OMG Trish she's definitely grown up since you guys saw her. Talks non stop & repeats everything. She's a crack up! A little bossy, but then again Zander is a real pushover! He's going really well. Has his first big scabby knee after spending the day with Granny on Saturday. You'd think seeing as it was the first time he stayed with her for more than an hour that she'd be extra careful, but nope. His poor little knee is so swollen :(
Zander is obsessed with the garbage truck as well & will drag me into his room to see it every Monday morning! LOL at Shane saying where yesterday, although I'm sure you weren't laughing. You'd think he'd know better than to say something like that to a heavily pregnant woman. And IKWYM about the cyclone & needing to clean u 2 mins before daddy gets home! I don't bother though.
-
I try to load up the dishwasher before he gets home, and that makes a big difference. I vacuumed all bar the front rooms yesterday, so of course it didn't look clean in the front of the house when he got home, so he didn't notice the rest.
I even changed the sheets on the spare bed - despite him saying "why???". ummm - cause they have been on there for 3m? Regardless of them not being slept in that much, they are still well overdue for a change.
Welcome the vacuuming waits for no person, and Jenna has just about got over her Hi5 encounter this morning. If I put it on I can keep her pretty much confined to the lounge for about 25mins...... We are at the tail end of that ;)
-
Sarah, I think little girls are definately more assertive (my nice word for bossy and stubborn) Tehya is very head strong.
Ouchies on Zanders scabby knees too. Must get a good picture of them, what's a little boy without a scabby knee picture ;) So he finally stayed at Grannys house hey. The first time Mark took Noah down to his parents house without me he got hurt too.
-
Bec - PMSL @ ignoring the pile of washing in the study. Silly girl for offering to cook at Chrissy! Delegate woman! Delegate! Just cook the meat and get everyone to bring the rest, hehehe. I've scored a great deal this year. Cos Gab and I have to drive down to Geelong on Christmas morning (Neil finishes night shift at 6am that morning so he's gonna stay home and sleep then come down later) by Mum and sisters are cooking everything. Swwwweeet! Hope the m/s hasn't kicked in by then. I want turkey!
Belinda - woo hoo for your Mum cleaning for you. Gotta love Mums. When Gab's an adult she's gonna miss out because her Mum is the worst cleaner in the world. LOL. Oh no @ Mason's chicken pox. No fun! Hehehe...yep... we can chat! We're shadows of our former selves tho!
Trish - I reckon you'll do a brilliant job at cooking Christmas lunch. You're so used to cooking for stacks of people so you'll have it down pat ;) Ouchies at the lip. I can just see you looking in the mirror howling; "I am not an animal!!!"... hehehe. Oh I shouldn't laugh. Sounds so painful.
How on earth did Joel break his nose? I hope it wasn't a punch-up. I imagine it's quite painful too.... and to take sport away from him - that'd probably kill more! You social butterfly, you.. having your weekends all booked up.
Gone are those days for me. *sigh*... I need to make some friends. How do I do that without seeming desperate?? ;)
Sarah - awww @ Zander calling out Piper. Isn't it great when they have little buddies? Gab saw Paige the other weekend when we were in Geelong (we got to hang out for the day) and OMG... there were kisses and cuddles.. and arguments... then more cuddles! So cute! Ooo have fun at the BB Christmas dinner. Say hi to everyone for me!
Fi - LOL @ your rubbish truck conversation. Sounds hilarious. OMG... don't you hate it when they don't notice the housework? I stayed up last night until 11pm folding washing. What's the bet Neil doesn't even comment (after having a dig at me the other day when he brought the washing in... he said; "Gee I'm a good housewife". Bugger!).
Can you believe a train went past for the first time during the night last night? It was about 1am. We live right next to the railway line. During the day it's not so bad. The train slows right down so it's not overly loud. I reckon 5 have gone past the whole time we've been here. It's just a frieght line so that's why we weren't stressed about living so close to it. But, yeah... last night... OMG! I'd already gotten up to Gab 2 times to give her dummy back. I was enjoying the portacot where the bloody dummy couldn't go walk-abouts. Do you reckon she woke? Nup! A fricken train can go past and she's fine... but if I pull the plug out of the bath... "Waaaaaaah!".
ETA - OMG... all the posts while I was typing this one! Chatterboxes!!
-
Gosh Fi, when i was pg, i organised to have people around to clean the house for me... Smack Shane 'round the head a little for that comment...
i got up at 6am to clean out the kids playroom... havent done it since we moved in (end of may) as i was on bed rest, and went into labour 2w later!!
I dont have ironing, as i deliberately buy clothes that dont need to be ironed... and as for my washing pile, i put it on the couch, so when the kids are in bed, i sit on the couch, watch tv and fold washing. Did all the sheets yesterday, and a bird crapped on 3 of them. i was p!ssed...
-
Debbie: I am hoping my boys find tidy wives because i wont be doing it either for them! I lucked out having a clean freak of a Mum myself, MIL is the oppisite!
Trish: I hope that Joel is ok
Sarah: hope you got that cleaning done after been trapped at home lol
Simone: Good for you and your cleaning effort this morning, i dont do that hour of the morning
Actually Mason woke up a few weeks ago at 6.30am, i went in and said mum doesnt do 6.30am! he went back to sleep till after 8am so that was good, i wasnt getting him up anyhow so he had no choice really
Mason is saying Cooper's name today, is cute, he was holding him on his lap earlier and putting dummy in and patting his belly, got it on video so that was good, he was quiet happy with him laying on him
-
Sheesh, I can't keep up in here anymore!! LOL
Violet had her firls bee bite about a week ago! I had to keep an eye on her becasue my Dad was allergic, and I had a mild reaction (which was PAINFUL for DAYS!!) She stared to swell up (her thumb) but it went down pretty quickly, and a couple of hours later it was fine.
Deb, I stayed at my friends place a few years ago and they live on the train track almost (alrigh a bit of an exageration) and after the inital, "What the hell is that?!" it actually put me back to sleep... Yeah I know, I'm weird!
Belinda, how CUTE!!! Mason, sounds like a sweety!
Simone, deliberatly buying clothes that don't need ironing...Phwah!! i just don't bother ironing, even if it is a crinkly as an old mans bum!! LOL
Sarah, LOL at the garbage truck obession!! Emily used to be the same, I would run out ontop the road so she could get closer, and the truck driver would always give a hearty wave :D
Not a lot going on here... went swimmin in the goulburn yesterday (Vic's largest River, but you all knew that right?? ;) ) The girls loved it! Ummm... that's all I can think of...

Tanya

Deb, I have worked it out to do minimal cooking :) We are doing pork roasts, mum is bringing the ham and Mark's mum is bringing some chooks. His SIL who is Thai will be sure to add a different flavour to our roast lunch for sure.
Hun I'm your friend, just abit too far away for a cuppa hey.
Simone, don't you hate it when the birds get your washing. Either that or the freshly washed car. I like to be up early only if the kids are asleep. I like the quiet. Of course I'd much rather the sleep though.
Belinda, I really hope the spots are CP afterall. Lucky the you got Mason's injection already. How very cute Mason sounds with Cooper.
Tanya, good to have you in here again. This is what our threads used to be like when we were all pg together. WOW that seems like a long time ago now.
Ouchy on Violets bee sting, poor bubba, they hurt too.
Joels nose isn't broken thank God, just nice and bruised. Haven't been back to the Dr's yet, I just opened up the xray slip myself and read it.
Got nice and hot here today but we just had a thunder storm for a whole 10 minutes, I'm sure that will only serve to make it steamier outside.
-
Tanya: Glad you had a nice swim yesterday, i have never heard of the place so i didnt know lol
Trish: Glad its not broken at least, saves having to deal with that as well
I just got to cook lunch and eat it and noone woke up to join me, how lucky is that, sad but i am happy about that lol
Otherwise not doing much at all here
-
Belinda, its nice having lunch to yourself, mine were awake, and i cooked myself pumpkin and Potato doup with cheese muffins, then had to share it... LOL
-
Belinda, no hun it's sad when you get excited about getting to have a crap by yourself !!
Good to hear that you got your lunch to yourself. I hid and got an iceblock to myself. Does that count ??
Simone, sounds like you had a yummy lunch too,. Far too hot for soup for lunch here today though.
-
Wow on getting an iceblock all to yourself Trish!! Thats a rare occurance in our household. We are trying to teach her to share one with us, but normally she loses the plot if we dont let her hold and eat the whole thing. Little pig.
I went to the library with Bec today for story time which was nice. Well if you think its nice to chase kids all over the library. Jenna thought Eliza was just the bees knees. Quite cute. And then Bec and I battled to get a place at the table to do the drawing activity - battling grammas - can you believe it? And these women were so anal with their drawing. "colour the eyes only in the middle" "use this colour for the eyes" "how about we do this here". All the kids really want to do is go to town andscribble everywhere, but what doI know. I haven't go their years of experience ;)
Tanya - We have got our garbo to wave a few times too. Woohoo at swimming in the river! Whats the state of it? Still full or getting a little low.
Belinda - sending your child back to sleep. OMG - that sounds like bliss!! Jenna does 6am starts most mornings. I guess I'm getting used to it.
Dinner cooked - leftovers from the freezer. Yay for an easy meal!
-
PMSL Trish, i never ever let them go in toilet with me so well trained there, i just put Mason in the cot when he was smaller and do the same with Cooper now to save him from Mason, they carrying on sometimes but ah well, have to do somethings whether they carry on or not
Fi: I am not a morning person so they dont have a choice at all, i will not get out of bed before 7am, and thats still way too early for me!
Simone: your lunch did sound good, could eat that now with a crusty roll, although its way too hot here for it as well
-
OMG what a busy day in here :)
Trish: OMG I always check the radiographers report before making a doctors appointment, saves money ..lol I'm glad it is just bruised
Fi: Nasty grandmas..they gave me the ****s lol if you couldnt tell.
Deb: Chrissy sounds great for you guys, lol at the train not waking missy up she is prob so use to it, bath noise is scarey
Belinda: Mason is sooo clever, yeah for lunch all alone...it must be nice not to contend with little fingers and mess
Simone:Obvious the birds liked your sheets lol Yumm soup sounds devine
I am happy cause Nick just found the libary book that has been missing for a few weeks, but annoyed that he has to tell me that if I bothered to look pmsl in the study under the pile off clothes ( that I just folded) I'm sure it was somewhere else. Not looking forward to tonight already had one wake up and its only 10 yep work tomorrow and daycare she is prob sharpening her teeth in anticipation of what is surely going to be another incident report tomorrow
Bec
-
OMG Bec, i found 2 library books today that have been missing for like 8 months... they library actually got a debt collection agency to send me a letter for $180 - for the 2 books!!! I laughed at them. Now im just going to run the books in, drop them and never go back in... Not paying a fine!! Soup was great, kids ate all my bikkies... they are so easy- 1 egg, coconut, sugar and cornflour, mixed and 15mind in the oven!! the kids werent too hyper after them surprised though, as there's 1/2 a cup of sugar in the batch...
Well, chrissy is at Dh's grandma's house in Sunbury this year, she's 70 and just had a hysterectomy so that'll be fun!! we're buying the pressies from her, and we're cooking all the food... I asked to have it at my place, that way i wouldnt have to travel, but "Big Nan" got in first. Says she's be dead the next time it comes around to her (there's 7 families to share chrissy around with now, thank goodness they all live in either Tullamarine, Sunbury or Keilor... not much travelling to do each chrissy day!!)
-
Fi, it's a very rare occurance in this house too. All of my kids are piggies. I have yet to take my little ones to the library. They are far too roudy for somewhere that is meant to be quiet. Although I really should love into it. Our library is pretty new. Only been rebuilt for about 12 months.
Belinda, you are such a lucky mum to go to the loo by yourself. How are the spots going ??
Bec, lucky at Nick finding the book. Of course he wouldn't have found it without your help ;) good girl for folding the washing too. It takes us a couple of hours to get through ours. That's because I am lazy and let it pile up. Although that will happen within a few days with 6 people in the house.
I hope Eliza is a good girl today at daycare, and no more biting. Hey, maybe she was trying to defend herself ???
Simone, I guess Granny may have a point there, but what about next year when she's still alive ?
Went into the Dr's yest to get my mouth checked. I have herpes. LOL. That sounds grose. A coldsore sounds so much better. It is starting to go up towards my nose and down to my chin, WT, I am on these tablets the Dr so kindly gave me a sample pack. They use it for genital herpes and chicken pox, so hopefully their strong enough to stop this horrid thing, the bottom half of my face is tingling and itching like mad.
My silly daughter was just crying saying ouch. I didn't know what was wrong but could see she hadn't herself so I left her. Anyway seh walks over to me still saying oww and crying when I spot in her mouth one of those little hair clips, you know the little claw type ones you can get for babies hair ?? Anyway she had bitten it and the thing had caught on the inside of her cheek. Poor chook. She was smiling again once I got the thing out.
Already getting warm today here. Hope all have a good day and bubba's are well behaved too.
-
Trish - oh no! Herpes! How on earth did you catch that? Hope it clears up soon. Awww poor Tehya with the hair clip... that'll learn her for trying to eat stuff like that ;)
Simone - hope Christmas at Grandma's turns out ok. It's great that no one has to travel too far :)
Bec - hope you got a decent sleep last night. LOL @ Nick finding the library book under that pile of washing. Wasn't it he that hid that washing in the first place?? ;)
Belinda - I'm not a morning person either. Spose it's good that I've been blessed with a great sleeper, hey? God help me if this next one doesn't like to sleep thru eventually.... well, God help Neil, hahaha.
Fi - good job with the leftovers for dinner.
Tanya - glad that Violet coped really well with her first bee sting. I remember mine. I screamed like a crazy person, LOL. It's good that she's not allergic.
-
Oh Trish - thats what I got too with my cold sore on my nose! It was my first ever cold sore, and it was truly, truly revolting. I didn't want to leave the house for days. Unfortunately for Bec she was too nice and put up with the mammoth beast on my nose (and on the inside....) so at least I didn't feel like too much of an outcast.
I find the library up the road much better than what they used to be re: noise. I dont mind Jenna running a muck, and in fact I find the older people that go there during the day dont mind either. I think they like the fact there are still parents that read to their children ;)
So yeah - Jenna is well known down there for being a beast, but unfortunatley our library is shutting down in Jan fora rebuild so it will be a new bunch of librarians getting used to my noisy child.
Poor Teyha on her mouth! Ouchies.
Hope Eliza slept OK for you last night Bec. I am without a car today. Housebound in the rain. But thats OK. I can get the toilets and bathrooms cleaned! And maybe do some baking although I have no butter. Hmmm - I wonder how expensive it is from the servo? only about 400m walk away...
Simone - its ridiculous how much the library cahrges for books. At the moment we have a lift the flap Spot book that needs some repairs... one flap pulled off! I'm very scared how much I'll get charged for it if we dont patch it up well enough to get through the initial scan.
I might even pack my labour bag today! What an exciting idea ;)
-
LOL... have fun packing, Fi! I'm tipping the butter at the servo will be around $3 ;) Rip-off merchants!
-
Deb, herpes simplex is just the proper name the coldsore virus has. I just had a look in the mirror, a close one because this morning when I checked I had no glasses on. The tip of my nose has little blisters too :( I am not an animal !!!! Each time I think of how itchy it is I thank GOd its on my face and not on my fanny !!! OUCH indeed.
Fi, buggar that the library is getting rebuilt, well it's not coz it will be better but still you will have to miss out for a while. It's nice and sunny here today, but not going to be as hot as yesterday thankfully.
Good girl for packing your bag. Now bub can get itself moving. Hey, do you have a feeling as to what sex bub is ?? I'm backing another girl I think.
I just called up my mummy and told her about my face. She has offered to lend me some $$ so I can go and buy some Zovirax cream, stuff cost's like $15 and I'm poor, even had to get money out of the damn AGC card yesterday for fuel. Shh dont tell Mark. Of course i have the money aside for the kids swimming today, they always come first, don't they.
-
Trish - you gotta love mummies for helping when in need... my mum helped me pay my bills when i got back from Perth (DH - not standing for darling husband either - didnt pay anything with his pay, $2500, monthly pay. So mum helped with an initial payment so they didnt shut everything off.
Fi - getting your hossy bag packed might be a good idea, as you could quite easily go from now!!
Well, my house is clean (spent last night doing it, including toilets :D) i was going to mop and do washing today, but didnt realise the weather was meant to be crappy today.... so overcast and cool!! And Anneliese is very clingy... miows every time i put her down (she's cried so much she's hoarse and exhausted and only miowing. I wrapped her and have cuddled her tightly and she's still not happy but quiet... THank God. Her constant crying was doing my head in...
DAMN i didnt realise it was rainging and left my doona out on the line overnight... now its sopping wet!! As its meant to be 36 tomorrow, i expected it to be reasonable today... sorry i forgot i was living in melbourne!!! LOL
-
My nose took all of 1 day to flare up trish. It was horrendous!! And it was soooooooo swollen. When I was reading up on the internet about what it "could" be, I called bec in a state of absolute panic crying and crying about it being herpes. And then I finally clicked (thanks mat ;) ) that it was the cold sore herpes - not the other one! Phew. It wouldn't have been the best thing to hand on to Jenna, but better than fanny blisters I say.
Try the amcal cream for the cold sore - its half the price of the zovirax, and has the same level of active ingredient in it.
Bummer on being so broke. I'm waiting for the day my card gets declined.... specially at this time of year with all the spending we have been doing on presents and food!
I did some baking, but just stuff with only 50g of butter, so I didn't need to go out and buy any. Hopefully I can hold out with 150g left until later in the week and I'll go shopping properly. Jenna is on a butter craze at the moment! Eveyrhing that resembles bread HAS to have butter on it. Then she picks the butter off and leaves the bread behind. Grrrrr.
Dont know what bubs is - its a boy or a girl. For the first little while I thought it was a girl, but now I'm thinking boy. Not sure why. We will find out in a few weeks. Didn't get the bag apcked - its in Jenna's wardrobe and she's asleep now, but I did get the bathrooms and toilets cleaned. Luverly.
Deb - you sure were blessed with a good sleeper in Gab. Here's hoping the next little angel is just as obliging for you! It might run in your genes?? Fingers crossed.
-
Trish - aww good on your Mummy for buying you some zovirax. Definitely needed by the sounds of it.
Simone - gotta love it when the weather keeps us guessing.
Fi - good job with the baking. LOL @ Jenna and the butter. I have a feeling that sleep might run in the genes. Mum said all 4 of us were good sleepers. Hanna was the worst because she was lactose intolerant as a bub but, even then, she'd still sleep at least 8 hours. Maybe that's why Mum could fathom 4 kids?? LOL
-
LOL... Fi I am soooooo funny!! I read your post and read Amcal as animal... dunno how... I was thinking oh my, there's a bit of trivia. I'll have to remember that. Lucky I reread your whole post!! LOL... I could just imagine me recomending animal herpies cream to ppl with cold sores!!! LOL
Tanya
-
PMSL Tanya, I am a wealth of useless information ;)
-
Hahahaha... Tanya ya dag!
-
Hmmm why is it when I get a chance to come onto BB for the first time all week, Adrian decides he`s no longer happy playing with his toys.
I`ll be back sometime soon (I hope LOL)
:hello:
-
I'm still having flashbacks at the phone call that Fi gave me when she googled her symtoms and got herpies..oooh gotta love google. Crappy nights sleep here!! Of course watching "Tractor Tom at 2.45am wasnt the best of ideas lol. Hope I get a good nights sleep tonight..guee I whinge alot lol
Better go just popped on to let Eliza's SS know her present arrived, just gotta find the right thread.
Night Night
Bec
-
Sorry for crashing your thread guys but I googled cold sores and ended up here! lol
Just wanted to let Trish know that the best remedy for cold sores in Bi Carb Soda! I have suffered with cold sores all my life and recently was told about this and it is FANTASTIC. Even better than zovirax and HEAPS cheaper. Just make it into a paste and put it on. Can be messy as it dries up and falls off, but the mess is well worth the result. Apparently it works great on pimples too.
-
Thats a great idea Sarah..ohh I'm laughing thinking about Fi's nose with bicarb on it...people might of thought she snorted stuff.
Forgot to say Eliza bit 2 kids today.its like a tally board now :(
Will do personals tomorrow..tut tut to me
Bec
-
Hey sarah
Its ok, you can crash our thread :D thats a great remedy!! i wonder if my 3yo will let me paint his face with the bi carb...
-
Sarah, thanks for that. How funny that of all my post's a damn one about my monsterous coldsore came up on google. I am getting pretty desperate now so I may actually try the bi carb. Problem is I will need it over half of my face
Bec, you didn't put a movie on at that time did you ?? Silly mummy, still when your desperate for sleep you will try anything.
Dee, good to see you in here. Hope the boys are going well and you get back soon to tell us how you are going.
Tanya, I read your post and was thinking WT ?? Then I realised what you were talking about. LOL. Bags not putting the animal herpes cream on either the animals or myself ;)
Fi, I got the Zovirax for $12, then of course I saw this post when I got home. Oh well, I have started to use it but not sure how it's going. This definately isn't a normal sort of coldsore. Normally I would get it on my lip, but this is spreading little blisters to my cheeks, nose, and chin, they are so bloody itchy too. I'll never complain about the scabby ones again on my lip.
Be sure to get to packing your bag tomorrow. You don't want to be running around during your super fast labour trying to pack it all. (Yes, I'm sending you speedy labour vibes) YAY on all of your baking too. Sure you aren't nesting ??? LOL
Deb, how are you and Gabby going ?? Oh and of course little Bie ?? If you got the great sleeper in the group then I definately got the worse one, Teh has still never slept through the night. The most we ever had was one wake up overnight. Very sad given that she's nearly 21 months old.
Had a very eventful day. A few unexpected surprises too. Check out my post in Medical conditions.
Tehya did ok at swimming. She didn't pass today's class though so we have to try again next week. Still I am very happy with her progress.
Better take my butt into bed. Very tired and itchy. Time for more cream I think...Again, I think thank God it's not my fanny !!! That's got to hurt....
Bec, wow Eliza is out doing herself. I guess there's not alot you can really do for biting and she's still little. Does she bite at home ?? Maybe it's a frustration thing. LMAO at Fi snorting the Bi carb.
-
Bec - If its any consolation Jenna bit me again today..... Little $%&#())@&%. She was really upset at the time, and I was cuddling her, and she bit my neck.
If she does it once more I will bite her back. Hard. Really, really hard. Grrrr
Shane is off for the rally this morning. He decided that Jenna had his harley keys this morning, so he wandered around for about 20mins looking everywhere for them, asking jenna if she had seen Daddy's keys. I finally found them. In his bag. Dufus!
So hopefully he will get a good day out on the bike and burn a bit of his stress out. Hopefully he doesn't get arrested!
I hope your face gets better quickly Trish - the worst thing about mine was definitly the swelling, and the pain! The scabs took about 2w to go. Yuck!!!
Well I better get ready to go. The Toys r Us catelogue had a cool desk/playset thingy that we have decided to buy jenna for Christmas. I'm not 100% on it, but its $200 off, (down to $100) and apparently the shop doesn't know how many they are getting, and have recommended I queue outside the shop at 8:45 to get a guaranteed stock. SO not into it. Do you reckon Shane would know if I didn't do it?? I could tell him, I'm sure he wouldn't know.
-
LOL Fi... yeah... you could make up some story about a free-for-all outside toys-r-us and that you just missed out! ;) Ouch @ Jenna biting you. Gab's a pincher more than a bighter. I'm with you tho... she pinches me, I pinch her back!
No work for me today because of the strikes. I'm not sure Johnny Howard's guilt-trip on teachers worked, LOL. Funny that. Either way, emergency teachers can't be hired to cover teachers if they are away because of a strike. I remember once I was working (had been booked in before the strike so I was still able to be there) and it was a glorious day to be at work. Hardly any kids, a handful of teachers and a day of nothing but fun and play! I wasn't going to strike if it meant I missed out on $200... no way! LOL
Trish - I'll have to go and check out your other thread. You poor thing with your coldsores getting worse! Hope the bi-carb does the trick.
Urggh... Gabby just poured her breakfast all over her chair... better go clean it up. I'll be back!
-
YUCK! at all the puss scab talk in here!! I do not envy you Trish!! Poor girl...
You girls wanna hear something funny!? I have snorted bicarb!!! LMAO!! It was in high school.. and it hurt!! What a dumb a$$!!
Violet only bites Emily... norty!!
So did you get the dest Fi...LOL! Not into lining up at shops either!!
Trish, isn't Tehya a clever little girl!! I astill think swimming lessons should be subsidised!! It is so importent esp for the country kids will all the water around their properties.
Catch you all soon... Violet just pooed on the floor!!
Tanya
-
PMSL Tanya... hope you had fun cleaning up the poo.
We snorted whizz-fizz in high school. We were so cool!! hahaha
Bec - sorry forgot to say before... LOL @ keeping a tally of Eliza's bighting. She must just go to childcare with some tasty lookin' kids ;)
We've been to playgroup and back. Gab decided she could climb the rope ladder. She couldn't do it last week. She was halfway up when one of the ladies said to me "Is your little girl ok?". By the time I got to her, she was up and ready to go down the big slide. I wonder what it'll be next week. Cheeky monkey.
-
Hey all - Tanya - I got to the shop at abotu 10am, and they still had the things there, actually they had 3 of them, but the queue was HUGE, and I so wasn't going to line up for 30mins with Jenna being ratty and a cup of tea on the wait at bec's house. Besides, it looked like cheap crap, and we have a nice timber set on order for Chrissie, so I think I'll just wait til then.
I really want to have a set that other kids can sit at with Jenna when they come over, a desk sort of defeats the purpose.
Well Shane went into the rally, and is home. He said it was pretty disappointing that there weren't as many people as they thought there would be. Not to start a political debate, but if people who agree with these protests dont start making some sacrifices now and getting to these rallies, Australia aint going to have anywhere near the working conditions they have now in 10y time.
I went through it all in NZ, and spent my entire working time through high school and uni without penal rates. Its not right, and working families have to stand up and make themselves heard. Otherwise its not going to be fun for our kids in the future.
OK - moan over.
-
Is it hot down there, Fi? Maybe the heat is keeping everyone away?
Good idea getting the nice timber set for Jenna instead. Gab's table and chairs have been sooo handy.
-
Nah Deb...lol I will answer its getting a tad steamy I think the heat will be humidity. Wow Gab sounds really co-ordinated clever little girl. Hows it doing up your way..do you have a bad bushfire season?
Trish: Hope your mouth and cheeks are feeling better with the cream, I dont get herpies lol
Fi: Yeah umm can you come back and help me clean the mamoth child mess up pmsl. Eliza just wanted to say goodbye to Jenna obviously she couldnt handle knowing the Jenna was awake and her nasty mum had put her to sleep
Tanya: OMG it sounds like it hurts..not going to ask why ;), It hurts when I laugh and snort drink out my nose..Eww poo hope it wasnt a runny one
Simone: Hope your looking forward to a biggy on Sat night..lol I have already told Fi to help me behave pmsl
Well a quiet day here, I have to go and get some grocerys the poor cat is eating tuna from a tin and looks unimpressed.
I have to have a scan tomorrow, Fi thinks I'm getting sympathy pains for her as I have had like labour pains ( well what I imagine they feel like) One great thing about dodgy cervix no labour pain!!) I told her if I wet myself when her waters break I will not be happy.
