    Hi all.

WOW it?s been so long since I have posted. Been pretty busy just looking after the boys, and I?m slowly cleaning out my house, I have accumulated so much crap in the past 10 years.
I am actually writing this in word and will paste it because I know I won?t finish it right now.
I haven?t been on BB at all lately and hardly even on FB either. I guess ATM I have just been in one of those couldn?t be stuffed kinda moods. Just kinda doing my own thing.

    Personals first:

Mez- I am so sorry for your loss. And I truly hope this sad time passes fast. I?ll be thinking of you, your DH and Izzy tomorrow.

Bell: Bummer with the chicken pox! Hope the girls mend quickly. I have never had them so I?m sure it will be a blast when it?s our turn.

Arimeh: Sebi isn?t much of a sleeper either if we spend the day shopping he?ll sleep more but if we are at home he will only have one long nap at about 10.30am. Caleb on the other hand sleeps all day and all night, I honestly think the lazy bugger sleeps more than he plays.

Pixie: glad you had a great holiday will try to read all about it soon. I wouldn?t mind a NZ trip one day myself. But only when the kids are older. But john and I are going to Hervey bay / Fraser Island in November without the kids and then hopefully up to coffs in early next year as a family. And too bad with AF it was bound to happen. lol. Its such a PITA.

Tenny: I bet you were so proud of DS playing soccer! I cant waite till my boys are old enough for sports. What a little champ you have.

Missy: ok I?m gunna ask ?what the hell is twilight? I think I?m lost in my own world, hehe sometimes I feel I have lost touch with the rest of the planet. Hehe, that?s what happens when you don?t have time to watch TV or read papers etc.

I truly hope everyone else is doing well sorry I haven?t posted to everyone but its late and I hope to put this in before I turn into a pumpkin.

    As for us;

Well it?s all good here as usual. No big problems, had to see a clinic nurse today to have Caleb assessed he is a little slow for his age, it wasn?t too bad but he didn?t do as well as I expected. He only failed in Communication, fine & grose motor skills and personal and social development so he is being referred to a specialist for those things, he is classed as hi risk in having problems because he was a prem and also because he needed oxygen for a day or so after birth. I?m not worried at all I think he is just lazy and the clinic nurse said the same thing but it?s important to get him in now while he is young. Isaac has also been referred to a speech therapist; he talks and is getting better every day but still very hard to understand and also makes up his own words, just the other day he was trying to say chocolate but was saying mamoo?????, they also want to check his hearing but not till we see the speech therapist first.
Its funny my boys are so different to each other. Caleb (aka budda) weighs 11.6kg and sebi (aka monkey) is only 9.6kg. Caleb is quiet and shy and sebi is loud and a bit wild. I often think sebi and Isaac should be the twins as they are sooooo much the same. I really am quite proud of them they all have such strong personalities wether loud and playful or quiet and cuddly they are just wonderful.
I think all three are having growth spurts ATM. They seem to be eating me out of house and home. Sebi and leb are just awesome eaters (sometimes sebi gets fussy but he is still doing so well) we have 3 formula bottles a day. Breakfast is wheetbix with cow milk, lunch is fruit and usually a sandwich or if shopping I?ll give a jar of something just so its easier. And dinner is whatever we are having (as long as they can eat it) and I top them up with a jar so I know they have eaten enough and have a full belly for bed. They don?t walk and only kinda stand when holding onto them but our little monkey sebi is so dam fast on his knees. Caleb has only just started crawling its kinda like the hare and the turtle around here. lol. Both have 2 bottom teeth. Sebi says mum, dad and Isaac and Caleb sometimes says dad but does giggles a lot. I can?t believe I?m already planning their 1st birthday party, just wait till you see the cake we are making. Its gunna be a masterpiece. Hopefully it won?t be too cold.

Well really that?s all that?s happening.

Please take care all and I?m sure I?ll be back again soon.

ps: how strange when i pasted this from word into BB all the ' are now ?, wonder why?

So I don't know whether today is my lucky day or what..
Haydie woke up at like 6:30am and since it was cold I just got him and put him into bed with us. I was still half asleep still, of course. So we both sleep till like 8:30am (Woohoo! DS1 even came and joined us until he got sick of it and went to watch cartoons). I go to change his nappy.. but no nappy on. I'm like "What theeeeee...?" I feel him, feel the bed, feel me... Nothing is wet! The nappy was in his cot, full but sitting in his cot.
I'm thinking today is my lucky day!!

Just imagine if he had done a poo and take his nappy off. It would have been everywhere. On him, me, our beds, maybe DP too.
    HAHAHAHAHA

    I just wanted to share.

    Happy 9 months precious Mehkelti!!

Happy 9 and 10 months to all these babies - can't believe they're all getting so old so fast!!

Tenny - good luck with the hockey!! Sounds fun. I sighed a HUGE sigh of relief about your lucky nappy-less morning in bed!! Can just imagine how icky that could have been

Kellxx - we never even got as far as the mushy foods. Alyssa always refused to eat it. She went straight to finger foods =\ She refuses to eat anything on a spoon, however she WILL eat if it's given to her from chopsticks. Otherwise she'll only eat what she can hold.

Belle - hope you're feeling much better by now!! Loving the pics of your beautiful girls in FB - keep em coming.

Pix - hope you feel better soon!! Hugs your way, babe... And hugs for the gorgeous Miss Beth and her gazillion toothypegs

Mel - love ya and MWAH!!!!!

All going well here... Alyssa has been a bit sick for a few days, but mostly ok. Projectile vomiting in the nights and a temp between 38 and 39, but happy as Larry during the days. Had my SIL look over her and she said it's just something viral, and she was fine. Just manage it with Panadol or Nurofen. Panadol evokes an instant projectile vomit reaction from her, so nurofen it is!

Was just reading the news website and saw an article on a baby who died because the parents didn't get effective treatment for eczema =(((( I HATE that Alyssa has this awful condition. We manage hers really well, and for the most part her skin is perfect - just small breakouts every now and again - but it still sucks that it is something that unmanaged can really be THAT BAD. It sucks that my little girl has a lifetime of skin management to prevent that type of itching, sores and scabbing.

On a happier note, Kellxx and Kristy inspired me to attempt to make Alyssa's first birthday cake myself... I purchased a cake decorating book, some appropriate supplies, and made this trial cake for DHs birthday. For Alyssa's birthday, I'm planning on doing three large A B C blocks in white with bright coloured edging, lettering and pictures on the sides, stacked up and sitting on top of a large chocolate cake coated in a thick ganache. The block cakes will be an Autumnal cake (maple syrup flavoured cake - a Nigella recipe) for the A, Banana cake for the B and a Coconut cake for the C. Two of the blocks will be on the chocolate cake base with the third block sitting on top with an Eeyore toy on top of that surrounded by teeny icing roses that I have been making. I'm also playing around with some different graphics and things to try to make a funky little birthday invitation for her party.

It's sad that our babies are getting so old... I don't want to have to go back to work now and leave her. Can't believe that I was thinking of only taking 6 weeks off because I enjoy my job so much! I don't enjoy it nearly as much as I enjoy my baby - I feel all emotional when I think of spending those days away from her (and it's only 2 days a week).

Oh! And we finally got building approval for the house!! The tenants have moved out of the existing house and we have organised for demolishers to come in and clear the block. We expect to start building in 2.5 - 3 months =)))) We have a new house building blog here.

And that's just about it for us
