Hello Lovely Ladies ...
So much for pestering you while I was on holidays ... the holidays are over and I am back to work on Monday and I have had no time to post! I have been busy planning and tidying my house (which still looks like a bomb has ripped through it).
Em & Jack are back from their Dad's today so it will be full on again from about 11.30!!! I have to go and pick them up from football so had better get my skates on I guess.
Cheers

Hey there Everybody! I too have been another slacker and not posting, but yes, I do read up on everyone.
Paige is coming along in leaps and bounds with her talking now. I can't get over how only about 8 weeks ago she was only saying 2-3 words and now it is just amazing. Although ATM, for about the last two weeks she has been waking up through the night up to 3 times. She will settle straight away and go back to sleep, but we can't work out why she is waking up. We thought she might be cold, but that wasn't it, then thirsty, but we can't figure it out. I know it pales in comparison to what some of you have gone though, but it is bugging me as to why she is doing it.
I went into Target yesterday and got some stuff for Christmas too because I like to have it all out of the way by October, because by November we are just flat out on the farm and there is no time for shopping. THings don't ease up around here until the middle of December, plus I like to be able to say to DH, "Look, this is what I have got the kids" because he hates Christmas with a passion and I don't like stressing him about it.
I got more for the older 2 and only got Paige a Pooh Bear musical player & book set. Erin got a princess one last year and Paige loves the little player, so I got her the pooh one. Not sure what else to get her though. It is hard when the other two already have so much.

so good to see some of you who have beend MIA!!!
Kelly- I found that school hols was way busier than when the ids were at school too, hope fully you can find some time to post during the term lol.
Sherie- yay for the tt going so well, and also good on you for getting your xmas shopping done. IWYM about the others having heaps of stuff mine are the same, esp since Jordan was an only child for 5 yrs and so both sets of grandparents spoilt her rotton, as did we. Some things I decided they had to have of their own , like dolls prams, dolls houses and dolls. Barbies too are one child things lol, I have packed jordans stuff away so that she can take them with her when she boots off from home and give them to her kids to play with. We have loads of little people and though most are Josh's, Jem got a little it and Jess prob will too, and I think I will keep them here, for my grandkids lol. What sort of farming do you do? What is it aobut xmas that your DH doens;t like?
Theresa- happy late bday to Em!!! Hope the trip to Brisbane isn't too stressful for poor em, she is sure not to like the tube, poor bubba!!! Are you all going to Bris to stay? Yay too at the tt!!! Must be in the air, Em, Jess and Paige all tt atm.
Arron is working, so we all had to go to Netball this morning where Josh proceeded to misbehave, it is so draining to have to tell him off every second. We went to Mum and Dads for lunch and just got home. Jess is sleeping, Jem has cleaned her room and is ready for a donut, and Josh and Jordan are't egtting one until their rooms are clean. We will be leaving to go out after tea, and will try not to get home too late, as Auskick is in the morninhg. I am going to put the sewing machine on in a minute and do something lol. I have made a personalised tooth fairy cushion, one for boys and one for girls and am going to put them on ebay to sell. They are very cute.
Anyway have a great day

YAY!!! I found my way back!!
Is good to see so many familiar faces...am glad that everyone is doing well!! Liam has turned into a fussy eater too. I do the same as you Christy. He seems to eat for Dad though but never for me GRRRR!!! and then I usually cave in when he goes to the pantry and gets chips out (he knows I am a push over I gotta be more harsh) He is good though when he finishes he puts the plate in the sink but still has a bottle at night when goes to bed. Doesn't have any during the day just drinks from a cup.
Is everyone Else's babies still on bottles or have you managed to ween?? I'm not quite sure where to start. Managed to move him into a bed a few months ago. Was frightened that he would sleepwalk *lol* Has a double bed all to himself and manages to get out by himself in the morning goes out the the lounge turns the TV and watches Mel and Koshi *lol* Wanted to make sure he was use to it before number 2 come.
Liam was getting good at the potty until winter hit have decided to tray again when spring comes. Is soOoOooOoO cold!!!
Look forward to chatting again soon!!

Hi Spiddles, Paige still has a bottle too, but only for sleep, so three times a day - morning (when she wakes up), after lunch for her afternoon sleep and bedtime. I'm not terribly worried about her having them still.
Michelle, we are grain and sheep farmers and during Nov-Dec we are harvesting all our crops. Sometimes it can last up to the middle of December in a good year. DH hates Christmas because it is all so commercial. he enjoys the day with family and the big dinner and stuff, but hates all the extravagance and thinks overall it is a huge waste of money.

Jo – don’t worry too much about the TV thing. I’ve been letting Charlie watch far too much telly lately too, but once we get a handle on this ‘having two’ thing I’m sure we’ll be able to cut that back. Don’t think I’ve got it sussed either – it’s all a façade, mainly for myself than anyone else! It must be hard when DH gets home so late. I reckon that’s the hardest part of the day. Don’t worry, this phase will be over all too quickly. If you want to meet up with the kids at a park one day, PM me. It’s nice that we’ve got two around the same age. Sounds like Kaleb is doing well.
Mitch – lol at putting things on top of the pram! I have done that once before in Coles and I had such a guilty conscience that I went back and paid for it. What a dork. Hope you have a fun night tonight with your gf.
Kelly – re: the state of your house… I heard once somewhere that trying to clean when you’ve got kids is like trying to shovel your footpath while it’s still snowing. We all understand!
Sherie – sounds like Paige is turning into a chatterbox! Can’t wait until Charlie does that. Re: waking up – do you think she could be having bad dreams? My mum told me that I had night terrors for a few months when I was around this age and I would wake up screaming (Charlie has done it a few times and it’s terrible – he’s insonsolable). Hope it’s a short lived phase, whatever it is.
Theresa – hope that Emma has a lovely party. The poor little thing with her tummy. I hope the appt goes well next week. And it sounds like she’s going great guns with tt – and all on her own too! What a clever little thing.
Spiddles – long time not see! Hope that Liam is doing well.
Not much to report here. We were supposed to go to the Roma St Parklands today for a family reunion but it got rained out so we went to MIL’s instead. Was quite nice and she didn’t do anything to offend me re: Charlie too, which was nice. Trying to take it easy this week as it’s DH’s last week of holidays but as usual we’ve planned too much. Charlie has been a bit difficult with his day sleeps for the last few days, not sure why. He’s tired but he just seems to play up and run around in his room. I just did a SuperNanny on his arse and went in there, picked him up without looking at him and plonked him in bed a couple of times this afternoon and it seemed to work, so hopefully this stage doesn’t last long! Anyway, I hear a very small boy with tummy trouble so I’d better go. Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend.
-
Not sure what it is Kellee, but when she wakes up she is fine - she isn't crying or upset, she's just awake for some reason. Last night we even kept her up till 9 hoping that she'd be so tired she'd sleep right through, but no joy - she got up twice and is now really tired and cranky because she didn't have her sleep today. So I hope that might sort things out tonight.
-
Asha hasn't had a sleep today ... and she is very quiet so I have to go and make sure she is awake. Just wanted to say Hi ... I was going to post again to make up for my quietness! LOL
Cheers

Hi girls!! Great to see familiar faces in here ;)
Sherie, Matilda has just started sleeping again... don't know what changed but we went through around 2-3 tough weeks there where it would take her over an hour to get to sleep for naps & bedtime & then would wake up in the night. We haven't changed anything so no ideas there LOL
Spiddles, Matilda still has a bottle at night & a cup of milk before nap time. I'm not too worried about it either.
Opps better run DH just came in the door with food :) Will catch up more later!
-
Michelle - that sounds so cool re. the tt! Wish Wolf was somewhat closer to tt but I guess not... boys do take longer or so they say, hey? He always pees in the bathtub (thankfully I have stopped bathing with him and bath with Zara now and then he gets in on his own and splashes about). Everytime he tinkles in the tub I tell him that he shouldn't pee in the tub and ask him where he should pee and he does say "toilet" but never does it.. hmmmmmz.. I think he just doesn't know it is going to come. He is a bit like a dog... he pees constantly... I had him running around naked in the garden at my mom's place when we were there and I swear he peed 5 times in 1 hour!
Lol on the "shoplifting"
worst thing I have done is that I put my wallet there and folded up the hood so didn't see it anymore (seemed like a good place at the time). LEft the pram OUTSIDE over night! Frantically looked for my wallet the next morning ... then realised where I had put it. Thankfully it was still there .. but how retarded of me to leave it there!!!
Jo - it's funny but I felt quite the contrary. I thought a newborn was so much less work / easier to handle than a 15 month old... lol I can imagine you must be exhausted. I do treasure our nanny. The 3 hours on my own before she arrives and the 2 hours in the evening on my own are enough of sole parenting for me... I have never showered before the nanny arrives, cause what do you do with the 2 while you're in the shower? I used to take Wolf in the bathroom with me but can't take both in the bathroom with me as a) it's too small and b) Wolf would probably step on Zara / groom her with the toilet brush, If I just take Zara, Wolf chucks a hissy and if I just take Wolf, Zara screams (in fact, she screams everytime she is left on her own - that girl needs a lot of attention). I can't leave both of them in the room as Wolf can climb into her cot (and frequently does when I'm not looking) and even though he is quite good, I would never want to leave the two on their own as he might just think it's funny to bite her and make her cry. :boohoo: Small logistical things like that, hey...
Speaking of my attention hawk - someone apparently needs some TLC
Gotta go!
Snowy
-
LOL Snowy I have a hard enough time showering with one! Hehehehe... just that Matilda loves to jump off things, can now unlock doors with keys etc... unless she's in the shower with me, I don't get one until she is asleep or unless I get up in the morning before her.
That reminds me! Matilda has always loved her baths, but for the last week has screamed the house down even thinking about baths & has been begging for showers! I don't know why or what has happened... .maybe she just likes being with us, even though we sit next to the bath & play with her.
-
hi girls
no time to post gotta take the kids to school, will be back soon
-
What a morning. I've just managed to sit in front of the computer and have a quick catch up on what everyone is up to.
Sherie - Mackenzie is waking up too - she is much better now she is in a bed but still wakes every night - I don't know why either. My SIL woke every night until she was 10 so I hope she hasn't inherited that gene!
Well this morning Miss M came walking into me while I was hanging some clothes on the clothes horse with no nappy on and saying poos. I had visions of poo everywhere but luckly it was contained in the nappy and just a few marks on her legs when she pulled it off. She wanted to then put the poo in the toilet but I stopped it there! I then put knickers on her and she stayed dry and FINALLY did a wee after lunch in the toilet. YAY - i had a tear, my little girl is growing up so fast. We have been trying to toilet train for a few weeks, we are on the toilet a few times a day but never get any progress but she's happy to sit so we just continue and today it may have just clicked - we will see. Anyway after that Mackenzie wanted to do some drawing so gave her the paper and crayons, walked away for 2 minutes came back and she's drawing all over the couch in red crayon! Luckly that came off so we survive to live another day there and then I do a load of washing and the machine leaks wetting all the cupboards and mat near the back door. AHHHHHH. Anyway, everything is very calm at the moment so we will see how this arvo goes!
Theresa - I'm so vague, I've just put 2 and 2 together and realise that it is your post I'm watching to see how Em goes with her gastroenterologist visit. Good luck.
Must run I need to get thru another 10 pages of BB forums before Miss M wakes.
Nikki

Just a quick one to say Michelle (Mooshie) - am thinking of you today. Sending you a {{{{{{big hug}}}}}}! It doesn't get easier, does it?
-
sorry ive been slack again - have been reading what everyone is up to but when its time to reply eliana is getting into something she shouldnt!! so will try & get online more when she is asleep
not alot happening here - eliana is talking alot more & certainly knows what she wants now - we are going to underwaterworld tomorrow - im taking my niece for her 4th birthday along with my 17month old nephew so it will be interesting with the two littlies then she is having a party at maza mania (an indoor play centre)
a question on those who have TT experience - im preparing myself for when eliana is more interested & want to know a few things - firstly a potty or straight on the big toilet & secondly did you use pull-ups or normal undies or those thick absorbant undies?
hope everyone has had a great day & sending more hugs to mooshie
-
hi everyone
yes i have been so slack and i guess the reason for that is there really isn't much happening around here in the world of little miss lani - other than just the normal day to day cuteness and naughtiness lmao.
thanks everyone for your thoughts today it really means something, can you believe no one from my dh side of the family have contacted us or anything, tell you he sooooooooooo ****ed off with the lot of them. my mum had us around for dinner last night and she gave us a lovely present with black and white photoes of myself, jessica, lani and my mum all taken around the age of 18mths it was so lovely and unexpected. i don't expect anything of course but gees a little respect and acknowledgement from the outlaws would be nice.
anyway enough about that.
mel with respect of tt, personally i hate potties, but i guess i am a snob lol. no it really urkes me when i see people carting potties around with them to the shops etc and i will always remember the new next door neighbours twin boys sitting in the back of their station wagon both having a crap in their potties with the tail gate up, whilst there house is being built lol. my theory on potties also is you have to get them on the big toilet eventually, i have a seat with 2 steps and handles which worked well for jessica, not so good with jay cause i didn't realise his tt problem (he was 3 1/2 yrs old by the time we had it all figured) i was getting him to sit down whereas he wanted to stand and wee just like dad, so he just wouldn't wee whilst sitting lol, when we all finally figured it out all was good.
also if you can try and stay out of pullups just another money making grab from the nappy companies. i did use them at night for ds till he was nighttrained cause there was no way he wanted to wear a nappy. anyway i find the best thing is to have a week or so with nothing planned and try and stay home or close to home to get the tt down pat if possible. i did my shopping on line etc for a while and did short trips to the park or a friends house, but stayed away from shops in fear of a big puddle being left for everyone to slip in lol. i also think once in knickers always in knickers when they get the hang of it no going back iykwim. i tried jay when he was 3 but it just wasn't working so i put nappies back on and when he was around 3 1/2 it just all worked. lani has done a few wees on the toilet but i am not really toilet training her atm, i just take her for a wee before her bath just to get her aware of it all. i guess i am being lazy tho, cause really for the first few months it can be such a chore going to check out every public toilet wherever you go, my ds was facinated by different toilets and whilst the novelty was there, he was always needing to go to the loo (even for just a trickle) just so he could check out the toilets, weird child and not good for a mummy who has a public toilet phobia pmsl, i carry that alchohol hand gel with me everywhere i go to clean the kids hands lol.
anyway hi to you all, hope all the kiddies are doing well and those with big bellies growing little bundles hope your pregnancies are treating you well. we are still going on the ttc front 12mths done how many to go???????? who knows i reckon when i do get 2 lines on a hpt i will faint with shock.
have a good nighyt
-
thanks mooshie for all the advice - i too dont like potties cause i remember seeing one full of wee sitting around when i went babysitting & its put me off them but i thought if it was easier id give it a go - i was shocked at how much pull ups were so that's why i asked about undies - will have to go buy some but they'll probably just fall off skinny minnie
the photo thing you got sounds lovely - how rude of the outlaws!! fingers crossed you get those 2 lines but make sure you lie down cause fainting while standing can be harmful :)
-
Theresa what time is your appt? Maybe we could meet up for arvo tea or something if you are still in town?
-
Next time would be great :). Or in December, by then I'll have my second little girl too!
ETA... Well girls I went to kindygym again today & I must say it is amazing for Matilda. We got there early but that meant more running around time for Matilda on her own. She jumped & played and went absolutely beserk today. Then afterwards she had a massive tantrum leaving, which everyone laughed at! But when we got home just after 11, I told her we would have lunch & then she would have a nap. When we got in the house she ran straight to her bed, climbed in a yelled "bottle, night night" I thought she was joking so I said it was time for lunch first & she started screaming & crying so I brought in a bottle & she went straight to sleep. She slept for 3 hours! For those of you who don't know, we have been battling with sleep since Matilda was born, this is the first time she's even indicated that she wanted bed. and then actually slept... for HOURS. I played on BB for an hour, had a shower & then popped my feet up & read half a book. I'm thinking of investing in this gym business :)
-
Way to go Matilda!!! That must of been great for your sanity Christy LOL.
Michelle, your Mum's gift was a lovely gesture. She obviously put a lot of thought into it.
Paige has crossed the final fronteer - she was worked out how to open the fridge! Now there is nothing I can keep her out of. Although I am surprised it took her this long because the other two could open it way before they were this age. She only started yesterday after we got home with the shopping. I came inside and the fridge was open and she was in it and I asked her who opened it for her and the said "Me" and I though "uh-oh" LOL.
-
Hey all,
Mooshie – I was thinking about you on Monday. I hope that the day wasn’t too bad for you, but I’m imagining that there’s nothing anyone can say or do to make it any easier. What a lovely idea your mum had for a gift. Bugger the in laws. What is wrong with them?!
Theresa – hope the appt went well… and btw, what a cute pic of Georgie!
Mel – hope you had a nice day at Underwater World! Bet Eliana loved the big glass tunnel thing.
Snowy – I’m the same, I reckon that Toby is much less work that Charlie. It feels like a little holiday when Charlie goes to Mum’s for the night… is that wrong?!
Christy – Charlie went through a phase about 6 months ago where he suddenly hated the bath. Would one of you feel ok getting in with her? I know it’s hard, but she’ll get through it – I never thought Charlie would grow out of it but he did. And you have sold me on the kindygym thing… anything that would make Charlie look forward to going to sleep would be a bonus! Three hours! Wow.
Nikbrad – go Mackenzie! What a big girl with her tt. Thank goodness the crayon came out of the couch! I would have freaked, I think.
Paige – bugger the fridge! Mine has a child lock on it, but it doesn’t seem to work. Just waiting for the day Charlie figures out how to open it on his own. How did Paige’s sleep go?
Well the countdown is now on until DH goes back to work. We’ll really miss him around here, I can tell you! My main concern is how I’ll get both the kids down for a sleep at the same time – Toby seems to want to go down just after lunch at exactly the same time as Charlie, so that will be interesting on my own! I’m sure I’ll be fine – I think it’s the lack of social contact I will miss most. I’m taking the plunge and going to a playgroup next week that another BBer recommended to me, although I saw when I walked past it today that it’s actually at an AOG church, so I’m a bit worried about that one but we’ll see.
Charlie has been really funny about his afternoon sleep lately. He used to be so good – after we take his toys out he used to just be happy to go to sleep after his story, but now he runs around the room like a maniac for a while. He was jumping on the bed this afternoon and everytime DH went out of the room after telling him off he just got back on there again. He only settled down after he fell off the bed and I went in and told him enough was enough. I think the only reason he fell asleep was because he was tired from crying because it hurt! I hope this doesn’t continue – any ideas? We’ve tried both ignoring it and hoping he goes to sleep on his own eventually and going in and telling him to stay in bed, both with only moderate success. It’s not too bad now, but it will probably drive me mad next week!
Anyway, better go and save my brownies – I have a rehearsal here on Friday and I always have to play the perfect hostess. Fun, but it makes me very tired. Hope you’re all well.
-
hi everyone!:hello:
Just thought id introduce myself! My name is Erin and im a mum of a 19 month old son, Daniel. Im 24 weeks pregnant, due on the 11th november.
hope to chat with you all soon! :)
-
Hello Erin! Lovely to have you with us. Congrats on the pregnancy - do you visit the Belly Buddies section too? Where are you from? Look forward to chatting with you soon.
-
Hi Kellee!
I just went to the Belly Buddies section~ thanks!
Im from Brisbane also!!
-
Kellee... the play group we used to go to was at the church as well, it wasn't really like anything about the church was pushed though.... but I guess it can differ with the different groups of people too.
I'll PM you the link to the kindergym... I know its a bit far probably for you, but may give you an idea on what to look for.... PCYC's also run some kindygym's as well.
-
yay on Matilda's sleep Christy!!!! Her and Jessica sound so alike justfull of beans and maybe you should buy the equipment, imagin that everyday lol. How much does it cost each session. Ours is $8 a session plus you pay rego of $35 for the year and a $10 fee for cleaning
Welcome Erin, look forward to getting to know you better
Theresa hope the appt went well and you had a nice arvo with your friend
Mooshie- I want to give you the biggest cyber hug, bugger those IL's and the pressie from your mum sounds lovely.
Kellee- I too think newborns are a little easier to control, excpet if they don;t sleep. Poor DS having to go back to work. You know you'll be ok but itwill be sad too. Have fun at playgroup. Hope Charlie works out his sleeping.
Mel -tt is such fun lol I used a potty just at the start with Jemma cos she was only 19mths, but she soon wanted to use the toilet/ I think jess has done one wee on the potty she loves the toilet. It is hard for her as she is little I was thinking of buying the step too. I too don't like the price of pullups and just put undies on, I found if mine think they have a nappy on then they will wee and pullups are like a nappy. When they realised that the wee would run down their leg they made sure they went to the toilet lol
sorry if I missed someone have gone back as far as I can
Jordan is going to the gold coast at 6am with MIL to visit her brother, all the kids went to bed and the house is quiet. Arron is at TAFE and should be home soon. so gives me time to get on here and catch up.
I am going to the melb craft fair tomorrow should be good shame I don't have any money lol Mum wanted to go so she said she will pay for me to get in and we will only have Jess as jemma has kinder and is going to play at her friends afterwards.
hope you all have a good day
-
Someone please stop the world .... I wanna get off for a while!
Cheers
-
Is everything okay, Kelly?
-
we're not really toilet training, but Wolf peed in the toilet yesterday. Woohoo!!
It was almost bath time and I couldn't be bothered putting another nappy on for half an hour (but he had pooed... so it had to come off). I asked him if he wanted to go with or without and he said without. Told him he couldnt pee on the carpet but would have to tell me if he had to pee. Sure enough he did 5 mins later. Thought he was just repeating what i Had said, but no - to my surprise he did a little wee!!
I am actually more excited about the fact that he let me put him on the toilet without kickung up a fuss (as he used to).
He said "pee" again today when we were done with parent/kid swim at the gym but he did not pee when I put him on the toilet (but again, he was happy for me to put him on the seat)
Michelle/Mooshien - what a lovely present from your mom. Arrrg on the inlaws... how inconsiderate... did DH tell them how hurt he is? My inlaws didn't call on Wolf's first birthday last year. I was very upset. And then the next day when MIL called, she just talked and talked about SIL and did not even ask how Wolf's birthday went or wish a belated happy birthday. DH called afterwards and had a go at her - needless to say MIL cried and said that that was the reason she had called and it just slipped her mind (she had japped on to me for 50 mins about SIL... hmmm)... ANYWAY, cutting a long story short: They supposedly HAD thought of Wolf on the day but thought we would be out or whatever ... they all felt really bad... so... just trying to say.. maybe they did think of Jessica but didn't know whether it was appropriate to call or something.. OR maybe not... who knows... but DH should probably tell them.
Christy - rotfl ... wow - Wolf has never asked to sleep yet... but when knackered will go down for his nap without any fuss (chasing them around is really great, isn't it)
Hi Erin! Welcome to the grouP!
Kellee - IKWYM re. lack of social contact. I'm already signing me and the kids up for all sorts of activities in Switzerland (fingers crossed we are really moving)
I better get some sleep. We had a shocking night. It's so hot here in Europe at the momenet and Wolf and Zara don't sleep well.

hi to everyone else not much going on in lani land, she is meant to be asleep well she has been since 12.30 and i can hear her singing so i best get her up.
i will just quickly let you know what ****wits the outlaws are = brief rundown
dh is one of 5 children to 3 different fathers anyway mil thinks the sun shines out of her last child (dd) arse and her 2 kids are treated like they are the only grandchildren. there are 11 grandchildren all up, once when one of her sons came over to our house with his 3 kids, who she hadn't seen for quite a few years, she bent down and shook their hands and said hello kiddies i am your nanna pmsl she is a right knob. anyway we went to a nephews party about a month ago and i purposely told her about the great night we had the night before for my mums 60th (my mum invited dh dad and stepmum but not mil cause well she wouldn't go anyway) anyway cause mil ex dh was invited and him and his wife get along so well with my parents (they go out to dinner alot etc they have heaps in common) mil got her nose put out of joint and wouldn't speak to us, my dh wasn't fussed and he was quite ****ed of that she had previously invited dh's brother and his kids and new girlfriend to a do a few months previously and not bothered to invite us, despite my dh having not seen his brother for quite some time due to a messy breakup etc etc. well the shoe is now on the other foot and mil won't speak to us lol like we really care i guess. i got a phonecall from the golden child informing us that her ds party had to be cancelled due to her being sick this weekend and she has rescheduled it the week before lani's birthday WTF she knows that we are having a party for lani why wait that long arrhh she then informs us that their grandfather is in hospital, ***** of mil didn't even bother to ring us to tell dh that is grandfather is in hospital, so here is dh grandfather wondering why we haven't visited him - arghh i could go on and on and on about the ***** but i won't, at least my dh can't be bothered with her either. oh and i rang mil yesterday to ask about grandad and i mentioned how my parents had us over for dinner for jessica's birthday hint hint - and it just went over her head. i give up she is one crazy stupid cow.
wow that should have gone in the punching bag lol - but there you see i have one ***** of a mil, she wonders why i don't go over to her house.
whoops better go and get ready to pick up jay from school.
chat later

Yuck Michelle, how awful a situation for you, you had enough to think about this week.
Underwater world sounds like a hit Mel!
We went to the park for a massive run this morning & Matilda went to bed easily today too! Only slept for an hour & half but it was bliss having her run into her room again to go to bed. I think the key is to make her run for around an hour.... hehehehe.

Arrrrrrrg, Michelle, MIL sounds like a very crazy person.... well, at least FIL and step-Mil are okay. In big families you get to pick the ones you like :D
Kelly - I hear you on lack of sleep. I don't remember when I last slept more than 5 hours in one go. Recently it's just 2 hour naps at night and I feel like I've been run over by a truck most mornings. I think we will have to do some controlled crying with both of them and claim back our bed as our own...

I am thinking about skipping Asha day time sleep ... she doesnt go to bed until 9 and then by the time I get the kids lunches made and uniforms done and then do stuff for school it is never earlier thatn 11.30 before I crawl into bed and then the alram goes off again at 5.55 and the cycle begins again! It is so tiring and then I dont even get a break on the weekends, *sigh* ok ebough from me ... will have to come back later for personals ... need to get dinner for the kids!
Cheers

hey michelle
i was thinking of going just really for the scrapbooking stuff - is it worth just going for that???
still trying to figure out which day to go
-
oh Kelly I could so understand why you want to cut out Asha's sleep.... I hope it works for you! I have started making Matilda's day sleep shorter so I can have her in bed by 7.30pm. If she sleeps more than an hour & half she is up until 8-8.30pm and I just like having some time after she goes to bed at night to clean up & tidy up and sit down before I get up with her in the morning.
Today I have tried so hard to entertain her, its a rainy day so no going for a walk etc. I have some shopping to do but can't get organised enough to get out of the house. Everytime I dress Matilda by the time I start packing her bag, she's nude again. She keeps running to the toilet, spending 5-10 minutes on it & then hopping off only to wee around 15 minutes later.... then she runs to the toilet again & spends 5-10 minutes on it and nothing. So far I've cleaned up a wee & a poo today... not too happy about that. I'm still in my PJ's and I have friends coming over for tea tonight with their toddler so I'm trying to get the house ready for it.... urgh... overwhelming.

Oh Christy I am feeling overwhelmed today too. TT can be very annoying sometimes, hang in there. I have a bodyshop party at my place tonight and am trying to clean up and then I discovered that oit is BAS statement day and thanks to aron the bookwork is a shambles and I am sposed to be sewing an order and I am not going to get to that today.I really feel strressed. Hope you have a nice night tonight though.
Michelle- Francheville have a stand showing all their new stuff, and there are some big stands with loads of stickers, a place called Raspberry selling 3 different style of paper packs, 3 for $25 or $9.95 ea. Not sure if its worth $15 to see just the scrapping stuff though. There are other things there that are gorgeous Beeann's reborn dolls are absolutely gorgeous! I don't want to say don't go cos you might find something you want. And I will admit I didn't look very closely at prices cos I had no money lol
have fun if you go, you could just go for a day out!!!
anyway gotta go, stopped for lunch and got to keppe moving or house will be a shambles. So far I have done the dishes, tidied the kitchen, mopped and half dusted
