about the car seat guys,
i saw the thread about why we should keep our car seats facing the rear even for toddlers and i saw every car seat was upright yet slightly reclined, and none had the two straps to the parcel shelf. our car only has one anchor point and that's how we have to anchor it. i hate those straps, yet i understand how important they are. its just a pain to life 8kg bubba up and over those straps in and out of the car seat, while i hit my head on the roof above the door nearly every time. we have a little lancer, so there isn't a lot of room and elouise doesn't help me when i put her in. she arches and wriggles and i have bumped her head or got her foot hooked on the straps a couple of times (i never hurt her). its just a pain in the ass. if i were to take the car seat out and then elouise out, i would need a spanner to undo the anchor point. damn things.
