Peach: To answer your questions...
I think I like MG better than playgroup right now, as I know more mums and all the babies are close to Oliver in age, but when Oliver is older I can imagine playgroup will be better. Our playgroup is basically just a big hall with heaps of toys and paint stations, etc set up. Nothing flash, but the kiddies love it.
The pool is indoors (there are outdoor pools too, but they're not finished yet). There actually aren't too many people when I go on Friday mornings - I think week day mornings aren't busy, but weekends are very busy!
I'm thinking of moving the change mat on the floor soon - Oliver has tried to roll a few times, but not much yet thank goodness. That's so cute that Winter can get back onto her butt now, and that she's there sitting in her cot! Oliver can't quite do that, but honestly - I give him a couple of days, he's so close! Oliver can pull himself to standing aswell - oh and he 'walks' if you hold his arms - so, so cute! And he looks so proud of himself!
We are planning on getting gates to close off our kitchen, everywhere else we can just close the door. The other main thing we have to do is move cords, cause at the moment we have powerboards out in the open. We also need to attach our curtain cords to the wall/window frame.
Our nights are still the same. Last night was a good night - only 2 wake ups! The night before that was shocking - 4 (or was it 5) wake ups. It's all very hit and miss. I used to at least get good day sleeps from Oliver, but that's gone too in the past few days.
OMG - are we living the same life??? So am I - though I didn't say anything cause I highly doubt I am pg! AF hasn't returned for me yet, but DH and I were very naughty
- and you never know! I doubt I am UTD, but I'm still gonna test in another week or so to be sure.
Nice talking to you Peach![]()
