. Oliver's new playmat was a big hit with all the bubs. Oliver was a bit cranky though, with all the mums and bubs there... I think he was actually just hungry cause he was fine once I fed him, but naughty mummy didn't realise
All the mums commented how good it was having it at someone's house, as it felt much more relaxed.

Oliver and I had a nice afternoon visiting a friend (my sister tagged along, cause she came home 'sick' from school but my parents weren't home). Oliver was in a good mood for everyone. My friend had found a book at a MIssion Shop, but it was the best book. It's just about colours, but it's got heaps of interactive stuff - touch and feel, flaps to lift, etc. Oliver loves it! We also showed Oliver a piano today, which he enjoyed banging on.
Tomorrow Oliver and I are off to playgroup for the first time - should be fun.

Hope everyone is well - we have been very quiet recently, haven't we. Busy lives with young bubs sometimes .

Well, been a long day already,Summer was grumpy all morning i knew she was tired but she wouldnt go back to sleep but finally about 10.30 she did,i actually ordered a baby thing off line,i know shes fine at sleepuing at night(slept from 8 til 7.15 last night)but shes no good with day sleeps she just wont and gets all cranky, wont play or anything!!!!so i think i need something,my friend thinks she has a self settling issue but then why does she sleep so well at night?i mean its great i know i shouldnt complain but its still exhausting with out a break in the day at al you know?

PJ: Yeah, definitely look into a MG or something similar! Before I started mine I had the other girls here gushing about theirs, and I totally get why now. Honestly, once you have that regular mummy time you'll wonder how you ever got by without it. Even if you try a playgroup or something - anything with other mums that you can chat to. And Summer will love interacting with other bubs - Oliver loves it - even if just to sit and stare at them .
Awww, that sucks about Summer's sleep (or lack there of).I hope she sleeps better soon.

AFM: Oliver and I went to playgroup this morning for the first time. It was okay - just a big hall, heaps of toys and kids running around everywhere. There were a few other mums with babies, so I sat with them. There was a 10 month old girl who has just started crawling, so I told Oliver to pay very close attention, lol. There was also a 4.5 month old, and a 6 week old bub (though he looked much, much older and bigger). Oliver's girlfriend Ella was also there .

Also, Oliver has started waving! At the end of playgroup we were standing outside watching the other kids play, and I noticed him making waving movements. So, I waved to Oliver, and he'd wave back. And now he keeps doing it! I visited my Dad afterwards, and my Dad would wave and Oliver would wave back. He'll do it in the mirror too. So cute!

Sleep still sucks here... but that's nothing new. Last night he went down at 7pm, woke at 10pm and didn't go back down till 11.45pm . Oliver is still up 3 times a night, but at least he's going down for all his day sleeps without too much trouble.

    Hope everyone is well .

Hiya ladies - how is everyone enjoying their weekend?

Moose: How did the move go??? We miss you!

AFM: We have MIL and BIL visiting this weekend, though Oliver hasn't seen them yet cause he's been asleep since before they arrived.
Oliver is getting closer and closer to crawling. I'm not sure how close, but he can get from sitting to his knees, and when he's on his knees he rocks like crazy, and has managed to inch one knee forwards slightly. Might be time to baby proof the house!

Mainly I just came on to say hello - we've been so, so quiet on here - I miss all my baby buddies!!! How are you all?
