Tasia - Hi. We must have posted at the same time. Lol. Awh. It's great when they wake up in a good mood. Hayden usually wakes up and just stares around sometimes just smiling to himself.
Wow. Your little man is 7weeks already. How fast has it gone. Omg.
Tenny- lol I know it it just flyyyyyyyyyyyyyys, why can't they stay little hehehehe. AWWW Hayden's cute Ok sweety I will leave it there as I do need to feed the hungry monster lol, I'll chat to u later & to everyone else xoxoxoxoxox
Well another day and another day of routine well at least for me. I can't believe how quickly your days just go having a baby, and your work is never ending. I give all the mummy's with toddlers all the praise cause I freak out some days with just the one. Isabel is sleeping at the moment and I have managed to do the washing (clothes) and vacuum the house need to mop but I just don't have the energy and it can wait.
Tannis - I don't know if the Zantac is working for Izzy cause she is still arching her back and kicking her legs straight when I feed her but I will see it's only been a week.
Tenny - How are you doing today sweet, it's nice to have a shower without the interruptions hey, I tend to do it when my DH is home and he looks after the little one and just enjoy it that much more.
Pink - Love your photos sweet Ava is just gorgeous. I give Izzy 120mls but sometimes increase it to 150mls as she is still hungry after she finishes.
Kell - so glad that your little man is feeling better hopefully he keeps on improving.
Mel - I too am like you at times and I only have the one. I just sometimes can't handle being a mum especially when she is crying for no reason at all. I have sometimes put myself to sleep crying just cause it's all too much and I haven't had much sleep. You're doing well and are a wonderful mum don't ever doubt yourself
Well I think I'll go and have some lunch while I can. BBL tonight.
I second what Ayapi said - all you mums with toddlers and older kids are doing a fantastic job....
Mel honey, what kel said.... seriously, just the other day the Bear and I were saying "I wish Mel would get her computer fixed, BB is just not the same without her!" Hope A is just going through an adjustment phase that will be over quickly and he starts behaving better In the meantime remember you're doing a great job and it is bloody difficult.
and Kel, same goes for you.
Well, we have had a funny morning, FIL came to the markets with us, and then MIL met up with us for brunch. We all came back to our place (poor little DD was screaming for her lunch as she hadn't been fed since 8.30) then my Dad turned up. My mother is coming over later so we will have all the real grandparents in one day. But why is it that we are the ones with a 3 week old infant and they are the ones who can't seem to organise themselves?
Anyway, everyone.... still got that cold so still trying to take it easy.
We had the health centre visit on Thurs and Maddi's put on 640g in 13 days so she's now 3.9 kg, havent had much of a chance to get online lately been sleeping whenever I can to recover from a cold/flu type thing Ive had recently and its looks like the worst is gone so hopefully Ill be on here a bit more now.
Had a great night last night Maddi slept 930 - 230, 3-730 then 8-1045 and she only went to sleep at 3pm this afternoon, so Im expecting her to wake at 6 or 7ish, then hopefully she'll stay awake for a while then sleep alright again. But we have to leav her at 630 tomorrow morning to drop the car off to be fixed, the suspension's siezed so Ill have no car all week & DF has had to borrow a car from MIL which I cant drive because I havent driven a manual since I got my licence 6 years ago and I cant fit the pram in it.
This is probly TMI but has anyone else got bad constipation since the birth?
Tannis - Maddi is BF and she poo's between 1 - 4 times a day
Ayapi - I so get you on the lack of energy, once DD's gone to sleep & you get a chance to do something & you just want to crash on the couch
Tenny - yay on the relaxing shower, the only time I get to have a shower without screaming in the background is Sundays coz DF is home & normally she'll end up with me in the shower anyway
Mel - I agree the hardest thing is to admit you cant handle it,my breaking point was Friday night DD had been screaming for 3 hours, tried feeding, burping, bathing, singing, walking, changing nappy, laying down, holding upright, dummy & nothing worked. I ended up ringing DF in tears at 845 (he works until 9pm on fridays) asking when he was coming home. I hadnt eaten since lunch, when he got home I fed her and went straight to bed, then I was fine in the morning. So I think it was lack of sleep & not feeling well on my part
Hello everyone else Ive missed. Hope you all had a great weekend
Hope we are having a great weekend that's soon to be over hehehehe.
Skittlebub- I too been having bad constipation don't know why. But have been drinking heaps of water & fruit.
Tannis- Jonathan poos every 2-3rd day. I asked the nurse why he only does it every 2-3rd day & she said it's normal. I don't like my maternal nurse I want to change, can I change? I feel uncomtorble around her I don't know why, I'm getting a bad vibe from her.
Hi to Mary, Mel, Tenny, Pixie, Belle, Kell, Jess, Feeb & to everyone else who I miss
Well am back from Mums house. I had a great time. Callum was so excited to see mum and dad. Was very cute. Liam was a good boy and they couldnt believe how good his is. We are getting lots of smiles and goooooing now. Its so wonderful as the more I talk to him and he smiles I think that maybe he CAN hear me.
No AF here as yet thank god. Not looking forward to that!!!
So when are us Sydney ladies going to have another meet up.
Zee wont be at work as some one tried to break in and stuffed up the shutter doors so shop is closed until the boss decides what he is going to do with the door. He only paid $3000 about 4 months ago to get it fixed.
Well came home and DD and DH has painted Callums room. It look so fresh and great. He is in bed (thats right in his own bed ) and Im hopeing with a new paint job he will think oh wow look at my room and stay in bed. That is it no more in my bed.
Feeb- Hey sweety how u going? How's ur bubba going? How can I tell my maternal nurse I want to change to someone else?
Missy- That's great news that Liam is goooooing. I'm glad that Callum was happy to see parents. Yay for painting thr room, & yeah hope he does stay in there good luck sweety
Morning all!
Well looks like 6am is the get up time in my house atm *joy*. Not for Keira though, shes still all warm and cosy in her bed grr so not fair! lol. Ah well hopefully Jesse will start sleeping a little longer soon
Jesse is doing so much better than this time last week! He has picked up alot. My girlfriend told me about a certain milk her doctor recommended for her son when he had gastro, that he would keep down. So i got some yesterday for Jesse and started him on it yesterday. So far so good. He kept it down last night so gave him a little more today. So slowly will have to build him back up again.
Tannis.. yeh thats what she said when i said i thought i might be touching on getting it. She said up until then its still part of the baby blues and that with PND youre down all the time.. every day. But i think youre right.. we are all going through a similar thing with our babies and toddlers.. it must just be the adjustment to another baby aswell. But its nice to know someone else is going through it too iykwim Glad you had a nice day out!
Missy.. thats a great idea. Hopefully he does take to it and stay in there! Jesse's started sleeping in his big bed as of 4 days ago just during the day. Seems to be working well. Was after he was sick for the 2nd time in his cot he didnt want to go in there so i put him in the big bed and it worked. Not game to of a night as yet though.. we both need to catch up on our sleep before that happens!
Pixie.. isnt it always the way! Some people are just unorganised and will never change
Mez.. thanks hun. Oh they do fly dont they. I cant believe Keira is a month old. I had a look at her last night when we bathed her and couldnt believe how big she had gotten! Nuts!
Mel.. how you feeling today hun?
Well slowly getting back into our normal routine this week. Have a heap of washing to do and house work. Oh! I went to buy a dustbuster yesterday.. how much would you expect to pay for one? Well BigW's cheapest was $70! Then Target's was $99! For a dustbuster????? I wouldve thought more like $40? Gonna keep shopping around.. but i so need one in this house!!!!
Kell: I hope Jesse sleeps in a bit for you soon! Ashlea is usually up around 6 or 6.30am I try to keep her sleeping cause I'm not ready but I know I shouldn't really...its just I have been going to bed at like 3am the last couple of nights, 6am just isn't a good time to get up haha. I think its only that a few of us are going through the same sort of feelings that I have admitted to them as well...least we have each other for support if we are down
Try Ebay for dustbuster, we got one a few months ago....it is a vital household item with a toddler! We paid about $40 brand new.
Awww had the worst night last night. Liam woke up at 12.30am for a feed then at 1 Callum woke up, I put him back then 1.15 again Callum came back into my room, I put him back, 2 or after 2 he was in our bed...grrrr then 4.30 Liam had the worst pains so had him in bed with us too. He was trying to do poo and ended up doing it at 6.30. So it wasnt the best night. Going to have a sleep today.
Anastasia how you doing hun??
Tannis I was going to buy a gate but didnt as he slept in his bed so I didnt bother but then he didnt. Im go ing to see how I go, Ive taken his train tracks of him so see how that goes. Sounds like you had a great day at the Multicultural Festival.
Kell dont you just love the 6am starts...awwww hate them. I was up at 6.30 but really 4.30 as poor liam was playing up abit. Not to mention bloody callum...lol. Ill see how the taking his toys off him work. Oh I would have thought $40 too for dustbuster. Waht a rip off.
