    Tasia -

Kell - We're doing baths and showers these days. Yeah, the baby bath is getting too small lengthwise for us too. We we move to our new place we'll have an actual bathtub. I can't wait. I haven't had a bathtub in my house since I was little. I'm excited.

I was actually thinking about bath seats or whatever the other day.
There was no need to get one with DS1 cause we didn't have a bath, so I don't know what to get.
So... What's good? What's not? Any suggestions and ideas would be great.
    Thanks ladies.

    xx

kell- sorry sweety i missed ur post to. He's not bringing up much milk just a little & also when he is lying down in his bouncer after a while he brings out a little more milk without being upset. It looks like that it doesn't hurt him him. I'm more concerned about the clear fluid he brings up, is that part of the milk? I change his nappy before he has a feed, I used to do it after & it was a big no no. I have tried sitting jonathan up for half an hour and he will still bring little milk up. I suppose that if he doesn't get upset he's ok.

Tenny.. you can get lie down ones that are plastic from BigW or Kmart. They are great! You can also get ones that are made from terry towelling.. they are terrible!! Bubs just slides of them! But the lay down one i found wonderful for Jesse. You dont need to hold them, they just lay in it. Ill post a pic of Jesse in his so you can see what it looks like.

Tasia.. id say the clear stuff is saliva? Keira would bring up the same too. Yeh i think as long as its not hurting them, theyre not upset alot (as in have trouble settling) and is not a full on amount (theyre still putting on weight fine) then it just comes up with wind because theyre bellies arent mature enough yet to keep it down. That was Jesse's case. But again, if youre ever concerned, get a second opinion and see your GP.

    Afternoon all,

Mel - so sorry to hear that M is so unsettled for you sweet. Good on you with your walk, we have a couple of hills around our home to and it does hurt, just wait till tomorrow

Kell - Is Jesse just unsettle and not sleeping for you sweet? I hope he does tonight so you can get some rest. We have been bathing Izzy in the laundry tub but now we have had showers with her, but will try out the bath tonight.

Feeb - Good luck with your family photos, i'm sure they will be beautiful, I really can't wait to see them.

Kristy - Oh sweet I love your photos you have a beautiful family.

Well we have had another good day/night in this household. Isabel is sleeping in her grobag too now and doing really well. Tomorrow we are taking her for her 8 week immunisations and I have to say I'm freaking out. I'm sure Izzy will be fine I'm more worried about me which is why I have my DH coming to support ME lol.

Met up with Jessica and Georgia today which was lovely, but had to cut our outing short as poor little Georgia was a little unsettled. Man she has grown, big beautiful blue eyes.

Well better get some dinner on, going to make tuna bake tonight yummy.

Kell - Thanks for showing me a picture. How long did you use it for with Jesse?
We don't have BigW or Kmart here, stupid small country town.
What's the name of those kinda seats? I might get online somewhere if DP wants to get it.

Kristy - The photo looks FABULOUS! Are you happy with how they all turned out after having a hard time getting them done?

Feeb - Awesome about the mum and bubba classes. I'm glad he was a good boy too. It's always hard to find what you're looking for when you really need it for something isn't it. So frustrating. I hope the family snaps turn out fantastic.

Mel - Rice crackers are yummy. If only my ratbag would eat them and not just lick the flavour off the outside then give the sticky licked cracker to me. Yumyum

I really don't know how I feel today. I had a bit of a go at DP before when he was having his lunch hour, but he deserved it. Just saying little things these past few days has gotten to me. Makes me feel like we're (Elijah, Hayden, and myself) a hassle.
He doesn't mean it for it to come across like that but seriously.. why can't he stop and think before saying it.

Mez - We must have been posting at the same time. I'm glad Izzy is sleeping great.
Immunisations are hard. My DP goes with me too. He's the one that holds them and I just stand back and cover my eyes. I hope Izzy goes alright with them and you too.

Hello all (I'm so annoyed that they have taken the wave smilie away!)
Mel hon no wonder you're grumpy! Anyone would be in your shoes! Hope she settles down and has a sleepy few days for you soon.
Kristy - great pics! I especially love the one of Ike by himself, and all the boys with nan. You and DH are looking fine too!
Feeb - how good are you going to personal training! I struggle to go for a walk to the shops with the pram sometimes LOL
Tenny - we bath DD in the laundry tub or she goes in the shower with the Bear. She loves either, but the problem with the laundry tub is, she kicks off one side and bashes her head on the other side. silly girl! LOL
Tasia, Hope your ear infection is better. My DD does that thing with the milk too, its just a tiny bit. Kel she also brings up the curdled milk sometimes too, and her eyes go red and watery. I figure it's pretty normal at this age.
Mez, good luck with the shots and lucky you meeting up with JK and Georgia.
Belle hope the books help and DH gets better....
will have to get a trailer on the back and put a couch on there for her.. lol
Mel you're starting to freak me out. do you know what we did this morning? We put a trailer on the back of our car and put a couch on it and drove to the blue mountains.... Has one of us posted about this or are you psychic???? My mum bought herself a house and bought our old sofa so we drove it up there for her. Her new place is pretty nice actually, and it was fun going for a drive but it got a bit long at the end, because the Bear needed to play musical trailers and put diesel in the car. DD was overdue for a feed but she was sooooo well behaved, slept almost the whole way and just had a short grizzle. Now I need to think of something to make for dinner because the Bear has been shifting stuff all week and is too knackered to cook.

Kell: Ashlea is only just fitting in her baby bath, Jayden went in to a big bath at 10wks old, Ashlea is 9wks so it'll be around the same time I guess. The only reason she is still in there is I don't have to bend down to bath her cause its on a stand.

Mel: Hope Mehkelti settles for you! Just keep remembering she will grow out of it. Woohoo on the walk! I wouldn't be going up hills with pram and a baby. I walked almost 2kms with Jayden in the pram and me holding (no sling just holding) Ashlea, it was so hard but we got there....no hills involved thank god! Did you get pizza? We had pizza last night, I had an easy night last night with J in bed at 5.30pm, A was still asleep from 2.30pm til 6.30pm, I had no dishes to do so I just relaxed on the recliner and watched TV.

Tasia: Poor you! Glad you are feeling better. Ash has been throwing up a bit lately, its just overflow...even after she has had a sleep sometimes she will dribble out milky fluid, I'd say its just saliva and milk mixed.

Kristy: OMG what fantasic photos! And what a beautiful family!

Feeb: Woohoo on your personal training....I really gotta start doing something! Can't wait to see the family pics!

Mez: GL for Izzy's needles....she will be fine and so will you. Maybe I'm heartless but getting their needles have never bothered me, I hate to see them upset but its good for them and they get over it. I was going to make tuna bake tonight but decided on shepards pie.

Tenny: Men can be so insensitive can't they! Chris says little things all the time and wonders why I get p'ed off.

Rach: What a good girl Beth is sleeping in the car!

Belle: Sounds like a lovely day you had! HOw long was your Mum in Perth for?

Missy: I find it hard saying no to J when he is good too...luckily for my bank acc thats not too often lately LOL.

We walked to J's old carer's house which was good but it was a bit hot for J. Kids played really well together, A had a nap while we were there and the carer got excited cause she fell asleep when she had her. The walk home wasn't so good as J was tired and refused to walk, I had A's sling in the wash from the weekend so I had to carry her with a wrap to cover her as the sun was way way too hot for her and J cried nearly the whole 30 min walk home. He didn't sleep when we got home either and I was exhausted, I locked him and me in his room and I had a little sleep while he played. A was whingy this arve while I was trying to cook dinner...Chris stayed on the couch....must have been glued again! Chris is at squash now, SIL#6 stayed for dinner but has now left, J is in bed and A is stirring but should go back to sleep easily.....I think I'm going to have an early night!!

Belle - we were only there for an hour, dropped off the couch chatted to my mum, did a drive-by to show another friend the baby and then had to rush back to return the trailer. It's beautiful up there at the moment though - the trees are springing into life and the flowers are blooming.
Beth has settled back to normal. sleeping lots the last few days! Hopefully you've got that to look forward to!
We are hoping to go on a quick trip away next week - Bear will be starting a new job soon, and it's my birthday shortly so it would be good - but typical, when we finally can go away it's school holidays! so it might be tricky but I'm sure we'll manage....
Tan you must have posted while I was cooking dinner - how do you fit so much in? no wonder you're knackered!
