Trish congratulations on your pregnancy. I'm sure DP will be okay in the end just remind him it does take two and he did have a part in it all.
I'm going to hate it when Alex is out of nappies if i am having trouble now with his clothes. I don't think he will be tt for a while yet anyway he still doesn't mind wet or poo nappies on. I'm thinking of changing to cloth so that might help thing along.
-
Trish - Hugs to you :hugs: , it must be so hard for you atm. Grrr @ Mark telling you previously that if you fell pregnant he`d want you to terminate, he should now you better then that!!!! Do you think he has any inkling that you may be UTD? Obviously he doesn`t ask you each and every day if AF has turned up like Mark does with me. Keep us updated with everything and GL for when you do tell Mark. As for me yes AF did turn up very late, now all I`m getting from Mark is has AF stopped  , he was getting a bit worried as to where AF had got to LOL
Michelle - Great to see you in here ;) Matthew is wearing a lot of his size 1 jeans because of the falling down problem of his size 2 pants but his size 1 pants are more like 3/4 pants now.
Melanie - OMG at Tom sleeping so well from 4pm, that`s unheard of in this household. Glad to hear Jack is starting to settle for you after the move.
Belinda - With our main doors, being an old house they are up quite high so Matthew can`t reach them at all but the screen door is another thing, he`s been opening that up for months and car doors is another handle he`s been opening up in the last 6 weeks, so all cars have to be locked at all times.
Eryn - Matthew went through the stage of getting up on the kitchen table too, just keep getting him down and tell him how dangerous it is up there for him, he`ll get the picture eventually and the novelty will wear off.
As I said to Trish AF finally turned up, it got a bit annoying by Mark asking me every day if AF had turned up yet. Myself and the two little boys have got colds atm, the poor little sausages aren`t very happy today, poor boys can`t breath.
Both the big boys have got baby birds, Alister has a budgie and Michael has a ****ateil, they brought them over here with them for the school holidays, Matthew isn`t too sure what to make of these birds, I put the ****ateil onto his arm, he was so funny, wouldn`t move at all, or smile only the eyes were moving LOL He`s quite fascinated by them, so are the cats!!!!! Have to be so careful they aren`t out together, that`s all we want two dead birds, I don`t think their mother would be too happy.
Hope you all had a great easter
-
Wow at your news Trish and congratulations :) i hope that it all works out ok and you get the support you need and deserve
I had a scare myself and did actually test today but bfn, which i am pleased about, still thinking of number 4 but not just yet, had scared me into being very careful in future anyhow, well i hope lol
Dee: hope the birds are still flying and not in any cats bellies lol, and sounds like matthew was quiet intriqued by them, glad AF finally showed up for you if thats what you wanted
Michelle: you could try really cheap disposables during the day as well, they feel it more then, huggies and stuff are just too absorbant and they dont feel uncomfortable and wet i believe, although been awhile since i tt'ed lol, Luke pretty well much done it without much prompting, Mason just goes and sits on toilet to play with the toilet roll lol
Had a scare here last night, 2am and i hear noises in the garage, so think its richard my nephew coming home, then as i walk toward the garage i remember he doesnt have a key to garage, so i am thinking what the? then i see a blonde head in there, Mason had got out of bed, went into garage and was using a screwdriver to try and open DH's cabinet, aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh to that child! Then this morning luke heard the kitchen draw (we have kitchen gated but he can sometimes get gate off) so luke runs out and Mason has a huge carving knife and starts swinging it around at luke! glad that ended well, going to have to move to a padded house with this kid, makes me realise how great Luke was as a toddler now, wish i had of enjoyed that time more!
Went to a birthday party today and it was at a great park, kids had a ball, well until Mason got carried back by a lady and he was crying, he had been kicked in the face by a kid on a swing, ouch, so i said to other party parents i better keep a better eye on him dont want the other mother bringing him back again
Otherwise the kids were all really good, Cooper was a cling on when we got home though, my body is aching, he is sooo heavy!
-
Wow Trish, what a surprise! Firstly, congratulations. Despite the worry this has caused with the timing, I know you did want another baby and will welcome this new little person with love regardless of the outcome with DP. Also, good luck for telling DP. I can certainly understand why you are putting it off. I do think you should tell him soon though. He has betrayed your trust recently, I think atm honesty between you both is probably pretty important. You are a great mum and this little one will be very lucky to join your clan. I certainly hope that things go the one you would like.
I guess now that I think about it, Tom sleeping for 12 hours (except for a dream feed) is pretty amazing. Jack was a great sleeper and slept through from 6 weeks, but even he wouldn't have gone down so early. With Tom, I can't keep him up at any longer as he is just too tired, even though he nearly always has 2 really long day time sleeps. It's not all good though, while I like being able to cook and eat dinner etc, I think DH misses out on a lot as Tom is always asleep by the time he gets home. DH used to bath Jack every night when he got home and have one on one time, but he hasn't had that with Tom. DH definitely hasn't bonded with Tom yet like he did with Jack. I wish DH could have more time with Tom so hopefully he'll start going down later soon (but still sleeping for 12 hours LOL!!).
It sounds like I am not the only one experiencing the terrible twos atm. It seems to have happened all at once for a few of us LOL!
I have been MIA for a while as we are still busy unpacking (although we are nearly there now) and bcos we have VERY slow internet atm. We have to wait for someone to move out of the area so we can get broadband as the exchange is full AAAGGHHH. Therefore, apologies to anyone I have missed with personals, I am a bit behind and don't really have time to catch up now. I hope everyone is well!

Hi girls :)
Sorry I haven't dropped in for a while.
Belinda... LOL at Mason, naughty boy he is!! Bit scary about the knife tho!!
Dee, how are the birds? I am thinking about getting a bird... not sure what yet. I would love another ****y, but not in town, too noisy!! Maybe a Galah, or a ****atiel.
Melanie, glad youare almost unpacked... it can be a nightmare huh?
Trish, no matter what DH says he would like you to do with this pregnancy, doesn't mean you have to!! You know bub safely tucked away, so I am still not sure why you are scared to tell him??
Anyway... Violet didn't want to wear a nappy to bed two nights ago... she is getting too big :( Needless to say she wet the bed...lol She had a nappy last night, and I have no plans for her sleeping without one... she is still in her cot so can't get out to go to the loo. I have no plans for a big bed... she's too naughty!! LOL
Also I have quickly discovered that she is a snot eater!!! YUCK!! She had a cold last week and still has a bit of a stick nose, and she is always at it... I tell her off, but... urgh!! It just awful!!
Anyway... tl
Tanya

eeeeeeeeewwwww Tanya at the snot eating lol
And i would have Mason in the cot for another year if i could, but needed it for Cooper, should just bought another cot i think, would of been better but ah well
Melanie: Glad you are nearly all packed, and yah for good sleepers, Cooper is a great overnight sleeper, Mason still wakes up all night, but thats because we need to get rid of his bottle he wakes for, dreading doing that, but thinking i might start saying big boys dont have bottles or something to start off
Also meant to say, Mason goes to gymbaroo and they are going to put him up to the older age group early cause they think he would do better there and he is moving up to the older daycare room for the same reason, so i am really proud of him, now if he would just stop being naughty life would be good :)
-
Long time not chat huh guys?! I'm still hanging round, reading every day just barely enough time to scratch myself let alone post LOL!
Zander has just gotten a pair of his 2 year old molars, without batting an eyelid :) I had no idea until I was brushing his teeth the other day & caught a glimpse of them. He's not happy with me spending time on the computer at the moment so I have to do it only when he's asleep, but it has meant that he is so much better behaviour wise which is great. Aaaand he's finally growing some hair LOL! He looks so cute with it too hehe!
-
Thanks for thinking of me with the unpacking - yes it is a horrible job. We won't be moving again anytime soon LOL!
Sarah, Jack is the same, he hates me spending time on the PC. Yay for the teeth without a fuss. Tom's first 2 teeth were like that but we sure know about Jack's 2 yo molars LOL!
At least one of your boys is sleeping well Belinda!!
Trish, I'm thinking of you. Hoping everything goes well for you.
Yesterday when we pulled into the garage after shopping Jack said to me "want mummy drive back, want mummy drive back". I asked him where he wanted me to drive back to, and he said the other house. I told him that this is home now and we won't be going back to the other house. He started crying and asked "other house, why not, why not stay in other house?" Poor little kid. I had no idea how to explain to a 2 year old why we moved! Hopefully he'll get used to being here soon.
-
Belinda - OMG @ Mason. Yay for going up a class at Gymbaroo.
Tanya - The birds are still alive and kicking, they are really lovely, I think the ****atiel is just beautiful. We`ve had a galah previously but I must admit I didn`t like it at all. Oh my Violet is growing up, perhaps she could give Matthew a few pointers, he seems to have gone backwards and is now quite happy to run around with a dirty nappy on and they say you can TT them quicker in cloth naps, I truly think they have to be ready themselves. Icky @ the snot eater, Matthew has in the last week discovered he has a hole in his nose LOL
Sarah - Hello :D Yay for Zander and his 2 teeth and double yay for the hair.
Melanie - Yuck @ the unpacking, I`m glad it`s you and not me!!!!
Hmmm I feel like a neglectful mother, Adrian has fallen asllep on the floor playing with his toys, he`s a dreadful sleeper during the day, I`m lucky if he`ll sleep once a day for 30 minutes, nighttime is all over the place, sometimes up to him three times other times once or very occasionally he`ll sleep from 8.30pm till 5.30am.
Took the little boys to the local park this morning, but we left as soon as a family arrived with lunch Matthew had his own idea of joining them LOL Talk about tantrums trying to explain to him that he can`t go over to them and help himself to their food!!!!!
Anyone want a couple of teenagers????? One in particular has an answer for everything, is totally backchatting and telling me off  we`re wrong and he`s right. Sounds like a typical teenager hey!! I`ve asked Mark if I can go and hybernate for the next 2 years especially when they aren`t even my children, it makes it so hard at times. Other times they can be absolutely wonderful if only they can be like that most of the time.
-
Hi Girls :)
Dee, great to hear the birds have survived!! And no I don't want any (more)teenagers ;)
Melanie... Awwww... poor Jack!! Kinda cute tho. It's amazing how quickly they do settle tho. We have to move again soon!! *urgh*
Sarah, great to hear that Zander's molars have come through with no hassles :) I hope Violet is the same *PLEASE!!*
Well Violet has woken two mornings in a row with a dry nappy! I will giver her a little while longer and see how she goes with her nappy, but maybe I will have to move her to a big bed :(
Tanya
-
What a shame Tanya, I was hoping someone might want them LOL I have to admit the last few days they have been wonderful, Alister even set out Mark`s, Matthew and my breakfast plates and cereal this morning and Michael has been fantastic with Matthew these school holidays, those two have such a great bond, last night the 3 of them were outside playing footy, Matthew was in his glory. Yay for Violet, she`s such a clever girl but she`s growing up too fast.
Trish - How are you? Have you broken the news to Mark as yet? How are you feeling pregnancy wise - any morning sickness?
Both little boys are still very snotty but otherwise they are okay. Oh Alister found an old pair of work overalls that fit Matthew, he looked just like mini Daddy in them. Michael`s nickname for Matthew atm is "Chinese Alien" because he sounds chinese at times when rattling off a sentence which we have no idea what he`s talking about and Alien as he has alien strength when he really hurts himself he very rarely cries such as the other day when he went thump on the cement and a big egg came up on his forehead yet he only cried for 2 seconds, I`m not sure why he`s so tough.
Adrian is still busy commando crawling but he`s getting so fast, finding him all over the house, one day he might decide to crawl properly, he`s also such a chatter box, I guess he needs to be.
Hope everyone is well
Dee
Edit to say, obviously my ticker is going haywire, it`s saying Matthew is 11 months, and Adrian 8 months - I don`t think so LOL Better go fix it up.
-
It`s very quiet in here.
We went to the Wiggles Dorothy Dinosaur Dance Party today, I should have taken Mark`s advice regarding Matthew`s atttention span as he was right  Adrian decided it was all too boring for him and went to sleep LOL
I`ve decided what I`m going to do for Matthew`s cake, I`m not the cake designer Sarah is so I`m going to do a number 2 then decorate it with some cars I`ve brought which are Lightning McQueen, Sally, Mater and Doc Hudson, then put smarties along the border of it and off course ice it, in what colour I`m not sure yet but it will be the most elaborate cake I`ve ever made so I hope I succeed.
We have all Matthew`s presents except for a helmet which I think we have to go to a bike shop for as I don`t think Big W or K Mart sell toddler size helmets.
Hope everyone`s well
Take Care
Dee
-
Dee we got Zander's helmet at KMart, it was only around $20 so pretty good price. Can't wait to see Matthew's cake, I bet he'll love it :D
-
Dee: Cake idea sounds great, and so does how the boys seem to be bonding with each other, and Adrian sounds so cute commando crawling and chatting away
I have pulled my back out so was in a lot of pain for a few days, still sore today but not as bad as it was, ended up with a mega migraine yesterday, was so glad luke grabbed cooper for me and rocked him in the pram to sleep and Mason was absorbed in tv, i ended up falling asleep on the lounge with ice on my head, Bill wasnt far away so i wasnt too worried
Mason got given a swing set with slide today and he loves it, have to get a couple of seats for the sea saw type one that goes back and forward, no clue what they are called lol, so will ring company on monday to find out where to get them from
otherwise all is very quiet here as small kids are asleep and the two bigger ones are out and about
have a good rest of the weekend
-
Thought I should get my bum in here and post. How is everyone going ?
Belinda, I hope your back gets better real soon. My kids love the swing set, although Tehya would rather climb all over the frame. She truely should have been a boy.
Dee, I have tickets for The Wiggles show in July for Noah and Tehya. God help me and all those pushy mums ;) Sounds like you are well sorted for Matthews party. I have Noah's on the 10th of May and have nothing, and we were going to do him a party this year. He's 5, so the last one at pre school too.
Morning sickness has well and truely kicked in. Feel ill quite often, especially if I haven't eaten. Had repeat bloods done this morning so hopefully my HCG is going up nice and high.
Hope all are going well and little people are behaving themselves nicely :D
-
Good to hear from you Trish. The morning sickness sounds like a great sign that all is well. I am sending lots of sticky vibes your way. Take care of yourself!
I am so close to having everything ready here - we are having some people round next weekend for DH's birthday / homewarming so really want everything unpacked and neat. Tom has had a very unsettled week so it's been hard to get a lot done but I have made some progress. Jack has settled down heaps now thank goodness. Much more like his usual good self LOL. Now all I need is decent internet - we have to wait for broadband as the exchange is full and this is ssssoooo slow.
-
Silly me has just realised I have people here to talk to YAY.
Melanie - Sounds like everything is coming along nicely now.
Trish - Thinking of you, I hope your HCG levels are going up nicely, your first reading was great, so much better then mine was with Adrian and his twin. Even though MS is yuck it`s great it`s kicking in.
Belinda - I hope your back is better soon, it sounds painfull. They love the swing sets, we have an old broken one here which Alister and Michael had, Matthew loves what`s left of it, the seats are so expensive to replace that we`ll be better off replacing the whole thing.
Thanks Sarah I`ll have another look at K Mart.
Had a bad bad night, Adrian decided to be up every 1.5 hours then at 3am he thought he`d stay awake until 5am but he also woke Matthew so I had two of them awake for 2 hours, needless to say Matthew is extremely tired today.
I keep telling Matthew he`s going to be 2 soon and then sing Happy Birthday to him I`m sure he thinks Mummy has lost the plot and he`s probably right LOL!!
-
I hear you Sydney girls are getting a lot of rain, please send it up to us, it seems to be all coastal and not coming inland, we have had 1.4 ml today but nothing like the east coast.
I have come down with another uti, I`m not sure if condoms are causing it so I`m going to start the pill, it`s not what I wanted but I need to find out if it`s condom related as that`s the only thing different, the Dr tells me it`s quite safe but I`m still hesitant.
Didn`t go to GYmbaroo today mainly becuase I wasn`t happy with them having it on Anzac day, what happened to the days when nothing use to open out of respect for our diggers, I keep going on about it to Mark, I just think it`s wrong.
Have a long saga about my little sister, it`s way too long and too complicated to even explain but it involves DOCS and my eldest sister trying to get the daughter from my sister and my eldest sister telling my Mum things which aren`t true, I can see WW20 looming up in the family (well between Mum and my eldest sister as I don`t keep in contact with my eldest sister due to WW10 breaking out years ago LOL).
Take Care
Dee
-
Dee, you are still bfing if I remember? Are you starting the mini-pill or the full OCP? Just wondering as contraception is a major issue for us atm. I am bfing and unable to take the mini-pill. DH hate condoms so we have a dilemma. DH thinks that having the snip will solve the problem but I'm not ready to rule out another one!! I am really not sure what workable options are there for us.
I hope everyone enjoyed their public holiday today.
Jack has started stuttering in the last couple of weeks. Sometimes it's quite bad, and he's doing it a lot of the time now. I think it might be related to stress from the move and I've been especially busy with unpacking and stuff and I think he's wanting more of my time too. Plus with moving, and some other things, DH and I have been pretty stressed. So now another thing to feel guilty about. Hopefully it's just a short term thing that will resolve soon. He's been such a great talker from an early age so this is quite distressing for me as I feel we have let him down.

hi ladies,
sorry i haven't been around much, im in melbourne at the moment!! it was a complete spare of the moment decission! lol. seth was really good on the plane, he flirted with the girl in front of him for most of the flight then just when we were starting the landing process he fell asleep! lol.. kids... we got into melbourne at 11pm and then went to wait for my bag, it never came.... it had gotten on the wrong flight from brisbane and was on the later trip to melbourne. soooo we had to walk around the airport for an hour and poor seth was shattered but he was sooo good, so proud. :D

Time for a new thread everyone.
