Hope we all had a great weekened. I didn't do much just stayed home really, as usual. But today i'm going with my sister to get PINK TICKETS YAAAAAAAAAYYY. Can't wait. My other sis her partner got her pink tickets for xmas. He's such a nice guy. They r going on the 9th August. I can't beileve she is doing 11 concert, wouldn't be suprised if she will be doing more, she's ****ing fabulos

Afternoon. I tried to post this morning but it wouldn't work, so here goes again..


HAPPY SIX MONTHS TO REAGHAN FOR YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!

Mel - Welcome back. Yeah, of course we missed you.

Kel - GO Keira with her sitting! YAY!!!!!!

Mez - Go Izzy with her sitting! YAY TOO !!!!!! We're doing bad to the usual good night sleeping. The day sleeps are still be fought, as per usual, but hey if he sleeps all night then I can look past the other stuff. Hehe.

Missy - Idk. I just hate Mangoes and their smell. YUCKKKKKK! Awh. Good luck with Liam and the vegies. Hayden's start with vegies has been quite good.

Tan - Those are nice looking cars! Have a great day with the dress shopping.

Pixie - I forgot to mention before about Beth's crawling type moves. That's so exciting!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!1

Tasia, Feeb, Belle, Zee, Chantel, Sweetpea, SW and anyone else I might have missed.

So we started potato the other night. Since the pureeing vegies didn't turn out well with Elijah, I thought I'd try another approach this time around...
I just got some potato, cut it into strips wide enough for him to hold, then baked them till they were cooked and soft. He loved them. He holds them himself. They're like floppy but he still gets it into his mouth. It worked great. I'm going to try pumpkin like this too. Fingers crossed that works too.
He's also not liking taking things from the spoon I'm not sure whether it's cause his gums might be hurting or what.. so we're trying things that he can hold on to and mostly eat all himself with little or no help from us. It's going okay so far.

Tried the farex again yesterday morning. I even mixed it with fruit. That's definately a no go. Hates it to pieces... so I'm going back to holding chunks of Apple or whatever fruit with him so he can chomp on it.

Not much else going on with us.

Well Reaghan has got up on all fours a few times today so that will be interesting to see when she gets the hang of it more. Brought a high chair thing that goes on a normal chair for when she starts solids. Have not done yet she does not show any interest of yet. she sits on my lap when i eat and she doesn't even grab for it. Think it might me awhile yet.

Ehh does anyone else have the problem of their child blowing raspberries whenever they have a mouth full of food?? Shes fine when eating the farex but come dinner she thinks its hilarious to blow raspberries every time i put something in her mouth.. resulting in both of us wearing it! Was funny and cute at first but ehh so annoying

Lol Kell. Yeah, Haydie has done it a few times. It was cute the first time and maybe the second but it does get annoying, hey.

Happy 5 months sweet Mehkelti

Well early morning here for us. 6.30 Liam decided to wake up. So we have put last load of washing on, dropped Callum to day care, Melissa to work, tidied the house, Liam in bed and now just getting dinner ready for the slow cooker. Its easier doing it in the slow cooker when its going to be so hot.

Nope kel sorry Liam isnt blowing bubbles when eating thank god...lol

Tenny I have to add apples all the time to his vegies. Im trying him on broccoli tonight. Taht will be interesting...lol. Im doing one veg at a time to see if he has any affects from them. One vegie for three days then move on.

Well woke up at 5.00am but didn't get out of bed till 6.30am. I'm so tired today. I think i will go see my il's at the factory then to my parents.

Missy- Yeah i'm so excited i can't wait to go. I have to wait 6 whole months, damn it.

Kel- Yeah Jonathan does it a few times, & yeah cute in the beginning but very annoying afterwards.

Kell - Umm yep Izzy is also blowing raspberries with her food, like you it's funny once or twice it gets annoying after that! Izzy thought it was hilarious

Tasia - Woohoo on the Pink tickets sweet when are you going?? Have fun at your IL's and parents house.

Missy - I too am giving Izzy veggies for 3 days and then move on to the next one. She loved pumpkin and broccoli today I'm getting ready some kumara (sweet potato) I'm sure she'll love it. Oh we have been up since 5:30am today

Tenny - If Hayden likes eating his veggies the way you've been doing it don't change it sweet. He is happy and eating them then I would continue. Isabel had a few mouth fulls of farex then I just started her on her veggies I wasn't too worried that she didn't have that first.

Well I went for my walk today about the Maribrynong River which was just lovely but it too me longer than it should cause my little MISS was naughty all she did was cry. I couldn't settle her. She is now sleeping so hopefully she'll wake in a better mood.

Morning...OOPS Arvo...

well i have just cleaned a big mess up. Isaac for some reason thought it would be a good idea to cover the lounge room in baby powder. Grrr silly bugger. i'll have to mop my floors today now. but at least it smells nice.

Tennykins- we have been on solids for a few weeks now. Caleb started at almost 5 months and sebi at 5 months. they are now just over 6 months. they drink 200ml x 4 a day and have 3 meals i have been giving them raffetys garden baby multigrain breakfast in the morning they get about 80g of fruit or veg pure for lunch and about 100g of veg for dinner. i have just started on more of a courser pure almost mash for dinner. sometimes its Jar and sometimes its home made or sometimes i mix both together. i make it all in advance and freeze it. i gave caleb a chunk of bananna and he hated it. hehe.
these boys love their food sooo much.
will your DS be having a 5th birthday party? Ikes 2nd birthday at the end of feb.

Kell- yay on jesse in the big bed. and love the pic. i forgot in the end to do ours. oh well still got a heap. i'll just crop and past them all together. hehe.
oh and the rasberries!! ike think its funny to get them both to blow them while they r eating. food goes everywere.

Oh i found isaac sitting on the edge of his cot the other day crying cause he was stuck. i went mad at him and we now have a video monitor in his room, so i can keep a closer eye on him. i don't want him in a big bed yet. he is too young and would just hurt himself. maybe when he is 2 1/2 . or 3. if i can keep him from climbing out.

Anastasia- WHF was your FIL thinking. next time blow your top. if a bottle of beer can affect an adult imagine what even a drop can do to a baby. My aunty tried to give isaac coke and i just firmly but nicley said " we don't want him having that, so please don't give it to him". she said " it wont hurt him bla bla bla" and all i said was "i don't care don't do it as its our choice" & walked away with isaac in tow. good luck. yay 4 pink tickets. i wish Jovi would come back here.

Mary- poor baby, she has a few years of teathing to go yet. Isaac always had some very clingy moments too. infact sometimes he still does.I so far have given my boys pumpkin, carrot, pea, corn and beans. i don't mix them tho. today 4 lunch they had pure peas and lumpy mash pumpkin. the pea helps to wash the lumps down. its boring but they like them. Good oh the walk, shame Isabel cried for you.

Pixie- hugs to you. i hope your feeling better soon.

We have the twins 6 month needles on thursday. we r week and a bit late since the clinic closed over xmas. than im off to toys r us to see if they have any deals on cots. they r getting too big for the cradles. toys r us have great deals on cots you usually get a free change table which i'll flog off on ebay.

ok this is pritty long and i have been writing it in bits in between feeding , nappies ,cleaning etc. hope it works. mite copy it just in case.

Hey all..

Well now its my turn to be unwell.
Seems like (well i think) im getting bad side effects from this medication. Ive had diarrhea all day from 6.30am this morning. Not fun going to the loo every half hour! Literally! Seems to be one major side effect. Think ive lost a few kilos. Havent been able to get incontact with my doctor, despite numerous phone calls to here.. so im stopping these tablets. Have only had 2 lots of 1/4 tablet. I just dont want to be going through this all tomorrow too because i think what ive got is way too much of a side effect.

Pixie.. hun i hope everythings ok. We're here for you if you ever need to chat ok. Make sure you look after yourself

Kel you poor thing. Thats a crappy (no pun intended!) side effect. I've lived like that - I have IBS - so was going to the toilet up to 12 times a day - on a GOOD day. Ruled my life - thats why I have anxiety issues now. Stupid IBS. Anyhoo - yes, get off your medication - surely there is another one you can take?

Pixie - you know i'm always here for you. Enjoyed our chat today - didn't know you sounded so young on the phone hehe *mwah*

Not much happening here. DH trying to get DS to go to sleep (he had a nap today so will probably take AGES to go down)
