PJ: You poor thing! That sounds awful! It does sound like she might have a bit of a cold. When Oliver had a cold, I used Fess Little Noses to help clear his nose out so he could breathe better - you can get it from the chemist. It has this saline spray you spray up their noses, then there's this other thing that you use to suck the snot out. It's probably easier if you have someone else there to help. That helped us heaps! I have heard of other people using humidifiers when their bubs have sniffly noses.
We used panadol when he had a fever, and had the TV on a lot to try and distract him as much as possible.
Hope that helps Good luck.
Dansta: Woohooo! Yay about the official BFP! Pooh to the GP though - it's not too soon, it's whenever you are ready! Congratulations again! I am so happy, and quite looking forward to seeing a pregnant avvy and a pregnancy ticker!!! How are you feeling so far?
Peach: Lol about the caterpillar finger! How cute .
The book pack is by Let's Read, (website Let's Read) - a reading initiative thing for 0-5 years. It has a book (I Went Walking), a DVD where books are read, and a few fact sheets giving you hints and tips for reading to your baby. I think it's a nationwide thing - you get them through your MCHN.
I hope you have a better night with Winter tonight.
Have fun in Melbourne!
Raver: Hey - nice to see you around still How are you these days?
