Bon...glad you enjoyed showing off your little man...I'm sure he is a cutey!! You are right....Aldi nappies do have wonderful absorbancy and they are cheap! We used them for a bit with DD but with her skinny pencil legs they were too wide in the crutch (so looked bulky with fitted pants) and as her wees got bigger they sagged quite badly so we were forever changing them. You see, she needs a size down for fit, but size up for absorbancy (still does and is in crawler for size and toddler for absorbancy now lol). But that's just us and DD isn't a regular shape - she's a skinny minni (in fact she has never had a fat roll lol!).
Most of my friends use them so they are really popular.....they are really giving Huggies a run for their money. Actually, just before Christmas, Extra (channel 9) had Mums road-test different nappies and Aldi came second as the most favourite nappies for fit, absorbancy and price!! So sounds like you are on a winner with Aldi.
Jo: I've never heard of moss....let me know how it goes and what it actually does.

Gypsy - we have been using cloth full time since H was about 1 week old. He pooped for Australia yesterday though so I am having some drying issues atm Otherwise all good! No idea about moss - never heard of using it!
Soniebon - a hug a bub is pretty much a 5 mtre long piece of fabric that you tie (it shows you how) around yourself. Bub is nice and tight and close and it gives GREAT back support. You can even bend over and bub won't fall out - great to use while trying to get the house cleaned! H loves it - sleeps soundly in it from the second he's in it!
Gypsy, Soph has given a good description of the Hug A Bub. My DH loves to wear bub in it too as he gets to feel close. A good bonding tool I've got a crook back (bulging disc and sciatica) and was able to carry Ben when he was 12 months old no probs!
We haven't started Jared on cloth yet. I ordered some flushable liners from Mothers' Direct last week so once they arrive and my latest order from Baby Beehinds arrives, we'll get started on them. We're back to using Huggies for Jared and as backup for Ben. Ben started getting rashes from the Aldi nappies after months of using them when mum was looking after him. It was weird that he went so long in them before trouble. Now we rarely use sposies on him at all. Cloth most of the time for him

AJC, I cuddled Ben to sleep for months and months and don't have any issues with him with sleep now. In fact, he 'reads' himself to sleep now after we read a story to him. It's really great Take all the cuddles you can now, they'll be up and running about before we know it

Us, we've had a full-on weekend so far. Visitors galore and then a bbq last night. We have another to go to today. Ben's sleeping normally again and Jared seems to have drifted to two big sleeps during the day already too. It's strange that so many of our little bubs are already doing this!!!
Gotta go. DH has Jared and he's hungry again. I really thought he'd skip the 6 week growth spurt since he's so big already, but it looks like he has other ideas!
