    Hey everyone.
I was going to post this afternoon, but as soon as I sit down and get all sorted someone needs sometimes.
Plus I've been in a mood.

Pixie - I hope you're ok. I'm here for you aswell. Even if you feel like yelling at someone, I don't mind. Fire away.

Kell - I hope you're feeling better soon and also I hope you finally got in contact with your doctor.

Kristy - That's great with the boys and how they're going with their food. Banana wasn't much of a hit here either. Lol. I hope you had a great day and found the cot(s) you wanted. Nah, we're not really having a party for him. Probably just the family thing on the weekend after it. I make a fancy cake for him, and stuff. It'll be a quiet one. Are you going to have a party for Ike's 2nd birthday?
Good luck with Issac and him climbing out of his cot.

Mez - I had high hopes that he'd like the farex again cause now it's like a wasted box. I'm such a cheap skate. Lol.

Mel, Tasia, Missy, Tan, SW, Feeb, Sweetpea, Belle, Zee, Chantel and anyone I might have missed.

Tonight we tried pumpkin. I just did the same thing as the potatoes and baked strip chunks. He enjoyed them. While I was doing them, Elijah came up and had one and wanted me to make some for him too. I was so shocked (and secretly cheering inside) since he rarely eats pumpkin ever, even when he was little. He's more of a fruit eater, sometime salad gets a look in but mostly fruit.
I'm not sure if he wanted it cause I was making it for Haydie or not, but he enjoyed the lot I made for him. Ate the lot.

I hope you've all had a great day and have a better tomorrow.
    Hopefully it cools down too.
The nights are really nice here. They've been cooling right down, it's greattttt.

am mostly fine now. Guess I was always mostly fine, really!! But yes, spider bite.

I was building a cat enclosure in the back yard over chrissy/new year, and was bitten on my little finger about a week ago (the same day I think as when I posted complaining about all the spiders around here - maybe a few days prior to that). It immediately turned bright red and went GIGANTIC. Went to the docs, they told me it was fine and just exaggerated due to the location of the bite (little finger, not much space in there so any bites look worse than they are, yadda yadda yadda). Really painful - and of course Alyssa keeps grabbing at it and has an uncanny ability to always manage to catch the only sore part of my body...

Two days later I'm at the chemist buying some other random shtuff and she asks me about my finger, squeezes it, I scream, she says it's infected and I need to see a doc (it wasn't really any different to when I did see a doc!!). It's a weekend by then, so I call my SIL who is a GP, she comes over and looks, says it is infected and prescribes antibiotics. Oh yeah - it was tingling a bit and actually hurting down my arm at this stage...

SO I'm taking these antibiotics for two days waiting for a change, and it DID get a little smaller... My arm stopped hurting and the pain was just in my hand. Then yesterday it starts turning green. Yes, green. Not slightly green - grass green (well, the grass green we all knew and loved prior to the drought!!). Started tingling all through my hand and hurting again most of the way to my elbow. Was really quite disturbing. Call the docs and try get an appointment, nothing until Thursday. Call the SIL, she comes over with her trusty doctors bag, pulls out a scalpel and starts slashing away at my finger to drain it. Got lots of blood, no pus. Slashed some more, more blood and no pus. She says "it's in pretty deep - can you go another cut?". I tell her if she has to, she has to, and maybe don't ask me for the next one - just do it before I have a chance to say no

SO I get this really deep cut put into my poor little finger, and gunk starts ooooozing out all over the place. Was really gross. Hurt too. A LOT.

SIL convinced me to take some codeine and get an early night. Think the codeine wasn't so good on Alyssa because she had the most restless night EVER - up every two hours screaming for a feed. Perhaps the codeine just had a negative effect on my supply - who knows... I spent the night in her room with her sharing the bed - which I never do unless I know I'm awake!! Just seemed easier than picking her up out of her cot with my finger in the state it was in - damned near had me screaming every time it touched anything. BUT by morning it felt sooo much better. Replaced the dressing on it this morning and the colour is almost back to normal - just a bit redder than usual. The swelling has subsided immensely. Still have a couple of days of antibiotics to take, so hopefully they will clear it up fully.

Have spent a fortune now on pesticides. Surprised humans can live in this place now, let alone spiders.

So yeah - been away a while feeling sore and sorry for myself, avoiding using my hands, and generally just hanging out with the girl... Hope everyone is either doing well or on the improve. Been thinking of you all!

    waves to all

    Good morning everyone

Went to my IL's last night, it was my fil nameday. Before that when i was on my way there, i closed my house door & my house key snapped in half leaving the other bit of the key in the keyhole. So i was like ****. I rang my dad & told him wat happened & it was difficult trying to get the key out of the keyhole. So he had to take the whole thing apart, eventually my dad took the key out of the keyhole. So i'm going this morning to go get another key cut. Luckly my sister had the spare key which i gave her, i just felt bad cause she had to leave work early to give me the spare key.
While i was at my il's place afterwards i stayed there for 4 hours & my sister rang me & she said she wanted to come back to my place cause she was working the next day & needs to sleep. I told her i couldn't leave only because i'm the dil & it will be rude if i leave, but my sis said " i have to go i'm working 2m" so i told my mil that i had to go & she was fine with it, but her expression wasn't ok the way she looked at me, i don't give a ****. I told my dad & he's like " Bad luck if ur mil cracked she'll get over it" lol, My dad doesn't like my il's because they r too pushy.

SW- Oh sweety, i hope ur finger is much better today, Oh i hate spiders they r my worst fear & snakes. Wat kind of spider was it? U might have mentioned it. But i didn't see.

    Morning all,

SW - Oh you poor thing, sounds like you've had a bad time with this spider bite. Good to hear that it's getting better though. I hate all spiders and creepy crawlies... Woohoo on Alyssa starting to crawl that is wonderful

Tasia - Oh bugger about your house key sweet don't you hate when that happens. At least you had a spare key. How is little Jonathan doing? Is he rolling or sitting yet for you?

Feeb - good to hear from you sweet! Woohoo on Jacob's stats that is wonderful he is doing really well. HAPPY 6 MONTHS JACOB

Pixie - Oh I hope Beth slept for you sweet, I know how you feel little Izzy is being difficult lately too but I'm just putting it down to her teething and wanting lots of attention. Yesterday for her afternoon sleep she cried for a whole hour before falling asleep. Drove me NUTS

Well my exercise and eating healthy is going well considering it's my first week. I've done all my floor workout this morning just waiting on my little princess to wake for our daily walk. Oh I went to see my new little cousin last night he is so cute. I love the feel of a newborns skin it's so squishy I can't believe that Isabel was that small..

Well better go and have some breaky before I have to go for my walk.

    Hi girls

How are you all? I havent been in for ages, and I feel bad im sorry girls I dont really get much time to come online and when I do im so tired I dont post I just read.

Tara only rolls over when she feels like it not very often, and have only started her on farex this week, guess she is behind everyone. When you guys started the veges did you mush them up?

Kell - Sorry to hear you are feeling sick hon, I hope your Doc called you back re the meds, I agree to stop taking the meds hon, it doesnt sound right. Maybe its not the right drug for you? maybe the GP can give you a similar drug but not with the same ingredient? the one I take has the same ingredient as Lexapro (I take Ciprimil) but Zoloft is a different ingredient and I think Avanza is too. Im here if you want to chat. xxx

Feeb! - Happy 6 months to Jacob! where has the time gone!!!

SW - oh honey I hope you get better soon, I hope the finger is ok - I understand your fears, I have them too, im thinking of you. xxx

Hello to everyone else! just a short visit as I have to get Julia ready to go to Nana's as I have a migrane so mum offered to mind her overnight tonight. Will try and come back later for more personals. Thinking of you all.

    morning.

Thought i would quickly come say hi while Ds1 is watching thomas on TV. and the Twins are both in thir rockers watching it too.

not much happening here, i went to the Dr yesterday. Been very moody, cranky, snappy and oh so tyred, which is strange since most nights i go to bed at 9.30-10pm and sleep till 6-6.30am so that should be plenty. she did a blood test to check hormones , Iron and so on. so i guess i'll just have to wait and see what happens. I also had to see her for Isaac, he has been crying when he wees, so i had to get a urine sample from my not yet toilet trained 22 month old. it was so funny trying to get it. i was surprised it only took about 20 mins. we got him to drink 2 full glasses of water (after bribing him with M&M's) and had him play naked in the bathroom while we slowly ran a trickle of a bath. after about 15-20 mins he did a wee i quickly and quietly cought it and than he got to have the bath. will drop it off today to be tested.

Anastasia- god its annoying when things like that happen. Esp with kids. it makes you so stressed at the time. i haven't had a key break but i have locked them inside the house a few times. and yay 4 the treadmil. mine is getting very dusty

Tennykins- Yeh we will be having a small party for isaac. Its going to ba a wiggles theme. there won't be too many people tho. just Ikes friends and cousins, and granparents even tho i would perfer not to invite any IL's at all. I Just cant stand them. we will just keep it simple and let the kids play and eat junk food.
and yay the pumpkin all my boys love it too. tho ike only will eat it mashed with potato.

Feeb- good to see you again.

Pixie- sorry beth wont sleep for you. does she sleep at night or is she awake then too? you can get a special sleepy time formula from the chemist that helps at night. isaac became a rotton sleeper at one stage and for us the only thing that would work was i would put him in bed pat till he was relaxed and then leave. when he cried i would always waite for 5 mins before i went back in but i never picked him up just held his hand and patted him till he relaxed again. it took about 2 weeks but het got the idea that i wasn' going to nurse him so i think he just gave up, these days he is a perfect sleeper. If his crying was upsetting me i used to go outside My DH was stronger and handled it better than me. hope she sleeps better soon.

sw-hope you finger doesn't hurt too much today.

mez- Go the exerciseI sooooo need to make time to do some. I have a treadmil as its too danderous to walk in my area its rural main roads and i don't fancy walking with big trucks zooming past. i really should use it. i was weighed yesterday at the DR and im now 76kg been years since i have been anywere near that weight. and congratulations to your cousin. you should tell her about BB...

Kell- how u feelin today? if you need anything let me know. i can always drop the twins at mums and take isaac and jesse to the park or something if you need a break. hope your better.

well better go going to get the twins needles and look at cots.

Hi to everyone have a good day.

    Morning all..

Well yucky few days for me. Dh ended up taking yesterday off work to look after the kids. I called my doctor again yesterday and the receptionist assured me she would call me back. I stopped taking my medication. Nothing from the doctor. Took some Imodium about 2pm and last time i had the runs was 3pm yesterday so may have worked. Then 8pm they called me and said the doctor said to keep taking the medication as thats not what is causing the diarrhea. So hmm. Im in 2 minds on what to do.. start taking it again or stop. So found a number to call the nurses on call (is in VIC but they still took my call lol). The lady i spoke to was so nice and wonderful. She went through everything and basically said if my doctors said to take it then yeh i prob should try again. So i did last night. So far today ive been fine. So who knows maybe i did eat something bad or got a bug or something (if it was a bug oh im praying Jesse doesnt get it!!). Just still a little dehydrated now, lack of energy and well.. a few kilos lighter i think. Im yet to weigh myself, but lets just say i can see the bones in my hands and arms and i have a flat stomach! woah. Havent had one of those since before Jesse! lol.

sw.. ouchy.. hope it heals soon for you.

Tasia.. oh what fun. Mehh yeh your MIL will live. At least you were there at all!

    HAPPY 6 MONTHS JACOB!!
Holey moley its been 1/2 a year already!!!?!??

Pixie.. hope Beth slept ok for you last night.

Mez.. oh look at you arent you good with all your work outs! well done hun! Oh how was the newborn? Tiny i bet! Its nuts to see newborns after you have a baby hey.. they always look so small.

Tenny.. thats great Elijah has taken to the vegies too! Im so hoping Jesse is the same ones Keira is eating solid stuff. He'll eat pumpkin and potato thats it.

Mel.. thanks hun. How is A going without his day sleep?

Jesses going great in his big bed. So happy. Have not had any problems at all with him getting up at night. Only thing we've had to do now though is DH park his car out in the drive way rather than in the garage as he leaves for work at 5.30am and if Jesse hears him (which he can if the cars in the garage) he wants to get up and wave bye bye. But when he wakes, which is usually around 6.30am hes just come and jumped into be with me until Keira wakes.

Keira's going great on her solids. Still just having the 2 meals so far.. farex for breakfast and veges at night. Shes just has garden veges and last night started with sweet potato and woah did she loooooooveee that! Once shes had a wide variety of vegies then will start her on a 3rd meal of fruit or custard.

Ok think i better eat something. Hope everyone else is well.

Belle.. thanks hun. Doctor said its not the tablets causing the diarrhea and to keep taking them. So who knows, may have had a stomach bug or something. Started taking them again last night so we'll see what happens. No youre not behind.. some havent started solids yet.. i think everyones just doing it at their own pace and when bubs is ready. Keira is having jar stuff so far. But yeh i would prob puree it to start with. Keira doesnt mind her farex a bit thicker but i think thats because she was already use to the thick formula. But its all trial and error to see what suits bubs.

Kristy.. oow ouchy. I hope Isaac is ok. Thanks hun. Yeh im feeling a bit better today.. still not 100% but think i need to restock up my fluids and food. Grahame finishes at 2.30pm today so should be fine. Keiras asleep at and Jess is watching Thomas. Theyre pretty good kids so its not too bad. Hope she can work out whats wrong. Maybe it is the pill? did she say anything about that?

    Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

    Happy 5 months Jacob!!!!!!!!!

SW - OMG. How scary about your finger, especially it turning green. I probably would have been crying or something if my finger went green. I'm glad it's better and your SIL helped.

Kristy - WOW. Good work with Issac and getting a urine sample. I hope your results come back fast and give you some answers, and Issac's too.

Belle - Hey! Great to see you again. Here, we only get rolling over when he feels like it too. Although lately it's been more often.
Haydie doesn't really like mash, puree, or the farex anymore ( ) so we're giving him potato and pumpkin strip chunk things that I've baked until they're soft & cooked. He then basically feeds himself. It's going ok this way for us.

Kell - I'm glad your'e feeling better and I hope you don't get sick from taking the tablets again. I'm going to start sweet potato probably on the weekend too. I'm hoping he loves it tooooooooooo!

Tasia - Don't worry about you MIL. Sucks about your key. I'd be all panic and mayham if I broke a key like that.

Mez - Good work with the exercise and stuff. Sounds like you're going great. I started to do some, but I haven't been in the right frame of mind this week so it's a bit half-ar$ed. Hopefully I'll be all into it next week.

We're doing ok with the sitting here. He's sitting up longer and longer by himself until he gets so excited and his arms wave that much it makes him fall, which is usually when Elijah comes over to play with him. lol.

    xx
