:hello: yummy mummies and beautiful babies!
Hope you're all having a great weekend.... First a few personals
Kel - what an awesome cake! soooo good that Jesse had a fantastic party and you all had a great night's sleep... well done I think you deserved it after all the hard work of the party!
Zee babe, don't worry about PMing - when you're ready I know you've been having a shocking time, especially with Laila hurting herself. I hope she's better soon sweet, and get in touch anytime you like. The Bear still lurks but I think he has been a bit busy to post lately. And he's been causing arguments in other areas (of BB that is) and spending time in the cooking section!
Mel & Tan - so jealous of you two meeting up sounds like you had a great time! Pics please!
Belle honey great news about the haircut - it's sooo nice to do something just for you! And great that Tara slept so long! Love it when they do that.
Mez & Tenny, bummer about DH not being able to settle the little ones. DD is such a little daddy's girl she often settles better for the Bear than for me! LOL
Tan & SW - was sooo close to buying jeans for DD the other day... instead I bought a little denim dress which is soooooo cute. Have to post a pic when I can.
As for us it's been a good weekend.... yesterday the Bear took Beth to the markets and I got to have a 2 hour nap! YAY! then we went to a party last night, and Beth slept through most of it, woke up had a feed and then was happy and smiley as people passed her around and cooed at her. And then she slept from midnight until 6am!!! was sooo cool, I was really happy about that especially since she was absolutely ravenous yesterday feeding every 2 hours! And pulling on my nipples as if she wasn't getting enough flow from them, especially the left one! my nipples feel like shoe leather LOL. today the PIL came over - they planned to take DD for a walk so I could have a lie-in. But when they told me how far they planned to go, i thought I'd better go with them otherwise they were going to be stuck for hours with a screaming starving infant! We ended up going for a 10k walk which was only about a third of what they originally planned. It was really good though, only problem was I forgot to put sunscreen on my chest so I'll be burnt. It was really hot today, beautiful cool breeze now though! It will be hot enough to go in the pool soon - I sent away for free swim nappies (you can send away for them from the huggies website BTW in case anyone is interested) so when I get those I can take DD in the pool.
And DD has her 6-8 week check tomorrow so we will have her weighed and measured again.
So that's all my news, sorry to anyone I missed with personals and have a great weekend.
Yeh, Keira is only now generally wrapped at night as it still gets quite cold here or during the day if shes having trouble settling. I want to to be wrap free by summer. Was terrible with Jesse being wrapped when it got hot as he was a sweaty baby as it was. So during the day now ive been trying to keep Keira unwrapped, and if she is, just loosly. I did the same with Jesse to get him wrap free, then just sitched to Grobags. So over the next month or so will do with Keira also.
But i think a good way to get them out of the wraps is to during the day, wrap them not as tight. Once they start getting use to being less restricted, then leave one arm out of the wrap.. once content with that then do both, until the wrap is completely gone.
Pixie.. oh how nice of Bear. lol yeh i sent away for those swim nappies for Jesse.. still waiting! lol. I think he was the same age at Keira is now.
I have a whole packet of swim nappies here that I've never used if anyone wants them - first in, best dressed!!!
Pics might be a while - have to resize them cos too big to load on here - and no photoshop on this computer (yes SW - we are looking into that other program ;))
Tenny - she's not 2 months yet so no needles..... doesn't look as bad today - still got red eyes and the rash, but she's not as splotchy......... will take her to our normal docs tomorrow :)
Oh and we don't wrap here anymore cos she sleeps on her tummy :)
PMSL! guess I'd better not wait then!:
lol yeh i sent away for those swim nappies for Jesse.. still waiting! lol. I think he was the same age at Keira is now.
ohh i just sent away for them after reading pixie post!!!
hey every1,
We r on our way home now. I had a fantastic time with
Mel and her family. YOUR kids r gorgeous too, YOU have a gorgeous family! Haha. Can't believe how much A cried in the car on the way home!
I'll post tomorrow, I don't want to do a huge post then lose connection. We r in the middle of nowhere now.
Thanks for yesterday Mel, can't wait to do it again!
Evening all,
Feeb - I'm up for another meet up sweet. Oh and yes please with the tickets to the baby expo. I am still wrapping Izzy too cause her hands and arms just go wild until she falls asleep. I pretty much just wrap her and not put any blankets on her when it's hot.
Mel - Mekhelti sleeps on her belly hey, I have a hard time getting Izzy to do her belly time let alone her sleeping on it :p I can't wait to see the photos of your meet up with Tannis and her family.
Pixie - sounds like you've had a busy weekend. Wow that is a long walk, I hope you aren't too burnt from it.
SW - we tried to get Izzy to sleep in her grobag today but her arms were going everywhere and she just wouldn't sleep so I had to swaddle her and she fell asleep straight away. But we will keep on trying maybe during her day naps.
Tenny - Oh that's funny, It's good to be small good things come in small packages lol.
Well Isabel slept in her cot last night which went well, I think I was up 20 times checking on her but she seemed to be okay in there. During the day naps she is still in her cradle as she looks around to much and doesn't sleep. Her room with drapes closed is still quite light.
A BIG hello:hello: to everyone else that I haven't done a personal for.
Hi girls
How was your weekend? we took some pics of us at the beach this morning, have put them on FB if you would like to have a lookie! I hate my haircut oh well, on FB my pic is of me and Tara so you can see my hair flyaway in the wind this morning, looks really cherry (not!) will have to take another pic of my hair after I have straightened it with my hair straightner and get dressed up unlike this morning where I looked daggy lol.
Tara hates her hands being wrapped we only wrap her from the waist down at the moment. I have some sleeping bags that I used with Julia from 3 months onwards so will be using them for summer! totally recommend sleeping bags :) so much better than wrapping.
Tania - travel safe mate.
Pixie - dont you love growth spurt feeds, dont worry it only lasts one day or so of constant feeding every 2 hours well for Tara its that long but it is tiring but its amazing to see how fast they grow! best wishes for tomorrow for Beths checkup!
Zee hon got your text, I havent been able to respond cause 3 disconnected my service, dont get me started on 3, they wrote down my wrong BSB no, and wondered why they didnt receive payment uh duh... Thurs sounds great mate...
Hello to everyone my eyes are hanging out of my head im so tired so will be back tomorrow morning to say more hellos's mwah to all.
Bel

Hi all
Well back from Mums. Had a great time. Got back and DH had put the fence up for me in the front yard. Him and FIL had been busy all weekend putting uit up for me and wow it looks great. I got hammered from the sun on Saturday. Im so red. Sore very sore...but thats what happens when you sit and read the magz for 4 hrs...lol.
Love all the photos too. Im very tired so be back tomorrow for personals.
Bye for now :hello:
Hi ladies,
I'm here using my hubby's laptop, which feels pretty weird, cause never used a laptop before lol. I'm actually sick at the moment, my throat & ear hurt alot. If it gets worse I might go to my local GP. It only hurts on my right side hmmm. And I have a headache. I'm thinking it's throat & ear infection, it can't be tonslitis as I have had it removed when I was little. This is the first time in ages I have been sick, well not really sick just sore. Hope u all ladies had a great weekend :)
Kell- Hey sweety, I'm ok just feel like **** really. The cake looks gorgeous :)
Feeb- I sometimes wrap Jonathan during the day, but always at night, as he does try to fight it alot. So I tell him who's boss lol. But i won't wrap him in summer, i want him to be summer wrap free hehehe. I'm up for another meet-up to sweety.
Mary- Oh that's great that Izzy slept well in her cot, well done. I have put jonathan in his cot during the day once last week, but he only slept for 20 mins lol. I will try it more when he is 3 or 4 months old.
Anyway ladies i'm off not sure when i will be back on. But soon, anyway melb girls let me know when u want to catch up :)
Nite ladies take care & keep smiling :)
xoxoxoxoxoxox
Melski - I'll put my hand up for the swim nappies! I'll PM you my address if that's OK!:
I have a whole packet of swim nappies here that I've never used if anyone wants them - first in, best dressed!!!
and now - I'm going to sleep!
Pixie chick - yup not a problem
Tan - PM me your email address and I'll email some good shots to you mate :)
Anastasia - I think it would feel funny on a normal computer I've been on a laptop for so long!! (Well until I go back to work anyway!!)
Missy - I'm glad you had a good time at your mums place!!! Yayyyy for the fence - need someone to come and fix mine.. LOL
Belle - don't worry bout it mate - hair always grows.. I was going to shave all mine off the other day. pmsl...
Ok update - DD doesn't have measles - she has something viral but they don't know what. It looks a lot like measles, she has all the symptoms, the rash etc,but she doesn't have the high temp, so the doc said its something else... so nothing too serious apparently (which confuses me, if they don't know what it is, how do they know its not serious?!) Anyhooo....
Better go.. got a toddler climbing on me - did you know that crayons are really tasty for a toddler? I do now!!!!
Morning ladies!
Well im so happy Jesse slept through for the second night in a row.. lets hope hes back to his old self!
I need to get some new swim nappies for Jess before i forget and swimming lessons start! His others are too small now. BTW with those huggies ones.. the disposables.. if they dont poo in it, you can just stick them in the washing machine and re use them. Jesse went last summer and lessons with just using the one pack. Saves you money and they work as if theyre new after being washed.
Tasia.. aww hun hope you get better soon. Not fun being sick.
Missy.. glad you had a great time away. Oh what a good boy Dh is!
Mez.. oh i was the same with Jesse in his new cot! Wait until they start rolling over! I slept the first few nights after he rolled on his floor!!! Lucky he hated tummy time too and would scream whenever he rolled over. Keira, well, she likes tummy time so dont know what we'll do there!
Mel and Tannis.. i wanna see photos!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok have done all the washing, Keira's asleep, Jesse's playing outside. Going to go check out one more day care this arvo and pick up a cot mobile for Keira once DH gets home so i dont have to take any kiddies with me. Whats everyone got in the way of mobiles? We had one for Jesse that put lights on the roof and stuff, but i want a cuter one for Keira. We have one that is wooden colourful animals she was given but didnt come with a pole to hang it off. Was fine on the cradle as it had a pole but dont have one for the cot and you cant just buy a pole on its own. So am going to look at the ones that come with a mobile but it just hooks on if that makes sense.. so will be able to change it.
ETA.. Mel.. glad little miss doesnt have the measles!! Hope its just something simple like ecsma?
morning all,
Isabel slept in her bed for the second night which is great, I was a little better too :p She is sleeping at the moment but not in her cot as she looks around too much and doesn't sleep during the day.
We filled out an passport application for Isabel over the weekend and going to get her photos taken today for it. I'm thinking of going to Auckland in a couple of weeks as my DH is going to China again for 11 nights and I really don't want to be on my own for that long. It will be good for Isabel to see her nana and popa again too, I'm sure they will love having us.
Isabel has like a rash on her face too more like heat rash and dry skin so I'm going to buy some Sorbelene (sp?) to see if they helps and maybe ask the pharmacist on what they think it may be.
Oh I'm also starting on my diet today need to lose at least 6kgs by Christmas as none of my clothes fit me. Doing it on my own with all the weight watches books I have for when I did it before my wedding.
Sorry no personals today it's all about me.. Will come back later to do them.
Have a great day!
Heyas. :)
Mel - I'm glad DD doesn't have the measles. LOL @ crayons. Yeah, my crazy chicken used to eat crayons too. Yumyum. :p He used to loveeee lipgloss too.
Kell - YAY! Jesse looks like he's back to his old self. Whoohoo. Oh yeah, I remember the first few nights when Elijah started to roll over too. Hardly slept at all. So much worry.
Missy - Welcome back, chica. How's your mum going? I hope everything is going great with her. WOW! what a great DH and FIL you have to do that while you're away. I wonder if my DP would do that if I went away for a bit.. Highly doubt it. He'd probably sleep the whole time and act like he's on hoildays. lol.
Tasia - I hope you feel better soon, sweet.
Pixie - Thanks for mentioning the swimmer nappies. I've never used them before. I went and ordered a few sample too.
Mez - YAY Izzy! Good luck with your diet!
xx
Eczema isn't simple. it requires a lifetime of prevention to avoid itching, pain, frequently hideous scars, etc.
Alyssa will most likely have eczema (it's a very predominant gene on her dad's side) - we can never use soap on her, need special shampoos (the shampoos running down DH's body cause dryness and itching), have to moisturise several times a day and when she gets outbreaks we need to use a steroid based cream on her skin. The only simple part of that is that we have it all here already for DH.
Her cousins (on dad's side) both have it. From what I've heard from SIL, it's awful explaining to her 5 year old boy that he has to wait to play because he needs to rub the creams in. It's easy enough to maintain, but you need to be on it ALL the time.
In a lot of ways, measles would be simpler - providing the are treated quickly. At least they go away.
SW -
LOL - no need for that. I knew I'd (probably) have a kid with eczema before we ever decided to try. It's so strong through DHs family. It usually shows up around 3 months or so in breast fed babies, so we haven't had any problems yet. We're still treating her s though she were an eczema baby though. Prevention is always better than cure.
Just saying why eczema isn't simple. Unless you've experienced it, it's easy to assume it's just a little dry skin. DH has some awful scarring from when the itching just won't subside no matter what - and that will never fade. It's a LOT of fuss to ensure he never gets bad enough for that level of itching, it's going to be a lot of fuss to ensure Alyssa never gets there. It's just not "simple".
Not after sympathy - just educating ;)
SW.. gee sorry, but i meant in terms that with eczma there are treatments for it and am hoping its not some sort of infection that may be alot more serious.
Anyways.. im going to put jesse to bed.. back later.
Consider myself -EDUCATED...
pmsl....
Now... if only it wasn't so friggin hot in this house and these children would SLEEP... I'd be a happy girl.... ;)
Hmm. yes. chocolate. Diet.... tomorrow....
Anyone else having troubles with pets and their bubbas?
It's not really with the baby, it's more with the bubba clothes. Lol.
Grr.
No need for apologies - as mentioned I was just saying why eczema isn't simple.
If I had to get up in the morning (pre-Alyssa) to go somewhere, I need 20 minutes to be up and ready to leave. DH needs over an hour. Same ritual at bed. I can be ready in 5, he needs a LOT longer. This is EVERY day for life - not just the duration of an infection. Infections suck. Some can be really, REALLY nasty - I wouldn't wish them on anybody. Eczema is maintenance every single day for life to avoid the itching which leads to the scarring and such.
OK sw.. point taken! I wont mension the word eczma again.
Im starting to regret showing some sympathy to mel.
Tenny.. we dont have pets but do you mean the fur or your pets destroying them?
thats the problem with forums... People take it too seriously
I was REALLY not having a go. When people are so flippant about something because they simply don't know about it, they should be educated or at least given the option. It's not about guilt, stupidity, anything. It's about expanding what we know - and there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with not knowing either. I didn't say you shouldn't show sympathy to Mel - just that the statement at the end was written without prior research.
This is apparently an open discussion about our babies and what they experience. You're entitled to say what you want without expecting it to cause an uproar or people to get angry at you for having said it. I should also be afforded that right. I was not having a go - just letting you know why making a blanket statement that eczema is simple is not necessarily true. The same thing happened a little while ago re. the cold sores and herpes virus - people pass it off as nothing because they don't know. They deserve the chance to expand their knowledge. It's not an insult to them, just a way of letting them know what it really is about.
Awww Kel :(
Grrrrr screaming f**king baby in arms.... going to wake toddler - I hate it when babies just will not go to sleep no matter how hard you try to get them to go to sleep and then scream blue bloody murder because they are overtired and the toddler has just fallen asleep!!!
Seriosly - this goes out to all the babies in the world - if your mummy knows you are tired and is rocking you - GO TO SLEEP!!!!!
I hate screaming.. its ok when you only have one in the house... but two.. oh my lord... I need a cuppa ...lol
As i have already said.. i meant it in terms of with eczma there are treatments for it and am hoping its not some sort of infection that may be alot more serious. I just dont need a lecture about something where i was merely showing sympathy to and was directed to another member.
I guess i'm not entitled to express my opinions then. No probs...
BTW - having spent a few years as a lecturer - that wasn't even close to a lecture. Let me know when you have three hours to listen to an in depth analysis of it and I'll give you a lecture.
I wasn't downplaying the severity of Mehkelti's rash - Mel knows that. I was merely correcting an omission of facts.
He doesn't destroy them.. yet.:
Tenny.. we dont have pets but do you mean the fur or your pets destroying them?
I look after my sisters dog during the day. I don't have to but I do and Elijah loves to play with him, etc etc. He's like just over 1. When hayden was first born he was a bit lost but never took his clothes, or anything. He was just curious.
Now 10 weeks on Billy is taking wondersuits, or socks, or anything that I may have in the basket part under the basinette.
I really don't know why he's started this. He's interested in Hayden. He thinks Hayden will play with him sometimes, I reckon. Lol.
Maybe he's just obsessed. I have no idea. Anyone else got any ideas why this may be happening?
Mel - Omg. I had a screaming baby like that yesterday. It's such a nightmare especially when it's hot. Today I've got the normal Hayden back. Thank god! I hope the little miss goes to sleep soon and sleeps for a while & doesn't wake DS up.
Tenny - pmsl - maybe he wants to play dress ups....lol
nah bein serious now - my beagle does this when she wants attention. could be the same? they feel threatened and act out - just like toddlers!!!
hope he doesn't destroy them!!!
 Dressups.
I guess it is attention seeking, hey.
So far so good with not destroying them. It makes me so angry though. :wall:
I've been so suprised lately at the way Elijah has been with having Hayden around.
He's really really good with Hayden. Kisses & cuddles and everything. You know how some children try and do things to the baby cause they're jealous? I was thinking Elijah was going to be like that, but not one little bit.
( and YAY! I've reached 1,000 posts. What a coolcat, I am. jkjk. I'm such a forum freak. )
Tenny.. hmm id say hes taking it because of Hayden's smell on them. Maybe its like a new toy to him? new smell = new toy? But yeh maybe what Mel said.. because Haydens getting this attention, the dog may think if he takes all the clothes (the smell of that "new" thing) it will get rid of the baby iykwim? How cute of Elijah! I was the same, thinking Jesse would get jealous.. but hes nothing but gentle with Keira. Its so lovely to see hey. Makes your heart melt.
ROFL love it, my baby keeps knocking the dummy out of her mouth and waking up and I can tell she is just exhausted!:
Seriosly - this goes out to all the babies in the world - if your mummy knows you are tired and is rocking you - GO TO SLEEP!!!!!
Phew - what a day - where did it go! We had Beth's 6-8 week appointment this morning.... she is 5kg, length 57cm, head circ 39.2cm and just under 75th percentile.
And I also got a copy of her discharge letter from RPA, which I never got a copy of before (we should have got a copy, obviously it just slipped through the cracks). It was good to have that because it says she only had 'mild respiratory distress' and that she had good respiratory effort at 7 minutes... I was happy about that because from what the Bear said I thought she didn't try to breathe for like 45 minutes.
Went out shopping with my stepmum and baby sister, which was fun and managed to get one load of washing on but the weather is crap so my sheets won't be going on the line today!
Tenny LOL at your dog stealing the clothes and playing dressups! PMSL
bugger it, where did the wave smilie go? :wall: now I can't wave at everyone I missed with personals, so to everyone I missed -
Hello.
Ok i have 15 mins till 90210 is on so i'll post what i can and come back tomorrow if i get a chance.
I wrote a long post earlier today but walked away from the computer and DS1 cane and started clicking the mouse and deleted it.
anyway
Bell- why don't you like your hair? i know a bob can be hard work i always ask a client if they are willing to blow dry their hair every day before i cut one. unless you have curly hair that is.
kell- love the cake, you should do a course and go professional it looks better than the one i bought for ikes 1st birthday. wanna meet up on friday i'm meeting Jess and charlie 4 a coffee.
Pixie- i'm glad beth was good at the party. we will be taking our boys to a party in a couple of weeks it starts at 6pm so i hope ike will be ok; there will be a heap of kids there so we will just have to pray he goes ok staying up till midnight. and beth's weight gain and growth sounds great, i need to weigh my boys again too.
oh 3 mins left
missy- glad the fence is up. but shame you got burnt, do you have alo? summer is almost here again.
ok time is up BBL or maybe tomorrow.
:loveshower:love to all...
Oh wow ive missed so much. Ok im sorry if I miss some of you in the personal department.
Kristy I know im silly getting so burnt. I do have a alo plant, well I think it is...lol...Ill have to have a looksy. So Kell and Kristy, who's house this week. I really still cant have it here if you want to go out side. If we stay inside I can have it here. I can only do Thurs or Fri this week. Let me know what you want to do??
Kell hun hope your well. Did I miss some thing. Who has eczma?? Im so excited about having the kids spending some time together.
Pixie well done on your little ones growth. Well done!! How is the bear going anyways.?? Havent seen him in a while!
:o tenny wowo on the post hun....I thought i was a feak with the amount of messages...now your up there too...heheh. done on the 1000's. Also Tenny my dogs chew up everything too. DH left the empty baby bottle out here last week and when I got up the dog had chew'd the teat up...Then I went outside to the laundry and the bibs had been chew'd up too. Bloody bogs...
SW how you doing?? Hope your well
Arimeh hey ya hun. Dont you hate it when the baby wakes(:shhh:) the rest of the house...gggrrrrrrrr:doh:
Hi Belle, Zee, tannis, hmmmmmm I have no brain. Im sorry for the ladies ive missed. And I know I have!! Sorry ;)
Well Liam is smiling so much now its so cool. He is cooo'ing and goooo'ing lots too but so soft..He is so so cute. I just love watching him. Callum is talking heaps too and very funny. His latest is if I say NO you cant do that he says ( yes I do that ) The other is he says ( I happy) or ( mummy happy) then jumps up and down screaming and clapping...lol He is such a big boy now. He is going great guns with his toilet training, does lots of wee's on the potty but has only done 2 poo's. Poo's is abit harder but we will get there.
Well have a great night all.
Mel: I had a great time and loved meeting your beautiful family! How did the itti bitti wash up? LOL I did feel your pain when A went into the water with it PSML!! Great to hear its not the measles!! Although eczema I'm sure would be a PITA least its not as serious as what measles could be, esp in such a young baby...so do you think it is eczema? Hows your dog too? I have photoshop, I can resize the pics and post them. Crayons not only taste great but also look great on tiles, tables and windows!
Belle: I love your new haircut....I'm not so sure about mine, I have to straighten it and wear makeup otherwise it doesn't look right.....and I have all the time in the world to do that every morning LOL
Tenny: Thats great Elijah is back to his usual self...Jayden is a ratbag whether he is sick or not LOL. We haven't had any trouble with the pets, but they are all outside these days so they haven't got the oppertunity to go near A's clothes, I think it could be an attention thing too maybe. I have been surprised over J too how good and mostly gentle with A, he is a real mummy's boy and hated me even looking at another baby (he pushed a little girl off my knee on xmas day). Thats great Elijah loves his little brother!
Tasia: Hope you are feeling better!
Mez: Hows Izzy going in her cot? Have you got a monitor in there? Hows Izzy's rash, did you find out what to use? QV wash and moisturisers are great for babies skin, I used something else for Jayden it started with C, can't remember though but it was great!
Kell: I have the super thin muslin wraps....I love them! I usually only use it after A's dream feed at midnight but I tried her today at midday to make her sleep longer and I got 3.5hrs out of her! Not sure if it was coincidence or because of the wrap. We haven't got a mobile yet and Jayden had a star lightshow thing which he loved. I got the Gossemar Kidsline cot sheet set, doona etc so I want to get the matching mobile or something with butterflies.
SW: GL with not swaddling...I can see how they can be dangerous but I do know a few ppl that wrapped their babies until 6mths or more....not sure what we will do, play it by ear I guess. Jayden was never swaddled, he hated it and alway escaped.
Rach: Aww denim dress!!! How cute! OMG on the walk....10kms is more than enough!
Missy: Woohoo on the fence! Hope the sunburn has eased a bit...I used to get so burnt a few yrs ago that I couldn't walk! I try not to get that burnt anymore. We are TT'ing here too, you wouldn't believe the amount of wee I had to clean up today...my fault I should have been paying attention. J is going great guns with it too but no poo's yet (well 1 a while ago), he is also insisting on going to the big toilet which surprises me as last week he had no interest in either toilet or potty!
As I have already said we had a great time with Mel and her family! We had gone down there for my nephew's 1st bday which was really good too and the resort we stayed in OMG!! It was nice. We got the main bedroom which had a king size bed, huge WIR, huge ensuite with a cnr spa (which I enjoyed immensely!!). The pools were gorgeous (not that I went in), the lagoon pool was the best but it wasn't heated and way way too cold for me!! Sunday we went shopping for a few hours which was great as we don't have as many shops in Bundy, and I left Chris and Jayden at his sisters so no whinging boys to deal with. Ash was great while we were out, just slept most of the time except when she had a shop assistant in Myer admiring her she woke and was just being cute as ever haha She got whingy toward the end cause she was hungry. We left the sunny coast I think just before 4pm and both kids slept the entire 3hr trip home!
Well this post is long enough....better clean up and go to bed
ETA: Here's a pic of all of us... https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...89&ppuser=4086
Tan & Mel... oh thats such a cool photo!!! Oh i wish we all lived closer!!!!!!!!!!!
Tannis.. i love your ticker! Its so pretty! Yeh all my wraps and stuff i got from my sister and the muslim ones are great! Especially for those hotter nights. Plus Keira seems to have a thing for holding a blanket to feel secure.. so when in her rocker and its hot i just put one of those over her also. SOunds like you had a lovely trip!
Missy.. lol no one, well sw's DD and DH.. but was just a passing comment to Mel that kinda was made into something bigger than it kinda was. Oh yay for the cooing and smiling! He may just be a very laid back little person. Maybe good with callum being so on the go! I hope Keira is! After Jesse like that too! lol.. though i can see already she is a fussy pot and knows what she wants! Oh thats great for the wees on the potty! Im yet to buy one. Not that i think Jesse would understand yet. But he does squat whenever hes doing a poo.. so might be a time, come summer to just have him in his nappy around the house and whip it off when he squats.
Kristy.. yep we'll be there! Will be great to see Jessie and cute little Charlie again!
Pixie.. oh great stats! Oh thats a releaf too. Yeh when things like that happen it feels like time goes so slow and it happens forever.
Mel.. get your butt on msn woman.. well sometime!
Went out to that day care place and its full for next year! doh! But am on a waiting list. Am going to have a drive by another today on the way to the shops. Also no luck with the mobile grrrr... so going to go to my local BigW where i saw one there i liked.. better still be there! lol or we're going for a drive to Penrith!
Just waiting for sleeping beauty to wake up! Suppose i can feed Jess in the mean time. Oh well so much for my sleeping through boy.. was up 3 times last night.. ahh well.. was nice while it lasted.
Kell: Yeah I love my new ticker, I am going to try and do a new 1 each month. Bugger about the DCC, hope you find one today. I'm still waiting for Jayden to wake up, Ash woke at 6.15am and she is going back to sleep on me now. Jayden will sleep through for a while then start waking again, he woke once last night.
I fed Ash earlier last night (10.45/11pm) and that got her through until 6.15am, I might try and do that all the time now because it is so much easier to have her fed and me have my brekki before Jayden wakes up....He'll probably start getting up earlier!
We are having another quiet day today, I am still pretty exhausted from the weekend....Not as bad as yesterday though so I might get some house work done. I did do 2 loads of washing yesterday and swept the floor....gotta resweep today and hopefully mop.
Ash is asleep now so I'l put her back in her bassinette and have a shower....Woohoo a shower before 9am!!
Oh I worked out (a while ago now) that Jayden and Ashlea are 2yrs, 2mths, 2days and all but for a few minutes 2 hrs apart! I think 2 will be my lucky number now!
