Wow, I'm first! Where is everyone?

Thomas has been sick so I've had a very busy few days, yesterday was the pits - he had a high fever and just cried all day poor thing. He also didn't sleep for longer than 20mins at a time overnight on Wed night either. Luckily he seems to be through the worst of it now though.

Jack is having a great time. He has so many new things to play with after his birthday (not that he needed anymore LOL). He also had his best day at day care in ages yesterday. He was getting bored so they brought toys in from the older kids room (he missed going up with the older kids bcos his birthday was one week too late and now they have no spots). Anyway, he seemed to enjoy the extra challenges and had a really great day.

I have so much to do after getting nothing done yesterday so I'm going to have a very busy day today.

Still having absolutely shocking nights here, Adrian gets up between 6 and 8 times a night and I`m lucky to get 2 hours straight sleep, he was sleeping better at 6 weeks when he`d sleep for 10 hours - I knew that was all too good to be true.

I have a virus, my throat feels like I`m swallowing razor blades and my carpal tunnel is extremely painfull at the moment, my Mum told me yesterday to ask Mark to massage my arm for me as it`s right up into my shoulders now.... as I told her I have more chance of winning lotto!!

Melanie - Sorry to hear Thomas has been sick

Dee, you poor thing. How are you managing? I have changed my opinion of Tom, he is not such a bad sleeper after all! I was reading your post to DH and I asked him if he would massage my arm if it was sore. He said if I won lotto he would LOL!

Melanie: sorry to hear Thomas was unwell, and nice to hear Jack is enjoying daycare with the new challenges

Dee: how horrible having to get up that many times! Hope things improve at your house ASAP, start joining singles dating sites and leave them up for Mark to see, might shock him into doing something!

All is good here, Luke is loving his new school and i feel so good that i changed him over now thankfully

Mason is enjoying daycare, although still crys when i drop him off but only for a few minutes, he runs to the door to leave in the afternoons though, he even says at the door 'run run' to let me know he is out of there

Cooper is good, doesnt sleep much during the day, but sleeps overnight most nights so not too bad, he is mainly happy though

Not much else happening really, going to sydney next month and havent even booked the accomodation yet, better get onto that in the next couple of weeks i guess

LOL Belinda - the scare tactic hey, it`ll probably completely backfire on me if I did something like that!! Glad all is goung well at your place, are you finding Mason is learning more words each day and is actually aware that you can understand him as the words are getting clearer, Matthew got quite a kick out of saying bath the other day and Mummy could understand him (he`s been trying to say it for sometime but wouldn`t really sound like bath IYKWIM), sometimes it would be baf but mostly bath, how many words is Mason up to now? I was asking my clinic nurse what should Matthew be saying at this age as I had been told that he should be talking complete sentences by now and not single words, anyway my clinic nurse reassured me thankgoodness that Matthew should be saying 20 words at this age and then by 2 he should be joining 2 words together which he does now when he wants to, I`ve lost count how many words he can say but it`ll be well and truly over 20. Where in Sydney are you coming to?

Melanie - Like all mummy`s I find a way of managing, but it makes me wonder how I managed when Matthew was Adrian`s age and I was in early pregnancy, I think I must have had marbles as brains back then

Well I have a full blown flu, I haven`t had a flu this bad for a while, all I feel like doing is taking myself off to bed for a sleep during the day but off course that`s out of the question. Adrian only got up 3 times last night so that was an added bonus.

Dee: Mason would be saying over 20 words also and i wouldnt say he is saying any sentances as yet, his new thing is stars moon over and over, he is obsessed with them! he says lots of words clearly, its funny though he trys to say a sentance and i understand nothing except the word he is using in the sentance lol, he is getting there though
yesterday i asked him what he done at daycare and he says 'weeee' which means he went on a slippery dip or swing lol
I often tell Bill when i get married again and not to you! lol, i always talk about my next guy to him, keeps him on his toes sometimes but not often lol, i actually have in my sig on another site 'DH: Mute by choice" he hasnt seen that yet lol
I am staying in Darling harbour in sydney, if i ever book the accomodation!
Hope you feel better soon and i would say the sickness has hit you harder because you are so run down atm, you cant get a relative to come and stay for a week to get you back on top of the health ladder again?

Cooper was really sick overnight, bought up every bottle in a huge way and going off the other end as well, say he picked up lukes virus he had a couple of days ago, he seems fine otherwise, just hoping he keeps this last bottle down

Belinda - Isn`t it funny how they rattle off a whole sentence to you and you have no idea what they are trying to say, Matthew was trying to tell me something yesterday, he repeated it about 4 times and silly Mummy still had no idea, he`ll often tell me something and laugh - whatever it is must be funny. Darling Harbour, I love it there but haven`t been there since 92. Unfortunately I have no one who can come and stay, MIL was here over the weekend, within 12 hours I`d had enough. My Mum is having an operation tomorrow and my Dad is busy helping Mark with all the farm work, since we`re one farm hand down after he quit three weeks ago - he`d been here for 11 years.

I hope Cooper is better real soon for you and keeps his bottles down.

Been thinking of Lesley, she must have had her baby by now.

Sarah - I`ll take a look at the PB.

Mason does gymbaroo as well, although we didnt go today because i had a shocking headache this morning, 2 kids are bad enough with a headache, let alone 12 of them in a small space!

Cooper seems fine now so glad it was only an overnight thing, i am soo tired though

Just a quick post to say hi. I have to take Jack to day care in a minute and I have a busy day ahead (again).

I hope you are feeling better Dee.

Sarah, I hope the saga is nearly over. I read your punching bag post but didn't get a chance to reply. I agree you should pursue it, just for the principle as well as the money. I am surprised though that even if it did say "fits most beds" that that would change things. Surely you still have to take it home to try it and if it doesn't fit it doesn't meet the purpose for which it was bought and therefore they have to take it back. Oh well, what do I know. Anyway, seeing as it didn't say that and the guy lied I'd nail him.

Lots happening here, will update again soon.

We've just got back from Gabby's first camping trip!
She did really well (tho there were times when Mummy and Daddy's patience was tested ).
She slept well on one side of the camper. The first night she rolled around a bit and I had to get up to her about a dozen times because she lost her dummy (easy enough to do in a double bed!) so Neil slept next to her the next 2 nights. That helped. The beds in the camper are SO comfy. I'm really thrilled with it.
We went to a camp site in a town called "Nelson" which is near Portland or Mt. Gambier. We took Gabby to the beach whilst in Nelson to buy supplies. She fell in the water a couple of times (once nudey!) but didn't cry! Big, brave girl!
Gab helped Daddy catch a heap of undersized fish. She spent a lot of time at the camp site wandering from our camp site down to the pier (not very far but a fairly steep hill). She fell often and scraped her knees but was a pro by the end of the trip.
She got SO filthy from all the dirt (and lack of a bath for 3 nights!). She didn't seem to care though. I think she was glad to be home yesterday (as was I) but Neil reckons he could have easily stayed another week! Not likely! LOL
I've put some photos on Gabby's site anyway.

Dee - sorry you've been unwell. Glad you're feeling better.

Sarah - grrr @ that darn rail saga What a PITA

    Hi to everyone else

Debbie: Great pics, especially the one with Gabrielle and Dad in the chairs, glad it was a good trip

    nothing much happening here

Mason had a huge fall yesterday and grazed and cut all around his eye, looks pretty horrible but didnt bleed much at the time luckily
Cooper has gastro, guess with Mason touching everything its more common for Cooper to pick things up, not used to babies who get sick though, but he is a good sick baby, still happy at least
Booked accomodation for sydney trip luke and i are taking next month, place looks good and is right near darling harbour, some of it is still under construction though lol, hence the cheaper price to stay but we will only be sleeping there so didnt bother me

Deb - sounds like a great trip

Belinda - Poor Mason, hope Cooper is feeling better soon. Yay for the cheap accomadation.

Not much going on here, my flu is still hanging around but I`m much better. Have to leave soon to pick up DSS`s, apparently Alister is getting bullied (first year of high school) so we have to meet the school bus to get the boys instead of picking them up from home as usual, as their Mum will not be home in time, he`s the last one I expected to be bullied, he`s the more outgoing one like his mum.

We got 16mls of rain from our thunderstorm last night - yay, the place is actually starting to look green instead of brown - lets hope it continues. Matthew found a puddle this morning, he got filthy (as he often does LOL), he was so excited as he always is when it rains since it`s an unusual occurence.

Better go, Adrian is here on my lap and has decided he wants a feed.

Why is it so quiet in here?

Had a crafty morning with Matthew (playdough and pasting) as it`s been drizzling outside (YAY for more rain) otherwise I haven`t done much at all except for normal day to day mother duties
