Hi to everyone sorry havent been around, been feeding round the clock demand feeding and trying to sleep inbetween and had a friend visit yesterday which was good. Unfortunately one of my friends hubbys is really sick on life support (you may be seen the thread about Chrissy) so I also went shopping to get something for her kids to keep them busy and sent something to her), im so worried about her and her hubby I hope he pulls through.
Bear - thats wonderful news that Beth is now in with Pixie and out of special care!
Back later this morning when Im not 1/2 asleep girls.

Well hi all
MIA for abit here and im sorry. Little Liam hasnt been feeding very well. We are still expressing into bottle but I dont seem to have enough milk to feed full on with the breast so he is having 2-3 formular bottles and 3-4 Breast bottle in a 24hr day. He is also on thinkening stuff as he is chucking all the breast milk up. He has the worst wind now as well. He was so good with his burping but the thickening is making it hard for him to bring up wind. But guess what, Ive just fed him a formular bottle and after texting Kell and asking what wind stuff to get, (((infants friend))) he has had a good feed, burped heaps, little piggy and now is just laying here. He is so happy. THANKS KELL....lol.
So im hoping this is the end of his wind problem. Ill be weaning him of the rest of the breast milk in the next couple of weeks as Im going back to work 2 days a week in 2 weeks so dont want to have to be expressing at work. That will take me to 6 weeks which im happy with. Both Melissa and Callum were only 6 - 8 weeks on the booby so I think ive done ok.
Pixie and bear congrats on the birth of your little girl Beth. Glad all is ok. Photos are beautiful bear. Thanks for sharing them.

Missy - I hope little Liam's feeds get better for you both. Sounds like a few of us are having the same problems with feeding.. It makes me feed normal cause I thought it was just my little one giving me problems being a new mum and all.. Yes a lady at work knitted a couple of outfits for me, I bought the wool and she knitted them for me. I love it she looks lovely in that colour.

bear/pixie glad to hear beth is out of scn and doing well.
Feeding for me is still going well apart from he seems to have hurt one nipple and it kills when i put him on once he is going it is ok. He is still having infants friend before every feed and is still chucking after most feeds and often much later than straight after, suppose will ahve to wait and see if it is reflux or not.
This morning i bathed him and fed him and then a while later put him on play mat and he vomited and had it in hair and ear!! YUCKO poor baby!!
He still is not sleeping that well at night, is always awake from around midnight till 0103 ish and then will sleep for a bit then awake again.
Still sleepping on me in bed as will sleep short period is basinet or pram during day but not at night!!!! ahhhhhh hope we can get him to sleep there soon so i get a better sleep.

Tenny - great birth story babe.. you did so well!!!! And yes, nobody cuddles like mummy!!! (as I type with one hand cos bubs is asleep on my chest....)

Belle and Sal - yup same in this house. Actually between the two kids and the two dogs.. there isn't a lot of sleeping going on here!!
DD had her check up today. Hasn't gotten back to birth weight yet... get another weigh in next week. :(
Better go hang out my cloth nappies!!! Lot more on the line now with two in cloth!!!

Feeb.. both Keira and Jesse are chuckers too.. both also bring stuff up still well after their feed. Think its just part of the wind coming up, rather than reflux. Hopefully its the same with Jacob.
Mez.. yep Keira has bad nights too. Jesse was the king of it! Think its just part of them being a baby! Cheeky buggers!
Missy.. no worries hun, hope you both get better sleep with it. Im yet to use it with Keira.. have a bottle in the cupboard though. Wish i knew about it with Jesse.. he use to be terrible with Colic and wind. For the first 3 months i think there was only 1 or 2 nights a week we didnt have him screaming the house down all night.
Gotta put the boy in bed.. back soon for more..

Awwwwwwwwwwwww we happy little people tonight as I gave Liam a feed again at 5.30 and he burped great and looked around abit and changed him into his pj's,(didnt bath him tonight as He gets a bath almost every night and just couldnt be bothered as I have Mel and callum sick with colds and me alittle too) then into bed and he laid in bed for abit then went to sleep. Didnt hear boo out of him. Oh got to love the infant friend...YAY... :dance::clap:
Oh yes Ayapi i love the out fit. Ill have to take a photo of Liam with his on and show you. I just love him in it. Does yours have little long pants and beanie??? Its so cutttttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeee....
Yes I agree with kell feeb. I know Liam can still chuck just as im about to give him his next feed. I also think its a wind thing.

I've been lucky to have both babies that can bring wind up like champs just like their mumma!!
At the moment I'm having more issues with DS#1 then DS#2.
He's just being a little ratbag most of the time and it doesn't help that I'm already tired. :P
Although DS#1 is starting to want to get more involved with helping with DS#2.

I'd been hoping to have them home tomorrow, but it's looking like it might be Thursday as Beth appears to have found herself a sun bed to deal with her jaundice - Click for picture
She seems to have figured out attachment for BF a little too well, I picked her up to change her nappy this evening and she attached herself firmly to the side of my neck and started sucking away....I now have a very small hickey!
What is this infant friend that you are raving about?
Also - I've been meaning to buy a new chair for Pixie to use for feeding, any hints or tips as to what you look for in a good feeding chair?

Bear - oh she is sooo gorgeous.... DD had jaundice too, but we just put her in the sun in the hospital and that was good enough for her. Hope it all clears up soon and you can take her and the pixie home tomorrow!!! Infants Friend is a liquid remedy for wind and colic - helps them to bring it up and makes them more settled (ie as opposed to screaming after feeds)
Tenny - your pics are gorgeous. I hear you on the more trouble with the first born, DS is having some serious tanties lately!!!!! Driving me insane!!!!! :wall: Think the jealousy has started too cos this morning he was chucking a big one because his cup of milk wasn't heated up in the microwave, and the baby was drinking out of her cup which came out of the microwave (even though his HAD been heated up - just about 15 minutes prior.... grrr)
Missy- good luck out and about with both kids - more game than I am!!!!!
Is anyone else's belly still looking like they are 6 months pregnant?!? Mine is still really big and a bit solid to touch (except for the bottom bit, that floats in the breeze cos the skin is so loose....lol) I think it could just be cos I'm a fatty anyway....
Bad night in this house last night, dogs, DS and DD all going off at different intervals, plus an hour of solid screaming from DD.... argghhh.... too much... need COFFEE... DH has just gotten back from up the street to get us a nice breakfast - its our treat for not killing our children overnight.. pmsl...

Morning all
Well not going out today as I was up last night from 2am throwing up. awwww I havent throwen up like that is a long time. I have only just stopped about 2hrs ago. I had to tell DH that he had to stay home and look after the kids. Mel sick with a really bad cold, callum nose is running like a tap and Liam is starting to cough and sneeze alot. he also is blocked up. What is that stuff you ladies were talking about to clear their nose??

Im back to my normal figure, well just about. Have about 5 kg to go and some toning.
Well have to go and rest up. Just wanted to say hi and find out what that stuff is

Missy - I agree with your I think we have some very beautiful babies within this thread. Oh yes I highly recommend FESS little noses it's worked wonders for our little princess.
Mel - oh sweet I hope that you have a better day and night in your household. I too have pretty much gone back to my normal body shape just need to go walking to lose another 5kg and tone up and I'll be happy.
TheBear - Oh little Beth is such a cuite pie. Hopefully with her getting a little sun she and Pixie will be able to come home on Thursday for you. Oh and in regards to a chair I don't know, I'm pretty much just feeding in bed as it's easier for me as the cradle is in our room for the moment.

Hey all..
Well we had a terrible night in our house too. Keira was awake from 9pm until 3am this morning. I was in tears by the end of it. Just so tired and drained. Part of it she was crying, part just sitting there looking around. When she started to nod off and id put her in bed, she'd wake again. Just couldnt win. Then i went into DH in bed in tears and he came out, held her for 2 minutes and she fell asleep!!!!! Little *****! So i got 2 hours sleep after that then she woke at 5am for a bottle.. got her back to sleep within 45 minutes of that and was able to sleep until 9am (her next feed). Half her problem is, she has a feed, burps well.. then an hour or so later needs to be burped again. So shes waking for that then needing to be resettled. So am thinking of giving her a few drops of Infants Friend to see if that helps her bring up that extra wind after her feed and not having it sit in her belly until later. Hopefully that helps.
Jesse was good last night. Though yesterday noticed he has his first 2 year old molar come through! Explains all the tantrums and moodiness on his end! Least theres a reason behind it. Poor bugger.. wouldnt be fun.
Well now that DS is asleep, and DD is too.. im going to try and get a few hours catch up myself.

I am so excited last night Jacob went down in basinet in his room from 11pm till 3-30am and then 5am till 8am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo hoo lets hope he will keep this up!

Kell - Our little princess did that the other night, I was in tears and my DH picked her up and she fell asleep on his chest and he didn't move or put her in her cradle for 2 hours just to give me sleep time ;) he is such a darling..
Lotsa - congrats on the arrival of your princess Summer Rose.
Well from our list of babies looks like we have 10 princesses and 9 princes...

I didnt know this was here till I just read kellxx's post in the other thread LOL, I thought cause it was still going this wasnt here.
Kellxx- Pead said he has reflux when I took him to see her so there is this stuff im giving him before I boobie feed him.
Mary- I have lost all my weight aswell, just need abit of toning aswell but that can wait LOL..back into size 6's YAY no more 12-14's.
Missy- Aww you poor love, hope you all feel better ASAP.
Lucas still isnt sleeping all that good at night..seem to start round 12.30-1ish and goes on till 5ish now.. just wants to be held and when she does go to sleep and I put here down he screams so by 5ish im in tears etc. :wall:
Okie no more personals :doh: I can hear DS so I better go into him. Mum goes home this weekend so I will hopefully be in much more then I have been.
