Woah. You're right Jess, it's so quiet in here.
Sounds like everyone's doing really great - bubs included. :) Yay!
Billy's not crawling - don't reckon he's really into it but who knows. I'll leave it up to him. He's got 3 teeth, with another on it's way and heaps of lovely, blonde hair!
Other than that, things are kind of quiet. :)
Well, I'm going to check in here more often. Seems like a nice, peaceful place to be.
Love to all,
Kate

-
Anna- WooHoo Congrats sweetie!! How exciting for you:) another from our 'other' due date date thread UTD,lol. Nikki is due about that time too!
Kate - Does that mean you aren't going to visit us anymore on the other 'venue'? Will email you soon.
-
Hi ladies,
Maz- your poor little fella. Hopefully that tooth with push through very soon. I cannot believe he is 9 months already!
Amber has one tooth cut through and another not too far away. She is now saying Bubba and Dadda or sometimes gadda and has a strong personality.
Dont have much more to add at the moment. I have to go and change a nappy!
-
Maz: fingers crossed Mat get a tooth soon & the bleeding bum stops. Sophie gets a red bum when shes teething.
Jen: woohoo for Amber getting a tooth & the other one doesnt cause too much discomfort.
Anna: Congratulations if i hadnt already said so. New home=new baby??.
Nik: i know i've said elsewhere but Congratulations to you also.
Tascha: Good luck on your TTC #2 journey, fingers crossed for you guys.
Sophie is still all gummy but doesnt mean it doesnt hurt when she bites down on my finger LOL. I think i'll have to give Sophie 5 or maybe 6 defrosted ice cubes of homemade food, she scoffs down the 4 defrosted ice cubes i give her and is looking for more food... Glad Sophie is past the constipation but am still going with the the prune juice once a day and she usually poo's before she goes down for her 9am nap otherwise its when she wakes up.
Good to hear everyone is doing so well. Will try and remember to check in here more.

Hey everyone
I haven't been for so long!
OK, so I'm going to take the title of having the tiniest bubba here! Amelie is only about 7.5kg at 8.5 months, which means she's on about the 10th percentile. But lengthwise, she's 70cm so she's on the 50th percentile. My little monkey is a skinny minnie.
Still no teeth yet, but cammando crawling pretty well since about 7.5months. She claps her hands to a certain song, and is very vocal when she doesn't get her way! LOL.
We're leaving for Europe for a 3-week break next week - I'm so not looking forward to travelling with her! I guess it's more about fear of the unknown ie, will she behave herself?? Not sure what we're going to do about sleeping, as we co-sleep - I imagine we're going to have to hold her when she sleeps. Has anyone been on a long flight with your bub yet? I asked the airline what kind of baby meals they provide but they don't know!! They just said "baby meals" when I asked with no more info. I'm going to bring my own food JIC.
-
Hello Everyone.
Cherryblossum... DH and I traveled with Joshy to Europe and Dubai in May/June this year. Although he was much younger I do have a couple of hints for you...
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE book yourself a bassinet seat. I mean talk to you travel agent and make SURE you have reserved those particular seats the WHOLE way too and from!!! It will give your little Amelie a place to sleep while you can eat and relax a little too. We didn't and found our selfs holding Joshy for over 8 hours straight. NOT HAPPY!!! Depending on the airline.. the baby food they give is the general jars you get at the supermarket. And you just get what's given. You can store anything needing chillen. Just talking to the airline staff for assistance with that. We bought our selfs a QUICKSMART stroller. IT IS FABULOUS.. before we left. It is lightweight and small enough to be able to go with you on the place.. SUPER handy in transit for hours on end at an airport!!! If you want more info on it.. just let me know. Buy Amelie a new toy.. that will hold her attention for a while.. it kept Joshy from getting bored.
Now this is just a few things I noted with travelling. By all means do what you feel is right. Ohh.. before I forget... at the xray stations at airports.. we had Joshy in that pram.. the staff would pull him through the archway scanner.. and HOLD ME BACK.. so to safe you from SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER at the staff. Get yourself checked out while Amelie is with her daddy. Then get her taken through.. straight into your arms!!! While she gets checked with the scanner!
MM .. can't think of anything else. Please don't hesitate to ask anything else.. If I can help in any way.. I will!
Joshua is crawling.. and the portacot is in the living room to give this mama a chance to get too the loo without fear of him getting into anything he aint supposed too. Cheecky monkey!!
Hugs

Mateauz is a star!
Your pic of Vy Maz is gorgeous too!
I am confused by your ticker.... Are you going to TTC next year?
-
No Jen...its a new baby im woring on for my store...heheh ive had alot of comments about people thinking we're TTC number 5. sadly no more babies for maz :)
What about you Jen....do you guys have plans on expanding your ever gorgeous family and OMG look at those eye's on Amber. have you been well hun? Next time I come downt o Melbourne we defently have to meet up again and this time without so many other people around lol..to hard to chat when there's about 20 there.
-
Ooohhh I will have to keep my eyes out at your store in the new year.
Hmmm not sure how I would cope with a toddler and a baby. I don't know how you do it with 4 kids! I would like another one though. Maybe think about TTC next year at some stage.
Now that Mat is such a superstar does he have any sign of CP?
-
Its hard but great having the 2 so close together (by older 2 were the same) the grow up being very close whcih is really nice.
Mateauz is going great guns thanks hun :) he's trying to sit up by himself atm and finally had one tooth through. I jsut bought him an amber :) necklace that is ment to be anatural remedy for teething from the states...just have to wait to get it now in the mail. so much cheaper then buying here in australia.
Has Amber cut her teeth through now? Is she up and about? Is she sleeping through for yo now days hon? How's your MIL going?
I get so lost and left out at the other place so I give up. I cant keep up there either so I'll just come back in here and chat from now on.
-
Amber has cut 1 tooth and looks like more are coming. She has gone back to sleeping through the night. Last week she was waking every hour during the night but she has a cold so that would be doing it to her.
MIL is going great. She moved to a rehab hospital in Bendigo on Friday and will hopefully be going home in a couple of weeks.
I have heard about the Amber necklaces. Hopefully they do the trick. How much was it? The aussie dollar is so crap at the moment too. But if it works then I might think about getting one for A.
I will have to get Kate and BTK to come on a road trip to Shepp soon I reckon.
-
I got the necklace for under $20 Australia including postage and I was them on a site here for $35 not including postage.
thank god Amber is sleepign through again for you...god you must of been so tired. So glad to hear your MIL is going good again.
Oh a road trip up here :) that would be ace!
-
Maz - did you get your teething necklace from etsy? Goddamn I love that place.
I got one from my other favourite place - ebay - for $13.95, waiting on it too.
On a different note - Punky doesn't "say" anything yet, just yells & chatters etc, but no "Mum" or "Dad" yet! :(
-
Hi all,
Just a quick one and a bit of a woohoo from a mum of a baby who hasn't done anything even close to mobility......Amy can get to sitting from her tummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woot!
Sorry I have been MIA. Just no time esp now I'm so tired from this little belly baby jumping around in there. My tummy has gotten a lot bigger. Can't believe how quickly I've started to show this time!
Maz - that is so great about Mateauz. what a champion. He's just so adorable.
Jen - Hope Amber's cold is on the way out. Good to hear your MIL is going ok.
Vic - Amy has only just started saying stuff in the past week but she's still not crawling etc. I don't think she actually says words though, just noises that sound like mamama and dadada.....
Hi to everyone else. I'm just hopeless keeping up. All your bubs sounds like they are progressing really well. I have to go as I have a little girl who doesn't want to go to sleep even though mummy knows she's tired! Luv Nik and Amy xxxx
-
Vic - I got another necklace from ebay for around the same price you did...they had BF bracelt's so one had to fall into my caert for Sammi too :)..got the other necklace from a place called Tribute to Finn which is in the US...im hanging fo rit cause Mateauz has been screaming all day :(
Nik - so dame good to hear from yo woman! Hows that little chicken growning in ya. God I miss that. How old will Amy be when bub is born? WOO HOO Amy on sitting by yourself honey...now come and tell Mateauz how to do it please
Jen - has Amber cut any mroe teeth yet?
Ready to parcel post my little boy express here atm....I took his nappy off this morning and his Bsack stuck to the nappy...so when the nappy was pulled away..of came some skin :( far out~!!! I dont know who screamed louder, him or me
Hello to fellow other mummies who dont post in here much ...come back..................
-
Oh poor Mat. Nasty nappy rash. I am wishing Aus post to send you your necklace. I might buy one to try. Who is the best seller on ebay to get one from?
Vic- Are you feeling better?
Nic- Wow Amy on sitting from her tummy. Amber seems to have forgotten how to roll! We mostly put her down on her tummy now. She will not roll to her back. When we put her down on her back she will sometimes roll to her tummy. Go figure huh!
No more teeth cut here. Although, I can see the second one. I hope it cuts very soon.
-
HEY Everyone :D
I think Sophie will get the wooden spoon on getting 1st tooth HAHA, she's still all gums @9months.
All bubs sound like they are going great guns!!.
Sophie has said 'dad' a few times but mostly its 'dad-dad' 'nan-nan' & since the weekend 'bubba'. She mostly commando crawls, but has started to get on her hands & knees and move, she's put herself back into a sitting position from tummy once. Sophie also pulls herself up to stuff so she's on her knees and also in a standing position.
Going to get Sophie weighed while Chris is off work (Sat-Tues) it's been a month since i got her weighed, she was 8.8kgs @8months.
On Saturday i got my Christmas present early WOOHOO, i got the Wii, Wii Fit & some accessories.
Will try and come back here more often i just get addicted to the games on FB.
-
Jen - we had a nite from hell...mat ended up sleeping with me and yet again I feel ****!
Will pm you the details of the person I got my amber necklace from to babe
Gotta run....Mateauz is screaming again
-
Hi gals, I lurk but dont often post.
Just wanted to say no/not many teeth and no talking seems to be the norm for Jan babies cause Ripleys got 2 teeth and only says Dad-dad on a regular basis. Occasionally I get a 'muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm' when Im ignoring his tanty's lol Nothing else but alot of jibberish. I was thinking yesterday Im not sure Id even reconise a proper word in amongst all the jibber he talks so maybe he says more and Im just not hearing it hehehe he is crawling/cruising though so I guess thats something. He's 10mths old on Sunday, holy frick 2mths til 1st birthday!
Nik - yay for Amy sitting from tummy!
-
Hi ladies!
Well, it's been a week of a couple of firsts for Amy. I'm so excited because I was starting to worry that nothing was ever going to happen cos there were a couple of months where she just did nothing new. She's started rolling from her back to her tummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes it difficult to get her to sleep during the day cos she keeps doing it in her cot but I'm so excited! Bit sad i know but I'm just so relieved.
Jen - Amy has forgotten how to roll from her tummy to her back now. Weird huh!? hope that tooth has come through.
Maz - Our number 2 is growing nicely. I'm getting a fair few kicks now and am starting to really enjoy being pregnant again now that all the sickness is over. Still get ridiculously tired but I think that would happen even if I wasn't pregnant. Amy will be 15 months when bub is due. Poor Mat. I so hope the nappy rash clears up soon. It sounds so awful and must be so hard for you to see on your little man. How painful. Hugs to both of you xx
Jo - good luck with Sophie's weigh in. Amy's is a chub now. She's 10.3 kg! I nearly fell over when I saw that on the scales. So nice to see after all the drama we had at the beginning.
Anna - I can't believe that it will be their first birthday in a couple of months. totally spins me out. Woot on Ripley crawling/cruising! That's great!!
well better go get dressed. Hope you are all doing wonderfully xxxx
-
Hey everyone,
Haven't posted in here for ages! :hide:
All mum's & bub's seem to be going great!
Bodie isn't crawling yet, get's on all fours and rocks back and forth. He has actually crawled a couple of times but forgets how to do it! hehe. He says 'mum mum' alot and tries to say dad but comes out 'daddle daddle' and pokes his tounge out when saying it.
Loves his food, eat's whatever we put in front of him really.
Hi Anna! That's great Ripley is crawling/cruising around. Your belly is growing nicely! How exciting! I know it's crazy to think our bubs will be 1 in 2 months! It's just gone soooo fast.
Nik: Wooo hoooo Amy! How awesome that your getting alot of kicks now. You must feel so much better now that MS has gone! I bet your first day at work was hard, I know I nearly balled my eyes out leaving Bodie. It does get better though as the days pass. Did you travel to Brissy or work from home?
Maz: I know how you feel when bubs sleeps in your bed. I used to be able to sleep whilst Bodie would lie on my arm asleep but now his head get's so heavy and my arm becomes dead. Luckily the past week he has been sleeping through and he hasn't had to sleep with us. Poor Mat, hope his rash clears soon.
Better go, will try and pop in here more often xoxo

Hello everyone!
Wow... it's been ages since I posted... been reading email updates tho...
Great to hear everyone's doing well!
My Amelie's not so slim anymore...she's 9kg now and she's a champion at eating solids! She's gained heaps since starting solids...around 50 percentile now...
I'm BF her about 3 times a day and give her formula for the dream feed.
She's crawling and just today pulled herself up on the couch!
Talking wise.. she's been saying 'da da' since about 6 months and says mum & dad in Korean now :)
Her bottom two teeth are out and top one's got a bud coming through.
So many things happened since she started eating solids properly...growing so fast...!
The other day I held a newborn as my friend had her baby...I heard other mums say they forgot how to hold a newborn and it's true! I was nervous when I had to hold her bub as she was so tiny and yes how quickly did I forget!
Anyways.. take care ppl.. esp those of you who are expecting :) congratulations!!!!
-
omg i keep forgetting to come in here, going to make it my home page i reckon lol.. but it seems pretty quiet in here anyway...
jays going really well, LOVES his food, just not too keen on feeding himself but im going to make a MCHN appoint' so will see what she has to say...
loves his vegies and sometimes has desert for tea as well! lil piggy!
jays not crawling yet either but gets on his hands n knees and rocks and crawls backwards ect, not really worried, hes moving around QUITE enough already :p
has his 2 bottom teeth and the top left one had just cut through...
hmm thats all i can think of atm!
hope everyones well!
-
hello again
Thank you Tascha for your travelling tips!! I made sure I got bassinet seats MEL to HKG, but the monkey did not even sleep for one bit!! The bassinet supplied by the airline (Cathay Pacific) was sooo small with hardly any room on the sides for her arms (and she's tiny!!), so we just held her for the whole journey. It was the most exhausting 11.5 hours of my life. By the time we got to HKG we all of us were irritable and exhausted from lack of sleep. HKG to London was much better as we asked for vacant row of seats which luckily we got.
On the way back, we went by Singapore airline which was much better! They have bigger bassinets! Amelie slept like a champion! Phew! So all of us were refreshed when we arrived into MEL, however the customs line was sooooo long - I really wish they have fast track lines for parents dealing with little bubbas who may be hungry and tired getting off a long flight! There should be more courtesy and compassion shown to parents with littlies!! As it was, Amelie was throwing tanties from being in line for so long. It was about 2 hours from landing befor we got out of customs :wall:
On other news, Amelie's two bottom teeth cut through 2 weeks ago. She's been saying "dada" since about 6.5 mths now and said "mama" at 8 mths - she also prefers mama to dada so she says this all the time LOL. Now also crawling properly using hands and knees not cammando crawling anymore! She also goes from crawling to sitting up and vice versa really easily. Oh she has somehow learnt to wave hello when she meets people LOL! I think she may have learnt this when we're out and about when random people would wave hello to her and speak to her. It is so cute. We have taught her to clap to "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands" - it is the CUTEST thing!!!
We are also doing "elimination communication" (EC) since about 7 mths - has anyone heard of this? I contributed to a thread about this a while ago: https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...-3-months.html
She's doing really well with this as well but I'm not confident enough to do it full-time yet! Potentially too messy I think and she's still so young.
My LO is still a tiny baby - only 7.7kg. I have good and bad days with solids - sometimes she eats so well but on other days she clamps her mouth shut and nothing will make her open it! I tried letting her feed herself a while ago but she makes gagging sounds and it scared the hell out of me so never tried it again. Sometimes I wonder if I should see a paedetrician about this? Even her 6 month old cousin (who was born premmie at 34 weeks) is now bigger than her!!
-
YAY im not the only one that forgets to come in here......its a good sign really isn't it :)
Mateauz...well were do I start.
He has 2 bottom teeth and I can see that his top teeth are bulging..so no doubt we'll be in for a week of hell soon. He crawls everywere, had started pulling himself up in the last week and yesterday took 3 steps holding onto the couch (couch walking) . He is so chunky nad in size 0 - 1 clothes. Says - dada, mama, me, aye, bubba and loves blowing rasberries. He eats so much...2 weetbix for breaky alone. He sleeps 13 hours anight and 3 hours through the day (one sleep) I am so in awe of him atm. I cant wait to see the physio next week and show of his new tricks ;)
thats enough of me bragging
hope everyone is well and that yourve all gone out and bought a first christmas tree ornament..OH NO I forgot about the tree....hmm gonna have to watch my little chubber with that!
Cherry - you can get these mesh feeders from tomme tippe that allow you to put food in them but they cant get chunks out to eat IFYKWIM. We used it to start with and it helped mateauz get the hang of solids. I to hate the gagging sound...mateauz still makes it and it scares the hell out of me
keep smiling
-
lol maz yer im a bit worried about the tree too! im sure jaylen will end up pulling it on himself :p
god mat is a hero! cant belive all the stuff hes doing! i'd be so proud maz!
where did u get the '1st xmas' ornament, i cant find them anywhere? also trying to look for a 1st xmas stocking or bear or something but cant find them either...
cherry blossum, how big was amelie when she was born? im sure its all fine but u could go to the mchn and see if shes still on the right 'curve on the graph? like jay is a big baby, but hes stil growing on the right curve, i reckon he would weigh about 11kgs now, he was 9.7kgs at like 7 months, lil chubba
well im off!
-
Jess - Big W have a heap of my first chirstmas stockings and hats..in baby blue :) and the ornaments was like $3...if you cant get them let me know and I'll go and get them for ya.
Yes...very proud Jess...I still have to pinch myself
-

Mateauz is a champion.

Just bumping the thread up :)
-
Have not been in here for agggeeeesssss.....
Just thought I would pop in and say hi. Thanks ANNA for bumping that up for me, I finally found it.
Madeleine is going really well ;-) and growing so quickly, she is almost 11 months old.
How is everyone else going with their Bubs?
-
Hi everyone!Sounds like things are going really well in here with everyone. Amy's been crawling for just over two weeks now and gets faster every day. She's pulling herself up on everything she can and is cruising like a pro. She gets back down from standing now (which is nice after a few days of the whingeing for me to help her down) and is starting to let go for a second and stand on her own but only for a second. All this in 2 1/2 weeks! Nothing for months and months and then everything all of a sudden! I'm kinda relieved because I was starting to worry cos she wasn't showing any signs of becoming mobile. Now she's got a bit of carpet burn on her toe! Hahahahaha. Doesn't seem to bother her, that's why I'm laughing ;-)Have bought the decos and invitations for Amy's first birthday. We're just having nibblies and drinks at home with family and close friends. Nothing too huge. We're opening a bank account for her and putting some money in that as a pressie. What is everyone else doing?
Moonsun - that's great that Amelie has finally put on the weight. One less thing to worry about :-)
cherry - the gagging sound is awful. Hope Amelie is going ok with the feeding now.
Maz - Have you seen the physio yet to rub their noses in it? You are a legend.
Jess - my sis bought Amy a baby's first christmas stocking. I put it up the other day. It is very cute.
Ashie - welcome! Congrats on your new pregnancy! When are you due? Are you going to stop at two kids? We are only having two so am making sure i enjoy every minute of this pregnancy as I know it's the last time. Lincoln sounds like a cutie. This age is so much fun isn't it!?
Belinda - long time no speak! Glad to hear madeleine is going well. Scary that a year has gone so quickly isn't it!?
well better get going. Have a great day ladies xx
-
Ashie - hi ya and welcome :)...my little man is chubbed up so much..he was only 2.9kg born and lost alot of that weight as he nearly died on us...but hey he's goo dnow and cruising around. Very stubborn red head lol.
Anna - you just cant come in here and bump without having a chat woman!!!!!
Nik - we're having a huge 1st birthday...we dont normally celebrate first but wait until their seconds...but we think its due course to celebrate his :)...having a huge pool party for the kids out the back...with bubbles and a BBQ tea for the parents. 2 weeks later ive got a 7th brithday party for WIlhelm....thank god for the Ruddy bonus this year.
Ive got a goodlittle man who likes his 12 hours sleep at night and his 3 hours through the day.
ok of to do some house work and find a certain little miss Vy as its gone awefully quiet.
-
Maz, how is Mat going?
Nik, so good to see you in here. Sounds like Amy is becoming a champion crawler indeed. Yes Madeleine has carpet burn on her forehead a couple of weeks ago, just a teeny bit, went head first into the carpet. Poor thing, they are prone to accidents now aren't they?
She is going through my washing, better go...she puts it everywhere!!!!
-
It would be a boring update if I did Maz!
We're all sick. Rip is starting to be assertive (read=naughty), still not walking unless we hold his hands. He's 12kg and 85cm tall. His brother is lucky to be alive the way his attitude is going. Gage is gestating nicely but I look like a huge fat very disgruntled cow :)
Hope everyone else is chirpier than me ;)
-
yes i love this age when they interact more with you he makes me laugh with his silly face he does all the time and when he calls me mumma when he wants something, the only problem is everything is his well he thinks anyway he wants everything you have lol.
i am due the 29th june but will be having another c-scetion yay:clap:
this one is already longer that linky was at the same age which is scary
this pregnancy is totally different to lincoln really sick all the time if its a girl we might not have another but if its a boy must try again i do want to have a little girl to put stockings and boots on hehe.
-
Hello everyone.
My goodness its been forever. TIME FLIES.
Update on Joshy...
CHEEKY.. great way to start! My little man has been crawling for a while now. And finds everything and anything to get into trouble with. He loves to walk while pushing anything that moves around the house. SO funny! Reminds me of that ad on telly with the boy needing a swing to push his sister. Anyway... He is taking careful steps between DH and I. And to the furniture. Needs the encouragement still, but looks so grown up and steady when he does. He did a record 9 steps yesterday! He is eating like a trooper. Great chewer regardless of having only one little toothiepeg! I still dont get him eating all his dinner though. Still wants the bottle over it. But then he only has the bottle 2 times a day. He loves his car toys.. and makes the whole BRRRMMM sound with a raspberry sort of feel to it. SO CUTE!! Talking wise he seems content with sounds. He says Ta, Dada, Mama!!! nice and loud offcourse, and experiments with the letters allot. I guess that a quick update ...
Great to hear how all the little once are doing so well!!! Fantastic to read the updates. Exciting times indeed with the age they are all at now. And Christmas will be interesting to say the least. Is anyone "teaching" their little ones to unwrap? Josh will be spoilt rotten by his family.. but we all know the wrapping is the main fun!!!
I am planning Joshy's first birthday too. Only because its on a long weekend. Its just a little get together for family and friends. I bought a cheap second hand blow up kids castle .. perfect for this age. And have a bubble machine too. Im making the invites myself. Nothing too fancy. Then there is the cake too. Ive designed what I want. Just need to put it all together. Might practice the decorations first.. safe disasters later!
Ive been a slacker with personals since day dot. Sorry ladies. I love reading up on everyone and hearing about the latest adventures and milestones. Just have trouble with the commenting on it.
Anyway.
We are now looking at having baby #2. Not stopping it from happening. But I know it will take a while .. so fingers crossed for a Birthday present for Josh that he will be a big brother next year.
Take care. Enjoy the silly season everyone.
