We had our nurse out today too. Emily has put on over 200g so we are happy! We had some photos taken this morning as well, they really wore her out and now she seems overtired and is very unsettled.
It seems Ashlyn has her days and nights mixed up. It's almost impossible to get her to wake up during the day!! I just gave her a bath to try and wake her a bit, but she started nodding off while in there . Looks like I've got a bit of work to do.
First time i've been on bb for a while, I can't seem to shake the exhaustion.
BF has failed again, can't seem to arrange a latch & my supply is dropping each day... so I have to express 3 hourly & suppliment with formula for about 3 feeds a day she lost more than 10% at hopsital but at our MCHN she has just passed her birth weight & now weigh''s 8 pound
Captain, congrats on the arrival of Ashlyn, I wonder how the other ladies from our group are going must pop my head in.
Candy jay- we have bf issues too. Have you spoken to your gp about motillium? I am taking it and my supply is great now. i am expressing full time. We did have 1 full bf today and she lasted 3 hours before i fed her with a full ebm feed.
An ABA counsellor told me the first priority is to feed your baby it doesn't matter how you do it, which u are doing and she's gaining weight so your doing the right thing.
My peanut shell arrived today after only ordering it yesterday! I'm very happy with it. It was such a bargain. Its a really thin microfleece, very soft and comfy. Emily seems to love it!
Looking forwatd to seeing more of mine and kell's belly buddies in here soon.
