Angel: Glad the teething stuff is working and hope the needles went well, i had to have the same needle myself and it didnt hurt at all and i am scared of needles
Trish: no signs of any of us getting it, counting monday as D-day that there is a good chance we wont after then, as luke got it so mildly i think we might be ok thankfully
I have to have top up needle for immunisation when i take cooper for his shots though, need two shots after 13years of age
Hope everyone else is going well, i felt like drinking tonight myself but didnt bother in the end, might have one to relax me though, in a funny mood tonight, just not interested in hanging with anyone
Went to Lukes school disco last night, was ok, when Mason wasnt dancing he was trying to go through handbags and steal drinks lol
Cooper was very unsettled today, was very overtired and was sick a lot after last bottle so hope he is ok, think it just all caught up with him, DH overstimulates him then expects him to go to sleep, after 3 kids you think he would be better at working it out, guess not!
-
Fi - woo hoo for the camcorder! Fingers crossed it IS for you. If you don't like being on the camera, just do what I do and be behind it all the time ;) My voice is still there tho. OMG, I am annoying!! hahaha
Simone - hope you are feeling better today, mate :) How's Declan?
Belinda - LOL @ Mason going through handbags to steal drinks! Oh no... you mean after 3 kids, the DH still doesn't get it?? I was holding high hopes for Neil with this next one! Nahh.. he's pretty good. He was always able to settle Gab better than me half the time (well, the handful of times he tried).
I found out that Santa is going to be at Hamilton Harvey Norman today. I'm tossing up whether or not to try Gabby with him. I SO reckon she'll chuck a tanty...... but, then, maybe she'll be open to the idea if she sees that other kids are doing it?
-
Deb, I hope that Gab goes good with Santa today if you decide to go. Get yourself scrappin before the new bub comes along. Then there's no time for it for a few months.
Fi, if you don't want the camera you can send it my way. I've been wanting one for years. Still haven't got it though.
Have emailed you through some info. It was my 3rd go, as fast as I would get the page full of info the page would shut down ?? Hopefully there's enough there, I also added the sites from where the info came from. Hope your back is feeling somewhat better today.
Belinda, woohoo, sounds like you are in the clear. LOL at Mason flogging drinks. Atleast it wasn't wallets ;)
Simone, hope your kiddies get better soon hun. Ouch on your throat too. I get really sever tonsilitis, I was supposed to get them out, was 1 week off going into hospital when I found out I was pg with Noah.
Well I took Tehya in for a bath with me lastnight then when we got out she was sooky so I layed down on the bed with her and my wine, watched some tv, gave her bb and we crashed out. Mark slept on the lounge as we were hogging the bed :)
It's all systems go here. Noah is riding Mark's bum as he is making them some jelly. God only know's why he is doing it now ?? Tehya is being a cow, but what's new there.
We were planning on going for a drive to the beach this afternoon but it is quite overcast here and so much cooler than yesterday.
-
Thanks Trish - I got the email! Very helpful, I'll have a good read through it today and chase up a bit of the info.
Deb - good luck with Santa. I'm still waiting for Jenna's bump to go down before we consider it, but it now has a pea sized lump under the skin. I'm hoping its not a piece of skull.
I'm considering spending the day in bed. Thumping headache, sick to the gut, and generally unimpressed with the world. I'm wondering what my chances are of getting rest though...... I had Shane up early rubbing my back, but at least this week Jenna has pretty much slept through every night. What a relief!!
How funny to go to the social Belinda! I'm so not looking forward to teenagers - specially if this one is anothergirl ;)
-
How did you go, Fi? Get a bit of a rest today? Just watch that headache - if you start to see double or your vision goes blurry, get into the hospital straight away. So glad Jenna has been sleeping so well. Here's hoping she keeps that up for good, hey?
Trish - what did you guys end up doing today? LOL @ you and Tehya managing to kick Mark out of the bed ;)
Well... I just wasted 3 hours of my life.
I tried to call Harvey Norman to check what time everything was happening but I was on hold for 5 minutes so gave up and got ready anyway. Got there just before 10am... and they open at 10am. So Gab and I wandered around some other shops. I picked up some wrapping paper and a few other bits n pieces. Head back to Harvery Norman only to find out Santa doesn't get there until 12pm. Grrr. So Gab and I got some morning tea and headed down to the lake to have a play at the playground there. Gab had a great time. We threw some bread to a couple of magpies so, naturally, a *****e load of seagulls decided to visit. I don't think Gab was impressed. She yelled at them and threw her arms around trying to get them to go away. Fricken seagulls are everywhere!
Got back in the car and went to target. I found Neil a red polo shirt. I want us all wearing red on Christmas day. Corney? Yes. But I don't care!
That killed enough time so we went back to Harvey Norman after I changed Gab's nappy, brushed her hair and wiped her face. They had a stack of balloons there so Gab ran like the d!ckens to get hold of one only to stop still in her tracks when she saw Santa. She was NOT impressed. We were the only ones there so I plonked her on his knee and "WAAAAAA!". She chucked the biggest tanty. So I rescued her (after the teenage boys attending it suggested that I try and be in the photo too... not likely!). Gab clung to me and her balloon) for dear life. The only time she so much as peeked at Santa she gave him the most suspicious look like he was the devil or something. I waited for 20 minutes for some other kids to come along. I thought Gab might be more open to the idea if she saw other kids having a go. No one bloody showed up. I tried putting Gab on the ground but she just howled some more. So I gave up. OMG... what a waste of time :( Eh... it's not like I had anything better to do. I think I might make Santa photos a "first Christmas" thing - any money she wants to do it next year!! Grrr!
-
There might be hope still Debbie, actually Bill was so much better with Luke as a baby then i was, i was crap at it with no patience, i have now got patience and he hasnt, go figure!
Trish: Enjoy the beach if you do end up going
Fi: glad to here Jenna has been sleeping through and i hope you get that rest in today, i also have my 16 year nephew who lives with us, and i can safely say teenager are like aliens, just a different breed altogether for them years lol, really not looking forward to luke hitting that stage at all!
Debbie: Dont give up yet, just keep showing her him everytime your at the shops, mason went from would not go within any distance of him to smiling at him last time, last time he was still unsure, but i will keep trying at a distance for awhile longer anyhow
Otherwise just get a pic of Santa and photoshop her onto his lap lol like i told someone else to do :)
-
Belinda, not a bad idea there to photoshop the kid into Santa pic. 16 year olds hey, if their anything like 15 year olds I want out now !!!
Deb, what a shame Gab was un cooperative for you. How dare she have a mind of her own ;) Tehya is EXACTLY the same. Stubborn as a mule too.
Fi, good to hear that Jenna is letting you get some rest. I so do not envy you being nearly full term pg with a toddler. Oh 2 girls in the teenage years. Does that mean b!tch fights ?? I don't know, never had a sister. Lovely.
We ended up just bumming for the morning, then left at 12 to go up to Toys R Us. Stopped at the fruit market on the way. Tehya slept for most of the trip up there so that was good, but of course she wanted to run amok once we were in the store. She found a motorbike that she insisted on riding. Mark was very proud. I tell her, she's my girl that's for the boys. Hmm she doesn't seem to be listening though. She's keener on bikes and cars than Noah somedays.
Teh still has that damn cough, on the way home she coughed so bad she spewed everywhere. Had to pull over and strip her off poor thing. She is still telling us when she wants to wee, and this morning even told us for poo, but alas, none in the loo yet. Plenty on the tiles though...
Funny girl in bed this morning she reaches up to her hair and says plain as day. I got hair. PMSL. I guess you just had to hear it. Was very cute.
-
Belinda - not a bad idea with photoshop :) It's good that Mason is slowly warming up to him. I kind of knew Gab would be funny about it anyway. She's a suspicious alouicious (sp?) as it is.
Trish - PMSL @ Tehya. "I got hair". Fancy that! I think Gab knows when she needs to wee and poo too but, yeah, can't quite connect it with the potty or the loo. All a matter of time I suppose.
I've re-named Neil, Mr. Scrooge. Everytime I tell him about chrissy presents we need to buy he gets all annoying. "How much is THAT gonna cost" blah, blah, blah. The spirit of giving certainly passed him by. I blame his Dad... he didn't exactly instill the Christmas spirit into the boys. They don't buy for eachother and don't even really make a fuss on the day. Bah hum bug! I reckon I've done pretty well this Christmas. I only need to buy for my 2 younger sisters and their BF's and it's all done! Not bad for me... it's not even December yet.
-
Trish: Very similiar to a 15 year old lol but they get worse, he turned 16 in august and seemed to change after that, luckily we dont see much of him as he is out a fair bit when not at school, he probably shouldnt be but he is pretty mature as he wasnt bought up in the best circumstances so i trust him to be out there
Debbie: LOL at mr scrooge, Bill isnt that into christmas either as i dont think his family was, but it was a huge deal in ours so of course we do it they way i want :)
I just have to get my parents something, and my mum and MIL birthday presents as they are both days before christmas, and a few odds and ends for kids then i am done, so not so bad here either
-
Girls you are so much more sorted than me. I still ahve to get both my brothers presents. My ex SIL, brothers GF. My parents pressie. Mark's pressie off laby and some more stuff for the kids. As you can see, quite alot still. Although the most expensive stuff is done I think.
Deb, LOL at Neil being a scrooge. Mark is the same, he says today when I told him I still had a bit to get, What ?? you said that layby was $1200, and you still have atleast another $400 on. What else do they need. Well the xbox 360 was $700 by itself, and I do have 4 kids to buy for. Games for that are $100 each.
All too soon Teh will be telling me she's got hair elsewhere :(
Belinda, My 15 year old could not get much worse hun. The girls from my original baby buddy group know all about him. He's a very bad boy!!
-
Oh Belinda... you just reminded me. My neice's birthday is on the 29th of Dec so I'd better buy for her too. I should start them on my "money in a card" policy. When they get too hard to buy for, it's $10 in a card. They LOVE it. I always preferred money over a gift... and it's SOOOO much easier. I'd put $20 in there but Mr. Scrooge cracks it. Tight-arse.
Trish - yes... you have one.... "challenging" 15yo on your hands. I just hope that in a few years time you can look back on all the trouble he caused and see it as a thing of the past. I've heard they are much nicer once they hit 18??
-
Well if that's the case come on 18 !! Or maybe that's just because by 18 you've made them move out coz your sick of their crap. LOL.
My big boys love to get cash. They pool the money up they get and buy themselves something they didn't get generally. Or it gets wasted on stuff. Hmm Joels bday was still around for a while. I bet that's gone now though, prob spent the last of it on the case of Beam his mates and him got a couple of weeks back :(
Geez, when I was getting grog at that age it was gooney juice not bloody Beam. Signs of the times hey...
-
LOL... I didn't get ANY grog at that age. The times are a changin', hey?
-
I snuck mine from my boyfriend ;) He was older. Like 20 !!!
-
Oh Trish! You wild girl!
Naah... I was very naive as a teenager. At 15 we were still having alcohol-free sleepovers and we'd go to the under 18's nightclubs sober (and have a fantastic time!). I'm glad tho. I certainly made up for it in Uni tho ;) I was still pretty well-behaved compared to my friends.
-
LOL, I guess that's why I do try very hard to understand Joel and all that is going on with him. I was no angel either, nor was his dad. Still, we weren't as reckless or stupid with the things we did. Well, I wasn't anyway. I was out of home by the time I was just over 16 too. Very sad I know. It was just too hard to stay at home with my step father.
-
Sorry girls - apparently boys dont turn right until they hit 30...... Girls on the other hand come right about 21-22 I think.
I was drinking at 13-14, I'm surprised my parents never really knew, but then I used to booze up at all the work dinners. My sister was usually there too getting drunk, so we faked it together. Me more than her ;)
BUmmer on the santa thing Deb - I am going to do market square a couple more times before I try the santa lap. jenna will probably love it though and pull the beard. Bloody child!
I had a blissful day in bed reading an NZ novel I have had on my shelf for over 3 years. Finally read it! And it was good. Reminded me of all the things I miss in NZ literature. Very figurative, and just deep, deep, deep. I am now craving more of the same! Believe it or not my best subject at school was English, so I spent many many hours reading literature, poetry and things, only to go and do engineering at uni. Oh well - at least I will be an all roudn balanced parent for kids in school.
Shane has decided this bub is now a boy. I'm now carrying completely differently to Jenna, very low. Its great, I've not got feet in my ribs like last time and the heartburn is blissful in comparison.
Jenna's first hair cut tomorrow. I'm over trying to brush out all the knotswith the split ends, so hopefully I can get away with an inch off without her noticing. I guess her hair is about 4-5" long, you just can't tell cause the curls are so tight!
-
Sounds like Joel is a bit of a rebel like his mum was lol, but yes they are fussy these days on what they drink, luckily my nephew isnt a big drinker so far, well that i know of
Debbie: yeah the money in the card after a certain age is good
-
hmm I was very very naughty :) and I turned out ok eventually ok some may think other wise.
Not much happening here just a lack of sleep from last night, hopefully the girl will sleep thru tonight blahh work tomorrow

HEy ladies
Declan is starting to come right, Xander and Anneliese are ill now... Allie has a cold, Xander has a temp, plus a headache/tummy ache. My poor little guy. He's asleep next to me at the moment. He just had a blood nose so i had to wake him to clean that up. My tonsils didnt hurt too bad today, the couple of beers i had at a chrissy party must've done the trick :)
I was good until about 17, then i moved out of home, started clubbing and drinking (and all the other stuff), then settled down just after 18 (which was good, as i fell pg with xander just after all that!) And now im 22, and a good girl again. Ah, the merry go round of life ;)
-
I think its good to get it out of your system before you settle down though, then you know what is out there, i would of hated to wonder what if, i lived it so feel more content with my life as it is now, although i still go out clubbing so guess i didnt let it completely go lol
-
I still go out sometimes too bec, although i dont really go clubbing, i go out to pubs and the casino about once a fortnight...
just staying up to see who wins aussie idol... i wish they would quit stuffing around and just announce it... I want Jess to lose, the winner gets such a crap deal...
-
hahah at hoping the person you like loses, but its true the runner up always comes out better
I dont watch the show though
All i wanted to do today was go play poker machines, hardly play them ever but just felt like it, should of gone i guess, ah well
-
LOL on all the bad asses! I suppose I was pretty good really, my biggest failure was my divorce after only 2y of marriage. BUt then I hooked up with Shane - the 40-something divorcee with 3 kids, covered in tatts, fitter and turner, rides a harley and has facial hair!! As I'm sure you can imagine my very straight parents were pretty shocked, but once they got to know him, and realised he's an alright sort, they got over it all, and now he's almost the prodigal son-in-law ;)
We had a 5:30am wakeup this morning. Grrrr - it stuffs up the morning cause now she'll be zonked at 11am, and up from her nap at 1:30 or so.
Oh well - I'm going to surprise shane and clean the house today! Its a mess, specially the bathrooms. No comments on nesting please!!! We are still 3w away.
-
Fi, good to hear that you got your relaxing day. You deserve it girl.
Thanks for telling me that boy's don't settle til 30. Just my luck I will get ones like that.
Hope that Jenna's haircut goes good today. Thankfully Tehya's isn't quite as curly so I can still get the brush through easy enough with some of the Johnsons Kids conditioning spray. Still after a few hours it does end up looking quite messy. She get's the worse bed hair too.
Belinda, nah I wasn't too rebelious, although I guess I could've made wiser choices in some of the things I did. Although I still go out clubbing too when I get the chance. And can last with the best of them, only it takes me the next week to get over it. Hangovers aren't as fun when you have a baby to get up to.
Bec, hope you got a decent nights sleep lastnight. Hope work is kind to you today too.
Simone, I hope that kids get better soon for you. Noah had a blood nose the other night too. Grose. Geez getting out to the pub or casino once a fortnight. Your not doing too bad there, half your luck.
Well, I am very happy that Damien won lastnight. The look on his face was priceless. I loved the way he sung the winning song, he did a fantastic job.
Not up to much today. Still tired, as usual Tehya was up about 3 times overnight then up for good by 6.30am.
I have the worst chaffed lips, I think I must've got them sunburnt last week at the races. They are still flakey, worse still they sort of had tiny blisters on them, almost like a coldsore but over my whole top lip, they have gone from there now but are above my lip, just under my nose. Not ugly or anything, just really itchy, don't know what to put on them though. Not sure if I should just rub coldsore cream into them and on my skin too. What do you girls think ??
Sorry Fi, posting at the same time. LOL on your change of men. Hey, we all do it. Although I started out with the hairy tattooed Shane and changed (several times) to the clean cut looking guys. Mark looks the complete opposite of Shane. Although they are the same age.
Hmm maybe I should clean the house too.... I keep waiting for the housekeeping fairy to come but she seems to fly right past me.
Does taht mean your not ready for bub if you deny any nesting urges ;) ??
-
Trish - I still haven't packed my bags..... I have bought all the pads though, and since I'm only likely to be in hossy 24hrs, I can't imagien I need much more than a change of clothes and a book. Imagine the relaxation time between feeding a newborn and not having a toddler around the whole time!!
I'm kidding myself right?
Get some Blistex for your lips. The one in the little pot - its seriously the best thing since sliced bread for lips!!!! They will be completely kissable in a few days. LMAO on the clean cut man. If you had seen my XH you would be shocked at what I'm with now...... Actually he scrubs up OK excpet in shorts when you can see all the naked women on his legs. 17 year olds in the navy make the best decisions on classy tattoos huh?
Well the next hour is going to be cleaning, and then I'm going to take little miss up the road for THE haircut! I'll take photos I think. I hope the girls fit me in somewhere. Its the salon Shane goes to ($10 mondays ;) - I spend a little more getting mine done....) so they love Jenna there. I might still have to get some spray or soemthing too. Is the stuff you use for babies Trish?
I couldn't stay up any longer to watch Idol. I hate all the dragging on crappola.
-
Well atleast you have your pads brought. Got to have the important things covered hey ;) I have a few extra pairs of undies though and a second change of clothes JIC. Nothing worse than having to get a male to bring in more stuff or if you leak everywhere. Oh the joys !!
The 24 hours in hospital is fine as long as other people keep their babies quiet. LOL. I hated hospital more for that reason, all the visitors that go in there with God knows what germs adn their snotty nosed brats. Then there is always a really unsetteled newborn who likes to scream the place down.
Enjoy your little rest, shame that you can't get someone to have Jenna for a day or 2 once you got home though, so much easier to settle in then. I did that with Joel when Brandon was born. Little did I know I'd be back in there within 2 weeks.
There are 2 differnt bottles of stuff that I used for Tehya. They are both in pink bottles, one is Johnson's Junior easy combing spray for wet and dry hair. That's really good. And the other has strawberrys on the bottle and is Johnsons kids No More Tangles Spray, strawberry sensation. That smells yummy. They are both great for her hair and leave it nice and soft too. Cost about $4 or so a bottle.
I crashed out watching Idol, I was so tired. Mark woke me up for the announcement and of course I fell back to sleep before they did it. I only opened my eyes with all the cheering and was like, Damn who won. Got to se the replay of the look on his face this morning though. Very sweet.
-
Morning all
Well, i should buy the johnsons stuff for my boys hair, they have so much of it... Time for a haircuts here too!! As declan has spent the last 2 weeks in bed, he actually has a patch of dreadies on the back of his head... He wont let me brush his hair, lil buggar...
Fi - if i have another one, im going to pack my bags at conception!!I spent so much time in hossy, and always had to rely on DH to bring my stuff in... he always brought the wrong things LOL. With Declan i had him at 8.30 the sunday night, then was outta hossy by 5pm the monday (would've been out by lunchtime, but they wanted to "observe" me a little longer) And that was long enough!! But after Anneliese, i didnt want to leav!! Stayed 6 days (c/s) then went back in due to probs for another 3 days. Oh wel... no more hossys for at least 5 years for me ;)
Trish - i think Anneliese is going to have red hair too, she may only be 5.5 months old, and have as much hair as Gabby :) but you can see its not going to be blonde like Declan, its red like Xanders! (Which is funny, as Xander isnt DH's, and i thought both the kids would look just like DH... but Anneliese looks like declan as a baby, but with reddy hair :D)
Another quiet day here, had to call in sick to daycare, the kids are still ill. I wanted to go to the drs today, might have to drag them all along. I have to get some tests done to make sure everything's out of me (yuck). Might have to wait until i have the car. I wish the kids would just get better!!
Meant to be 23 and fine here, might get some washing done...
-
Hi Ladies
I have been slack again...too much to do and not enough time, I guess. You have all been chatting up a storm, I was planning on doing personals but its too hard...LOL, see told you I was slack!
I finished all my Xmas shopping on Friday, WOOHOO!!! It is all wrapped and stashed, still need a few more pressies for Shannen though as the present count was out when we picked it all up, oh well! She has given me a few ideas. Just have my sister pressie to buy now, but thats easy, gardening stuff for her new house, not exciting but definitely needed.
Saturday Tayla played her last ever game of netball. She cant do it anymore, she has no fine motor skills and cant really run due to her left leg, major break when she was 4. So she has decided to do swimming instead. Hopefully it will help to strengthen her leg a bit. We went to Southland and had the girls Santa photo done. Hayley refused to sit on his knee but was happy to be held by Shannen, not a great photo, but okay. Also bought the girls some new clothes, they are happy with them.
I also went to the new uniform shop for Secondary School, Shannen needed a few bigger dresses, she is getting picked on a bit about her size, she isnt big or anything, just average, but she was happy as this new place has bigger cuts, so she has gone from a size 12 down to a size 8, and they were $12 cheaper too.
Hayley had her chickenpox needle last week, she hasnt been too bad at all. A little grumpier than usual. She also has 2 of her eye teeth coming through too. She is still so tiny though. She has had her first haircut, loved it! So at least I know there are no problems there.
I am trying to get everything in the house finished before Xmas, dont think its possible, since we have just decided to paint the hallway too. I will see how we go! I am off to the Drs tomorrow, am hoping that she wont go nuts at me. I am hoping to get the all clear, but I think she will send me for bloods and probably a mammogram, yuk!
I have Tayla home sick with a sore throat today, just what I didnt need. At least I have almost all the washing out, just a couple more loads of Shannens new stuff to go.
Another busy week here, with renovating, school runs, netball training, the netball Grand Final on Saturday, will be great. Then we are coming home and hopefully off to see the Myer windows on Saturday night, Sunday we are making our Xmas pudding, yummmmm!
A huge Hi to everyone and I will hopefully be able to catch up a little more often and be able to do personals too.
-
No tears through the haircut... Phew! It looks a little daggy, but in a few days I'm sure you wont be able to notice. If it hasn't worked I'll be going out to get some of that hair product for the madam!
-
At least Miss Jenna didnt cry... Declan hates haircuts. Xander adores them!! He's a prissy though LOL
-
Fi that's good Jenna liked having her hair cut.
I brought clippers to do Alex's. It's so much easier that way and why pay someone else to miss bits when i can do it. Alex had his 18months check with the CYN last week and he's doing well still 13kilos and 87cm long.
-
Yay for Jenna's successful haircut, Fi :)
Trish - ouchies @ the lips.
Michelle - you're brave doing Alex's hair! Tho I guess with boys it's not too hard... if you stuff up you can just shave the lot off, LOL.
Dinky - well done on getting the Chrissy shopping done.
Simone - I hope everything gets better for you real soon, mate.
I got called into work today. Got the call at 7am. Neil had only got home from night shift at 6:20am so I had to wake him to look after Gab. Poor guy. Apparently she was pretty good for him... had a nice arvo nap so he got a bit of sleep (tho the dope fell asleep on the couch instead of going back to bed).
It was good to finally get a day of work tho. Totally gorgeous little school. The kids were just amazingly well-behaved so I had an awesome day. The staff were super friendly too. With any luck I'll get a lot of work there. At least I've now paid for a few Chrissy presents ;)
-
Hey Mummas,
Well another day at work..its the same way I think of it Deb a day at work pays for some pressies :)
Fi: Cant wait till I see Jennas new do..I'm glad she was happy to have those long locks tamed ;)
Deb: How wonderful the school is a gem...makes a big difference. It's good for mums to have some time away from domestic duties
Trish :Hows those lips luv..
Michelle: You are clever with clippers I do DH's but he always whinges I cut him pmsl not like I try too
Eliza has been with MIL and Phil today
god knows what they got up too
I shouldnt complain they have been good. In my stupid way I offered to cook Christmas lunch...now regreting it. My mission of the week is to make Mil feel like she really wants to do it. I hope I have the skills :)
Better go and clean this mess of a house up...it is getting worse and worse the longer I have been working. I'm sure Nick has dumped a pile of clothes off the line in the study..lol thats why I grab the laptop and walk out and not look...wondering how long that may last
Bec
-
will say it again, gee you girls can chat lol
Mason now has what looks like the chicken pox, thought he might of escaped but doesnt seem so, hoping he only gets it mild because of having needle last week, we shall see, i have a spot on my leg, hoping that its not CP!
Hope you all got cleaning done for those who were cleaning, my Mum cleaned up here, she is going back home tommorow so then its up to me again, so not looking forward to that at all!
-
Simone, Hope you managed to get your washing done yesterday and that the kids are feeling better. Tehya was born with redhair so was Noah, there was no mistaking it for her though. Noah's has just gotten darker.
Dinky, good to see you popping your head in. YAY at having all the Chrissy shopping done too. Very organised by the sounds of it. Atleast you got your Santa pic done too, even if it wasn't the best. I'm thinking that's what I will get this year too.
Fi, yay at getting Jenna's haircut without tears. Got to love that. Did you end up taking pictures ???
Michelle, Does Alex sit still for you ??? Sounds like he's doing great and growing nicely there.
Deb, YAY for a day at work and even better that they were nice all round there. Mayeb you will get a few more days in before Christmas, especially now the school knows you. Al the extra $$ at this time of year never goes astray.
Bec, I have been volunteered into Christmas lunch too. I was just coming to terms with doing lunch for my family when Mark went and invited his family up to !!! I have never even done Christmas lunch before and now I have not 2 families to cater for but 3 pkus the extra's that come along. On the upside atleast we don't have to spend half the day in the car.
If you leave the laptop out of the study, say in your room, you won't have to go in there at all, then you can really hide from the washing pile ;)
My lips. OUCH !!! Got myself some Blistex, thanks Fi. Is it supposed to tingle when you use it ?? Anyway, I got up this morning and they look like collagen gone wrong. They are so bloody sore and swollen. I have little blisters all over them, looks like they are turning into one massive coldsore, my whole top lip is covered and the outside of my bottom lip. I'm hideous, lol, well not yet, but if it's worse I will be.
Had an interesting afternoon, Joel was sent home from school yesterday with what is suspected to be a broken nose, had him at the Dr's yest and he wants him in for xrays today. Not that they can do much for it but still better to know. It's killing him, Dr told him no contact sport for atleast 2 weeks. This is a kid that plays footy everyday !! He hasn't risen yet this morning so I don't know if he has black eyes yet or not.
Was hoping to get in for the xrays early today as it's supposed to get up to 40 degrees again today.
Went out to dinner last night for my grandfathers Christmas party. YAY free grog and and feed. Was nice to get out, but I was thinking of all the things I have to do over the next few weeks and I wil be out most weekends. Poor Mark, I think he's got one night out and I'm going along to that one. Might have to send im out midweek.

Oh no Trish, you're going to be hideous for the dinner on Saturday LOL!!! J/K I'm sure it's not that bad.
How are you going miss Dinky? Glad to hear everything is ready for Christmas. I still have quite a few pressies to get. I'm actually watching some things on ebay so I don't have to go to the shops LOL! Poor Hayley with Santa, but at least you managed a photo with all three girls.
Belinda, we're cleaning today, my car's getting serviced, so it's not like we can duck out to the shops to egt away from the mess LOL!
My ironing is stacked up like a mountain at the moment too Bec. I did an hours worth last night and more today *sigh* A mother's work never ends!
Deb, glad you got some more work. It's always good huh?! Sounds like a great little school too.
As for us, not much happening. As I said cleaning etc is on the agenda for today. We had a drawing date with Piper yesterday & when Zander woke up this morning he was shouting "Piper" so I think he enjoyed it. Gym tomorrow & then we're going out for lunch with Piper & her mummy. Thursday nothing, Friday work, BB Christmas dinner on Saturday woohoo :D Then Sunday we are getting our Chrissy tree going to Piper's mum's surprise birthday party. So yeah actually there is a lot happening LOL!

Yeah thanks Sarah.:p
Sounds like Zander loved his play date. How is the gorgeous little man going ?? You week sounds nice and busy like mine. Today was going to be my day at home, but now I have to run around with Joel. What's new there. Atleast it wasn't him getting into fights or anythign this time, and no police are needed this time either.
How is Piper going too ?? She must be getting big now too.

OOh Trish - lips are sounding nice. I wonder if they are on par with my nose of a couple of months ago?? That was seriously a beauty.
I dont know about tingling, but the blistex is great stuff - keep putting it on as often as you can. Always helps mine. So how did he break his nose? My little bro broke his a few times, ended up being crooked, but thats what happens when you are drunk and go to sleep with it all out of shape ;). Sounds like you are in the festive season alright! I think we have pretty much said no to most things in the next few weeks given I dont know whats happening with me babywise.
Sarah - Zander sounds like Jenna when we are going to play with Eliza. She absolutely loves her! Thats pretty cute though calling out Piper when waking up. We normally get Daddy..... Good luck on your washing and ironing. I am out of powder. Must fix that this morning!
Bec - Bring your leashes for the girls this morning. I'm glad you are going to be chasing them around leaving the fat pregnant one to sit on the ground and listen to the stories!
Deb - great about the school - I hope you get lots of work exactly when you want it! Not when Neil is working ;) And go thte money for Chrissie presents!!
Belinda - bugger about the CP - hope you get out of it unscathed!
Simone - Sorry you have had an even tougher week than I realised. Big hugs for you :(
Right - I better finish cleaning some of this house. I did a fair bit yesterday for Shane tocome home and say - WHERE???. Darn it all. I must remember to clean up in the 20mins before he gets home so cyclone jenna doesn't have a chance to mess it up before he sees it!
We had large conversations abotu the rubbish truck this morning - her favourite weekly visitor. She started off calling it a "big truck" but we managed to refine that to "ubbis truck" which I am pretty sure she gets now. We even looked at pictures in her machine book ;) But then she went and bit me, so is in the bad books a little....... Grrrrr

Fi, I am using both blistex and cold sore cream. Joel was playing footy at lunch time when he fell and another boy fell on top of his head and smashed his head into the ground.
I don't blame you for saying no to all of the Chrissy things. Of course you have the perfect excuse.
I do the big run around 30 mintues before Mark gets home too. All the cleaning I do during the day is undone by the time he gets home. That way it is atleast half tidy. Gives you the craps when they don't noice the clean up too especially when you've made an extra effort.
