Hey all, no baby. This is getting worse than my mother calling to ask!! I would have thought you guys would have learnt from last time how annoying it gets to be asked all the time if you have popped yet ;) Going late sucks.
We are goign to try Santa this morning. I'm going to haev a shower with missy soon, put a pretty dress on, and see how we go.
Jenna's teddy on her lanyard got into the bath last night, sohe is looking a little worse for wear. I tried telling Jenna that teddies dont like water, but apparently she thought they really were quite dirty. Banana went in too...... Bed time was almost a disaster (she has to go to bed with nanie) but I managed to avoid a disaster by pulling out a stuffed parrot that we were saving as a present from bubs. Phew. She was happy with birdie :D

Dont know what im doing today, boys are in daycare, just me and anneliese, thinking of going shopping, nees a new microwave, bunk beds i can separate for the boys, and a bar fridge thats a freezer (easier than a chest freeer). Gonna cost me a fortune...

Bec - wow @ the bargains from your friend. Stuff buying them new, hey? Eliza will love thar car. Gab loves hers (tho she still can only go backwards... mainly she likes to get in and out of the thing, LOL). Sorry you're feeling sick mate :( You're right... no one should get a cold in this heat!
Belinda - sounds like a good idea treating Luke to a special trip. I guess older siblings (when there's a bit of a gap like that) end up taking on a lot more responsibility than the other kids, hey?
Worked today at another gorgeous school with lovely kids and staff. They're all winding up for Chrissy so the activities are pretty basic but they a kept busy. Gab is still in bed. Neil put her down at 2:30pm apparently! She must have been tired.

Just wanted to say a quick HI to you all!
Isnt Melbourne just horrible today, all the smoke from the fires, YUK!!! At least it doesnt seem to be getting too hot though!
Hayley is doing quite well right now, although not sleeping in her cot, but with us instead. She is sleeping a lot more recently, think it might be a growth spurt, she finally has one of her eye teeth through. I am hoping that she will be good this weekend though.
I am off to Beechworth tomorrow for a memorial service for my beloved uncle who passed away on Wednesday, its meant to be horrible up there, 41 tomorrow, and we will be surrounded by smoke, hopefully the fires will die down a little so that we dont get stuck up there. Friends of mine are coming to look after the girls tomorrow night and Monday as they wont be coming with us.
Apart from that not a lot happening, have a few more pressies to buy for Xmas, somehow managed to get the numbers wrong and Shannen needs 5 more presents, thankfully she has given us a list, since she no longer believes. Have a birthday and Xmas present to get for my sisters partner, just not sure when I will find the time.
Cooking Xmas pudding today, so that will be fun, been a while.

We're just hanging out inside today to stay out of the heat. Neil tried to work on the fence for a couple of hours but he said it was so hot he felt he was going to pass out.

Just bought a cool blue piping bunk bed for the boys, one i can separate until they are older. I also bought a chest freezer (as my freezer on my fridge is tiny) and DH wanted a deep fryer. We still need mattresses, so no slow cooker for me :( I really wanted one too, as im having so much trouble cooking atm, it would be so much easier just to chuck everything into a pot...

Well not much happening here, recovering from a night out last night, was a last minute thing but was a good night, i drank way too much though lol, but didnt feel as bad as i thought this morning at least
Bill might be out of a job in the new year, havent really thought about it much today as i was too busy recovering but guess it will hit me tommorow, hope something else comes along very fast!

WE are sectretly wishing for Shane to get a redundancy. Actually there isn't too much secret in it, but we have been asking for it for about 2y now. He has a lovely package that is owed to him, and it would pay off our house.
I dont care what we live on then - if we are mortgage free thats half the battle!

Belinda - I'm very jealous! I wanna be able to drink too much!! LOL Nahh.. I'd settle for being able to have a few. Bummer about Bill's job. What happened? I hope he finds something soon.
Fi - that would be nice to be mortgage-free! That won't happen for us for a lonnnnnnng time. Oh well... I shouldn't complain. Our mortgage is pretty small compared to a lot of people (and so is our house, LOL).
Thinking about taking Gab to the local pool today. It's an outside pool that's only open over the summer (run by volunteers etc.). We'll have to see how hot it gets. Either way, I don't care if I look like a beached whale... I'm gettin' in the water!

Had an interesting day yesterday work with a slight hangover this Nick getting Eliza to sleep is wonderful for 5 out of the last 6 nights I go out and have a vino and come home when she is asleep...I said A vino not alot of vino
Bad night again it is hard because she has a cold and starts coughing and spluttering so I prefer to be with her incase she vomits everywhere.
Deb: Pool sounds great and god today I am even going to the beach with Eliza..lol we are taking the wetsuit ;)

So he keeps on going on and on I keep telling him I want a brand spanker and he wants a farmlet so I reckon we will be here for a while longer lol.
The argreement last night was a farmlet next to a modern house and we would live seperatley..how blissful he can hoard his crap at his place.
Better go I told Nick I wanted him and Eliza out of the house to mop the floors they will be home soon..lol

Fi, hope you managing ok in the heat down there too. I'm not going to ask if you've had bub, because obviously you haven't or we would all know about it hey. Hope miss Jenna is being a good girl for you and letting you get some rest.

We went to the pool. It doesn't open until 1. Gab crrrracked it when we got home because she thought we were going somewhere. She's just chucked the biggest tantrum that I've ever seen her throw. I had to carry her inside (she ran to the corner of the block because she didn't want to come inside). She threw a wobbly on the floor and got herself SO worked up. I made her have a few sucks on an icey pole to cool her down but she kept cracking it when we looked at her or spoke to her. Total nonsense. So she's in bed with nothing but a nappy on and the fan blowing on her. Poor chook.

Well Jenna has caught Eliza's cold, which isn't surprising seeing as though they were almost pashing the other day ;) Poor thing is all snotted up, and is very cranky.
Shane has been watching her for most of the morning so I could get some sewing done, and the bloody bugger just kept putting on the DVD's for her, and then fell asleep in front of TV. So at 12 I go trhough and say - whats going on, is TV still on? Grrrr!!! SHe is almost impossible to get down straight from TV when she is so bloody tired. We had major dramas, and I just get so annoyed when he thinks she is fine in front of TV for so long. She is not fine, its not OK, and I shouldn't have to tell him this after so many efforts!!!!!!

OK, back. No, not really alright though. I think I am catching Simone's bad luck.
Went to the Robbie concert lastnight. Was bloody fantastic. Got down right near the stage, about 3 rows back. Could not believe it. 2 hours of lining up. 5 hours without a pee, 5 films later, some tears from me when he sung Angels and lots of loud screams it was all over. We decided to start wakling towards Central station from Moore park, hoping we would get a cab on the way. Ran across the road and feel on my bloody face. Apparently I can fly now. I tripped over I guess what you would call a medium strip, not a big one, just a bump in the road. Anyway, face first in the middle of the road in front of a 4 WD. Thank God he saw me. He had just turned the corner, had he been going straight he prob would've hit me. And because I was already on the road it would have gotten my head.
My big right toe is a mess. Lost the top of it, taken a big chunk out, the flat of skin was still partially conected so we just pushed it back down. Anyway, nail is purple, so is my whole toe. It is very swollen and Dr wants me to have xray's tomorrow because she thinks I have fractured it. It's too swollen to just be flesh wounds. Meany Dr made me have a tetanus shot. Damn those things hurt. I swear she gave it to me to take my mind off my foot. LOL.
Dinky, sorry to hear of the loss of your Uncle. Good to hear that Hayley is doing well too.
Deb, norti Gab with her tantrum. Tehya is pretty good at them too. Little rascal. Hoping the heat doesn't get you guys too much.
Fi, I hope Jenna's cold doesn't last too long for her. LOL at her and Eliza pashing. How sweet. Mark does the whole dvd thing with Noah too. How you feeling hun ??
LOL Mark just called Tehya Bettlejuice. Her hair is wild, crazy, red curls going everywhere, just like Bettlejuices.
Tehya is saving me on the washing today. Will not wear any clothes. All good though, as long as she is inside out of the sun.

Hey ladies
got to 43 here today, but dropped 13 degrees in 15 mins... down to 22 atm. Declan didnt cope very well in the heat (never has, even though he was born on a 42*C day!) Had FIL's xmas party ion a park, had to behave (he's a copper, so a park full of coppas LOL) santa arrived in the back of a cop car, poor guy must've been boiling!! Kids got lots of fisher price stuff, but we left soon after. The temp was dropping as we drove home. Much more bearable now (we dont have fans or aircon here).
Fi - i know how you feel, SIL spent the day asking to come over for a BBQ as she didnt want to heat up her house by cooking... Its 6.30, I've done everything, and they have apparently gone out to King Lake (against our advice, there's fires out there) SOOOO p*ssed. Hate people stuffing me around... A simple phone call wont kill a person...
Anyway, off to fire up the BBQ, may as well have a nice dinner, gonna let the kids run around outside while i cook. is nice and cool (22) so at least i wont fry while cooking dinner

Simone - 43!! Frick! Dunno if it got that hot here... tho I didn't go outside. Yay for work christmas parties that are family-oriented. I always loved them as a kid. Neil's work do is an adults only thing which is a bit disappointing. We can't go anyway.... got my sister's engagement party on the same night.
I got through today much better. I feel ok now so it must not have been as hot here today. I'm still hanging for our air con to be installed tho!
Gab just did a nudey run out the front. She managed to push the front door open and neither of us heard her. Neil saw her at the end of the driveway - starkers. I laughed (but only because I knew she was ok) but Neil's not impressed!

Deb, I lightly grazed my knee's and my right elbow. Suprisingly my hands are sore but not grazed. My face is fine thank God. My foot seemed to take the lot of it.

We have Mark's work xmas party next Sat. night. It usually works out that I can't go for some reason or another, apart from last year, the previous ones i was at concerts. LOL. Last year no concert, Mark just decided he didn't want to go. I was so looking forward to the whole dress up thing and now my stupid foot.
Do you think I can just wrap tinsel around my crutches and get away with that and a pair or thongs. Well, one thong on my foot. LOL

Back again..what a long hot day
Ended up down at Barwon Heads for the day it still was hot..better than our house with the broken down air con pfft to the repair man who will be getting a phone call tomorrow and told how uncomfortable it is in 39 heat.
Quick question Eliza smacked her head well her mouth and put 2 teeth thru the bottom lip imagine the blood but she must of also scraped her v thingo in between her 2 front teeth and pushed the skin up and it was bleeding too. Do you think her teeth will be traumatised and go black ( maybe a trip to a dentist) even thou it will b a totally waste of time as she wont sit still. or just wait and see. She was happy enough to go to bed with a little panadol and haven t heard boo yet...but then again the night is young.

Bill is the same with wont take time off, he whinged about taking time off when i had surgery years ago, turned out it went wrong and i was in there for 14days and was touch and go so he was forced to take that time off lol
Well he wont have a job to take time off soon, why wont men just go find another job before the company folds and he is standing there with no job, they are so loyal to the wrong ppl!
Trish: i hope you manage somehow tommorow, leave him a note to make the kids lunches and stuff before he goes to work, that will impress him lol

Well, just popping in to let you ladies know that I am still alive, but only just this heat is ridiculous.
Bella is really acting weird lately, not sure if it related to her birth or if its just a 21 month old thing. She has seen plenty of helicopters, planes go right over the backyard and usually loves looking at them and pointing. Yesterday, a helicopter (the smaller version of Elvis we think) went over and when James bent down to pick her up as she had been standing next to her, she had disappeared! We started looking for her and found her in the annexe, holding her toy dog crying! Kate said as soon as she heard the helicopter she ran in there crying and hid next to Pat's portacot.
Anyway, Bella has woken up so better try and get her to sleep again!

Bec, Brandon put his teeth right through his bottom lip when he was little. He still has the scars too. As for the little V skin, that bleeds like nothing else. You will find that when she bumps it over the next few days it will probably start to bleed again. As for Eliza's teeth, are they wobbly at all ?? If now all should be good with them. Of course if you are really concerned take her to the Dr's.
Deb, when I was having those migraines a couple of months back he was forced to take days off then. He had a whole 3 days off. t killed him. I know that taking time off work isn't a good thing, but really it souldn't be so hard to get alittle love.
Jess, awww poor Bella. I wonder if maybe Bella is scared of the helicopter because she has seen what they do on TV??? Children are smarter than we give them credit for sometimes.
As you can see my lovely children have me up nice and early. Tehya woke when Mark flushed the loo. It's so great having such a light sleeper. NOT.
Finally I have an excuse for not getting any housework done today :) Have to find the upside of this foot thing, right :)

Belinda - Start getting his CV together.... mind you - he might want a few days off in between, which will no doubt send you spare! Hopefulyl its only a couple of weeks changeover, not a few months.
Bec - Jenna totally has Eliza's cold. Pretty funny really. She is a sneezing snot monster today. I've given her some more Dimetapp to try and stem the flow of it. Bugger about the teeth - was that on the steps?? Hope not.
And you know you can bring missy over here for some air con and a swim anytime.
Deb - I still remember having to cry with Shane hysterically the night before my induction to get him to take the day off. The thing is I guess he wanted to spend more time after the event with us, not during. You wouldn't guess the guys has about 4m long service and about 1m of annual leave owing would you... Not to mention sick leave and RDO's. Oh well, he's taking a month off this time, so all will be OK.
I had a shocking night. Tears at 2am with pains and near spewing. I just overheated in bed, and got really ill. I think I'm almost ready to have this child. Almost ;)

Aww Fi, I hope your day is ok today and you manage to get some rest sweety. Poor little Jenna and her snot nose, atleast it is coming away, better than it staying in there and clogging her up.
Suprisingly my foot is feelng abit better this morning, but I'm betting after being up for a few hours and having to get around for the kiddies that will all change. The big boys are at their dad's so it's not even like I can get them to watch the little turds while I shower and dress.

I rang mum and said - OK thats it, this child can start thinking about coming out. She thought it was quite funny I think. Deep down though I know how much easier they are on the inside than the outside.

Yeah funny Fi, when the Dr told me to rest yesterday and to stay off my foot as much as possible I laughed at her and said I have 4 kids !!
Ok so don't rest, just try to sit on your butt as much as possible. Without slouching though, no posterior bubs you hear ;)
Your right, babies are so much easier to look after on the inside. They do everything for themselves really, ok we're doing it, but ykwim :) Before you know it you will have a new little bubba to feed and change pooey bums for.

Neil had a heap of sick leave and annual leave owing to him at his last job but because he worked another job for 6 months (needed a break from screenprinting), he kissed all of that goodbye. With teaching it gets reinstated when you return to the Dep. of Ed. Obviously not so with screenprinting. Tight bastards!
Trish - hope you go ok today. Too right it's a great excuse to not do housework! Oh dear... Tehya IS a light sleeper! Gab sleeps through Neil's showers tho at least here the bathroom doesn't back on to her bedroom. It backs onto the babies room tho...so I'm thinking about swapping Gab to that room before Little Bee is born. It all depends what flavour we are having cos Gab's current room is a light shade of pink. Yeah...I could paint but I'm just not that motivated! hahaha
Jess - good to hear from you. Sorry Bella got such a fright from the chopper. Like Trish said, maybe she's scared that it'll dump water on her? Sounds like you're totally over everything atm. I don't blame you!
7 weeks and 3 days today. This time when I was preggo with Gab I felt like crud all day every day. I'm getting a few queasy pangs (esp. when I first get up) but a small bite of food usually helps. So different! Food never helped when I was having Gab - esp. when I got to the chucky stage. OOoooo maybe I won't have a chucky stage?? One can only hope!

Quiet day here, 2 youngest are in daycare. for some reason my knee is swelling, and as each hour passes, becomes more painful to walk on. I havent fallen or anything, i've just noticed over the last couple of days... maybe a trip to drs for me grrr... just have to wait for my bunk beds to be delivered - the times?? between 9 and 5... bastards. at least say morning or arvo so i can get stuff done...

We had our first sleep thru in Elizas cot today, the last 4 nights has been me and her sleeping on the floor. I think she is at the end of the pesky cold that Jenna so nicely took off her hands (I still have it). Oh and Fi nah she knocked her mouth being an evil caneval on the coffee table and fell down the back god that sounds worse than it actually was but then went bang tooth thru the lip and then BANG skid your teeth down the wood.
LOL can't you tell its a work day so much I can type without little one pulling at my leg..oh and YES we have worked out how to climb out of the cot it is a fair fall although she slides down most of it. If I put her in a sleeping bad she cant **** her leg so she will be in them. Getting Nanny to make some out of sheet material for summer, is that child abuse

LOL Bec... naah, not child abuse ;) Clever Liza getting out of the cot. Gab still hasn't attempted it. She was hollering from her cot for a good 15 minutes this morning while I was mustering up the energy to get up (she was calling out happily... not crying...she talks to her buzzy-bees). So it would have been a great opportunity to give it a go! Glad Eliza's teeth are ok :)
Simone - ouch @ the knee. Sounds painful.
Spose I'd better go and do some stuff. Chooks need feeding, house needs vacuuming and mopping. Oh the joys!

Bec- ANneliese is back in daycare, they are on their last chance... With Xande rnot wanting to go abck (just screams when i try and leave him there, but on his first day he wouldnt even kiss me goodbye because he was too busy playing... HE keeps saying his tummy is sore. something's dodgy, and im trying to find another centre, but places for 3 children arent easy to come by...)
But if the kids get sick again, ill be p*ssed. They've pretty much all had the last 3 weeks off....

Since we changed centres we havent been sick since...a bit of a change form being hospitalised for 1 week and a half..NGT and IV's. I had a prob with Eliza last week not wanting to go but if they are doing something fun like finger painting..there are no goodbyes just painting lol

When i get the kids there normally about 8am, they have a couple of toys out, and all the kids are lumped in one room. Declans very much a mummy's boy, doesnt like being with anyone but me, but lately i've only been able to leave Anneliese without a fight... its such a struggle, sometimes i wonder if its really worth it, just to get some me time...
