I found some sandally type shoes yesterday at Big W... they're just cheap-ish shoes, but they make him laugh so thats all that matters... They're looney tunes ones with a baby version of Bugs Bunny on them. I only bought them in a size 2... I am really hoping to find him some better quality ones soon.
I bought him another pair of Dunlops yesterday... they are black and white checked ones... you know, like the ones "all the kids are wearing these days" (never thought I'd be saying that!) and they are the cutest!!! When he wears his "Harrison is a punk" shirt, and his cool black jeans and his new shoes, he looks so spunky!!! lol

Whew, you ladies sure can talk!
I know what you mean lisa about there being so much stuff for girls, there is really not that much choice for boys. I get Quinn some girls tops sometimes because they are cute and cheap and come in grey and green, I don't know why they specify things like that as being boys or girls! Cotton on Girl have lots of lovely clothes for boys

Not much new here, Quinn is commando crawling everywhere and really has to be watched now, he crawled to near the top of the stairs this morning so I think it's time to go and inviestigate the gates. He is on an eating frenzy at the moment, he's eating at least a cup of food at each meal and sometimes 2 cups! Plus breastfeeding 4 times a day and last night he fed for about 40 minutes in the middle of the night, he woke up at about 11:30 and he was frantic, I was thinking it might be night terrors but I thought that was when they were 1. Quinn will be 9 months Thursday! I can't beleive it, it seems like only last week we were all waiting patiently to go into labour, hot and cranky!!! I know I was ironing sheets and complaining that they weren't flat enough - ahh to have that much time to worry about those things again!

Anyway this body isn't going to shower itself, gotta go. Hope all is well and the sickies are feeling lots better today.

    HELLO

Michelle - The wealth seminar sounds really interesting. I have always thought about doing something like that, but am too lazy to do the hard yards. I don't want to start anything too full on anymore. My days of being committed to work are over. I am just a Mum now....Your web page is great, a real inspiration, well done.

Catherine - I am sorry to hear that El is still sick. What are the doctors saying? Do you want to postpone our meet up until she is feeling better?

Kel - I have been having the 'what do you do' problem too. First thing in the morning I let him watch ABC Kids. We always go for a walk during the day at some stage, usually for Tobi's afternoon nap, but it's getting too hot now, so we might change it and go for his morning nap instead. Now that Tobi is on the move, that seems to keep him occupied for a while, trying to get into things and seeing what he is allowed to play with. He loves sitting in his high chair or jolly jumper while I am in the kitchen doing dishes or cooking and loves sitting in the washing basket when I am doing washing. Put him in front of a mirror and he will kiss the other baby till the sun goes down. And then of course there is tickle time. I got him a baby pool (from a garage sale) last week, so I am going to set that up for hot days and let him slash about. We don't have a car so don't get to the shops much, but try to get out of the house for activities every second day, whether it is swimming lessons, gymbaroo, playgroup or meeting up with friends, there is always an opportunity. On the weekends we always do a family activity, like going to the park etc.

Jayne - Congratulations on the weight loss. That is fantastic. How is the sleeping going? Tobi has two teddies that he sleeps with and I think he is starting to get very attached to them and we'll have to start taking them with us if I know he'll be napping at someone elses house etc. I love the idea of them having their security item, it's so cute. I still have a teddy that sits on my bed, Ducky. Its Winnie the Pooh dressed as a Duck.

Lisa - How long has Harrison been wearing shoes for? I haven't even thought about shoes for Tobi yet. Last time I tried a pair on they were way too big. Does he wear them all the time or just when you dress him up? Tobi has a pair of Nike's that I got from my work when I left. I can't wait for him to wear them...maybe I should try them out and see if they fit now. I know he loves the shoelaces on his socks!!!

Kirsten - Yeah...what can I say. I am addicted to Belly Belly. I have told myself only to get on here once a day now, but that hasn't stopped me writing heaps. Tobi has been waking up crying too lately (this morning at 5am), but as soon as I feed him he was fine and went back to sleep. Coincidentally, I read in my Mummy mag last night that Night Terrors happen around 3-5....You iron sheets? I don't iron anything if I can get away with it. I probably should start, now that I am a responsible adult and all. I only just started making the beds!!!

Funny story...It is our 3rd Wedding Anniversary today and my DH is away. I just got a beautiful big bunch of flowers with the most unromantic card 'For our third anniversary, Love *DH*'. I laughed and rang my MIL (we get along really well) to tell her how funny her son is. She laughed and said that he gets that from his parents. After I hung up, I looked at the back of the card and it had details for delivery (before 11am or after 3pm). It just happened to be that I was talking to MIL last night and she asked what I was doing today and I told her we'd be out about 11 and 3. Busted!!! DH had apparently rung her in a fit last night saying that he forgot to order flowers and the card that I thought was so funny, was actually her input.

Anyway, today is bathroom cleaning day, so I better get a start on it while Munchkin is asleep.

Tash... Harrison has been wearing shoes for when we dress him up for a while now... but they have become a bit more of a necessity now that he stands up everywhere.
