Trish - definitely go to the concert with someone that wants to do what you wanna do! I think it's fair enough that you want to live it up a bit. I'm secretly hoping Mark got you tickets in Melbourne tho
Fi - just start the thread... doesn't need to be a sticky? I just think they're reluctant to start stickies for a lot of things because of the up-keep. I wouldn't take it personally. It's defintely something that you should be able to discuss with others on here. Maybe the thread will become that popular that they will make it a sticky?
Dee - condoms? What are they?? LOL I haven't bought any in yeeears. Neil's getting the snip after this baby so I guess I'll never have to buy themGab loves the mouse too. Drives me batty cos she's closed a few things on me before... rather annoying! From what I've heard about giftedness whilst doing my teaching stuff, I think kids need to be about 5 before they can be classed as gifted... but I reckon it'd be obvious to parents way before then. By a few things you've said about Matthew, I wouldn't be surprised if he is highly intelligent. There are multiple levels of intelligence but I guess gifted kids are intelligent on several levels (making them particularly special).
