Orange - good stuff with Dash's routine, sounds like you two have it sorted yay!! Caleb has reflux too, we just bought formula thickener today to add to his formula and also got some Losac too to help him, i also give him infants friend to keep the wind issues down. He just gets those blasted hiccups far too many times a day and for far too long!! sometimes for an hour! drives me nuts so cant imagine how he feels poor little man!!! So lets hope we see some improvement with his reflux after all the money we just spent

Right im off to bed, had a late night last night entertaining friends for dinner and didnt realise how exhausting it can be...

Just a quick one today since I had a migraine yesterday and have an unsettled bubba as a result (I think it stuffed my milk supply )

Orange, yep, I think I remember 4 months as being a bit yuk for all the girls in my mum's group. Their teeth all seemed to start moving around - even though most didn't appear for a few months. They also seemed to want to change their routines - whether it was related to their teeth or not we still don't know!

Thought so Dis....only time will tell with lot hey lol!!

Jo I have my fingers crossed. Dash is on Zantac and it is in liquid form so easy to put in his bottle. I have found that the reflux is worse if he has colic as well so Infacol goes in every bottle to try and battle that rattley chest....the combo seems to work. Dash also has Gaviscon in all bottles over 100mL and is on a thickened formula to top it off!!! His reflux is quite bad though. Good luck!!

Any of you been to a Wiggles concert before? Was thinking about taking DD but wasn't sure what to expect in terms of seating, crowds etc. How would I go at handling a nearly 4month old at the concert?? Just that my parents are overseas and no-one to watch Dash.....maybe it is best to wait for the next concert??

Orange, I used to take my niece and nephew to The Wiggles every year. We used to go to the big Christmas one at the Ent Cent so I'm not sure how the seating would work in the local ones they're doing now. I reckon it could be a bit of a struggle with a bub, although by four months they're a bit more alert and can sit up (with support) a bit better. The stress might take all the enjoyment out of it though. Plus, you don't know how loud it's going to be which might hurt Dash's little eardrums.

I took B to Disney On Ice last year and the year before with my niece and nephew. The first time he was only two months old and was quite startled by the noise to start with, but then was quite fascinated by the costumes and movement. Last year he was 9 or 10 months and it was a lot easier. He seemed to really enjoy the first half and then fell asleep. When he was a wee bub I had my mum with me for help, but last year it was just me and the three kids and we did alright

Don't know if that helps you make up your mind!

Us, had a better night last night (shocker on Sunday!) I'm thinking it really was the coffee -poor little mite. He's having major issues with wind right now. Infacol is doing nothing Will only sleep on his tummy, I have to either have him where I can watch him (and make sure he's breathing) or have his movement monitor on. During the night he sleeps okay on his back though which is good otherwise I'd be up all night worrying that he's stopped breathing!

Better do some housework while the boys are asleep. Joy of joys!

    Sorry for the quick note,
but my little girl is off to the doctors any moment now - no sleep last night or today and still throwing up and crying and generally very unhappy..... so looks like reflux to me.

I hope something can be worked out - reflux is horrible for all of us.....

Oh Runner I hope you get some answers and even better - some solutions!

Orange - I have tickets for the Wiggles so I'll be taking a 2.5, 3.5 and Henry, I hope it will be ok!

Dis - So glad to hear you have tummy sleeper. H will ONLY sleep on his tummy, so yes I have a movement monitor. Trying so hard to get him on his back but he really is a tummy boy. Even doesn't really like lying on back to play really. Stressful I agree - but he just will not sleep on his back at all, so it is the only way unfortunately.

Speaking of sleep - H has been a right litle turd the past 2 days. Feed feed feed and will wake up the second I put him down. Is it growth spurt time atm? I'm exhausted! And Lucie and NEd so badly want some attention and Henry is consuming every bit of mine. I'm at my wits end!

Oh runner - sorry to hear your little girl isnt well, hope she gets better soon! Caleb has reflux and we have him on losec, that might be what they give your bubba, if they do try and get it in liquid form, we got it in the capsules which have to be put in water and he gags on it.

My dad arrives tomorrow to meet Caleb, so excited!!! Caleb had his 2 month check up today and he is 5.8kg!!!! he has grown another 4cm and is now 58cm long.. what a big boy i have hes just a delight
