Right - Oliver is finally down asleep, so I can catch up here.

Dansta: That's no good about teething . Poor DJ. Is he going any better now? Any new teeth to report? I think Oliver might be teething, though it's only a guess. I'm pretty sure I spotted some bumpy white gums, and he's been a bit out of sorts today, but I really don't know - that's the only signs I have.
That's so funny about the rabbit - sounds cute.
I can't believe you're 8 weeks pg already! How are you going?

PJ: That's so annoying about your computer. Mine still does the weird thing when I'm typing, but I'm sort of used to it now, so I don't notice as much anymore. (lol, while I was typing that I realised that I type without looking at the keyboard - go me! ).
Yay - go Summer - sounds like she's doing well with rolling and being up on her hands and knees. See! She will get there!

Moose: Hope you and Sammy are feeling better - colds suck!!! And the hot weather - you poor thing. I don't deal well with hot weather - I get so lethargic and grumpy... just as well I live in Tassie, lol.

Peach: Yay!!!! Woohoo!!! Go Winter - sleeping through 4 nights in a row, that is awesome for you! Now, can she just tell Oliver how to do it please? I'm all for feeding/rocking to sleep - that's all I do, and my and Oliver's lives are much more peaceful and much less stressful for it.
Awww, the beach sounds nice . We haven't taken Oliver yet, but I'm sure we will over the summer when DH finally takes some time off... Our weekends are so busy seeing family and friends that we never get a chance to do stuff as a family.

AFM: (and to answer all your questions Peach ) The book I'm reading is called Asking For Trouble - it's just a chic lit book by a British author - nice, light and fluffy for my tired brain! The Art of Happiness sounds great . Yup, I finished the Twilight series months ago - I read them very quickly! I'll probably re-read it one day. I want to see New Moon when it comes out too.
DH and I didn't end up doing anything for our anniversary - but we have our wedding anniversary later this month (day before my birthday), so we might just do something then - it will probably just be going out for lunch. I haven't found a nappy bag yet - but my mum knows that's what I want, and she knows where to get them from... not sure what's happening, but I'm sure I'll get one.
Oliver is sleeping okay - two wake ups the last few nights which is good for us.

We had a night away over the weekend for my mum's birthday. We drove to Devonport (an hour away from us) and went out for tea. Before we left Oliver was just starting to get tired, so I thought he'd sleep on the drive and be all refreshed for going out for tea... Wrong! He didn't sleep, was grumpy towards the end of the drive. Then once we got to the hotel I thought - well, I'll feed him and he'll fall asleep easily cause he's so tired, then he can have a sleep and be all refreshed for going out for tea... Wrong! He was too interested in the new surroundings to want to feed properly and for long enough to fall asleep. So, we went out for tea with a very, very tired little boy. He did surprisingly well though - was not his normal, happy self, but wasn't hugely cranky either... We got back to the hotel after tea and he had a feed and fell asleep very easily then. By the time he got to bed he'd been awake for 8.5 hours!!! Needless to say, he slept very well that night.
We went out for breakfast with everyone the next morning, and got home by midday. It was so exhausting though... I really find trips away so stressful. I shouldn't, cause I have such a good-tempered baby... but I honestly felt like I needed another weekend to recover... I'm still recovering now!

A quiet week for us this week. No MG, no playgroup, a friend I usually see has gastro...

Hope everyone is well... Now Oliver has woken up... that wasn't a long enough sleep *sigh*

Why no meet ups for you guys this week Sterla?
Far out, I can believe Oli can go so long without sleeping!! 8.5hrs??!!
Can you PM me the end of twilight? I only read up to new moon, far too angsty for me
I know what you mean about seeing everyone and not having time for family, its so important to have time to yourselves too. Im slowly learning to say no to people if I want time just with us three... its not easy though, esp when the granparents live an hour away and never see Bub.
    Im slowly melting......so.....hot.....
