    what the?? Lisa first!!!????
I am glad Kirsten in the country to see that!

Lisa - so cool you are having better days - stress no good for anything
Kirsten - Oleh!!!!!! I can't believe you are back already!! Are there photos on Quinn's site of him being a little traveller??
Michelle - this 4 hour thing JUST might work............ now to just figure her 4 hours around my life!

My little Mima is having a shocker with sleep - mainly coz - this is so embarrasing - she keeps hitting her head on the bars of her cot - REALLY hard - silly billy! I have borrowed cot bumpers but am going to make or buy some this week to save her skull. Her latest tooth is coming down kinda quick too, it is going to look so so funny!

Lisa, I really really really hope this means good news for you!! My fingers are still crossed everything's ok and you're just not as far as you thought! Have you done another pg test? (just out of interest)

Kel, here I am replying to you, even though we're chatting on MSN. Wierd. Anyway, as for hitting her head, Bella sort of does that too. She ends up with her head bent back and her forhead wedged up against the bars. She's such a wriggly worm, and she now sticks her legs out of the bars!

Welome back Kirsten and glad Quinn was such a good traveller - you're braver than I am!

Hope everyone else is doing well.

As for us, well Bella is still as cute as ever and was such an angel when we went to a christening today. All she did was laugh and yell, so much better than crying and stuff. She's still sleeping through since we changed her daily feed routine which has made me VERY happy indeed! She loves eating leaves and licking rocks too. Long story!

Anyway, I'm off to do some stuff before bedtime. See ya!

    Thanks Kell and Michelle

Michelle - Nope, I haven't done another pregnancy test, because I only just got the Beta HCG levels checked yesterday... I am actually scared about doing another HPT, I kinda don't want to get my hopes up Everytime I do a HPT, it comes back positive (I have done 4) and twice, Dr's have done urine tests on me that have come back negative.
I am just anxiously waiting until my next ultrasound and HCG tests.
That pic of Bella is beautiful... she looks like a grown-up-bubba!!! What a cutie

Lisa! First! Good one...when I saw new thread time I thought I would race in here and be first - but no luck for me! Oh well! I am keeping everything crossed for you - I think you being first is a good sign for you.

Kel: haven't updated the website yet but I have 421 pics that will be on there as soon as I get a chance. He is having a bit of trouble re-adjusting to Aus time zones - we were up with him for 2 hours last night poor little thing is just tired and confused. Apparently for babies jet lag is always tougher when you get back...he adjusted to Spain time in about 2 days!! He was such a hit over there - everyone called him Guapo (good-looking) which is true of course
Quinn likes to bump his head on his cot too - I read somewhere that its 's a spatial learning thing...he doesn't seem to get too upset by it.

Michelle: Bella really does look grown up - so gorgeous!!!!

He is almost crawling now too!

Kirsten, what a cutie Quinn is, waving like that! I hope he gets over his jetlag soon.

Lisa, when I was 5 and a half weeks pg with Bri, I did a home hpt and it was positive. Blood test was negative, but I KNEW I was pg. It took another week or so for it to come through in my blood for some strange reason. My fingers are still crossed. When's your ultrasound??

Us - we had a bit of a yukky night last night. Bella was really unsettled and every hour or so I'd hear her cry for about a second, then she'd go back to sleep. By midnight I decided to give her a feed to see if that would help her sleep and when I went in, she was burning up. I took her temp before feeding her and giving her panadole and she was 39.2. NOT happy about that of course! Anyway, after feed, it had dropped to 38.8, so drugs must have kicked in. She slept better after that.

She woke up from a sleep earlier and is back to normal, although with a slightly runny nose (clear) and that's it. And she's still her usual happy self! So I don't know what was wrong with her!? Oh, and lots of farts too! Poooeeeyyyy!!!! Better go - big pooh in progress right now - grunts and all!

Michelle - I hope Bella feels better today. The temps they can get are scary huh? They get them so quickly. I have nurofen for the temps... I was told that nurofen is good for taking the temp down quick, but fairly useless at keeping it down... so thats where something like panadol is good.
I haven't got an ultrasound booked as yet. I will be getting an emergency appt to see my GP tomorrow, and going over the results of the last ultrasound with him, then I imagine I will have another ultrasound on Friday... the longer we wait, the more there will be to see hopefully... being that if I am still pregnant, I would only be 4ish weeks, by Friday, hopefully I will be closer to being 5 weeks, and there should be something to see.

Kirsten - Quinn is just gorgeous!!! I love his waving trick... what a clever little man

Kel - Wow... another tooth for Jemima!!! All these toothy babies, mine is still my little gummy bear... lol

Me - Well, Harrisons newest trick is to show everyone how he fake coughs... it is soooo funny... when he hears someone cough, he stares at them, then starts his faking... it is really cute actually because he pokes his tongue out when he does it!!!
I'm just taking it easy... I have been put on strict bed rest orders... but, who can stay in bed with a 8 month old, and 2 school aged kids home on holidays? DH has been brilliant... thankfully I am on bedrest during the long weekend. I get out of bed to get onto the computer, then my tummy starts to hurt, so I go back... bed is boring... I am a terrible patient!!! lol

Lisa: Did you end up guessing the sex right of all of the babies from our belly group? I don't know what made me think of that but it just came into my mind - i know you were right up there with nearly all of them...maybe you have some sort of internet powers
I am like you - I am a terrible patient, I always scam some way to be doing something, I don't know how you could manage to stay in bed considering all the kids! I guess all you can do is wait at the moment isn't it? I imagine that's really really hard too. Quinn does a fake cough trick too, his dad coughs a lot because of some nose thing (according to him) so I think Quinn has picked it up and copies, he also copies the sound of bye bye, but it's more like ba ba but he does it when he waves and you would swear he was saying bye bye. Harrison is such an adorable little boy - I just love his hair!!!!!!!!

Michelle: that fever is awful - it's terrible when they are that hot isn't it, poor little thing! How is she now?

Well Quinn was awake again last night for 3 hours, crying/playing/laughing, basically just not wanting to be asleep, he is sleeping like a world champion during the day and goes to sleep on his own with no crying, it's just night times when he wakes up for 3 hours cracking it and wanting to play. stupid jetlag! I'm exhausted! Well I better go, I've just bought some new herbs to plant in the garden and should do that while Quinn is still asleep, planting herbs and awake half crawling babies do not go well together.

    Hi to everyone else.

    ear infections suck
being bad mummy and not realises your kid has one sucks
jemima has really bad ear infection one side and a 'mild' one the otherside
she is also coughing like an old emphasema lady
when ur baby has ear infection it screams alot

went to mothers group today am SO sick to death of my SIL, she is so vague when she talks about her baby that it confuses me but you cant ask questions coz she gets defensive so she obviously lying and whenever your baby may do or have something that MIGHT be 'better' than her baby she shoots it down and makes me feel like crap and i wasnt even saying anything today as i know what she is like!

kirsten as soon as my computer lets me i am going to go check out waving quinn, do you wave bye bye to everyone?
pretty sure Jemima was meant to be a boy otherwise lisa was SPOT ON! sorry lisa, i thought she was a boy too though!!!

Yep... Jemima was the only one I got wrong

I wish I could pick my babies like I can pick other peoples!! Lmao.
It is starting to become a novelty now because as soon as I hear that someone is pregnant, I think about their babies and I imagine them with a certain sex baby... I have just recently got 2 IRL people right too.

Well... I got some good news today... the HCG levels have risen again... now they are 378, which basically means I am still pregnant, unless the ultrasound says otherwise.
I want to get excited, but I'm not going to until I know for sure... I am having the ultrasound tomorrow... I have a feeling that DH and I will have another boy, I think my DH is like his father... destined to have all boys... considering we have already had 2 boys together, I think we're on track to another!!! lol
We have had plans for another bubba pretty much straight after Harrison was born, so we have names picked already!!! lmao... I just hope there is a bubba in there that will be the stickiest bubba ever.

Fantastique, Lisa, I'm so pleased for you!

Quinn is so cute waving, DS seems to be very erratic with the waves and hits me most of the time.

DS doesn't bump his head, but then he has a cotbed and it's huge.

Best be off, someone is awake and smelly!

Kel: People who are like that are just insecure - is your SIL in your mothers group?? That is annoying!!!!!! mother's group is so cool - I love the mother's in my group they are great all laid back and no competition or nastiness - we all know it can be very hard at times. And you aren't a bad mum for not noticing an ear infection, Jemima can't tell you she has sore ears! Poor little thing! Yeah Quinn waves to cars that go past and to people on the street on the plane he was waving to everyone like he was the royal baby.

Lisa: WHoo hooo for rising levels! What are the new names you have picked? Or are they a secret?

Ryn: I get lots of smacks in the face too, Quinn's favorite of all time thing to do is to snatch my glasses off my face and eat them! We're very proud...think he might be gifted! additional evidence of this was when he picked up 2 handfuls of his own poo while we were in Spain...getting poo out from between tiny clenched fingers before they go into the mouth is hard work!

lisa - the only way is up! wohowooo for you and me now hey the only way is up baby wohwohwowowo owh (that is me singing that old eighties song the only way is up....of course) fingers and toes are crossed in this house and prays are going out to you and your family! tell us the names please?? if you tell us yours i'll tell u mine!!

kirsten - that waving and that kid is SO cute!!! cant wait for jemima to do that............... YES my SIL is in mothers group, i feel so so sorry for her baby, looks like she could have been quite a nice child but will be poisened totally by her mothers insecurity and competitiviness my SIL used to be a teacher and is bossy boots runner of house i feel sorry for her hubby but you can tell he is like her as well they are ALWAYS right and if they dont like it it must not be any good (example: I am talking dreamy donuts with another mum at mothers group this other mum buys them by the box, another mum and i were both into them when we were pregnant and SIL pipes up, they are awful, they are disgusting, you dont eat them do you.... it is as if she honestly believes that if she doesnt like something then anyone who does has something wrong with them.... it is the same with the swim schools and rattles and things for babies and the stroller she got is the ONLY one worth getting as it reclines you know.... so my friend who got one that doesnt recline... poor baby..... and then when jemima got teeth at 5 months it was like "poor jemima" her baby one week older got her tooth at 6.5 months and you still cant see them a month later but of course it is completly different not poor hannah..... grrrrrrrrrr why do people have to make everything so so so hard!?
i need the truth so i can go home and "check" jemima, not compete but just make sure she is doing the right kind of things and headding in right direction, i dont need bullsh*t from SIL so i dont go home and think hmmmmm circus freak hannah is jumping through hoops hmmm i need to get my baby some hoops!?

sorry for the rant but i hate people like that EVERYONE else in my mothers group is awesome, i know them all bar 2 from other places so that is weird, hopefully it will be more enjoyable next week with baby not screaming in pain every so often etc etc

jemima totally changed her sleeping again!! i love that child...... now we go to bed at 6.30pm and wake once for a feed last night it was 3.30 i think BIG change from 3 days ago that was sleep at 6pm wake at 10pm, 2am and 4.30am then AWAKE at 6am........... heaps better............ i have found the trick with my child is to not read kids books to her, no i read her the "baby love" book, and so i told her that at her age she really shouldnt be waking up so much at night and that i really didnt like 2am, so she stopped it.... hehehehe bless her cotton socks!
when she is better i will maybe see about getting rid of the one wake up but for now i am not going to push it..

off to the hairdresser and shopping soon! going to buy more cute bonds denim skirts LOVE them so jem needs them in different sizes she has it is 00 and 1 so i will buy 0 for her and 000 for a friend about to have baby girl.

    thanks for listening

Kel, that's so annoying! My mother does that - everything Lieby does, no big deal because Sis or I did it at the same age. Now it's competitive because when I was saying about how well Lieby is walking all she could do was say "well, you were" (no "well done my grandson" at all) and then she had to say I could read my letters by age 2 and was fully toilet trained, out of nappies at night, when my sister was 3 days old (so 2 years 2 months exactly). It's not a competition but I just know give it another year or so and she'll be wondering aloud what I'm doing "wrong". She's just an evil cow. She's already complaining Lieby isn't weaned enough and she wants him for a week. Not until she can build a snowman in Hell. MiL is a bit better, she only compares DS to his cousin, who is 14m older. But she compares how he is now to how she is now, which isn't on. Especially when she says Lieby is more advanced, how mean is that to Niece? Yes, Lieby was more vocal than Niece until just recently but they all develop at their own rate. And just cos Niece can sit up fine that's no reason to ignore Lieby sitting up! Sorry, that was a bit of a vent!

Lisa, sadly I am now singing (read: murdering) that wonderful Yazz hit too.

Kirsten, Liebs eats his own glasses. He doesn't wear his sunglasses now, but lucky us in the UK you don't need them. He hasn't tried poo yet, but he does like to poo while naked and standing then dash over to jump in it. Strange child.

Right, well, I'm off to get Liebs some nice long sleeved tops today. He has 3 cardis next size up, but none this size and only 6 long-sleeved tops, only one of which I really like. As it's cold I need more clothes that fit, epecially as he'll be wearing these clothes for a bit. He's in 6-9m, I think that's a size 0.

Has any other baby got a pincer grip yet or am I making it up (and not telling either grandmother just so I can stay excited about it)?

pincer grip is when you pick something up with thumb and one finger (usually forefinger). Try picking up a pen, that's a pincer grip.
