-
Hi everyone, I hope you're all well and your bubs are behaving well and letting you get enough sleep.
Mel, CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting for you. I'm glad Richard took the news the news well and is excited about it.
Congratulations to you too Bon on your pink bundle.
Kellee, Yasin is turning into a bit of an odd bod. He used to be very outgoing but he's become quite shy and cautious lately. I'm not too worried - that's just who he is. I am a bit worried about DH's family because they seem to think that there is something wrong with being shy and I don't want them making him feel bad about who he is. I've only just begun to see results from all the work I do in the gym and I've had to resign myself to the fact that I'll probably carry a bit extra until I stop breastfeeding. I'm also trying to keep in mind that I was probably underweight at what I consisdered my ideal weight so I'll never be that slim again.
Jo, we're going to see The Wiggles too. Yasin has suddenly got right into them. We're taking DH's niece and sister too. We forgot to get a present so I just lied and said it was because we were taking them to The Wiggles.
I'm single parenting tonight. DH is at TAFE 2 nights a week now and has decided to work on saturday nights (to pay off the car he bought me) which leaves me alone 3 nights a week. I'm always very happy when I get both the boys off to sleep because every now and then we hit a night where they both keep each other awake. They interact more and more now and its so cute to watch them together. Imran is just crazy about Yasin - he watches him all the time and he thinks he's really funny. Fingers crossed that Yasin sets a good example for him.
-
well I have not been getting notifications and so have had to catch up oin a weeks news.
wow things are happening!
Mel huge congrats to you, so happy for you all and hope all goes well for your pg and your move too. Eliana will be so excited I bet.
hi to everyone
I have read your news but have not much time to post atm.
We have sickies everywhere atm
Jemma was chucking yesterday, Josh has a throat and ear infection, Jordan is coughin but still at school, and Jess is just recovering from the cold, she was chucking too.
So all fun and games here.
hugs
-
OMG Michelle, 4 sickies at once  that's got to be tough on you....
-
Michelle... I know you just have to survive those times, but I can't imagine going through it.
Matilda came home from day care with a runny nose today. I groaned when I saw her... its been going around but everyone else has finished it so I thought we were in the clear, no such luck. She's been having the vitamen c & echinecia tablets but I skipped the weekend... ah well.
-
Oh Michelle I hope everyone is starting to get better at your place!
Mel - that's cool about moving to Northlakes, I live about 10 mins from there and go to the shops there all the time! That's great that DP was excited.
Christy - love those runny noses...my kids got sick two weeks ago and are better now but still have those runny noses, especially Grace. It's starting to clear up now, though.
Dach - It's lovely when they interact well - Grace is like Imran, she thinks Harry is hilarious and he loves playing up to her. Of course they don't always get along! But I think Harry does set a good example for her, although he has started bossing her around - I think he imitates me  I hope they cope well with the new baby...
Well hope everyone is well.
-
Yeah unfortunately the runny nose turned more sinister during the night, going to a green discharge yuck. She's a bit run down today so cancelled all plans for a home sick day. Back into our pj's and tv on ;)
-
Hi gals, just a quickie ... it's my bday today and DH has the day off, so I can't be on long!
Had the best present from Freya last night, she slept from 7pm till 5.15am...wow, she has never even come close to that! Went shopping this morning to pick out my present, got a new dress for summer. Then went out for lunch, so has been a great day!
So sorry to hear about all the sickness...hope everyone makes a quick recovery.
BTW, Mel, glad that Richard took the news well and woohoo for moving to North Lakes, some of our friends live there and it is lovely, such a nice area to bring up kids.
-
Hi girls
Christy- what a bummer Matilda is sick again, nothing wrong with PJ days lol, they happen alot round here, although I am never in mine lol, sometimes not even much at night.
I was cutting material and stuffing around with the sewing machine till 1.45am and then had to get up at 6.45 when Jemma and Jess were both up. AARGH! My back is sore from bending over on the floor and cutting material too. Jess is all better and so is Jemma. Josh took his medicine to school today and Jordan is looking like she got through it too. So on the mend. Arron is at school tonight so it is just me and he was fishing till 8pm yesterday so barely sen him really lol always the way it goes.
I am reading all the goss but just can't seem to take it all in to do personals. Sorry girls.
I do remeber your Birthday though Jo- so glad Freya was nice to you and sounds like a lovely day too. Hope you have as good a night too.
Michelle- I have started scrapping again. Did 15 pages in 3 days, and still cutting stuff up atm. Of course the house isn't quite clean as I am doing that and sewing ut too bad, I have all day and night to clean lol
OK hugs to everybody
-
Hello girls,
just a quick one from me. Things have been a bit mad here with the impending move etc. All well here aside from WOlf and Zara being a bit snotty. Zara had a 38.8 deg fever yesterday, this morning it was down to 38. I hope she is getting better. WOlf has slept through 2 nights in a row (maybe because of the cold? dunno... I hope it's here to stay) and Zara gave us 2 shocking nights - very whingy. LAst night wasn't toooooooooo bad, she woke like 3-4 times crying, but the night before she woke like 7 times or so... it was a shocker!
Oh, I hear someone going "Mama, arm!" better get going!
Snowy

Hey Snowy
when is moving day
Hope your kiddies get better soon. I had Josh go to bed ealry saying he was hot and he slept through dinner. Then he woke up and was crying and carrying on, saying his legs were too sore to walk and his head hurt. In the end I was mad with him cos he was just being over the top. I gave him panadol and he ended up going back to bed. he said he felt like he wpuld throw up so he has a bucket and towels just in case. Man I hope he doesn't start chucking too.
well I am about to go to bed, very tired lol No wonder.
bye
-
How did your night go Michelle? Hope Josh is ok and there was no spew.
Snowy, glad to hear Wolf is sleeping well, hope Zara follows suit for you!
-
Hello everyone! Wow, I still seem to miss out on so much on this forum… every time I check there’s another page to read! You naughty chatty things.
Jo – I thought you looked great the other day! I really liked your top too. We can be dorks together. LOL Wow at Kaleb sleeping so much. I know that Charlie tends to sleep a bit more when he’s going through a growth spurt – could Kaleb be doing the same thing? Hope you go well at the markets tomorrow. And happy birthday for the other day too! What a good girl Freya is for giving you such a nice present. Right, she needs to teach Toby a thing or two!
Bon – you must be getting so excited! What ideas do you have for names? I can’t imagine what it would be like to have a girl, but I suppose it’s nothing new to you. Hope Grace still sleeps a bit in the arvos for you when your pink bundle comes along. That time will be nice for you.
Sherie – poor little Paige! I don’t think you should feel bad about it at all. I had a similar situation with Charlie last year and the dr said it was perfectly understandable that you could mistake bronchiolitis for a cold. We do the best we can. I hope she’s feeling better soon.
Mel – I’m so glad that you and DP have sorted things out and that breaking the news went well. North Lakes is lovely – my brother works at the golf course out there (he’s an apprentice pro golfer) and we’ve gone out to visit him a few times and I’ve remarked to Mum about how much I’d love to live there! So have you got m/s? Bugger. Glad that Eliana had a good time at day care, even if you didn’t cope so well!
Dach – that’s a shame that the outlaws think there’s something ‘wrong’ with Yasin because he’s shy. Some people just are, that’s all. Good work going to the gym too! Do you leave the kids in the crèche there? So cute to hear about your boys interacting. Charlie has just started giggling when Toby laughs, which is cute. He also wanted Toby to come down the slide with him at playgroup today. I love my boys! Hope you guys enjoy the Wiggles. I’d love to go to a Wiggles concert but Charlie is scared of them. Bugger.
Mitch – aagghh, your poor little sick family! I hope they’re feeling better soon. I can handle most things but I don’t deal so well with vomiting. Not looking forward to all the illnesses the kids will get. Yuck.
Christy – poor Matilda. It’s really the time for kids to be sick atm, isn’t it? What’s going on with your ticker?
Snowy – gosh, you sound flat out! How long until the move now? I hope that Zara is feeling better.
Well, big weekend this weekend. Almost SIL’s kitchen tea tomorrow (I’m organising it) so I’ll be baking all night tonight. Then the outlaws are coming over to help DH with some work around the house and I’m making them lunch for Father’s Day, then my family are coming over for Father’s Day dinner. It never stops, does it? Hope the kids behave for me too!
Oops, I hear a little tiny cry. Hope you’re all well.
-
Kellee we all miss out ;) I miss out all the time on what is going on & I'm here all the time LOL. I don't know whats going on with my ticker, sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't LOL... sort of like me.
Things are going well here, Matilda's still sick and I've been a bit sick as well. Father's Day, I don't even know what to do LOL. I had Matilda do some really cool paintings & I was going to print out a poem & stick it on one and get a photo done of Matilda & Pete & put it on another so the paintings are the background... bit arty so I'm hoping it works & I can find a frame or do something with them.
-
Christy- sounds like a lovely present to me.
Kellee- don't worry I am a bit out of the loop too atm, just can't seem to put everyones news into my head and have it stay there lol
Well the baby (my baby) turns 2 tomorrow. So I am very sad, had a little teary this morning when I was giving her cuddles. I don't know what I will do when she gets even bigger. It is so hard to be at the end of having kids and know there will be no more. I rea;lly envy you girls who are just starting lol, don't get me wrong I love all my kids, just love the baby stage so much and feel so sad to think I will never be a new mummy again , *sob sob* Enough blubbering! well as Jess was born on my cousins dbay we have a party for her 21stat the pub for lunch tomorrow and we will have a get together for jess in the late arvo/night. So a big long day it will be lol but fun too cos jess will get to see everyone in the family for her bday this year.
Ireally need to clean up but am waiting for the seing machine man to come and show me how to pull my machine apart. I am having a tension problem as threads are stuck in the top tenisoner, bbut I didn't want to pull it apart and muck it up, so he is going to come and show me how to do it properly, luckily he is one of FIL's mates. So he should be here soon, if he's not here in bout 15mins I will get arron to call him and see where he is. I have towels to embroider for my cousins bday present tonight. Plus I want to sew more xmas designs.sewed a complete set so need to do some others.
Have scrapped madly the past few days and did 17pages bf I ran out of doublesided tape lol Prob won't touch it again now till next week
Jo- Josh woke up and threw up and was really sick all day yesterday. He had a temp this morning but has been up and around so hopefully he is feeling better tomorrow. he also has an ear infection to fight so the gastro was something he didn't need.
hope you all have a lovely weekend
hugs Michelle
-
Just popping in to say I hope you have a wonderful day today Tegan!!!
-
I can't wait to see the photos!! Tegan congratulations!
-
Hello girls,
popping in again quickly. My mom was just here with SIL and her two kids (my brother's wife and kids). It was fun as the girl is same age as Wolf (6 weeks older) and the boy 2 years older, so great playmates. He actually doesn't like Mia much (I do have to say that she is quite a piece of work, she hits a lot and is quite violent in general and very loud and chucks heaps of temper tantrums) but he loves Till and the two of them just play for hours on end together.
Zara is still coughing. Poor thing. Thanks for all the well wishes! The fever is finally gone though, so that's good. The nights have still been crap... Wolf's sleeping through of course did not last.... bugger...
Michelle - happy (belated) birthday, Jess!! Hope you had a great day! What did you do? I am wondering whether we should make a big(ger) party for Wolf in Nov in Oz or not...
Don't apologise for feeling sad over your baby growing up. I look at Zara and she is 6 months and sitting up and eating solids and I keep thinking "yeah, I want another one" I love the baby face, I love the newborn part especially - when they are so tiny and ... awwwwwwwe I better shut up. This is when I fell pregnant last time... 6 months after Wolf's birth... so I better cross my legs and not think about that ... lol.
I hope Josh is doing better.
Arrr, miss cranky pants is crying again... she is just sooooo cranky with that cold... what happend to my content little sleeper?
(5 mins later)
ANyway, where was I
Tegan .. can't wait to see some piccies!!!
oh, re. the move: we are moving at the end of September. I am not looking fwd to it... well, the move that is... cause I'll be doing all of the packing (naturally... why is it that it's always the women stuck with the crap-work?) Still waiting for a semi-decent quote that isn't half an average annual salary... you just get ripped off here in London for everything...
We also gave notice this week to our tenants in Manly. I am soooooooo excited about reclaiming our property! Whoopie! We will move our stuff back in in the beginning of Nov so it's all ready for our return to Oz in mid/late Nov! (going back for 3 months, very excited!)
Wolf is doing well. He is talking and talking so much in both German and English. Some words he still can't quite say (he keeps saying "Hokla" for "Helicopter") but others are really understandable (I hope at least... or maybe it's just me who understands what he says, lol)
Do you get Fireman Sam in Australia? Well, he has replaced Bob the Builder currently as favourite. We have bought 3 DVDs and Wolf gets to watch 1 in the morning and DH, Zara and I get to sleep another 45 mins while he watches happily in our bed. I feel a bit bad using the DVD as a babysitter but 6 o'clock is just WAY too early for me ....
Snowy
-
hey irls
Snowy I didnt know you were returning to Australia, is it just a long holiday and then to switzerland or have things changed. PMSL at the crossing of your legs lol. Are you planning on more kids? The thing is having babies is easy to me, its as they get older affording them, like now I have 2 t school and it is expensive, imagine when there are 4at school!! We didn't have a big party for Jess, but you having a party when you get back to Aust sounds like a good idea. Do you have lots of family here? My kids get a big 1st bday and then a big 5th (with friends) and then my plan is a big 13th to celebrate teenagerism pmsl It just gets too expensive Jess and Jemma's 1st bdays cost us bt $300 and $400. Arrons mum is from a big family and most have kids now so we end up with more than 100 people every time
Tegan- hope you had a beautiful day and gt loads of gorgeous pics. Can't wait to see them either. Hope you are getting some sort of honeymoon too.
we had such a busy weekend and fathers day went well
hope all your dh's had a good fathers day too

-
Hi Girls, sorry it's been a while since I've posted. We have had family/friends visiting every weekend for a month and it dosn't stop until mid October - then the spring racing starts and then it's Christmas but I will try harder. I need to do a massive house clean so don't have time to type heaps but wanted to congratulates Mel on your bubba - it's so exciting and sounds like everything is going your way! Have a great day girls!
-
hey girls
guerss what I did today
I rode 10klms on the exercise bike, lol it is the 2nd time I have been on it since I got it for xmas
I am planning to do that everyday for the next couple of weeks, tryin to shape up.
Oh MEl I hope you feel better soon and it doesn't last long MS is just so awful isn't it?
Nikbrad- sounds like you are very busy, hope you do get someresting time LOL hope I do to
well I have worked out what date e will fly to Mackay next April so now will just try to fis the cheapest flights I can. ATM they Are $215 each and we have to pay for 6 airfares, that is one way, so I was hoping to get then for about $200 or less. I thnk I will just wait and see what happens with the next sale, the last sale only went till March 07 so there should be a sale soon which includes APRIL.
well I think I will head off to bed, feeling buggered, left arron to write an assignment and visited 2 gfs to deliver things they were paying me to sew. So did some chatting tonight which was nice.
hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow
-
Hi all, I have had a horrible cold the last few days so have been MIA, but am feeling much better now. Got sunburnt when I did the markets on Saturday, which didn't help - when will I learn?
Unfortunately Freya's mega sleep was a one-off, she has been all over the place since. Kaleb is good. When we were at the pub last week, they had a magna doodle in the playroom that he loved. I got one through the Heinz baby food label thing last year but put it away because it was for ages 3+, but I got it out and took all the magnet bits out, and Kaleb loves it, he carries it everywhere, and he can draw to his heart's content with no mess!
OK, sounds like nap time is over already, but will be back to do personals soon! Hope you are all well!
-
I love magna doodles too Jo, the no mess and no running out of paper or having pencils to sharpen is great. What a bugger Freya didn't continue her sleep pattern, but at least she was nice to you for one night.
Went to gym, stopped at a gfs and then came home to sew. Was planning to meet an old school friend tomorrow but she has had to cancel again so will be next week now. People just have such busy lives it's hard to fit everything in. Josh has gone to play at a friends and while I was out arron vacced the house and I pmsl cos the vac is so ****ty, and as soon as he finished he asked me how much money we had cos he wants to go buy a new vac. Ours is a piece of crap. But I said no cos we just don't hve the money
My plan is to get another one when we pay enough of the fridge off to fit it ont he buyers edge interest free card. Which isn't now.
anyway best keep moving, hope all the bubs are looking after their mummies and daddies LOL
-
Michelle - yep, just a quick stop in Oz. We'll be there for 2.5 months roughly. Luckily we can work from anywhere in the world as long as we have internet connection. We will basically move to Switzerland and then after a month go to Oz... bit hectic and not much time to settle in but hey...
Mel, lol, yep, I know once is enough = Zara.... :D SO I am definitely crossing my legs this time.
NOt much to report from this end. Had a horrific night with DH throwing up 4 times. I hope it was food poisoning and not a bug... don't want Wolf and Zara to get sick. The kids slept through... doH! totally wasted on me... of course...
Snowy
-
oh Snowy hope your Dh fels better soon. What a bummer missing out on a good nights sleep. Sounds like you have an amazingly interesting life, with all the country hopping you guys have done.
My back is so sore nad so are my legs, I think 10klms was a bit far straight off, I think I may need to down grade myself to 5klms a day until I build up some fitness. I also have a problem with a muscle in my abdomen, I went to do a sit up and my muscle right up nea my ribs cramped, it is very scary. I am thinking I should go to the drs, arron says it is due to my abdominal mucsles being so weak. Hope I can strengthen them cos I don't like the feeling
-
Howdy all,
Gosh, I really must get on here more often! You gals are just too fast for me. You type too much! I thought I’d better post here before I go away on the weekend or I would have an entire thread to read by the time I get back! I’ll do my best to do personals while I’m letting Bob The Builder babysit (naughty Mummy!), but I’m not sure how long I’ll have! Here goes…
Mitch – HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA! My goodness – how time flies! And good girl on the exercise bike. I did 15 kms today and some weight and an hour and a half walk! I hope that you see some results soon. What a cute pic of Jessica too.
Jo – sorry you haven’t been feeling well. Bugger Freya getting your hopes up too! I hate it when they do that. Good idea with the magna doodle. Might have to get one for my man.
Tegan – congratulations! I hope you had a lovely day and I can’t wait to hear about it.
Snowy – Glad you and the kids had a good time with SIL’s family. It would be nice for the kids to have family so close in age. Mine are the only grandkids on either side so poor little Charlie gets a bit lonely sometimes. LOL at feeling clucky too. Toby is only 3 months old and I still feel clucky sometimes! There must be something wrong with us… Poor DH. And why do kids always know the worst times to sleep? Little buggers!
Mel – would love to catch up when you’re back in Brisbane. North Lakes is only about half an hour away from me and I could come and visit you and meet my brother for lunch or something. Sorry to hear that you’ve got m/s. Did you have it for long with Eliana? Hope it’s short-lived.
Sorry if I’ve missed anyone. Not much has been happening here. The weight is finally starting to come off – I’ve lost about 8 kg so far and have four more left to go. I reckon I can do that in 4 weeks. Shame I won’t be nice and toned, but that’s what happens when you have kids and then have a wedding to go to so soon after. Charlie is being really great. He’s doing an alphabet puzzle as I type and he’s doing so well. He’s starting to say a few more words – a version of “Bob” (as in The Builder) and “egg” – but only with a lot of convincing. I hope he starts saying a bit more soon (this takes his total number of ‘words’ to seven) otherwise I’ll get worried. He’s also not as worried any more about Toby crying which is WONDERFUL. Makes life so much easier. He doesn’t wake up in the night when Toby cries anymore so he’s getting a bit more sleep and he’s happier. We’re setting up an area downstairs that he can run around in (when DH finally cleans out the garage to make some room) so he’ll have fun when we get that done. We’re going away on the weekend with my Mum, Dad, brother and almost SIL for my Dad’s 50th, and we’ll be able to take Charlie to the beach which will be lovely. Don’t write too much while I’m away or I’ll have too much to catch up on!
Anyway, I’ll stop waffling now. I’d better switch off Bob, even though someone will be unimpressed! Hope you’re all well.
-
Hi everyone, hope you're all having a lovely day. The wind here in Brissy is shocking today, was going to take the kids to the park but don't fancy going out in this weather.
Kellee, hope you have a fantastic weekend away! Glad to hear Charlie is doing so well, what a relief re: Toby's crying. Kaleb still gets the odd moment where he joins in too, but it's definitely less than before.
Snowy, hope DH is better now and that the kids avoided it! Bugger about missing out on a sleep-through night, how typical is that!
Mitch, how's your ab muscle going? It does sound a bit scary, did you go to the dr? My ab muscles separated when I was pg...they did with Kaleb, I worked on getting them back together only for them to split like a banana skin when I was pg with Freya. Anyway, the physio said sit ups were out till I get them tight again, so maybe this is what's happening with you?
Took Kaleb on a train for the first time yesterday...had to go into town to do a pre-election ballot for Saturday's state election, and Kaleb has just started developing a fascination with trains, so thought it'd be a good opportunity. He loved it, he was absolutely spellbound the whole way...ah, the simplest things!
-
Hey Jo it does sound like what happened to me, what did you do to strengthen them, cos I need to do somthing. Arron asked the lady at the gym and she agreed with what you said. Clever girl you are. Now I have a lump on the side of my boob bt the armpit and boob, I think it is a muscle, prob from my bra rubbing, it is very sore, and of course when you feel a lump you thiink of the big C so I am a little stressed, but almost sure it is nothing. I am going to see if the pain goes away by mon and if not will head to the drs lol. Sounds like I am falling apart.
So no rral personals, flying through as usual.
Jess had her 2y health ass, she is 83.5cms and 10.76kgs so still small lol Oh well didn't expect much but thought she would be at least 11kgs. SHe staced 11 blocks in a tower which the MCHN thought was very good lol, but she refused to kick a ball or throw it either. So our little chicy is still little although prob advanced in most other areas.
Just finished paying bills online and need to do some tidying and then gonna fire up the sewing machine AGAIN!! Have more ideas than time in the day lol Made a price list last night and found I had things on it I haven't yet made lol Better do that soon I guess
see ya
-
hi everyone
well yes i have been very very slack - sorry everyone, good to hear you are all doing well and a big happy birthday to jess. michelle i am guessing lani's weight will be much the same when i get her weighed next week lol - we certainly have a couple of lighweights on our hands.
okay sorry for no personals, you guys must think i am a snob but i am not honestly and just a little to preoccupied with the ttc threads atm, but i should try and change that cause it is not getting me anywhere lol.
anyway things are going well here, lani has had the snots this week but looks like it is gone, very nice to go in to her in the morning and find snot stuck all over her face and her hair stuck on it lol - can't be very nice for her. her hair is so long now that if the fringe is out it goes down to her mouth lol, i still won't get it cut - i am lucky she doesn't mind me putting her hair up at all (have been doing it from very early on) and she loves head bands and she keeps them on which is a bonus. only thing is i have tried a few times to braid her hair but she keeps moving her head (that kid is never still lol)
went out for lunch today which meant little miss didn't have her nap so she was in bed at 7 tonight very tired poor love, but she was good, she misses a nap and takes a few days to catch up.
well she will be 2 next friday (omg i can't believe how quickly that has gone) it truly seems to get quicker with each child, she runs around saying lani 2 lani 2 - so that is cute. we are having a "family" party for her on saturday - we always do a family type party just finger food etc, however family is now stretching to nearly 50 people, but i guess i have set a precident as ds always has a family party every year and then every 2nd year he has a family party plus a friends party - oh well i don't mind and it doesn't have to be too expensive dh does a heap of snags on the bbq and i get people to bring stuff and i buy from a wholesale place frozen type finger food so thats okay plus i love the kids having the parties and seeing their cousins.
anyway i will stop chatting now and get a move on, just realised my big fat greek wedding is on and i love that movie so i might go and watch it again
have a great weekend

Hi everyone, very quiet in here, I guess everyone had a busy weekend?
Mooshie, wow at Lani being 2...hope the party goes really well, what a huge family you have! That's a good tip re: putting up their hair from early on, I shall have to try that out with Freya.
Now Mitch, how's that lump going? I hope you decided to have it checked out, just in case. With the abs thing - it's called rectis diastasis...I've been trying to look on the net for you for some exercise instructions because I am bad at explaining. Basically what I do is get down on all fours and (as my physio described it) pull my belly button in towards my spine. You hold it for 5 then let go, and repeat 10 times. Trick is to keep breathing while you're doing it. If you see your dr, they'll probably be able to give you some more info.
All good here...Freya slept through last night for the 2nd time ever, so I am feeling like a new woman today! Kaleb has been great, he has learned to say 'Freya' now which is very cute!

AWWW Jo how gorgeous of kALEB SAYING fREYA!! OOPs hit the caps lol. Well the lump disapeared, I thought it was a muscle thing, tank goodness, the pain was gone by saturday morning. I know the exercise you mean I am going to give it a go. But my really good news is I won 2nd prize in the netball raffle, a 3 mth gym membership YAY so hopefully they can help me fix myself up, lol can't go faling apart now, cos I have so much to do lol I did a scrapbooking demo on SUnday so that was exciting.
Michelle- hope Lani's party is cool, ahh our babies are almost big aren't they. I LOL at our girls being so similar in every way.
Gotta go eat I am starving, arron is fishing so may get back later

Still here ladies ... just really quiet, which is strange for me. Life is as hectic as always, especially with work and running around after the kids.
I have pretty much decided that we won't have anymore kids ... I am sad about it but I am really struggling to cope with the three I have, so I guess I will have to be happy with our lot!
Better go ... need some sleep another busy day at work tomorrow.
Cheers

hi girls
just back from health centre for lani's 2 yr old check and all doing well she is 11.8kgs with clothes on so i am guessing that is okay nearly 2kgs gain in around 6mths. she is also 89cms tall so looks like she is going to be long and lean like her brother.
not much else going on around here, just getting busy preparing for the family party, so i guess most of the week i will be cleaning.
kelly - its such a hard decision regarding whether to have any more or not. i would love another one hoewver as lani is reaching 2 and i am nearing 38 yrs old i am thinking it is just about time to hang up the babymaking factory, dunno yet i guess we will just keep up without using protection having said that tho i don't think i could really have a "surprise" baby in a few years, i honestly don't think i would have the staminia.
michelle - yes our girls are alike at least your jessica seems to eat food, i think lani lives on air lol ah well she is going great guns with everything else.
must go as i said heaps to do so little time, hi to all hpoe you are all well

Hey Michelle- I am alwasy sending babydust your way, hoping it will just happen. Lani is heaps taller than Jess and also heavier lol the weight gain for Jess in the last 6 mths was 70gms so sounds good to me lol, she mustn't need food to grow lol I think Jess burns up her food as she is eating it.
Kelly- good to hear from you, it is hard working FT and having the kids too isn't it. It is a hard decision when to stop isn't it. Arron has booked his vasectomy for 10th October. I am happy and sad about it, means that we have finally decided that we are done, which I am sure is what I want but it is a final thing. Means though I can gt off the pill and we won't have to stress anymore about protection.
well Gymnastics today, then visited my old work and came home, tea was late and I am feeling very tired. Kids are all in pjs ready for bed, and I feel like doing that too lol. my back is sore and I need to rest lol, but I also need to sew and make a design catalogue lol. Never ends really.
I am having lunch tomorrow with an old school friend who I haven't seen for about 16yrs, can't wait
have a good one

am reading but never seem to find the time to make a decent post these days ... sorry girls... just too much packing up to do over the next 2 weeks (aaaaaaaarg) and then I always get sidetracked... like this morning I found some photos from Wolf's christening and decided to best put them in the album before I lose them again ... oh and then... well... suddenly it's 3 hours later and the box is still not packed and I am looking at baby photos instead ... doh!
I am also back at doing sport. I ran 3 times last week and am hoping to crank it up to 5 times a week. Also want to do Yoga again when I'm back in Oz .. but when you have a crap night like I did last night (Wolf woke at 1:30, then Zara at 4, then Wolf awake from 4:45 to 5:30), you don't have much energy for anything else... with or without nanny. I am just glad I have the nanny as I have no idea how the hell I would pack up our household while looking after my crazy munchkins. And Zara is such a handful!!! She never naps for more than 15 mins and you actually need one person (=me) just for her, while our nanny is out with Wolf.
Anyway... as to more kids... yes.. sometime.. but not before Wolf goes to kindy!!!

Hi everyone, just want to say :confetti: Happy Birthday! to Lani and Jess. Can't believe it's been 2 years since we all had our babies!
-
hey Bon time flies doesn't it!! You are inh the home stretch for your pg which must feel good.
And you don't have to tell me, my eldest turned 12 yesterday, and she is just so grownup this year, like teenagerism hits early lol. She got an ipod nano off us and has constantly had it in her ear so when you talk to her she can't hear...convenient lol.
Jess just geta cuter everyday, she kept telling everyone last night it was her bday lol and then blew out jordans candles bf she could
I am planning to cut material today, arron has taken joshua fishing in the boat for the first time so I am a bit nervous about that. And I have to drop over mums later. Have not been to the gym yesterday or today but planning to go tomorrow sometime.
Hope you are all having a great weekend

I just watched Steve Irwin's memorial service now I feel sad! When John Williamson sang True Blue I got all teary so the kids climbed on my lap and gave me cuddles! And seeing Terri Irwin look so upset...I blame the pg hormones. They didn't know what was happening - Harry just thought it was another Steve Irwin show, but he liked seeing Anthony from the wiggles and all the animals.
Well I am in the home stretch of this pg now, looking forward to having the baby but also nervous, anxious etc about the labour and then the prospect of having 3 kids!
I can't believe Grace is nearly two... she is getting more grown up every day but she is still my baby. Well that won't be for much longer, as I will have a new baby quite literally, but I will still see her as my baby. I still see Harry as my baby, he hates it when I sometimes call him baby - he says "Mummy I am not a baby I am a boy!" Oops sorry! This is definitely our last, I think 3 is a nice number of kids to have, but I know that in a few years time it is going to be hard to resist those feelings. Stephen knows I will be like that - he keeps emphasising the fact that this is our LAST. Yes dear, I know that.
I just hope we have no issues with jealousy from Grace. We didn't with Harry when I had her, he seemed to take it in his stride, but she is a different personality to him. Well, we'll see I guess!
