Somewoman- Are they the ones with pooh bear & Tigger on them? If so, no probs here.

Just one big pic of pooh on the front. there's a couple of different Pooh pics, but so far they've all been pooh on his own - different poses.

the pooh and tigger are the older ones - they are the good ones.

Mel: I'll talk to Chris, see what he wants to do....I might even leave him to watch the grand final and just come myself with the kids, we have a few weeks to work it out. An hour to have a bottle!! Ash finishes hers (when she had them) within 15mins max! Happy 1mth Mehkelti!

Feeb: Thats great the LC comes to you! Fantastic that all went well!

Kell: Glad I'm not the only one re: dummy to get more sleep haha. Great to here Jesse is better. Jayden had a rash on his back and front last night but faded a fair bit today, he has hardly eaten anything since yesterday and he has been really whingy and cranky....hopefully just a phase and not getting sick again. If we could have got a refund on him last night we would have! He dropped my phone on Ash while I was feeding her and she detached and cried so loud...poor bubba!! Sorry to hear Keira & Jesse played up for you today! Jayden was whingy badly while we were out today but then I got Ashlea out of the pram, put Jayden in and he went to sleep for 2hrs while we shopped.

Mez: Its hard when they cry and you have done everything for them...hang in there just keep thinking about how cute she is! Awww Izzy laughed for you already!! How adorable!

Missy: Bugger about your job but as you said least you can spend more time with Liam & Callum

Tenny: No DTD here, usually its me wanting to but nup not interested in the slightest, beside I too am still bleeding but only just. After Jayden it took 5mths before we DTD but that was DP's fault, I don't know why I think he had weight issues with me.

Zee: I haven't got Ashlea's BC yet either, not sure if they have charged me for it though I haven't checked.

Rach: Great pics, the nappy fits perfectly! Beth is adorable!

Tasia: Jonathan is a good boy for only crying for a minute, Jayden was like that too for all his needles. I didn't feel sorry for him at all for his 1st shots, fingured he put me through more pain having him so he can deal with a little jab haha I'm a mean mummy!

SW: Great to hear Alyssa is going so well with BF'ing! Jayden got the worst case of milk rash I have ever seen (I have a pic on FB if you want to see it) your right, they don't have it for long and they are still beautiful! Oh poor you with the poo everywhere! We have had that happen too (with J not A yet). I have had problems with Jayden's nappies but Ashlea's are ok. A lot of ppl have complained about them. I bought Jayden Aldi nappi's which are great during the day but I think he must wee too much at night and they don't hold but others say they are great day and night. Congrats to your friend, thats great she is going so well!

Another big post...how do you girls (and bear) have short posts?? I must talk too much LOL

Ashlea is still feeding good, but still a little paranoid about how much weight she is gaining. We ended up shopping all day today as Jayden fell asleep in the pram so it was easier to stay until he woke up. I'll have to go shopping again tomorrow as I have to organise my dad's father's day pressie and send it or it won't get there in time. What is everyone getting their DH's/DP's for fathers day....esp the 1st time daddy's (Rach you don't have to answer in case Geoff see's haha) I am getting Chris a stereo for his car, just a cheapo from Aldi. He was going to buy it so I said I'd get it for fathers day, but they had sold out here so he thinks I couldn't get it but I am getting my mum to send one up from Melb.

NOthing else exciting here....Uploaded a heap of pics on FB last night, might do a few more tonight....Jayden had a great time with paint this arve, had to take pics of it!

Morning!!

Well what a great night (for once!!) in our house!! Keira slept through again from 10pm until 7.30am this morning!! OMG! Then i fed her and shes back out asleep in bed! She never goes back down, let alone in her bed during the day!! Mel and other mummies with the colic problems.. i bought some Infacol yesterday and started her last night. Well i think thats what is helping her! We'll see if it continues. But i think the wind was alot of her problems. Jesse only woke once moaning so thats a plus too!

Tasia.. oh its horrible giving them their needles isnt it. I was the same with Jesse's first ones.

Mel.. oh i wish we lived closer! We'd be great shopping together! least we'd be able to have a laugh together too.

Yeh i have no problems with huggies either. But i guess not every baby is shaped the same hey. Theyre the only nappies we can put on Jesse over night that he wont leak through. Have been using them with his diorhea poos too. Speaking of which.. we had a solid poo this morning (hope youre not all eating breaky ).. so thats great for him! No problems so far with Keira either. Shes only leaked once.. but that was cos MIL put the nappy on backwards

SW.. congrats to your friend! Hope they all come through well.

Tannis.. oh i hope Jayden gets better soon. Jesse had a rash the past few days too but i discovered its the new washing powder i was using. Hope it was just a 24 hour thing he had and hes better today(Jayden) Thanks hun.

DH already has his fathers day pressies. Just 2 XBOX games.

Well we're off to Kristy's today for a play date. So better start getting ready.

SW that is such great news about your friend. hope her little one is fighting fit so she can go home soon.
The huggies we are using are still OK but I have an unopened pack in the cupboard and I'm a bit worried they might be the dodgy ones... O well, will find out soon enough I guess!

Well, we had a great night here, we went to bed early - 10.30, and Beth woke up for a feed at 12.30 then slept right through till 5.15 and then went back to bed! it was great. only problem was the Bear had a meeting in town at 9 and probably expected Beth to wake us up at 7 so it was a bit of a rush when we didn't wake up until 8 - and she is still snoozing now! And unfortunately the Bear has got my filthy cold
but other than that all is going well.

ETA - o yeah, forgot to say I think I will be ok with immunisations, poor little DD got treated like such a pincushion when she was in hospital that we are kind of used to it. The only thing that really p*ssed me off is when they would hurt her for no reason - eg. she needed a blood test for jaundice and the resident who took the blood was so inept that the sample clotted and she had to do the whole thing again, my poor little baby was being bled dry for no reason except the resident didn't know what she was doing. Now that really made me mad.

I'm off to my sister's house & baby Jonathan off course, we are going shopping. I need to buy pair of jeans & some toys for Jonathan as he doesn't have any yet.

if you compare the two nappies, the new ones have a smaller area to catch the baby's waste and the padding at the top of the back has been removed, so anything wet just drains straight out if they are lying on their backs. The old ones had a cushiony bit going across the back near the waist to stop leaks, now there's nothing. Lots of people have complained that the filling leaks, too.

My biggest problem was getting both of us covered in poo while breastfeeding her while waiting for an appointment in the city when it all leaked out the back. Since then, I'd have to say more than 50% have leaked to some extent, and I'm always having to change her clothes - so she's getting annoyed and so am I.

Def planning to try the Aldi ones... Problem is we just spent over $100 stocking up on huggies, and now have three big boxes of crap nappies!!!!

If you still have packets of the old ones, enjoy it while it lasts!!

Belle, hope you're OK hun, if you've caught up on the thread you'll see that all the other mums with toddlers as well as a newborn are having a hard time too
The rest of us are all here to cheer you on - you're doing a great job and we can only imagine how hard it is with an older child as well as a newborn. Keep your chin up and don't forget to pop in for some support when you need it.
sw - where did you get the nappies? if you got them at woolies or kmart or target maybe you can get store credit which you can use for something useful instead of replacement nappies which will be just as bad. I think I got lucky and our woolies was running out old stock, because the packs I have seem to be the old design. Aldi nappies next time for sure.
Tenny I'm really moody when I'm knackered.... I know that is what causes it, so I try not to take it out on the Bear but sometimes I can't seem to help it

thanks girls tara is crying so much is feeding every hour at the moment and has not slept sice 10am, dont know what to doo. julias tantrums are so bad too and my anxiety is worse from lack of sleep 4 past 2 night.

Belle - could it be growth spurt?? I think that happens around 6 weeks, and we were warned that there would be relentless feeding and whinging for a couple of days (no sleep!!). I think Alyssa has started on that, last night here was pretty awful, too...

I'd consider driving up for the syd meet, but am a tad sleep deprived AND expecting visitors this fri... Not to mention, who knows how she'd react to 6 hours return trip

Hi all

Well I had a good day today with my son & my sister. I bought 2 pair of jeans I needed size 16! I l was like OMG (no offence to anyone) I still got fluids in my thighs I just have to burn them off, usually I'm a size 12 Bought 3 tops for spring/summer, I will buy more later on. And bought some rattling toys & pram toys for Jonathan. I will buy more later as well, as I'm sure my family will buy some as well, like my sister today bought toys for him. I love my sister. I went to her house today after shopping & we were talikng good ended up crying cause everything came out open. But i was good to get it off our chest.

Belle- Oh sweety I'm sure things will be ok soon, glad u can talk to us

Pixie- Yeah I did have a good time with my sister, it was what I needed to get out.

Somewoman- I still have a few left of the old nappies. But now that ur saying that the new ones are crappy, I might go buy babylove nappies, do you know if they are any good?

Sydney girls Are we talking about this friday as I wont be able to make it as I have heaps of running around to do before Liams baptism on Sunday. Can we make it next week.??????????????????

Oh Liam is due to get his first needles on Monday but not sure if they will do them if he has a cold. Might drop into the doc's today so see if there is anything I can give or do for Liam.

Anastasia - I have no idea what size jeans I would be!! Don't stress too much about fluid - I can give you a really good, easy, safe diet plan to follow if you like.. I made it myself and its how i lost all the weight last time.

Melb girls have fun at your meet up - Tan you gotta definitely come down, even if Chris wants to stay at home.. we'll take care of you!!

hi everyone. i guess i have been MIA for a week or so, missed heaps too much to catch up on.

a meet sounds great are we talking the 12th I'm free that day. where shall we go????? rouse hill shops worked last time but this so much more crouded with twin prams etc. what about a park if its a nice day one with a fence. I think the rouse hill reginal park is surposed to be good 4 picnics we r going there on sunday (if its sunny) 4 fathers day so i can let you know what its like. it has a toddler play area....

everything has been ok here. bit tired wish they would sleep thru the night. we are weening them onto formula now so hopefully that will help to settle them. just need more time to do things like chat on BB.

kell came over yesterday Isaac and Jesse had such a great time playing together. it was good to be social yet still wear my daggy trackies.

good news is i have now lost about 10.5kg.....post twins i was 98kg (maybe more) and i now weigh 78kg.....i'm so happy with myself i even bought some new clothes. 10 more kg's to go. Ha maybe...... now i'm not going to Breast feed i fear of gaining the weight back, i think i will have to use my treadmill thats a joke, i don't get time to pee let alone exercise..
