Pixie - We were told at Mother Group that if the babies have a blocked nose to express some milk and put a few drops up their nose. It will help them since your BF you could try and see if that clears it up. BM is also good for blocked duct in their eyes too or and if they have milk pimples just rub into their skin. Breast Milk is wonderful.

Kell - I'm so happy that Keira is sleeping so well for you. My little princess isn't I really don't know what else to do to make her sleep longer. Oh well she can just play on her floor gym and talk to her toys.

Tasia - Olive Oil is good for cradle cap too it will soften it and will just fall off.

Feeb - so happy that Jacob was such a good boy for his injections. Good to hear that he slept for you too. Can't wait to meet him Friday week at highpoint.

Well I'm looking forward to my DH coming home early tomorrow morning, I just have to deal with today and tonight then I will have that extra help with our little MISS.

A BIG to everyone I have missed, hope your day is going well.

    Hi all

Well back from being out and took kids to the doc. I havent said before but little Liam belly button sticks out and i didnt really think much of it. Well took Callum and Liam to doc's and there isnt anything I can do for the colds just use vicks and fess and wait it out. As for Liam's belly button well its a hernia. Awwww the poor little thing. Every thing seems to be going wrong With him. Im so sad for him. I have an appointment at my pedi in about 1 1/2 weeks so the doc just said wait till then. What do you think they will do??

Kell yep 12th is fine with me. Just let me know where abouts.

Gudism I have dimetapp too so Ill see what it says.

Anastasia I wouldnt pick off the craddle cap. I have QV cream or the nurse I had come out to me said to just use olive oil so that is what ive been using. I use QV oil in the bath and massage him everynight with olive oil. His craddle cap is all clear. He loves his bath time and massage. He feels so soft after. Good luck with it hun. Hope it clears soon.

Hey Kristy hun. Awwww I bet your not getting much sleep. I hope when the formular starts they will sleep through for you.

feeb oh poor jacob. Im dreading the injection for Liam. I hate needles my self and I know Ill probably get upset. Good luck with his weight hun but he has done good.

pixie I know how bad it is for the kids to try and feed when they have colds. I hope Beth is better soon.

Hi Ayapi, Lindsay, belle, bear, SW, tenny, tannis and anyone else ive missed. Hope your all well.

Well better go and get dinner ready

    Hi.

Missy - I hope everything goes ok with Liam. How do you get Hernias? Do they just form on their own or something? No idea what they'll do. I hope it's nothing too invasive.

Kell - Whoohoo! Awesome to hear Keira is sleeping through the night. OMG!!!!! what a scary dream.

Feeb - What a brave little man you have. I'm glad his injections went well.

Pixie - I hope Beth gets over her cold real fast.

Tasia - I hope the craddlecap clears soon.

Mez - YAY! Your DH is almost home. Whoohooooooo!

Awh, all you ladies and your meetups.
I wish I could meetup, but then again I'm really really shy.

Hayd has a routine going now. He has been sleeping through the night for weeks, then wakes 6:30/7am feed, goes back to sleep till at least 10am, then he's awake the rest of the day until about 4pm. Then he doses during the evening and wakes up to be fed, then usually his last feed for the day is 11:30pm/midnight. Then it starts all again.
I'm pretty happy with it. I can't complain.

I've been a bit lost lately. Kind of really down. I'm hoping it passes soon and doesn't drag my further down. Ah well... ***** happens, aye.
Also it's like I can't fully shake this damn cold off cause I'm so so rundown. It's hanging around like bad smell.

Sorry, such a poor effort by me.
    xoxo

    Hey mummies and dad!

I have briefly read through the posts....its getting too late I need to be in bed!
Tasia: I saw your qu about cradle cap, Jayden had it really bad when he was a bub and I was told from my SIL who is a hair dresser to use bicarb, mix it with just enough water to make a paste and massage it in when he's in the bath. It worked wonders for Jayden but then I know someone else that tried and it didn't work (no harm was done though so might be worth a try).

Its been raining pretty much all day today, SIL came to pick J up for day care and ended up staying for quite a while with the other day care kids cause there was nothing else they could do because of the rain. Then when they left I put together my new exercise bike (which Chris is not happy that I bought). I had the shopping to do as well but didn't leave home until 3.30pm and I was meant to pick J up at 4pm...lucky I don't get charged extra for being late, I got caught up with a guy I used to work with and didn't get to pick J up until 5.30pm!

I had my 2nd cup of coffee since J was born today, just felt like it for some reason....don't think I will do it again, Ashlea had slept no more than 1.5hrs all day then went to sleep at about 7.30pm I had to wake her to feed her at 11pm and she is out like a light again....She's swaddled good so hopefully I don't hear her until at least 6am haha.

I think I have another busy day tomorrow but I will try to catch up on personals soon
    nighty night!

ETA: Oh I nearly forgot....Wednesday I said to Chris that I won't bath Ashlea as I was too busy making dinner, cleaning up etc and HE offered to have a shower with her!! He asked if it would be ok, I said she's a little slippery but that would be fine to shower with her! I couldn't believe it so I took pics...above the waist of course (uploaded on FB).

Yep ive heard the olive oil is good too for the cradle cap.. just becareful you wash it all off before going in the car. Even its not really that hot atm.. the sun can come through the back window and burn bub's head

Tannis.. oh glad Chris is starting to get his butt into gear and helping you out hun!

Syd gals.. we'll see whats around, park wise. My only problem with somewhere like lollypops is ill have to be chasing Jesse around the whole time and wont really get to sit and talk.. plus chasing and looking after Keira might be fun also.. not. If you get me. I mean otherwise theres always that play area in Castle Towers? Its a bit smaller than lollypops and theres tables and chairs right there.

Zee.. hope Lucas is better for you today hun. Yep infacol is great! I never knew about that stuff with Jesse.. poor mite had colic and wind so bad when he was a baby.

Tenny.. thats great Hayden is in a routine, makes it all a bit easier hey. Oh hun, look after yourself ok. If you ever want to chat im here ok. Either on msn or pms or email. Is there anything youre feeling down about in particular? Ive been having some bad days too.. especially when my kids play up. Its a hard job to do raising kids.

Missy.. oh poor Liam. My gf's daughter has a belly button that sticks out.. imagining a complete inny but in reverse. Im not sure if shes ever had it checked out though. Ill have to ask. What will they do for it?

Mez.. have you tried giving Izzy a bath of an evening and massage etc? Dim the lights or use least amount of light possible. Is she wrapped? Maybe during the day when shes awake take her out of the wrap as much as possible and then wrap her when you want her to sleep so she may get the hint, wrapping is for sleeping? Also, if Keira wakes during the night, i usually leave her nappy and not change it. She's usually fine until morning in it, but have found changing her nappy wakes her up more. You can get a Calm remedy from Braun also for babies.. maybe that might help her of a night? Hope she starts behaving for you soon!

Another pretty good night here (Keira wise!). She fed at 10pm, woke at 5am and was back asleep by 5.30am so am pretty happy with that. Would be happier if Jesse would stop waking up through the night moaning until i go in and tuck him in. I dont get why hes doing it. He has the blankets on him mostly when i go in there so i dont think hes cold. But when i go him his eyes are closed like hes asleep and he's fine once ive tucked him in then walk out. I feel like crap every morning from the broken sleep im getting.

Keira has her 6 week check up this morning. FIL is coming to watch Jesse so i dont have to lug him with me yay! Plus its raining and would be a biarch getting both kids out of the car in the wet.
