Pj: lol yep, why must they grab the pram?!?! my baby, my pram. mind you DH and DJ look sooooo differant if he pushes it he gets funny looks (DJ = blue eyes blonde hair. DH= Dark brown hair brown eyes) lol.
Peach: OOO you never know! i thought i'd get a BFN when i tested one BFN then about 5 days later a faint BFP that just got darker and darker! wonder into the conception part - they have some pritty good ways to help get that BFP (i can PM you with something found helpful, both with the TTC & labour LOL)
Sterla: LOL you never know! but i have to admit that DH and I didnt bother protection - to annoying to brake that whole "moment" putting a dinger on his dong! lol.
Moose: nothing wrong with playing with fire, all the more fun!
AFM: been a busy weekend. had my sisters house warming last night. DJ was a hit with the ladies!but i was soo tired by the end. (no one knows yet ) but im glad on still on my P's "sorry cant drink - driving home" which was an easy way out. so i've told DH of a new "rule" "no nanna nap, no functioning dan mmmk" lol seems to have worked. had a 'nanna mammoth nap' and i feel good lol. Soo looking forward to not this week but next - MELBOUNE CUP DAY! we're having a BBQ which hopefully we'll tell our friends about bundy (last few times i've seen most of them i've been getting stuck into the boose LOL) but we'll see. you know the bad thing? i'm looking forward to all that maternity clothes again! best jeans EVER lol
hope every one is having a relaxing day
Haha Dansta, I still wear most of the maternity shirt cause yes they are so comfy. My mat pants don't fit me anymore though but in the end I was so huge and it was so hot that I wore skirts most of the time. Thats a great thing about being on your p's and the not driving excuse. Is so hard when your friends are used to you having a couple ( or more ;-) I love the nanna nap rule! LOL I am not pg and I still need to nap sometimes between chasing my little monster and looking after a house ( been living in a unit for so long. cleaning the house takes way longer!!)
AFM, We had a nice week-end, Sammy's G-father came around for a visit and does some photography as a hobby and took some awesome photos of Sam. Mate, I don't know how the professionals do it in studios, sheesh, we spent 3/4 of our time chasing Sammy to try and keep her still for a shot or 2! lol Yesterday, we had friends of DH who came over to show us their newborn, who is 4 weeks old. She is cutie and slept nearly the whole time they were here ( about 4 hours!) It made me miss the newborn days, of them sleeping, being awake for 10 minutes and back to sleep again for another 4! Awwww... but I would not change it, I really enjoy watching Sam nowadays, I know I have said this already but man they learn SO quick...Sam just started shufflinh around now whilst standing, she moved down 1/2 the lenght of the tv cabinet..so honestly, am expecting her to start wlking pretty soon. Unfortunately, she has also taken to biting. I posted a thread to get some advice as we want to nip this in the bud, DH was a biter as a child and looks like our lil monster is follwoing in DH's footsteps. This week will be quiet, got to make couple phone calls to the EC centre to find out about MG's but I might check out some playgroups too this week if the weather fines up.
moose: i admitedly havent warn a mat. top since DJ was...3 days old? but im looking forward to them (all though most of mine where 'normal' clothes that streched ) loving sammys ticker!
any 's? i want some one else to to UTD with meeeee! hehe.
AFM: booked in at the hospital. but i dont see them untill 12 weeks. DJ is 'talking' more. i swear he almost said "give mine" today, but i may be a wee bit crazy! he's almost got the whole crawling things. he just needs to work out how to move one arm, whilest holding the other still and not rolling over on to it! he looks like the proverbial one winged bird atm trying to crawl!
Ohh and guess what? i manged to get SUN BURNT! not too badly. but its annoying! and it was only 22?C yesterday too! come summer i'm going to look like a cooked prawn!
Hope every one is having a good day!
Dansta: Sorry - no news from me - going to wait a few more days before I POAS. That's great that you're all booked into the hospital, etc - it all really starts happening then! Do you think you will have a scan then to get an accurate due date? I remember the 12 week scan with Oliver was when it really hit me that there was actually a baby in there!
Go DJ - it won't take long and he'll be off! Then watch out mummy Dansta! Oliver has only been crawling for a little over a week, and already I am always moving him away from things. You turn your back for one second, and off Oliver has gone to play with DH's motorbike helmet, or the TV cabinet doors (he's worked out how to open them), or a not-very-friendly cat ! Lol - fun, fun.
Moose: Wow, Sammy sounds very advanced . She sound like she definitely keeps you busy!
AFM: I can't remember if I mentioned it, but I went to a Tassie BB meet up on Sunday. A few other Tassie BB members and their partners and kids all met up at a town about 40 mins from where I live. Don't know if any of you have heard of Arimeh on here, but she is in Tassie now, so she was there, as well as 3 other members. It was great - a nice day for it, and all the other BBers were really friendly. One woman has 3.5 month old twin girls, awwww .
Yesterday was a very quiet day for Oliver and I - we just hung around home which was nice for a change. This morning we went to the Teddy Bear's Picnic at the city park - it was okay, but a bit overcrowded and disorganised, and Oliver is probably a little young for it. I did get a balloon for Oliver though - and he loves it! This afternoon I am off to my MG which will be nice. Actually, I should probably get ready to go to that...
