ello laidies!
sterla: LOL at Oli hiding the keys on you - training you for when he's 18 and wants to drive eh?
AFM: my birthday went off ok. minus the fact the beer fridge sh.!.T its self. it was pouring out HOT air! haha. so we had eskys, a car fridge and a clam shell pool keeping drinks cold oh and it rained - but i didnt care. DJ was really good, my aunt and cousin took him out with the speechs due to some "happy" people cheering. i will admit i was a little let down with my dad speech and my sisters- but hers was due to her *not* understanding that a DVD player cant read powerpoint files :wall: but hey, it was good. a good friend of mine had me in tears with the DVD she made up - a video of DJ in the humidi crib with "the climb" by Miley Cirus made me lose it  but in a good way. other then that it was good. got some nice things off people. a good watch of my folks and a lovely braclett of my aunt and uncle. a whole lotta gift cards - so i bought a Diggi cam with it - its not quite an SLR but in the middle (FUJI S1600 ) it was $270 with a 4GB Sd card - and soon on FB i'll upload the photos - once April 1 rolls around LOL. but i got some wonderful photos of DJ and Muss yesterday and today! speaking of muss he's home! :leap: we picked him up on sunday. but as always mummy is the "bad" one as i get up at 6am with DJ muss has to have his meds (pain killer and AB's) and im the BAD one because i give them both to him. but the AB i crush into a powder and add water - much easier to syringe 10Ml of AB powder in water then shove half a tablet in his mouth (he is 9.3Kg after all!) and then 0.7ml of pain killer. needless to say by 3pm he'll be talking to me lol, but at 6pm i'll have to give him his other lot of AB's! haha! plus DH has started work with my cousins as my cousins brother (ok, cousins BIL...but my family is HUGE lol) walked out on them, so DH is filling in for a while (til bundy is due) to help them out and make it a little easier on us. which works both ways. i had my GCT the other day and it came back high but the MW side it may have been due to the cr@p i'd been eating with muss at the vets. so off to do the GTT before my next appt. (which will be april 17th..so i'll do it 3 days before that) to make sure its all good. but the MW i saw saterday delivered DJ - well assisted - and i found out the main MW was "Sh.!.ting her self" when i wanted to birth in the water - as she hadn't done a water birth in almost 3 years! but with bundy if i want to birth in the water but its the 'wrong bath' i know how to get around it - stand up!- ..well thats what the MW told me, heh. ohh and she thinks bundy is a boy going off the heart beat.
in other good news a good friend of mine had her baby on sunday! she'd lost a little girl almost two years ago at 18weeks. so having her 'forever' baby is wonderful! little boy lockie 7lb2oz and 51 cm long! and a full head of DARK hair! he looks like his daddy, who when he and my friend were over at our place over christmas was just amazed at DJ and kept saying "this will be me in a few months, i'll have a little man all of my own too" ...but his little man has dark hair! hehe.
...wow...that ended up longer then i thought  hope every one is having a good day!
..ohh and whats every one doing for easter? we bought DJ a small egg (we'll eat 90% of it lol) and some bunny ears.
-
Dansta: Glad you had a great birthday - minus the fridge dying, the rain and the not-as-good-as-hoped speeches. The camera sounds awesome! I really want a new camera (preferably SLR) one day - I love the photos they produce.
:leap: And that is so, so great that your beloved Muss cat is home! I hope he makes a full recovery very soon.
Haha, that's so funny about the MW crapping herself! Can't believe how far along you are with Bundy now - it feels like only yesterday you got you BFP.
As for easter for us - we're not doing anything as far as giving eggs, etc, since we're pretty broke. For now we've decided we won't give Oliver any chocolate. We may have DH's dad and his partner up either on Friday or Saturday, then we have easter breakfast on Sunday with my parents, an easter egg hunt on Sunday afternoon (with a couple of Mels from BB) and Monday DH's mum is up - so we're very busy!
AFM: Just came home from Rock & Rhyme at the library - it's really not what it used to be. The songs are all fine - it's just so hard going now with Oliver walking. He just wants to get down and walk around and wander off - so I'm constantly having to run after him. Today he kept going behind the serving desk! Still, it's a nice chance to catch up with a couple of mums from my MG.
We had a rough night a couple of night's ago. Oliver has a slight cold (basically a snotty nose and cough), and so I got up to feed him around 1pm when he woke. He'd been feeding for a while, then he started coughing, and he coughed so hard he vomitted up everything he had just had. All over me, all over him! So, I put him in his cot while I cleaned myself up, then I cleaned him up, the I had to change his cot sheet. Then, because the light had been on, etc, he had woken up quite a bit. Wouldn't let me rock him to sleep, so I went to lounge room to try feeding him again. He fed for a while, then coughed and vomitted all over him and me again! So, another round of cleaning up. Then tried to get him to sleep in our bed - he wouldn't, thought it was a big game. Rocked him for ages, still wouldn't sleep - so, finally decided to risk feeding him again, then he finally drifted off. I think I was up with Oliver for about 3.5 hours. Not nice.
Oh, and the biggest thing that has happened here recently... DH, Oliver and I went to visit my parents on Sunday afternoon (they live a 2 minute drive away). We arrived and got into their kitchen/dining, and there was someone sitting there. It took me a few seconds to register who it was - but it was my aunty from Denmark (my mum's sister). No one knew she was coming - she arrived at the airport and sent a text to my mum telling her to put the coffee on and come and pick her up! So, that was a big surprise! We hadn't seen her since 2003 when she over when my grandfather had cancer.
She is staying until my grandmother leaves to go to Denmark later in April, and then flying back with her.
Anyway, I better go do some house work I suppose. I hope you're all well :)

 heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeloo out there!
we're all quiet arent we?!?
how'd every one pull up after easter?
we've been semi busy here. DJ crawling around like a mad man. but the upside he seems to (at the moment lol) understand "NO" and "come back here" which is good. he's also loving being outside more. yeah, its colder here but with DH home and working out side we rug him up and let him crawl around on the concreet out side - "helping" DH of course! but i have been helping too! im not sure what it is with me being UTD but i go all handy-women! with DJ i helped DH and FIL build the pergola we have outside...dispite them not wanting me up and down ladders i still did it! and helped DH cut up the wood (DJ still has no issues with power tools sounds) with bundy? stipping back wheels for our old holden. DH wanted them sanded back but i thought "stuff this" and started attacking them with a metal brush - which $h!t its self - DH thinks it was 10 years old lol, so off to bunnings i went and bought a new set of brushes and spray paint (god it was a good look at 5:30pm on a saterday night buying three tins of spray paint!) and stipped most of it back - bundy happy to kick me every now and again too. then sunday DH finished them off (im not the most delicate person...) and i spraied on the primer for them...fairly badly i might add - as the consept of spraying AROUND and not ACROSS just did not compute. i blame bundy! other then that not much. Oh i did take our Muss cat to the vet to have his stiches out. boy was he not happy with me for taking him back to the vet - he wouldnt even talk to the reseptionest! haha. i have my GTT tomorrow as well - seeing as i failed the GCT. but me thinks that was due to the block of chocolate the day before (thanks muss!) so this time i should be all good. i have a midwife appt. on saterday so i get to hear bundys heart beat again - and meet another midwife - last time i met the other one who helped deliver Dj! its strange that in 11ish weeks we'll have a newborn again...time flys too fast!
-
 Thanks Dansta for posting. I was just thinking the other day that I should post here, see if anyone is around :).
Dansta: I know I say it every time, but I can't believe you're 30 weeks already! You seriously are having this baby soon, huh!?!
That's great about DJ crawling everywhere. I know what you mean about them loving outside. Oliver is obsessed with going outside. As soon as he hears me mention anything about going out he walks over to the door and waits for me, lol! I wish we had a decent backyward - ours is all overgrown and uneven - not ideal for little people (though probably very interesting).
I hope your GTT results come back all clear :crossfingers:
Glad to hear you're well.
Anyone else out there???
AFM: We are good here. Oliver is still sleeping better (usually only up once a night), but persisting with having only one 1.5 hour sleep a day! That paired with his 5am starts make it all a bit hard sometimes.
Oliver has had a heap of new teeth come through recently, including 2 (almost 3 molars). The third is just about through (it may already be through, hard to tell), and the fourth is there bulging under the gum. And the best bit - he got all these teeth without any fussing whatsoever! I don't know if it's the amber teething necklace working it's magic, or if Oliver is just a good teether, but I'm very happy about it either way :).
Oliver is so much of a toddler now - there doesn't seem to be any traces of baby left . It's all fun though - he understands so much, and is flat out blabbering away about who knows what. He says lots of words, none very clearly though. Oh, and he is obsessed with books. He'd spend all day just bringing me book after book to read him if I let him. He's definitely got his favourites though.
And with all this fun toddler stuff is coming all the not-so-fun stuff too - no tantrums here yet, but he knows what he wants, and has a good old whinge if we take something off him or pick him up when he wants to go somewhere. He's pretty good for the most part, but to be quite honest I am quietly crapping myself about the next few years and how I'm going to be as a parent handling a toddler. Deep breathe.
Anyway, I should go. I hope everyone is well. Would love to hear from you all :)

OMG girls I am so sorry I have been majorly MIA! with doing school and all my homework as well as looking after the 3 boys and df and myself I have no time to scratch my butt!!!
Well Master L is now walking ful on and won't even think of crawling! He also now sits in a big chair at the table and eats dinner with us!!!
how are all the other bubbas???
-
Hi ladies!!So sorry im sooo slack.Im just finding it a bit hard lately not hard in a really bad way like im loving being a mum just finding time for things but i miss being on here alot and all the advice!!Not too much to report here, summers still not walking shes walking around the furniture alot and if i hold her hand but she still seems quite clueless lol.Her Ezcema has been really good,I'm wondering if the swimming in chlorine made it worse coz since i've stopped shes been really good, saying that the new cream has helped!I wanted to do some personals so i'll do some today and some tomorrow maybe?
Sterla-So glad you said about Oliver loving the outside Summers the same she loves it,she will quite happily play nearly all day out there!!Wow how awesome about all those teeth coming without much drama!Summers been really wingy lately not sure why maybe more teeth, shes only got 5.
Dansta-I cant believe either you dont have long to go,how are you feeling not too tired?Wow another bub,ive been thinking about it alot more lately!!
moose-thanks for that!!i think its getting better now phew poor kid it was sooo bad!!poor you with the tannys!Summers been the same but seems to also getting better
sorry ladies i have a nagging Dh here haha be back soon to finish hope everyones well
-
Hey PJ!
 Sorry you're having a hard time. I know how you feel. When Oliver went through that really bad patch with his sleeping, I found it really hard to enjoy being a mum. But it passed and now I am absolutely loving it again! Hang in there, you'll be fine :).
What have you and Summer been doing lately?
Dansta: Surely you can't be 32 weeks already!?!?!!? I can't believe how close Bundy's entrance to the world is! How are you coping?
How is everyone else doing? Don't hear much from you all anymore :(.
AFM: What to tell you all? Oliver is going great! He now has his first set of molars (11 teeth in all now), though I'm pretty sure he's still teething - I think his eye teeth might be on the way.
He is talking heaps more - not that I can understand what he's saying, lol. But he is always busy chatting away. Oh, and he's really getting into his songs and nursery rhymes. He does the actions to If You're Happy and you know it, Incy Wincy, Open Shut Them... so, so cute!
I have joined a gym! Arimeh, me and another girl all joined together for this one month trial thing. It has free child care, so on Monday we went and Oliver went into child care for the first time ever. He has never been left with someone he doesn't know before. He was fine when we got there and just wandered off to play, so I felt okay to leave... The class we took was about an hour. When we got back I could hear Oliver crying :( He wasn't hysterical, but he was very, very upset. I asked the girl there, and apparently he'd actually been fine for all but the past 10 minutes, which is pretty good. It was so heartbreaking to see him that upset though (we had a long, long cuddle together when I picked him up). We're going back tomorrow, so I really hope he goes okay.
Anyway, I too have a nagging DH, so I better go, lol
-
SD: oo school work? are you a teacher or studying? go Master L gooooo!
Pj:  glad summers Ezcema has cleared up! i know from so-r-i-sus (lol sound it out, i cant spell the stupid word!) that going in public pools can flear it up a fair bit - i suffer from it i had it (when it was bad) at the back of my head, belly button and my woohaaar. but since DJ its only been the back of my neck (thank god! cus the latter of the three drove me up the friggin' wall!!) DJ isnt walking eather sweets  and semi cruseing around the ferniture, hes more happy to 'walk' when we're holding his hads. as he's very hesitant in holding onto anything else and trying as he's fallen a few times and is now scared of falling again. you're doing a good job!
sterla: OO the gym! last time i joined one of them DJ arrived 10 months later  im glad you have people to go with - i dont have any IRL friends who are SAHMS now - the last one is back to work next week :( im glad Oli did good though - even if the last 10mins he was a little gizzly. im sure he'll end up getting upset leaving!
I'll be back tomorrow for an update - Kitchen Nightmeres is on! heh
-
morning ladies!
had to watch kitchen night mares last night. ahh makes DH and I smile!
as for us. DJ has started to pull himself to standing more and more :leap: which is wonderful, he's crawling like a mad ninja (lol) and just growing too fast. he's also talking alot more his new lot of words is "mum mum mum mum muuuuuuum" as well as "blah blah blah blah" which is quite cute. he loves DH is home more now too and will "play" (gental) "rough" with DH which is really cute! he's also taken to "patting" the cats, the cats take a few "pats" then jump up on to the nearest chair, they've never once stuck out at DJ which is also good, but i know when he hits 3 or 4 they may do. also about two weeks ago i had a "fall out" with my folks, mainly my mum over DJ and his development. as she's a stupid women at times who is trying to act more like a mother to DJ then an GRAND mother. :wall: but in a way it was good, i've found i've changed my mind set alot. i am no longer looking at what DJ isnt doing - but what he is. like his reflux, he threw up twice yesterday - both times it was really, really small (like size of a 50cent piece) which going back 12 months was never even thought of it was huge puddles of it! i'm no longer allowing her negative input in. he's growing, he's happy and he's getting there in his own time- no one can change who he is and we need to work with his strengths rather then focus on his weaknesses!
as for bundy baby things are going good. its strange being 32 weeks! this one is an active little mite when i lay down. which is good but bad for sleeping. my strech marks arent too bad - mainly just grown some
but this arvo i have my sisters graduation and its annoying 'cus DJ was a summer bub i have NO nice winter tops! i'm already wearing jeans  as all my other mat. pants "roll down" which is not noice. ohh and today i get to find out what the sex of my cousins twins are! :leap: i cant wait. i feel a boy and a girl - with the girl being a little bigger then the boy. DH thinks two girls. now i better go do the dishes and work out what im going to wear!!
-
Hi again ladies dont think i'll ever catch up properly so i apologise and i'll just keep going from here!
Sterla-Godd on you for joining the gym that sounds great,id love to or at least go for a walk or something but i'd prefer to go with other mums so I think thats great!!Hope Oliver enjoys the child minding there,my SIL said she had the same with her little girl for a while but is ok now, think Summer would do the same except straight away shes really funny about people she doesnt know lately. Thanks for the info about the playgroup I really feel she needs one!
Dansta-I cant believe summers the same,I feel she could probably even walk if she wasnt so scared shes fallen a few times so is now a bit tooo scared i think but shes doing the same around the furniture and with our hands, shes been given a walky thing to push along and the poor little thing(altho im laughing whilest telling coz it was sooo funny)stood up with it soon as i got it home and then promptly fell over sideways!!haha the walker aswell.Think that scared her and now shes like ooooh scarey thing!!I like you need to focus on what she is doing rather than isnt,i am awful I know but sometimes I feel embaressed coz shes not walking coz everyones like HUH???But she will get there she was late crawling too and like Dj is a mad ninja too!
well it feels so good to get on here im just going to have to keep it up,so my news....nothing too much, still struggling with Summer being wingy,it seems shes never happy lately poor thing i mean she is but for short bursts its like she wants me and attention all the time but i know it will get easier, with not having her swimming anymore im thinking of starting a playgroup(yes finally)i think she will really benefit she just loves other people especially kids and i think it would be good for her developement etc so i'll go with that for now and meanwhile just try to keep her as entertained as possible i think too she gets frustrated as theres things she'd liked to be doing and that but cant too.Nothing else much,i got my hair cut quite short and still havent found the nack with it I also got some darker foils which i like better.Nothing much else but I'll keep up to date more on here.Hope everyones goodxxxx
-
Hey girls
Dansta: Sounds like DJ is going really well, and you're exactly right - he will get there in his own time! He sounds perfectly fine to me - happy, healthy and learning new things every day! You have been such a great mum to DJ, standing up for him and believing in him with all this trouble from your mum .
I'm glad Bundy is going well - wow, 8 weeks to go (or 2 months). That is so soon! What do you think you might be having? A little brother or little sister for DJ? Isn't it going to be nice to watch DJ with a younger sibling :).
How was your sister's graduation?
PJ: Definitely get out there walking or whatever. In my city there are actually pram walking groups, surely there'd be something like that where you are? Or you could even try and meet some BB girls and walk with them? There are heaps of BB girls in QLD.
 Sorry you're still having a hard time with Summer being whingy. Oliver has actually become a little bit like that recently, but I think it may be his eye teeth starting to bother him. His amber necklace has been great so far, but I have heard that the eye teeth are the worst. I saw Arimeh's oldest girl when she was getting her eye teeth, and she was miserable (even with an amber necklace).
Definitely look into playgroup. Oliver loves going! Ours is basically just a big hall with a bunch of toys and the kids just run around, but it's great fun for them. I think I found out about mine through a mum from my MG. It's a 10 minute walk from my house too which is good! :)
AFM: Well, went back to the gym on Wednesday. It was so, so awful and hard leaving Oliver, cause this time he started crying when I left, and it's the most heartbreaking cry ever :(. We were away for about an hour and a half having our personal program organised. When we got back Oliver wasn't crying exactly - whimpering might be a better description, but I could tell he had been crying. I asked the girl though, and she said that he actually did settle down after I left when she got out his grapes, and then it had only been in the last 5 minutes where he'd become upset again - so that's really good. Now what would be good would be if I could come back to him and see him playing quietly and happily so I have actually seen that he can be happy there!
I am actually going to the gym tonight after Oliver has gone to bed. He goes to bed around 7-7.30pm, and I am going at 8 while DH stays home. We are going to work out, then swim some laps, then go in the sauna! Should be good :).
Not much other news. Oliver is mainly good, just a little whingier than normal.
Hope you're all well. So good to see some life in this thread again :D.
-
Pj- DJ is also been Sir Whinge alot. i think its his teeth, the gums at the back of his mouth look swollen :( as for summer being bored, thats like DJ. as my MG kinda went "****" i only see one mum -but she's back at work on monday  but im also thinking of finding a play group to join, i need some more mummy friends - as 90% of mine have gone since having DJ.
ooo where are the photos on FB with your new do eh eh eh? i wanna see. when i have my hair short i LOVE waring head wraps. mind you i got asked once if i was born in australia doing that - dispite my RED hair and almost opapace-im-that-pale-skin look
sterla: how was the gym? did you have a nice relaxing time? how did Oli go with DH (if he woke up at all that is!)
AFM: well my sisters graduation was about as exciteing as watching paint dry. the only part that was semi interesting was me getting pushed by the mob of people behind me into the thingy it was held in. ohh and also being told that myself and my aunt didnt have tickets...but we did. Ohh and it turns out my cousin is having twin girls! :pinkcheer: which is really nice for them. at least if bundy is a boy i can give them pink jump sutes i've bought  Ohh the interesting thing about the graduation was the early development speaker person they had...with all the cr@p thats been happening with my mum it was nice to hear about the three types of stress...and after it i pointed out taht CIO was "a toxic stress" {insert evil laugh here}. ohh and DJ is going well too. he's trying to pull himself up on things more - with out DH or I being there to climb up. he's also almost sitting - as in he props himself up one handed still (think sexy man on the beatch LOL) but hes almost there sitting which DH and I are happy about.
now for a little whinge about my mother
i'm really annoied at her. as always (so it feels) as with my sisters graduation i had to pay for my ticket, now that wouldn't annoy me at all BUT i got told on monday night (first told about it the thursday before) that it'd cost me $$. now yes, DH isn't really 'working' much now, i have my FTB as "my" money which i spend on DJ for food/nappies/clothes/gas for my car and i try and save $30 a week. so that i have some money for things i may need/want/unexpeceted expences and what not. i was going good. i had $25 left over (from what i'd worked out) but now? i have $10. because i didnt know about the ticket price i've not been able to save this week (i was planning to start the whole budget thing as a start to the new month ya know?) and DH is angry becuase they've done nothing much to help us out. and on wednesday night mum was not happy she wouldnt "get to see the baby this week" 'cus DH and I wanted a night at home, glad to see she wants to see DH and I
hope every one is having a good night/weekend!
-
dansta-haha you make me laugh!!about the head wrap thingand your sisters graduation!!!i feel the same I need to find other mums we dont have many friends who have kids well i mean most of ours we see often dont so i feel for summer she gets so bored which im sure will only get worse so im really looking for a playgroup or even another mum or few who have kids.Too be honest because ive been sooo not sure about my new do that i havent been game to put any photos up,i know i know sounds vain but you know what i mean.
Sterla-I admire you so much for going to the gym is it hard to get motivated?Lately ive just had no energy i think i would find it hard but i still would like to do it,thanks for the info on the pram walking group i think i have heard of it now you mention!
sorry its not much of a post or reply to yours im sooo tired tonight for somereason i havent stopped today!I think ive worked out why summers been a bit wingey,i found a tooth not tuesday gone one before and then last night i found another and then just before another one so maybe there all coming at once and hurting a wee bit, shes still highly strung and that but what can you do guess shes got go hey?Oh and shes actually been standing all on her own i cant beleive it like she will be on florr and she will stand up from there for few secs totally on her own unreal exciting!Anyway thats about it i might go relax while shes in bed yah
-
Woweee its been aaaages! How is everyone going?
Sterla that is so fantastic you have joined a gym I bet you feel like a new woman! I know its so hard leaving them hey but it gets easier and I think it makes a huge difference when you pick them up and they are happy. I really freak if when I leave Piglet she is crying I cant handle it.Going to the gym with friends is great too you can all motivate each other. Glad to hear Oli is well and getting those teeth out :)
PJ thats exciting Summer is standing on her own, not too long now and she will be running around like mad :) I hear you about the whinging, its pretty bad in this house too atm with Piglet having cut her 4 molars and not I think there is one on the front side coming up.
Things here have been pretty good, to be honest its been so long since Ive posted I think Id be here forever trying to remember everything! Jiggles is running around like a mad little thing and she copies most things I say, she tells me when she wants "breakfast" and knows cat, dog, bird, and the noises they make and actually points them out if we see them which is cute. She loooves birds. She is so easily frustrated though and was sick last week, it was pretty horrible.
Hello to everyone hope your all well, will try and be back a bit more often this month :)
-
Hey Peachy-babes! So nice to hear from you!!! :D
Great to hear everything is going well for you and Winter :). Sounds like she's one little smart cookie! Isn't it amazing watching as their vocabulary starts increasing. Oliver knows a good 12-15 words I reckon, and understands most of what I say, it's awesome!
Sorry to hear Winter has been sick :(. Hope she's better now.
Yeah, gym has been great. I really want to lose all the extra junk in my trunk, lol, before TTC#2, especially with a toddler to run after :). Will hopefully start ttc by the end of the year! What about you? Any plans for another bub?
Hope to see you around :)
-
ello peach! glad to see your alive  and your little pigglett is going well! poor thing about the molars though :( hopefully she feels better soon!
sterla: get UTD - then lose the waight bfing and chaceing Oli hehe :p he's such a cute little man!
AFM: DJ is climbing on everything now! he can almost stand up 99% of the time when he gets to his knees. but getting better, he'll walk while you hold his hands but cant stand on his own - yet but is doing the whole ballance between two things ITMS, which is really cute. he's also understanding DH and I alot better. he understand "uh-uh no" when he tuches something he's not meant to as well as "step there" which is good. he's also taken to "patting" the cats more. he looks like he's got another two teethie pegs comming down on the top as well, so he's been a little off of late. i'm getting bigger now - and feeling it from time to time. had a baby brain moment making self sausing pudding - i forgot to put something under it and almost set fire to the bottom of the oven - then burnt myself with the sugar sause so i have a sexy blister on the top of my pointer finger :( but its getting better...but the pudding is sooo good. full of sugar but who cares :P i'm freezeing half of it for when bundy is born. i'll also be doing more soups and spag bowl plus lasarnia as well for DH. we're borrowing a freezer of my dad and it holds 25 Chinese containers so that'll help as our freezer is currently choccablock of stuff!
hope every one enjoys their second mothers day! hope you all get lots of wet sobbery kisses!! (from your little ones of corse ;) )
-
HOLEY MOLEY Dansta I cant believe you only have 6 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WThell where has the time gone???!!! Thats very good of you to be prepping and freezing food, evertime I did that when I was preg I ended up eating it within the week so we had none when Jiglet was born :)
Sterla- Hello :) Wow good on you I just saw your sig, 10 kg lost is AWESOME!!! How much more are you aiming for? Its great your getting out and about and doing it the healthy way. Are you still enjoying the gym, how is Oli going with it? Do you plan on ttc soon? I have noooooo plans anytime soon! Im just enjoying getting sleep and being able to have a few wines after bed time these days...
Hope everyone is well :)
-
Hey Peach, yeah 10kg so far... a lot to go... I'd like to lose at least another 20kg before ttc#2. Still going to the gym - just got back from there actually. It's so good - we always finish with swimming laps in the pool and it's so refreshing (and hard work). Lol, I know what you mean about just wanting to enjoy your bubba and getting some sleep! Oliver is sleeping so much better than he used to - usually only up once a night now. How is Winter's sleep? Oliver barely sleeps through the day though - his one sleep is getting shorter and shorter - was only 45 minutes today :(. No plans on ttc soon - more like at the end of the year. I'd like Oliver to be around 2.5 - 3 years. It would also be good if he was able to get to sleep without me before the next bub comes along. So there's all these things to consider too.
How ya goin' Dansta? :)
Hope everyone else is well. I better go to bed.

Hi ladies!!This has all changed so im afraid i havent read the posts youve written but i just wanted to pop in and say hello!!Went for another hearing test for summer today, still seems the same they suggest hearing aids but since her speech is ok so far we are going to wait untill shes older so she can understand the test better and if it affects her like in prep or whatever. No other news, shes still not walking oh and she has a cold poor thing
-
peach: LOL i'm having that issue, i'm freezing it but DH seems to eat it LOL. but hopefully very soon i'll start making more soup and that for freezing. plus i'm going to stock up on snags and stuff (DH can cook them  ) but i enjoy cooking, even when DJ is trying to pull himself to standing on the backs of my legs - all whilest avoiding burning the bump  it'd make a good youtube clip :P how is the jigglett going?
sterla: 10kg?!?! well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats a really good effort. you're alot better at loseing waight then i am. the only time i've lost waight in the last 3 years was after having DJ and expressing fulltime while trying to B/f him...then it went back up again started comming down and bundy snuck in! and thats a good idea of getting some "sleep" between babies. i've been lucky with DJ and his sleep he goes down about 10pm and it up at 6am or like last nigt down at 9pm and up at 4:30am but goes down again around 5:30-6am for an hour or so. and DH being home means i can sleep for an extra two hours. but with the next baby i've told DH i'll still get up and dive DJ his brekkie (if its early like 4:30) then put him down and when he's "up for the day" he can deal with him - until he goes back to work full time or takes on two part time jobs KWIM?
AFM: been a little busy here. re-arrangeing rooms. cleaning rooms up/out doing washing like we're not in the middle of a drought. but its all good. also DJ is standing more and more - with the help of walls/safety gate and kinda walking with support from DH or I. he's also 'talking' a bit more as well which is good. but no real "words" bar mum mum mum and glug glug glug. but he's getting there. my dad had a knee replacement yesterday so we'll be taking DJ into see him tomorrow. which should be interesting! hope every one is having a good night!
-
PJ:  That's all no good about Summer's hearing. I hope it's at least not too severe.
Dansta: Why am I still continually shocked whenever I look at your ticker?! I can't believe it's so soon! Sounds like you're pretty busy in nesting mode!
AFM: Had a self-imposed BB ban for a couple of days, as an experiment to see how I'd cope, lol. Coped okay - but I still missed it!
Oliver hasn't been sleeping very well recently. Had a shocking night a few nights ago where he went down at 7pm, woke at 11pm when I went to bed and didn't go back till 3am! I got about 3 hours sleep that night :(. This morning he was up gfor the day at 3.45am! Not fun, but at least he had a decent day sleep for once!
Otherwise all good though :)
Hope you're all well.
-
Sterla- You need to speak to Oli and tell him the day dos'nt start till at least 6 am!!! You must feel like a zombie! Im so glad the gym is going well for you, Im sure you must be loving having some time to yourself too. WInters sleep is pretty good, she sleeps through most nights which is nice... actually it rocks. Last night though DP was up from half eleven till half 12 with her but I think that was because she went down for the night at 5.30. She has phasing out the second nap and struggles some days with it. She had one half hour nap today so has been in bed since 6.
Hi everyone sorry gotta run :)
-
Guess who finally got AF? SO DEVO! Two years and one month its been, now Im a pimply crabby mess :P
How is everyone and Babies? :)
-
Peach:  It sucks huh!?! I got AF back when Oliver was 11 months, but it took a couple of months to actually get regular again, and even now it's only ever fairly light. Hooray for breastfeeding, lol! I'm the same with the pimples though - every month I break out about a week before AF comes, it sucks :(.
Dansta: Surely you're not almost 36 weeks? That doesn't seem right! How are you travelling?
PJ: How are you and Summer? Any news on the hearing test stuff?
AFM: We are good. Oliver has been nice enough to sleep in the last 2 mornings. 6.30am and 6.15am :) However, they were paired with him being a pain in the middle of the night and me being up with him for about an hour. *sigh* Oh well.
I'm planning on taking Oliver to a Playschool concert in July. I think they're travelling around the country at the moment, so I bet they'd be coming to you girls at some point :).
Gym is still going well - went twice yesterday! And this morning in the shower I noticed that my arms actually felt slightly muscular (instead of just flabby, lol) - so all my hard work must be paying off.
Oh, and I am being tragic and reading the Twilight series for the second time. (then I'll move onto True Blood Peach ;)).
Hope you're all well.
-
Great to hear your gettig a semi sleep in :) Um gym twice in one day?!?!? You go girl! How is Oli going in the creche there? You will be a lean mean fighting machine before you know it!
PUT DOWN TWILIGHT lol
-
Peach: I'm not taking Oliver to the creche at the gym anymore, cause he wasn't handling it very well. The last time I tried he cried the whole time I was away (over an hour! :(). DH can watch Oliver one or two mornings a week at his work while I do a class though, so that's what I do now. And then of an evening I just go after Oliver has gone down for the night.
And no, I can't and I WON'T put Twilight down :p I'm too in love with Edward, lol
-
Oh poor Oli :( Well thats good your DH can watch him. Have I mentioned Ive been having baby-free fridays?(hence me sitting on BB aaallll day today?) I have been watching a friends bub one day and she watches Jiggles on fridays. The first week was scary(for me) but W has so much fun with her little friend.
P.S Eric is sooo much better than Edward, I do love Edward though.. trust me you have to read your other books!!! :)
-
Hey everyone!!
We are still alive..JUST! Sammy been sick for the last week and gave it to the whole family. more updates to follow
Dansta: HOLY CRAP! can't believe Bundy is due so soon, thats just insane...how quickly has this gone. You must be getting so excited. You could really go anytime from now..hope the #2 labour/delivery goes the way you want it this time around. Enjoy your few last weeks with the 3 of you.
Sterla: WOW, 12.4kg, well done honey, are you doing a "diet" per say as well or just exercise and watching what you are eating. I am trying to lose an extra 10kg before we go to Canada in October. As for Oli and his sleep, have you thought about ringing Tresillian and asking for advice? and great on your DH for watching Oli while you get some mummy time, we all need it.
PJ: sorry to hear about Summer's hearing problems, hopefully it all works out, they do wonderful things now with hearing aids, etc if she does end up needing one. and WELL DONE ON WALKING lil miss Summer!!!
Peach: Lil Piglet is still causing some trouble eh? So good for you that you get a baby free Friday...my Dh is pretty good at giving me "time off" but in a few months once we can afford it, I'd like to put Sammy in day care for one day a week, just so I get a day for ME and I know Sam would love it anyway, she loves playgroup and interacting with other kids. I can;t believe you only just got AF back..feels like forever for me, its never nice is it? Although this week, I had a lil scare and was VERY happy to see AF! I don't want to be pg untl we get back from Canada so I can enjoy all the food & drinks I want with my friends I haven't seen in 8 years
As for us, life is going at a million miles a minute, seems like every week is flying by and I seem to not have anytime to myself or ourselves to get anything done. Sammy is FULL ON, but a gorgeous lil monkey still. She is saying a few words now and definately showing lots of personality, climbing everywhere and letting us know when she is not happ about something! As mentioned above, we have been sick this last week and this has affected Sam ( and ours) sleep greatly. I know I shouldn't complain because most of you get less than I do normally but when you've not had to deal with it, it's still not easy. Thinking this sickness has made Sammy realise that if she wakes up at 230am or whatever time, mummy will come and giver her cuddles til she falls asleep. or she wants to fall asleep in my arms in the lounge watching tele. we let her do it while she was sick but its almost as if she forgot how to self settle and could be a bit of separation anxiety which I have not yet seen in Sammy. She is also VERY MUCH a mummy's girl at the mo, poor DH is feeling a bit letft out and hurt I think. They normally have such a nice and clos relationship and lately, all Sam wants is me...which is nice but then its nice to get a break too. Anywho, we manage don't we? Gotta run but will try to make an effort to come chat more often, seems like I barely have time to come onto the 'puter these days.
Chat soon xx
-
Wow, great to hear from you Moose!!! How exciting for you guys to be going to Canada. I bet your friends cant wait. Where abouts are you visiting? Which airline are you going with? How long for?
Oh that must be hard for your DH with Sammy being so clingy to you, Im sure it will ease up soon though. And no good to hear you have been sick, I bet its getting cold down your way now which dosnt help. It feels like we are constantly sick or runny lately, just when we get over it some idiot brings their sick baby to a playgroup and we catch it all over agan :(
Dantsa- You were in my dream last night! You and Daz were at the local markets cruising around, he was a fat little blondie in my dream :)
Sterla, how are you lovely?
PJ, How are you and Summer?
Hope everyone is well :)
-
moose: your ALIVE! haha. glad to hear sammy is going well. ooo heading home ay? (will it be winter then??) sounds like fun. and LOL at not getting UTD before then - perhaps another 'stoeaway' is in order? ;) and LOL at me going any time soon. i honestly think this bub will be another stubborn one - just like DJ was. but i dont mind that. seeing as DH and I are up in the air about stopping at two or having a bigger gap and having #3. dj has also become clingy - to DH! which is a good thing really.
peach: haha about DJ being chunky! he's anything but. he's a long lean! dispite the amount of food he eats! mind you i would LOVE to go to a market - but we dont have any good ones.
sterla: geeze girly your going gang busters with the waight loss!!
bbl for personals
-
Good to hear from you Dansta. how you feeling? Excited?? :) Cant wait to read your birth announcment!!
-
Hey girls!
Moose: So wonderful to hear from you! Glad to hear you're going well, Sammy sounds like she's keeping you busy! It's a busy, busy age isn't it! Oliver is the same - he's always getting into something. I get tired just watching him, lol. I can totally relate about Sammy being clingy to you. Oliver is quite clingy to me, which can be nice at times cause they show you how much they love you, but at the same time makes life hard. I had visitors today, and Oliver would cry whenever I left the room, even though it's his own house!
That's so, so exciting about Canada, I bet you can't wait! I hope Sammy handles the big trip okay.
With my weight loss, I've just changed my lifestyle - I try to exercise every day, and I have stopped eating junk food (for the most part). It was hard at first, but now it's easy. I still have heaps of weight I'd like to lose before ttc#2 though.
Dansta: Wow, look at you - almost full term (37 weeks). That's amazing! That's good that you're prepared if you go over again... going over sucks! But at least if you're ready for it you might feel better about it. Hope you're feeling well :)
Peach: What have you been up to? How is Winter?
AFM: Well, my last week has sucked :(. Last Saturday morning Oliver had a fever come on really suddenly. He spent all of Saturday either crying or sleeping lying on top of me or DH with a fever of around 38.5. The panadol was only doing so much. Sunday was much the same, mildly better, but still a fever. He wouldn't sleep anywhere but lying on me or DH, and ended up sleeping in bed with us. Monday morning first thing I booked an appointment as he still had a fever. Went in at midday. The doctor looked in Oliver's left ear, then his right - and said he had a mild middle ear infection. Got a script for antibiotics. Oliver was still pretty miserable. Panadol wasn't doing anything, so DH went out and got some infant's Dimetapp... and OMG that stuff is magic. We gave it to Oliver Monday night, and within 10 minutes he was basically his usual self! The antibiotics are a nightmare to give Oliver - he hates it, and screams whenever we give them to him, and we have to hold and restrain him while we do it :( It's taking a long time for Oliver to bounce back. Even today, almost a week since it started he isn't quite himself. He's just whingey and extra clingy, but at least he's back on his food - he went about 4 days of eating almost nothing. Thank goodness I'm still b/f. In amongst all this I think he's been teething as well (eye teeth).
Oliver is almost right again though. He's eating, sleeping in his cot again (and sleeping fairly well), and we're slowly getting more smiles out of him.
I probably have more to write, but I'm exhausted, so will be back another time. Nice to hear from you all :).
-
peach: yeah, a little. i'm just rolling on though the days atm!
sterla:  i know bubs with ear infections can be a little worse for ware. i know i used to get them as a kid (i can rember one bad one that kept me up almost all night :( even after a trip to a 24he Gp!) lots of mummy cuddles help - i think my mum also used to make sure our beenies always covered our ears in winter too...mind you if Oli is anything like DJ and hat wearing - its pulled off faster then its put on!
AFM: DJ is going well, walking around his cot and trying to walk around the coutch, but its a little hard as we have veeeeeery little floor space around the coutch (thanks to my mothers stupid uber coutch) but we're getting there. i'm not at all worried, hes getting there and the frustration i can see when he cant move where he wants to makes me think he's slowly "getting it". as for bundy baby...well..we're getting there too. i'm quite happy to be toddleing along - its easier with DH home mostly now too. he's helping me with DJ and seems to understand i have days where sitting is the only thing i can do with out any discomfort. like right now i have a foot under my right rib and a bum wiggleing just under my sterum. but i'll stand and it'll "drop" so i have pressure in my pelvis. ahh the joys. my strech marks have grown also - i almost have them joining the ones on my hips - a very sexy look ya know! no doubt when the boobies start making milk i'll have a matching set bwahaha! next week a good friend of mine is comming down from Syd with her little man and her DP - so it'll be interesting to see how DJ reacts to a little baby! plus it'll be good to see her. as i told her she better have a good reson (back in march) not to be comming to my 21st (her EDD was the day before) and her little man came the day after! so its a good enough reson. on the sleep frount DJ hasnt been too bad *touch wood* dispite a molar comming though (one point thus far) plus BOTH his eye teeth look like they're comming though or...at least the teeth near them. last saterday was a bad night...but other then that he's been good. he's growing really quick and both DH and I have commented he looks like a real little boy now - even if he's still crawling. it'll be interesting to see how the next few weeks go. but i'll be happier - we've having half (dont ask LOL) our fence done tomorrow...the other half next door will be paying for when they can...i'll be happy having a safe(er) back yard for DJ to crawl around in!
speaking of him...i better go...looks like a no-day sleep day today!
-
alright whoes LO talked DJ's teeth into popping up
he's been off the last 48hrs and i thought we where heading towards our first 'bad' cold, with the unsettled ness (plus i've got a bit of a cold and my sleeping has been stuffed up)
but noo...i look in DJ's gob and what do i see? a molar with one and a half points though PLUS the two top teeth next to the ones already there (i call them the rabbit teeth - cus they're the only ones he has there  ) so that explains ALOT. poor mite. but the teething necklace has helped heaps.
-
gone quiet ave we eh?
How is every one going? Lo's keeping every one busy ay?
DJ has his molar though (yay!) it took about a week which wasn't too bad. but i think one is comming though on the other side (the poor darling :( but what can we do :( ) i guess i could be worse as the amber teething necklace really seems to be helping - its just the constant fountan of drool that makes things a little ahem...wet! but other then that he's good. he also had this third hair cut - well half hair cut. about 4 or 5 weeks ago i cut the back of his hair and left the front/top long and he ended up with what was dubbed the "frullet" (front mullet) which wasn't looking too good (dispite DH having a full blown mullet in 2002 LOL! ) so he got it trimmed up - DH saw it and couldnt understand how i did it on my own, but its not that hard - with a dummy and/or some food for distraction. (as DJ still isn't really sitting on his own) but it looks ok - i cut some of it a little sqew iff but hey - not bad for some one who has never really had to cut hair before (and boy i cant wait until DJ is old enough to have his hair shaved short like DH's!) getting closer and closer to meeting bundy baby too, which i think DH is a little more excited then i am at this point about it. i'm too busy worrying about DJ and how he'll go a night (or so) with out me there putting him down to bed! he's been so clingly lately to both DH and I. mainly DH during the day and me at night. but hey, all too soon it'll be "no mummy i go bed by myself" and i'll miss it! its already like that when he wont be rocked/cuddled to sleep now - he'll self settle really well at times. but with the teething he's beem a true mumma's boy! DH has also been putting all the video we've taken of DJ on to DVD...a whole 6 hours (or 6 DVDs!) worth thus far. well we still have one DVD to burn. but thats a good effort. i've started sorting out the photos to put onto disks as well, but i dread to think how many disks that'll take! got a freezer full of food for DH and DJ - as DJ is now eating more of our food - becuase until about a month or so ago he only had 6 teeth and wasn't able to chew much - other then soft steamed/boiled food, but now he's got more teeth he's working out the whole bite off and chew (i was giving him sanngers but he poor kid wasn't able to chew them up!) which is good. heres hoping he likes my spud cakes i made him (spud/carrot and celiry!) and just about every thing else i've made DH can give him some off his plate if DJ wants it - which im guessing he will as we cant eat anything with out a little man crawling over and almost ripping it off our plate!
I also caught up with a friend of mine who moved to Syd late last year - she had her DS the day after i turned 21 so i got to meet the little guy and my LORD he's a cutie bum! looks like his daddy while he's awake and his mum while he's asleep. but i couldnt get over how little he was. esp. next to DJ (sadly i didnt get a photo of them together due to my friends DS being tired/refluxy and DJ being tried and Mr empthetic! ) but she seemed so happy as she lost a little girl going on 18 months ago. but by the sounds of her birth (8hrs from first contraction to birth :o ) her angel guided her DS into this world safely. her DS also has reflux and its amazing the people who tell her formular is easy and that at 10 weeks he should be "close to sleeping though the night" i talked to her about it and told her what i did to deal with DJ's reflux and told her the most important thing is that she follow her own instinct with him - she knows her DS better then any books, medico or MCHN. she seemed to look a bit happier after that.
now i need to go and wash the dishes, fold the dried clothes (i love my drier right now!) and start putting some soup in the freezer...Ohh and maybe work out when i'll get stuck back into nesting. i've made that many batches of cookies in the last two days plus soup...and i still have around 4KG of spuds to cook up  but im in the mood for spud cakes so i might make some up for mine and DJ's dinner tonight...that along with finish cleaning the air intake-y thingy for the heater....its never bothered me before...but right now...i can see its dirty and i want it clean!
-
Dansta: OMG - you are SO close now!!! I can't believe how quickly the past 9 months have gone! I hope the transition from mum of one to mum of two goes smoothly for you!
AFM: Not so good. Oliver has a middle ear infection again :(. As a result, I only got 2 hours sleep last night. Oliver is coping fairly well though, but he's so tired and seems to be having trouble sleeping cause of his ear, poor thing. Baby dimetapp is my best friend right now. I hope the antibiotics work their magic soon.
Sorry not writing more, but kind of tired.
-
Hey Girls,
Sterla- it sounds like you guys are having a rough time at the moment :( Poor Oli, hope he gets better soon and then you can get some sleep. Are you managing to nap when he does? Hows the gym?? :)
Dantsa- Cant wait to read your birth announcment!
All is pretty well here, put Piglet down 15 mins ago. Its so great she finally self settles(!!!!). Only at night though, during the day I still feed her to sleep. Its lovely though having that nurse and getting a kiss goodnight and then no screaming. She cut one of her bottom incisors yesterday so the second bottom will be through any day now. They havnt been giving her too much greif which is good. Hey did I mention we got a dog????
Hope you are all well :)
-
HOLEY MOLEY just saw your ticker Dansta!!!! Cant believe it!! I actually have butterflies thinking about it... labour *shivers*
-
sterla: hows Oli going with his ears now? the poor poppet! i just saw almost 14kg lost! well done girly! you're doing a wonderful friggin' job!
peach: yay for the dog! what kind is it (or is it a 'we got it from the RSPCA type and we *think* it could be ___' types) i'm trying to talk DH into getting a dog - but he thinks it'll unbalace things with two adults (since when am i an 'adult' ;) ) two kids and two cats. but if bundy is a boy i'll aruge that the male/female balance isn't there! thats good pigglett self settles too. DJ will - but he's got teeth comming though and has become a cling-on-for-dear-life. but i admit i'm enjoying it. knowing soon we'll have two bubs. i'm liking the time i get with DJ now.
AFM: DJ has a second molar comming though now. plus the two top teeth next to the "rabbit" ones. i also think he may have some movement in other teeth but he bites HARD now lol. so no more fingers going in to check 'em out. hes also started to walk along a single bed we have in out comp room - and trys to along his cot (from the out side) and he has a walker thingy that he can walk behind - provided DH or I are there to stop it running away from him and help him stand up with it (like move him from the kitchen gate to it) i'm in agreeance with most people now - he'll walk once this next bub is here - he'll get attention that way  cheeky chicken he is. Oh and he's also worked out how to scream. not squeal, scream! its quite cute. its a little daunting the whole next baby comming thing. but not for the 'normal' resons! i'm more worried about leaving DJ - over night  as in his 16 months he's only ever woken up with out me in the house once (20wk u/s) and been put to bed by some one else (DH & MIL) at the end of april. so i'm a little worried about how he'll be - fine im sure but if he's teething DH wont know whats hit him (i'm the one who gets up in the middle of the night still and cuddles/comforts/feeds DJ. and DH, well...he needs a good 5-7 hours sleep. but i'm sure it'll be fine! (at least thats what im telling myself) the upside of it all though is i have my labour bag and maternity ward bag packed - and this time i remebered to put the diggie cam in the labour bag! as well as a change of clothes for DH - if i have a water birth/get into the shower he has clothes to change into so he doesn't freeze going back to the car after the birth (Ahh the joys of having a mid-winter as apposed to mid-summer baby) as well as spare batterys for the camra. i'm even thinking of chargeing up my old mobile to take as well - my current ones battery life is really, really bad! the only other thing left to do really is get a USB stick and fill it with music. DH has a few...but this time i want my music  i got really angry when labouring with DJ about him changing the song (once it'd finished) and made him play it three times i think it was. Ohh and i gotta get eat plugs for DH - he's got senstive ears and well...i really didn't care when labouring with DJ - so this time he's going to be "pre-peared" haha.
now we get to wait and see when i 'pop'. a cousin of mine is due on the 21st of june (day after me) so it's a "race" to see who'll pop first. i think she will, as it seems i like having babies in my belly for longer then most  hope every ones weekends are going good!
-
heeellooo? we're all busy eh? or maybe im just too big to be doing much!
hows Oli going? hope his ears feel better!
and Piglett?
its my EDD tomorrow :o where did the time go? i say edd, but i think i'll be crossing that line into the other "two week wait" but at least its not stinking hot this time!
DJ has a second mollar on the way though too, the poor thing. i feel for him. and DH - if its in full force when bundy comes, im not sure how he'll deal with it! MIL will be looking after DJ when im labouring. hopefully i'll only be in hospital for 24hours. so i wont need to stress about a teething Marshin! he's also slowly starting to cruse around the lunge we're hoping to buy a new lounge after bundy is born - as the one we have is cruddy and would explain why DJ cant walk around it - there is no floor space for him to do so! plus he's fallen once or twice and bopped his head on the coffee table :wall: but he's getting there. and his newiest thing is "hugs" he'll littartly throw his arms around your neck and try and climb up you! its really cute. he's growing up fast! he's still waking early for brekkie but im used to it. to the point that im awake waiting for him  but we did have a week of no day sleeps - but i think both of us having a cold didn't help much. but he's asleep now so hopefully it'll start to sort its self out - again - until the next bub is born then it'll be thrown out again. but i guess thats the good thing about having DJ and Bundy nearer in age - they'll ajust with (hopefully) out to much stress for me. and DH's work will be more stable. he's going to (in the new financial year) start working for my cousins as a cleaner (they own/started their own busness) as a subcontractor. so he'll be doing split shifts (say 7am-11am then 5pm-9pm) so i'll have help in the middle of the day. so i can (in theory) sleep lol. plus any appts that come up he'll be able to help me with! hopefully. DJ has also become a real daddies boy! when he leaves (like he did today to go to PIL's to work on a cruddy car for FIL) he got really upset - but its nice to have that, its nice that DJ is close with his dad - i know DH feels like he's not 'cus his dad didn't really have much todo with him until he was older and he's (FIL that is) has alot of issues around things like what a man does and doesn't do (he wouldnt be able to change apooy nappy) and other things. but DH is good...mainly due to the fact i told him he'd be doing that kind of thing. the only thing i *cant and wont* let DH do is cook. he's just...soo...uptight about it. if its written down hes ok...but he can't throw stuff together  poor man. lucky he has frozen food after bundy is born!
now...to sit (mmk maybe bounce) around for a while and wait til bundy pops out....ahh i cant wait for the "when are you due" questions and i get to say "ohh, last week" the one thing i love about going over is the shock value!
