Tan - 3 days a week I guess Depending on whether I can get day care for Miss M though - haven't heard back from any centre or family day care yet....

Needles went ok - she screamed a bit - then got over it. Doc told me to give her gaviscon for her reflux, see if that helps. So we'll try that first I guess.

Bear - GORGEOUS pics ... she is soooo cute!!! And well done to Pixie chick for the awesome sunrise shots..

Kel - yeah DD is long too - the nurse measured her at 64cm today - I think she was a bit off - I'd put her at 62 cm cos I was up near her head and it wasn't quite pushed up against the ledge bit (if that makes sense) Even the doc said she was long and skinny (yup.. long like her dad... dunno where she gets the skinny from... LOL)

Ahh well.. DD is sleeping at the moment...yay.... hasn't screamed this morning yet (not from pain anyway!) and DS is behaving himself.... think he wants to watch "Cars" again....

Oh and I think he is going to be ready for TTing earlier than I would want him to be... he grabbed his butt and said "poo poo" today - so I checked his nappy - no poo poo - then 5 minutes later - was full of poo poo.. so I think he is recognising the sensation of wanting/needing to do a poo... awwwwwwwwwww no fair.. all those lovely nappies!!

    ETA - her updated details:-
    Weight: 5.18kg
    length: 62cm
    HC: 39cm

ETA#2: DS said "Michael" this morning (looking at a pic of Michael Jordan on the wall) - so at least he can say his middle name - still can't say Aricyn though.. lol

Thanks for the new thread, dachlostar.

Pixie/Bear - Beth is so cuteee. From the pictures I've seen of you both I'm thinking she's a mixture of both of you. What do you think? and OMG PIXIE! Great photos and what an awesome view you have! I'm so jealous. :P

Mel - I'm glad DD went alright with her needles. I hope the gaviscon works. Poor little chicken. YAY for Aricyn's TT signs. I think that's wonderful news. I was so glad to have DS1 TT and I'm so glad I don't have 2 sets of nappies to change these days.
I bet your new haircut looks fantastic too. My ratty mop needs a chop. It's like half way down my back.

    Hey and *waves* to everyone.
I'm a really slack with personals today. My mind seems to be all over the shop.

... and I think is my new fave emoticon.

I'm so fed up with DS1's attitude or whatever you may call it. I so didn't think he'd be like this just yet. He's being all "I know everything" and is trying to tell me how to do everything. When he says a word wrong, and I correct him, he'll turn around and fight back at me that his way was right. WTFFFFFFF.
It's so tiring. I really don't know what to do about it anymore.

Bear/Pix: Those photos are amazing! Beth is gorgeous!!

Kell: OMG, Keira must be tall! Hope she goes ok with her needles next week.

Mel: Hope you find care for M soon! Or just take more time off Woohoo on A saying his middle name! J couldn't say his name for a long time. Just get A to do poo's in the potty if he will and leave the wee's for the nappies.

SW: Have a lovely day shopping

Tenny: I know how you feel re DS1's attitude and how exhausting it is. If you find a solution let me know!

SW: Have a lovely day shopping
Shopping? Who can afford to go shopping when they've just been told that the house they're planning with an architect is gonna cost 1.25 million to build!?!? w00t! And that's considering we already own the land!

Only thing I'm shopping for this weekend is packing boxes, tape, plastic drop sheets, garden mulch and Grand Designs season 4 on DVD! And maybe some kitty litter We got all our groceries for the week yesterday at the markets.

OK - so that was with an expensive builder who basically wants to build the foyer out of marble and freaking gold - which SO isn't me!! Nevertheless, our house here in Canberra is now on the market, so we need to get it ready for the photographers and the first open day! This involves lots of packing, gardening and a bit of painting

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

OH - and Bear/Pixie - love the new Beth pics =) She's adorable!

Mel - keep sending me more pics of your two gorgeous monsters =)))

SW - did you get the one I sent of Mehkelti on her own? I've tried to send it to family and it wasn't going through.. not sure if its a problem my end or not??

    https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...7&ppuser=12244

This is the pic anyway for everyone else if they want to check it out!!!!

Sal - I hope she starts sleeping more for you!!!! Its difficult when they don't sleep as much as you would like them too!!!

Tenny - maybe he's doing it cos he's not the number 1 son anymore.. he has to share mummy's attention - so might be doing a bit of that for that reason? I dunno, its the only thing I can think of... I hope he improves anyway!!!! If it were me, i would just ignore his behaviour and not get into an argument.. lol.. but we all know that I'm a bad mother... lol

Sal: How are you going? Hope Maddi sleeps long for you soon, do you wrap her? I get longer day sleeps out of Ash from wrapping her now...just a thought, some babies just aren't sleepers.

SW: Oh I thought you were shopping with your niece but I read back and it was Tasia going shopping....must be some house you're building there! Can't wait to see pics when its built!

Tasia: Sounds like you had a nice time with your niece, how old is she? Most of my nieces are grown up or almost so they are a huge help when I go out with them.

Zee: The pics are great!! I must have missed something, what happened to Laila's eye? Thats good its getting better though

Mel: What a beautiful pic of Mehkelti!

Hi Everyone!!! Yes I know, I have been absolutely terrible at keeping up with the threads since Georgia was born. Especially considering that I was on the belly buddies thread practically everyday from as soon as I knew I was pregnant. I miss everyone but jumping on the computer just feels like the lowest priority at the moment. I'll just have to try a bit harder.

Anyway I was having a bit of a read and everyone seems to be going great guns. I love the latest photos being posted too. Everyone's bubs are just so lovely. aren't we lucky?!

Everything is going really well here still, DD is still a little one, but at least I am getting good mileage out of her clothes. she feeds really well and is getting a real attitude. she cries between bbs as I am feeding her, as if I might not try her on the second side. I keep saying to her, I just want her to give me a little burp before we switch sides, but she isn't having a bar of it. we play a lot during her awake periods until she gets yawny or grizzly and then it is straight to bed, and she has a good sleep before we repeat the cycle.

I don't know about everyone else, but even though I loved her from the start, I am really in love with her now. I could just eat her all up. Do you know what I mean? she just keeps getting better and better, and I just adore her more and more. she smiles so much (Mez, sorry you didn't get to see that last week) and talks and talks, so that I can't help thinking she is the smartest girl in the World... hahaha I am sure we are all thinking the same thing about our bubs. It makes me laugh to think that almost everyone feels the way I do about my DD but just with their own DD or DS.

Ok I better go. I'll do personals next time. hugs to all.

Hey Jess, good to hear you're doing great! I know that in love feeling! When Jayden was born, I used to stare at him all the time and think I was the luckiest person in the world to have this beautiful little baby, when he went into his room I went in every night when he was asleep and was just in awe of him and his development...even now (not every night but most) I still go in when he's asleep and I am still in awe of him. Its the same with Ashlea now....its just as exciting 2nd time round!

Jess - thats fantastic that everything is going well!!!! I've never been the type of person to go all gooshy and stuff - so I don't really experience the same type of feelings with my kidlets - but sometimes I do go in when they are sleeping and admit they are pretty cute!! LOL

Tan - yeah I was pretty happy with that shot!! We got some of her this morning FINALLY smiling - kept on missing it.. will have to upload them later on. OH, can you PM me your address - got Craig to put the meet up pics on cd last night for you.

Zee - good to see you mate - great pics!

Anastasia - I remember shopping at Highpoint... my exH used to work for Rebel Sport there.. he now works for Bunnings...

Well we had another good night last night.... She woke up at 3.30 and DH got up and put the dummy in her mouth and we all slept until 5.30 when DS woke up.. unfortunately we didn't get to bed till around 11ish (I was cleaning the study and DH was on the computer) so we didn't get a heap of sleep, but most of it was in a huge block so that makes a difference!!!!

I think either the chiro or gaviscon might be helping - she is still screaming but doesn't seem to last as long. Was so angry at my MIL yesterday - the first thing she said when she saw her "oh you've got a double chin..." like, WTF!??! You don't see my daughter for a couple of weeks and thats the first thing you say?!?! Plus, when DH told her about DS telling us he was going to poo.. she said "OH... then you should have put him on the potty shouldn't you"..

PFFFT... I hate her sometimes... never anything positive, just running me down...

Anyway.. thats my rant for the day!!! Need to go out and start pulling out weeds in the garden (not that you can call it a garden - more like a jungle..)

    Morning lovely mummy's & bubs,

Well it's another beautiful morning here in Melbourne, oh and we lost an hours sleep cause of daylight savings bugger! DD is sleeping at the moment, I'm so impressed with her we had a great night we feed her at 9pm and she didn't wake until 4:45am woohoo.. I couldn't believe how well she slept. I really hope it keeps on going.

Kell - Isabel has to get her own passport. Interview went well I'm hoping that we receive her passport by Thursday so that I can book the flights.

Mel - Oh your DD is just gorgeous love the pose. I can't wait to see more pics of them both. I can't believe your MIL's comment too all little bubs have double chins I know that little Isabel does. I hope she keeps us with her sleeping too for you hun.

Zee - love the photos hun looks like you guys had a great time out together and the girls are all just gorgeous.

Tannis - hun how are you doing?

Jess - I'm sure that I'll get to see little Georgia smiling and talking. I know what you mean about loving her more now, I could just eat Isabel too especially when she does something so cute.

Tasia - It's really nice that you had a great time shopping with your niece. How is little Jonathan going?

SW - Wow that's going to be an expensive house you're building can't wait to see what it looks like when it's all finished. Do you know how long it will take to build??

Skittlebub - Oh hun I really do hope that Maddi starts to sleep more for you, I know how hard it is, but Izzy is much better now so hopefully your DD will start to sleep during the night for you.

A BIG  to all I have missed I hope you all have a great Sunday!

    Morning ladies!

Hows everyone going with day light saving?? I cant believe its 12pm here already!
Miss Keira is starting become a little demander! If she is in her bouncer and cannot see you she will scry, scream, carry on.. the minute you walk over to her she lights up in a big smile! She loves attention. If you look at her and give her some attention, she will smile and goo and talk her head off! I can see shes going to be a show off child lol.
Oh and Jesse has a new love for guitars! Which i am very happy about lol. I didnt push it on him, he started it. It first started with the Wiggles and when "Play your guitar with Murray" was on he would get his wiggles guitar out and dance around and play it. Then theres another show on that they play guitars and its always "geta".. we were at the shops the other week, there was a shirt with a guitar on it.. "GETA!" so i bought it.. every time we see a guitar its "GETA!". Lucky for him i have 2 guitars in his cupboard that were mine.. might even get one out this arvo and see what he thinks.

Mez.. oh how exciting! Izzy flies free doesnt she since she's under 2?

Mel.. i hear ya re your MIL.. very rude! They always know better.. hmmm. And 2 FIRM SMACKS FOR YOU! You are NOT a bad mother!!!! Dont ever think that!!!
And anyone else that thinks they are a bad mother youll be getting 2 firm smacks too! Because its utter BS! You love your children and you are just trying to do whats best for them. They may scream and cry and carry on.. rebel even.. but thats their job.. theyre there to challenge us! But they love you more than anyone and anything in this world, and always will

Jessica.. good to hear from you and that everything is going so well. Yep know exactly what you mean! Its funny, when you have one already, before bubs is born you really doubt whether youll be able to love someone else as much. Then theyre here and you love them with all your heart.. and as time goes on it just grows and grows as it did for your first. Such a great feeling hey.

Tenny.. lol oh dear. I didnt think they thought like that until they were teenagers! Lets hope its just a phase hun, im sure it is. I guess the only thing you can do is just say ok Jayden and leave it at that. I know its hard when youre trying to teach them to speak right. But i guess he will be starting school soon and they will correct it all there. you are doing a wonderful job ok.

Tasia.. good to see you around hunny.

Ok better go get boy wonder his lunch!

Oh.. and i have to say GO MANLY!!

    Hey folks
Kel - I hear ya on the daylight saving thing - it's nearly 4 already! Where did today go?
Tan - thanks re: the photos. obviously we think she is pretty cute
Tenny - everyone seems to say she looks like the Bear .... Friday at mother's group was the first time someone actually said "wow you can tell she's her mother's daughter can't you!" I was chuffed!
JK - we feel the same about Beth... and the Bear is just as mushy as I am.... we're always calling each other to come and see the cute thing she is doing.
Zee & Belle great pics - looks like you had a great time!
Mel - Beth has a double chin too, she's had it since she was 3 weeks old. for a good night! It occurred to me the other day that I never actually try just putting the dummy in when she wakes up at night... so tried it last night .... she wasn't having a bar of it so we were up at 4.45 ... well 5.45 daylight saving time! one good thing about daylight saving, it made it seem like a more civilised hour than it was!
SW - about your house!!!!! Hope it doesn't end up costing that much!
skittle - hope you get some sleep soon hon
Well we are off to the IL's for dinner tonight, had my mother hanging around this morning but she's left now..... got to make lunch... although it's half way to dinner time! so catch up later all to all i've missed....
