Before she went to bed last night she had a little chuck but nothing overnight

She slept well and this morning she had a 100ml bottle (we normally give her 200ml but have reduced it until she's got her apitite back). She did to a massive runny poo this morning and then went back to sleep where she was when I left for work. It's Matt's day with her today and he does such a good job!

    Hi girls

I am on my day off from work feeling like crap looks like I am getting a chest infection, getting pains under my chest, between my ribs, but Doni has the same thing and so does another friend, so we think it might be the start of chest infection or something. I have felt like crap all day, mind you not sure if that is from having two nights of not good sleep from DJ waking up all night. arghhhh his teething really bothering him now, he closes his gums together like he is in pain, and waking at strange times at night........ My manager at work said that they normally have bad nights before a big development milestone like crawling or walking. He looks like he wants to crawl as well, he is trying to move so not long now...... I feel like a walking zombie today. Thankfully Doni is home from Melbourne tonight and said he would get up tonight if it is another bad one, coz I have work tomorrow. I just feel like crap!!! I feel like I did at the beginning when he was just a few weeks old......

Can't remember the posts from the other forum arghhhh sorry girls when I feel better I will post more.

Spoke to matt at lunch. Jazz is being so good. Matt has a bit of work to catch up on (working for himself so he can't pass on work to someone else). So he and Jazz have been out and about most of the day coz he's had to go to suppliers and things. Jazz has now been discharged from childrens ward and seems to be on the mend. Now I'm feeling a bit blah, but I'll be going home in a couple of hours so it's ok.

My sister leaves early tomorrow morning - on a red eye flight. So we will try and get an early night so we can get up before the crack of dawn to see her and her family off. She and the girls will be back for a weekend in October for our uncle's wedding and then they'll be back for Christmas.
We didn't get the house we applied for coz the tennants decided to move back in for another 12 months. Bit annoyed. So we'll be staying put in our current house for at least another year.

    Afternoon girls,

Doing a bit better today, still getting bad cramps but aunt flow is just finishing so think it is just relating to that and the lack of sleep. I am now dreaming of waking up to find DJ with teeth haha how sad is that??? He is really pressing his gums together now, so it must be getting uncomfortable for him, and that is why he is waking up at night. Just want him back to his ususal sleep routine arghhhhhh Was listening to the radio and they were commenting on how sleep deprived new parents are for the first year and I just said - yeah I am hearing ya haha

I was so upset with Doni because he has been away for the past 2 nights and I have been up with DJ all hours of the morning etc and I told him it was his turn last night because I was just so tired. Anyway this morning he said I didn't even flinch when DJ cried at 2am, but I really was incredibly tired, and I didn't hear him and he was right next to me. I think knowing Doni was home I was able to just sleep through it. Doni complained because he had to go to a meeting at 7:30am in the city etc and I was like well yeah I have to work as well today. At least you have been able to sleep for the past two nights - I haven't.... anyway all sorted now but sometimes you just want to scream!!! Men!!!

Danni - so happy to hear Jazz is on the mend lots of hugs

Prama - that is soooo sweet with Poopy trying to eat your nose kehehee now that is affection

Skye - wow on Jesse's weight, he is a big boy

Well I better get back to it.

    Cheers

Grrrrrrrrrrrr! I wrote a post and then lost it as it was uploading and that was a few hours ago!

My sister left this morning. Her plane left at 6:15am, we got to the airport at 5:50am and were rushing to the gate only to get a call from my mum to tell me they had to board before everyone else so they could get the kids settled so we missed them because I took too long to get ready and leave the house! I've left a couple of messages on my sister's phone and will probably speak to her tonight.

I just rang FDC and the lady said she's a bit unsettled but finally fell asleep. Has already had 3 half bottles (only giving her 100ml at the moment, will increase it to 150 tomorrow and then back to her normal 200 by the weekend hopefully). I said that if she needs more formula or wants Jazz picked up earlier to give Matt a call and he'd come over. She's still not interested in eating food which I'm not too fussed about at the moment, as long as she's drinking that's the main thing.

shell - glad you're feeling better... hope it all gets back to normal once af goes away..
yeah, it's unfair when you've had to wake up and look after dj all by yourself. i know how tiring it gets, cos even when you are asleep you still somehow hear them and wake up. and men can sleep thru it. you must have been dead tired to have slept thru it, why wouldnt you be when you've been looking after dj all by urself.
i know couple of times id be sitting at the edge of the bed and patting poopy back to sleep, only to wake up some minutes later to find my head resting against his bassinet and my hand on him. so tired i fell asleep sitting up.

danni - glad jazz is starting to drink more now.

poopy had a bad night, woke up at 2ish unsettled then got worse, he finally settled at 4.30 and woke up at 6.45. steve tried to settle him didnt work, he'd fall asleep then wake up crying in a couple of mins. we all went to sleep finally at 4.30.
i've been feeling darker and darker. i went to see my mchn, and then made a call to parramatta family care and am getting a referral to tresillian residential. i will know more on monday, when and how long i have to be there.
im just not coping without sleep. poopy falls asleep and then i sleep, only to be woken up by steve's snoring, then i manage to fall asleep only to be woken by poopy's grizzling. im waking every 10mins or so, in between 30 mins of trying to settle poopy.
i just need to sleep. im spiralling even more. my friend at mother's group said i dont look well at all.
    sorry for the me post...

    Hi all.

Danni - Glad Jazz is on the mend.

Shell - get better soon. Bugger AF, she's staying away here so far & she better keep it that way. For all the right reasons of course!! BFing, not pg!!
Have fun with those teeth. Jesse's only had 2 nights of screaming with red cheeks about 2 weeks ago. Nothing since, so I don't know whats happening in there.

Prama - You ok? Are you getting sleep through the day? I was dead tired this morning & it was Bri's day care day, so I put Jesse down with me in our bed & we slept for about 2 hours. I even slept through a knock at the door! Thats really unusual for me.
The sleep problems would be to do with your pnd. You can't sleep, I have trouble waking up.
How about you & Poopy just spend tomorrow in bed. Don't do any house work. Just lay there & play with him when he's awake & sleep when he sleeps. It might help you feel a bit better. You could try doing it one day a week & see if it helps.
    Thinking of you.

Jesse's still got a runny nose & every once in a while you hear this slurp, slurp, slurp... Its Jesse sucking in the snot!!!
    So wrong, but so funny!

    skye - thanks hun..
i have to get the car serviced tomorrow, have to get there by 7.30am in order to get the car back early. so i have to leave home abt 6.45, 7.
it would be nice to stay in bed, i wish i could do that. he had a nap this afternoon, 1.5hrs. but i kept waking up just to make sure he's ok. i cant seem to just sleep and think he's ok. i put him in his room and i slept in ours but i just kept waking up to see if i could hear anythng. it's just me.. i just cant seem let myself get rest.
even when steve's here or when i was at my parents. my mum would say go upstairs and have a rest but i would still wake up at the slightest noise he made downstairs! and i''d feel more tired.

Try putting him into bed with you. At least you won't have to get up to check on him. Make one day a week. Don't make any appointments on that day, say Wednesday, unless its absolutely necessary & stay in your pj's & just lounge around watching trashy tv all day. Or read a mag.
Just one day a week to do nothing. Poopy can even stay in his jamies. Have a bath or shower together - I put the pram in there with a towel ready for him to go into - & just relax. Make yourself do it. ALL DAY!
It might help it might not, but it can't hurt.

Jazz has learnt to poke her tongue out! It was so cute last night. I kept saying "show me your tongue" and she'd poke it out every time, then I'd laugh and she'd laugh and stick it out again to make me laugh. This morning I went into her room when I got up, she was just laying there awake but being quiet. As soon as she saw me she poked her tongue out and laughed, then put her arms up for me to pick her up. So cute!

hellloooo... its a bit quiet in here isnt it!

Prama - i hope you are doing OK, you need some time for you to relax and chill out. I had a bath with MJ tonight, havent done that for months as she is normally in the Tummytub or if she f=goes in the bi bath is with her Dad, but it was really nice and we played and splashed.
    I can def recommend that.

Shell - glad you are feeling better AF is a bugger! im due next weeek and have started to feel the symptoms already

re the tongues, MJ has been poking hers out for ages and blowing raspberries... the other day she pulled off a feed and leant over and blew a raspberry on my arm and then looked up at me as if to say - look what i can do.
She also licks everything and generally sits with her tongue out most of the day...

    Glas Jazz is better

gotta go, MJ just woke from her nap, i will be a human milk machine for the next hour then she goes to bed
    have a good night everyone
