Hey girlie whirlies ;)
Trish, sorry about your fall.. sounds like you need a helper :( Glad it's feeling a bit better tho.
Fi, Euroa is on the Hume Freeway, not too far from us, hey Jess :)
I think you should be ready to have bub too... at almost 40 weeks you would think so anyway... I hope you get some rest now that that it has cooled down.
Jess good to see you are still alive :)
Bec, ouchies @ pool Eliza's teeth!! Poor mite!!
Simone, that doesn't sound good, it's amazing how fast those bugs can spread when you put kids togther tho.
Belinda, I hope Bill can find another job quickly!!
Not much going on here... I'll be offline for a while so I hope you all stay safe over the festive break.
Violet is norty, up most of the night! I don't think she could sleep cause of the heat... urgh!
Oh well, I hope the cooler weather tonight brings her some respite (and me)
Tanya
-
Hope Violet sleeps well tonight, Tanya. You guys take care over Chrissy! We'll miss you around here.
Bec - yep, we're definitely country-folk now with our 2 chooks (Parma and Kiev). One of them pecked Neil yesterday. Too funny!
Simone - hope you get the day care situation sorted out. It was good for me when Gab was in for 1 day a week for a little while. It's not so much of an issue now that she's older and can entertain herself. At the time I think I just needed that day of "me" time. I was meant to be working on that one day but it never happened.
-
It would be ok if i just had one if the kids (like today, with Xander home, he entertains himself, only comes to see me when he wants help with the toilet or a drink/snack etc. But declan and Anneliese... having them off for a day is hard. Declans very clingy, and anneliese is only a baby!!
-
Ah the things we do huh? Its funny - I dont feel like I need me time most days. Well there are always exceptions, but I guess cause we really, really knew what we were doing I just usually lump the situation and deal with it? Also - cause I have had the career thing for the last 10y, I dont mind being stagnant for a little while and just doing the mummy thing.
I just dont think I need the me time yet, but then shane is great, and I do get time to myself, so maybe thats the difference. I have to admit to looking forward to netball season..... I can't wait to run again!
But anyway, despite my mother thinking I need jenna in daycare to give myself a break, I acutally dont. It will be interesting to see what happens wiht no. 2 though. I might be singing a different tune ;)
Such a nice morning. I feel like crap, but I got Jenna to the nice vege shop (where I spent $70 on fruit and veges for the week.... EEK!!) and then we went via the park for a play. Only one other kid there which is always nice. Then home for a healthy morning tea, yay dad not being here, followed by reading and cuddles, and then in bed at 11:30. See Shane - if you dont put the TV on all morning, she goes down without a hiccup!! I love my routine ;)
Booked in for acupuncture next week, so with a bit of luck it will be next Friday or Saturday.... if not earlier. She reckons she has a pretty good success rate :D
Bec - I hope eliza hasn't ruined her chances of being a top mouth model. Lipstick could have been how she supported you in your retirement. Oh well, it might have to be feet now.
Tanya - I knew I knew Euroa. We stopped at the pub for a meal about 1yr ago on the way back from Wondonga last year. It was really nice. I'll send you the SMS when things happen.
Well I think I need a nanna nap today. After last night, a littlekip might do me somegood!
-
hey again
Well seems Bill has a job till early january but wouldnt suprise me if they pay them out at the end of the year and they dont go back, we shall see, going to be very careful with money until then so we at least have some back up cash if needed
All is ok here this morning, Mason just went for nap and Cooper is napping in my arms as per usual lately, Bill holds him all weekend as he couldnt be bothered settling him in bed so Mondays are usually me holding him as thats what he is used too
-
Dont you hate when they get like that Belinda... DH does that as well, but Anneliese goes to daycare mondays and they are in love with her and are quite happy to hold her all day!! Me, i meant i never got anything done on mondays...
-
aaww cute about them being in love with her :) and he is settling a bit today in bed so i might be lucky, we shall see
Oh Cooper rolled over from his tummy to his back a few times now, thought that was clever at 6wks, but could be the norm lol, i dont have friends with babies so i never have a clue, which is good in a way :)
-
Hey everyone... Just calling in to say hi *waves*
I cant believe that Dom will be 2 next month! Where did all the time go?? He still isnt talking.. Just babbles... mum, dad, bub, bot, more and ta... I dont know if it has anything to do with his tongue tie,but if he isnt talking by just after age 2 im thinking about taking him to see someone about it.
Hope everyone elses little bubbies are good!
-
Hi Suzi, wow @ Dom being almost 2, time certainly flies, I`m not sure where this year has gone, it`s gone much quicker then any other year.
Belinda - Yay for Cooper rolling, my little fatty is too fat to roll LOL, he`ll get onto his side and that`s where he stays. LOL at you saying with two young ones your pram got bigger, mine got smaller.
Fi - LOL I have to admit the first few weeks with the two I was pulling my hair out thinking Matthew needs to go to daycare, but I kept rehearshing - It`s got to get better, it`s got to, it does get better. Going out is a breeze, it`s at home when the nightmares often happen. GL with the acupuncture, hope it does the trick ;)
Bec - Oh no @ Eliza working out how to climb out of the cot, I`m waiting for Matthew to do the same, perhaps he`s too scared to considering he`s still in Mummy and Daddy`s room.
Haven`t had much time to pop onto BB last few days, it was Mark`s birthday on Thursday and the morning before he told me he`s thinking he`s getting depressed, we haven`t had much time for each other and we have been fairly distant but since then we have both tried harder and the love is there but with two young ones our relationship has been pushed aside. I knew something was up, thought he was falling out of love with a nuisance wife but that doesn`t seem the case just a number of things rolled into one. Also he`s missing his Dad terribly plus the state of the farm with ongoing drought and no irrigation isn`t good as we don`t have any cash flow and it could mean after 5 generations of dairying Mark might have to be the one to close it down then look for work elsewhere but he has no qualifications, he left school at 13years, 9 months to work full time on the farm with his Dad.
Going to Sydney on Wednesday, just for the day to do a few things but it makes such a long day as we`re 2.5 hours away.
Matthew is good but he`s getting a cold, his 2nd cold so I guess I can`t complain. He`s out with my Dad atm and Adrian`s having a nap, I should really be folding the washing while I can but I`m here on BB instead, have a mile of washing on the line but it`s so hot out there I don`t feel like getting it in just yet.
Hope your all well.
Take Care
Dee
-
Dee: Sorry to hear things havent been good, so glad that he talked about it though and it wasnt just left till it couldnt be helped, sorry to hear about the farm not going well and i hope something works out for the best for you guys
I do understand what you mean about the two young ones and no time at all for each other, its such a difference compared to just the one younger one i find, i really need to find time for us as well somewhere in there, but i am thinking its only been 6wks so its early days
-
Dee hugs to you, my family comes from a farming community in WA< and a lot of the farmers out there are very depressed... I hope this drought breaks soon.
I know the feeling re no time for relationships. My marriage is at breaking point, its either gonna bust or we will work through it. Having 3 under 3 doesnt help...
-
Oh Dee - Sorry to hear that things are rough. I admit I'm a little cranky with Mr Man today too....... Sometimes it seems like its just going through the paces, day after day. He has a terrible sense of humour - thinks things are funny when really they aren't at all, and doesn't know when to give somethign up.
Anyway, I'll just shut up, cook dinner and be the fat uncomfy one in the corner. I think I might ignore the world tonight and go to bed early......
-
Awww Dee... I can only imagine how tough the drought situation is on the farmers. It's good that Mark has opened up to you... that's a HUGE step for him to take to let you know that he's maybe not 100% coping. Definitely keep the lines of communication open (as tough as it must be with 2 little ones). Would he go and speak to someone? He must feel the weight of the world on his shoulders. I'll be thinking of you guys.
Fi - hugs matey. Sounds like ignoring the world is a good idea.
I'm a bit dispondent after seeing my Dr. today. Looks like I'm gonna have a battle on my hands if I want to try for a VBAC. Not that anything is set in stone yet cos everything around here moves at a snail's pace. I don't even have to book in to the hospital until 20 weeks!! Sheesh!
-
Library time wasn't great this mroning. They made christmas trees, and the "Teacher" person brought fruit loops to be the decorations on the trees. Guess who's child wanted to eat the decorations.....
Oh well, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger! Its the last one for 6w now,a nd then we are off to the central library as ours is being ripped down in about 3w. :( Not sure how long it will take to rebuild.
I have got application forms for jenna for playgroup next year. We are trying at the montessori and steiner schools. They are on the other side of geelong, but I figure if I get into a playgroup that works for us, its worth the 15min drive. Tell me that when I have a screaming newborn in the back too.....
The monte school is my first pick, but they are already full term 1 and 2, the steiner school does 6m to 3y, so at least I will be able to get no 2 in there once they are old enough. Rather than having to go on a waiting list again.
-
And I've finally put a horrendous photo of my fat tummy on bubbys website. God knows why. I didn't realise I was looking so fat........
-
Great pic Fi :)
And i would want to eat the decorations too if they were pretty fruit loops, silly teacher
-
You don't look fat, Fi.... just really preggo :) I think it's a great photo. A fun photo.
-
Fi, I like the picture. I think it looks great. Not fat at all, pregnant yes, but even then not huge :) LOL at Jenna eating the fruit loops, yummy, I don't blame her, I love them. Next time you get to go to library time you'll have a new little bubba for all of the kids to annoy too... Goodluck in getting Jenna into the kinder you've chosen. I don't even want to ask how much it is worth.
Deb, FIngers crossed you can either sway this Dr y showing him how very determined you are to have a VBAC or you can find one who will completely back you up and support you. Don't let him put doubts into your head, you are capable of doing this.
Belinda, yay for Cooper rolling, what a clever little man he is. I'm sure though that 6 weeks is very early.
Dee, I am so sorry that things are so hard for you guys out there. It must be heartbreaking for both you and DH. Praying for a load of rain to come your way real soon. I know that won't solve the problems but I'm sure it will go a big way in helping. It really is great though that DH can talk to you and let out his feelings and emotions. Huge hugs all round. Hope you have a nice time in Sydney tomorrow. It's pretty cool here atm so wear warm clothes. It's actually been raining alittle too. Maybe you can sneak some back with you ;)
Suzi, yay for Dom being nearly 2. Time surely does fly hey. Not sure on his tongue tie delaying his speach. Is it a bad one. My eldest son has a tie but never really had any problems with his speech development. All kids learn at a different pace though so try not to stress.
Tanya, hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and New Year and are back bright and early with that big Blue BFP !!!
Had my xray done yesterday and thankfully no fractures, just badly bruised and very swollen still. Went to the Dr's today to have the dressing changed and it's healing great, no signs of infection or anything so that's great.
Brandon has his year 6 formal tonight, no parents invited :( It's at the local RSL. Still I made sure I gave him a camera to take lots of pics nad took some of him before he left. He really is growing up.
Joel has a school disco tonight so is dressed nice and gone out too. Noah is in bed asleep, without dinner. He crashed out in the car and Tehya is still roaming the house. Mark has to go to touch footy tonight so hopefully I will get some peace in about an hour or so.
Might actually get some pressies wrapped. My room is surrounded in presents in plastic bags. LOL. Just waiting for some keen (or not so keen) person to wrap them. Let me tell you, wrapping for 4 kids plus all the family is way too much.
-
Haha Trish - my parents used to to for 4 kids, and all the santa stockings! Luckily my mum loves christmas :D
Sounds like you have the night sussed out. Hopefully a quiet one for you. Are you getting around better?
The kinder isn't any more expensive from what I understantd. The playgroup, which is juts normal playgroup like anywhere else is about $70-$100 a term for one session, so thats fine, and then the most expensive it gets is 4yo kinder, 18hrs a week for about $500/term. From what i understand, this is pretty standard. Scary huh? Specially for little old me that went public schooling the whole way through life. I think the fees at my high school were about $60 a year?? You can't get a kid anywhere now for that amount.
-
Fi I ditched the crutches, too bloody hard. Just walking around on my heal now. Not much fun though. Can't keep up with the little ones and I'm sure they know I can't too :)
So I guess the fee's aren't THAT bad. I'd hate to see what primary school fees are like though. Joel's high school fee's aren't too bad, just the elective subjects that get you. I think the school contribution fund is $70 then you have subject fees on top of it.
Night would be sorted if Teh would go to sleep. Can't she tell I only have about an hour at most of quiet before Brandon is back. I had to get his Dad to pick him up as Mark is at touch. Miserable sack of crap he is. Of course he had a whinge, he lives 5 seconds around the corner from where it is too. Didn't like the fact that he had to go inside the club to pick him up. Gezz, I managed 3 flights of stairs to take him there.
Joel has been sneaking out again of a nighttime. I thought he must have lastnight. He was so tired and grumpy this morning and even worse this afternoon. He says he doesn't see what the difference is if it's day or night time that he's out ???How teh hell am I supposed to know if anything happens to him. He doesn't even have a mobile anymore so it's not like when I bust him I can call him up. And of course I don't know exactly where he is going. I do nkow though that he has himself a girlfriend. She's 13 !! Not happy about that. I had a talk with him and told him that she was jail bait and not to do anything with her. How does it work though if they are both underage ??
-
I think if they are both underage its not illegal - as in statutory rape. Not sure what it is then.....
That little boy of yours is a rascal!!
-
Fi, I think of it this way. Any child that comes after Joel has got to be a breeze. God wouldn't give me 2 or 3 of them, surely ;)
He says they haven't done anything. And so far I believe him. I have also had the talk about making sure he uses protection, this was prior to me finding out she was 13.
Do you think it's a bad thing to make sure he has condoms - like I am condoning it ?? Which I'm not. Or is it a good thing in that I am trying to make sure he is "careful" when he does do it. Because let's face it, he's a teenage boy with load's of hormones raging, even if it's not with this girl it's only a matter of time before it's with another.
-
I think you are doing the right thing by making sure he has protection, better than dealing with a teenage girl standing at your door pregnant or him getting something from someone, i say to my nephew dont do a thing unless its wrapped up! he just looks at me strange lol but gets the message
Sorry to hear he is sneaking out, such a worry for you, my nephew who lives with us didnt call me the other week and didnt come home till 9am, i was so worried as he always rings me to tell me where he is! he did say sorry when he seen how worried i was though, got his year 11 report card today, he did pretty well with a's and b's mainly and a D in maths.
-
Belinda, sounds like your nephew is a pretty good kid. I know that look too. I get it from Joel as well. I also tell his mates to make sure they keep it covered. I'd hate to see any of them screw their lives up.
Joel hasn't got his report card yet. Then again, I still havent seen his half yearly one.
-
Just popping in very quickly before heading down to Sydney
Trish - thanks for the advice re the weather down there, it cooled down here yesterday too but no rain as usual  Anyway re Joel, Fi is right if they are both underage it`s not illegal, the problem will come when Joel hits 16 and she`s underage then it`s illegal. I think if I was in your shoes I`d give Joel some condoms jic at least if he does happen to go that far he`s protected, it`s a tough one, do what you feel is right.
Oh report cards, Michael got his and he failed badly in maths and in typical teenage style he doesn`t care, he didn`t even try in his exams, he thinks he can leave school and work with Dad on the farm, that`s not what Mark wants as there is very little future in farming as you all know, but teenagers don`t listen!!!!!!
Fi - Sending you truck loads of labour vibes.
I better get my rascals up, one with a lovely snotty nose, just brillant when he sneezes and eats it ewww toddlers.
Thankyou girls for the hugs and thoughts.
-
Dee, Yummo on the snot nose. Tehya usually asks me for a tissue or goes and gets one herself, but there have been times....
It's looking overcast here again this morning but lately the weather turns so quick, like Melbourne weather I swear.
I think Joel will be failing quite a few subjects this year. I can only hope that next year he will pull his socks up. This year has been pretty much a right off.
-
Jenna has a fetish for tissues. We are snotty here too, and she loooooves wiping her nose, looking at the "boobaas" and putting the tissue in the "ubbish". Problem is she doesn't know that she really only needs 1 tissue. Thus the tissue box is up very high at the moment.
Trish - I dont know what to suggest about teen sex. I personally would maybe contact the other parent, or at least try and meet the girlfriend on a fairly regualr basis to keep an eye on them.
I think you have to tell him that condoms are a must, but that you will cut his knob off if you find him using it!!
Still here - fat and starting to accept all labour vibes, BRING THEM ON!!
Tanya SMS'd me this morning. Af due today and she had a temp rise. Lets keep everything crossed for her :D She's going out to buy the HPT later today, and will try and get onfrom the library.
-
Fi aren't they delightful. Tehya loves to empty the tissue box out too. LOL at the boobaas.
LOL at cutting Joel's knob off. Don't think any threats will make him stop using his willy though.
Sending you a truck load of labour vibes hun. Come on out bubba. You will get presents if you come out now :)
Tanya, fingers crossed for you hun. Hoping you are back here with a big anouncement before Christmas :D
-
Well Shane started having sex with girls at about 13, it shocked the hell out of me.... and he did end up with a child at 21, but he's also turned out OK (ish) so maybe its not the end of the world???
He would have been such a rogue though. Sounds like he was just out for himself! Shagging all the girls that would.....
-
LOL, Sounds like a typical you guy to me. Must have been just so enjoyable for those girls too hey. Nothing like greedy one sided sex ;)
Mark was very young too. I think around 12 or 13 too. I remember him telling me and me being totally disgusted. Still if that's what made him like he is today then .... ;)
-
OOo finger crossed Tanya!!!!
Trish - I agree... if Joel is gonna do it anyway, you may aswell make sure he's being safe. Who knows what kind of funky diseases are out there with kids getting up to stuff SO much earlier. 13? Gawd... I was still playing with barbies!! LOL Can you maybe speak to her parents? Let them know that she's sneaking out and getting up to no good?
LOL @ having to wrap presents for 4 kids. I aksed my Mum about it and she got a twinkle in her eye. She loved "sneaking" around making the loungeroom look magical. She and Dad would wrap everything on Christmas Eve. She fondly recalls the year Dad had to put a trampoline together in the dark. Sounds like it was quite hilarious! *sigh* I miss those days. The few years we were all together as a family were the happiest of my life I reckon! Certainly had to grow up when Mum and Dad split and spoiled everything!! (including Christmas! ;) ).
Fi - still sending a *****e load of LV's. Come on bubba!
Dee - how frustrating with Michael. I always say that kids finish high school at such a wrong age. From years 10-12 it's all about attitude, friends and social stuff so most of them don't give a fat rat's clacker about study. Makes it hard when they keep getting told their "future" depends on what marks they get at High School.
I'm just sitting here trying not to hurl. I don't think the snot and sore throat factor is doing much for m/s. Still.... not as bad as when I had Gab so I'm not complaining too loudly. It's early days yet!
-
Hi Girls,
Dunno whats going on here but Fi..I'm guessing you are getting a tad hormonal and I am going out in sympathy. Work day today and sheshh so many christmas shoppers it is depressing..thank goodness it is payday tomorrow and I will get presents for people other than the spoilt one lol.
Deb: OMGoodness it is hard when you need to hurl and you know it is going to hurt. Hmm well hopefully another month and you will see the glowing aspect of pregnancy.
Trish: Yeah it is a hard one when you want to whats best but not seen as a supporting party. I would probably give him some or put some where he knows they are..lol I would do a stocktake tho and find out if he is very active.
Tanya: Whoohoo love sounds promising
Dee:Good to hear from you, have a good trip to Sydney hmm teenages they are sounding like hard work. Hope the snot monster leaves your house as quickly as it left ours
Had another good night last night...sleep thru now if I could get her to fall asleep in her cot rather than the floor I would be a happy mummy. She is adorable tho she grabs her pillow and blanket and quilt and ted and lays down waiting for her bottle of course after she drinks it she needs to play more lol unless Nick the sleep policeman is there she doesnt move.
We got our daycare photos today..I never knew they were taken a few she looks like homeless tot but atleast none have her biting someone
Better go suppose to be working ;)
Bec
-
Haha Bec - Did she borrow some clothes of Jenna to look homeless? We have that look mastered ;)
Of course it doens't help when you go to Grumps' place, and she;s actually in her good clothes, and he has her straight out in the garden burying "hot tatoes". With a shovel. With no shoes on. Hmmmmm I wasn't all that impressed. Shame I can't do much to control her grandfather - she loves him so I just get to let it all go on!
Hope your day just whizzes by. I haven't got a car today so I'm housebound.
yeah - I'm sure the sex was quality Trish ;) I can remember fumblings with boys at that age, and they didn't exactly have the magic touch shall we say.
Deb - hope you start feeling better. NOthing like a good hurl to clean the system out!
Keep those LV's coming girls, I've started to get some period cramps today. Went for a walk to see if they would go anywhere, but it ended up just being a painfully slow adventure. But Yay - things might be beginning to get somewhere :)
-
If you can pop in a baby tonight that would be good..as I have Thurs and Friday off
Bec
-
PMSL Bec... yeah, Fi! Gotta fit into the schedule ;)
-
Her schedule or mine??? Or my mothers schedule - she gets here on the 27th. Or Shane's schedule. He wants it after the 20th, and before the 24th.
So many people, so many schedules.... I dont know how parents first time around cope with this pressure so close to christmas!!
-
LOL... could be by my schedule, Fi! I'm gonna be in Geelong this weekend ;)
I saw a notice up outside the post office this morning (we have to collect our mail from there.... it doesn't get delivered to our homes). Anyway, it was a SAHM wanting private childcare in her home. I'm thinking about checking her out for next year. What I need is someone available to look after Gab on a casual basis so that I can be available for work more often. ATM I'm only available when Neil isn't working so that restricts the amount of days. If I could say I'm available any time with her as backup (in case Neil isn't home) then I could earn a bit of $$ before Little Bee gets here. Of course, I'd have to check the woman out. I've got a friend who has lived in the area since she was a kid so I'll see if she knows the lady at all. I'll ask around at playgroup too. Proper childcare and FDC isn't suitable for us because the days I'll need will vary from week to week. So, yeah... will see how I go over summer. It'll be good to make a bit of cash so we don't struggle as much as last time.
-
Fi, had to LOL at you having to fit around everyone elses schedule. My bet is say a day that doesn't suit you and that's when bub will come. That's what ahppened to me with Joel. Then again, that child never does what I want.
Don't you love the way men think about the clothes the kids are wearing before letrting them get grotty. I was at mum's this afternoon and Noah and Tehya were helping dad do some paving, anyway he got out the house to trickle some water and wash away the excess cement.Anyway, that of course resulted int he kids getting drenched. They thought it was fantastic, but I ended up bringing home Tehya in a nappy and singlet and Noah was naked, both are still the same way. Hey saves on washing.
Deb, sounds like a plan. Hopefully the lady is nice and her and Gab get on. Would be great to grab some extra $$ before bub is born.
Bec, poor Eliza looking homeless. I'm sure she really didn't though. Don't you love it when these gorgeous little girls end up looking like something the dog dragged in. Tehya quite often ends up looking like dog's meat. Mark calls her beetlejuice with her wild hair. Goodluck getting the rest of your Christmas shopping done.
I am so stuck on what to get mum and dad for Christmas. Not sure whether to go the joined present or seperate ones. Even then I still don't know what to get. I have heaps of gifts to buy still. Mum and Dad, my eldest brother, the other half of little bro and gf's present, Mark, friends kids something small, grandfather adn still some onther stuff for the big boys. Anyone got a cool $1000 floating around. That should get me through
-
Good morning all.
Gab decided to wake at the crack-o-dawn because it's so fricken bright in her room. Must invest in some block-out blinds for all the bedrooms me thinks.
Trish - Gabby is guaranteed to get filthy when she's outside with Daddy. The other day I'd managed to keep her pretty clean most of the day. She went out to feed the chooks and water the garden with Neil and came back with dirt alll over her and her pants were ringing wet! Eh... happy kids are grubby kids, right? ;)
Could you get your Mum some gold class movie tickets? A magazine subscription (a friend of mine was given one to super food ideas and she reckons it was one of the best presents she ever received!), some perfume? I've got my Mum a slender blender (hers died and she uses it to make her famous pumpkin soup) and I'm getting her a big bottle of southern comfort. She's not a huge drinker but can never afford the odd drink here and there so I thought a bottle might go a long way.... plus I know she loves it.
Santa is going to be at playgroup this morning. We have to take a book wrapped up but I found out it's not a Kris Kringle... the kids just get the book that we give to Santa to give them. Hmm... kind of boring imo. I worry that some people might not know about it and some kids might end up without a gift. Hmm... maybe I should take some extra ones JIC? I'd hate for any kids to be upset that they didn't get a present from Santa. They really should have been more organised and told everyone about it weeks ago. It's only by accident that I know.
Hopefully Gab will be ok with Santa. The guy that's doing it is the primary school's ex principal - he apparently does an awesome job. I guess someone that's been around kids so much would do a great job. Better than some of the santas that ***** bricks when you put the kid on their lap. Kids can smell fear!! LOL
-
Hope playgroup goes well this morning deb. I dont know if its your responsibility to provide for kids that dont know about it..... Seems a little above and beyond for me, but also lovely.
Jenna now has a total thing for Santa. She goes ape everytime she sees one screaming "knee, knee". Hopefully Gabby will be the same, or maybe not ;) Depends how you want to swing it.
I have the same problem with my parents Trish. My mum is super easy to buy for, my fatehr impossible unless you have $500. I have emailed him asking for a list of things under $50. If he doesn't front up with a list, his problem, he'll get a book voucher or something equally as exciting.
We had a trip to K mart this morning. Picked Jenna up some super cheap short sleeved t's cause she needed a few. I like putting one under dresses, and all of hers are either too puffy so they dont sit nicely, or they are covered in food stains from her darling father feeding her without a bib!
I'm getting sick of all the wiggles/hi 5 stuff being at the front of the kids clothing. Today we couldn't get out of the shop without a dorothy t and doll, so I hid them as soon as we got in the car thinking I could put them in her stocking, but no. The pesky child remembered them, and wailed until I went and got them out of the car. Mind you - it was super wasy to get her to sleep just now with the new toy. Yay
Lots of tummy grumbles. I think we are getting somewhere slowly.
