Hi all,
Hope you are all well.
Taz ; Hope the moving goes well for you. Good idea to start packing some stuff now. Glad to hear that things are going well with Jess.
Sweetpea: sounds like your on a winner with that hammock.
Naomi: i hope you have managed to catch up on some sleep.
well all is going well here today, Lachlan is fast asleep and Hamish is at Kindy and Emma at school, so my house is nice and quiet. Its given me chance to try and catch up on some housework and gardening. Im in a mad fit to tidy as we are having Lachlans christening next weekend and then coming back here afterwards.
I think i have given birth to a giant. LOL Its hard to imagine that Lochie was in 5 o,s when he was born and now he is in 00's in growsuits etc as they arent long enough. It seems he is keen to follow in his big brothers footsteps. Hamish grew at a rate of knots as well.
On a good note Lochie has for the last three nights sleep through until 6am, so im rapt. Im keeping everything crossed that this is his new routine.
We are busily planning for our family holiday, Dh has decided that we will be going tothe Gold Coast in Oct. He wants to drive there, im going along but im not so sure, 3 days in the car with 3 kids is a great idea, but oh well it will be an adventure. He is blissfully unaware of the kids behaviour etc in the car or at home lately. He has been working 12 hour days since Lochie was 3 weeks old. Ah reality bites.............LOL
Well take care all

Hi girls, it's been a while. My ISP hasn't let me log on to BB in ages.
Annabelle and I are finally getting to know each other. She has been smiling and laughing and has rolled over from front to back 5 times! She had her needles the other day and was a very sleepy bub for abour 24 hrs, but is now back to her old trick of only sleeping one sleep cycle in the day before waking up.
Her weight gain was great but has slowed down lots over the last couple of weeks, so I'm keeping an eye on that. She's solely bf so hopefully it's enough for her. She doesn't seem hungry though and has been feeding every 3 hrs or so during the day and a bit longer than that at night. Fingers crossed it's just a lull and she'll pick up again soon.
I hope everyone's well. Sounds like you've all been pretty busy.

Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing well and that bubs are settling for you all.
Reaghan has been going great guns since buying the hammock, I have had it for a week now and last night she slept for 11 hours straight and the night before only had a dream feed in 10 hrs. and she even self settled in the pram today when out shopping.
Have not had here weighed properly scince 7 weeks but stood on scales with her the otherday and she was around 5.5 kilos and 58cm long.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
-
Hi all,
Had another great night with Reaghan she went do sleep at 1845 woke at 0500 for a feed and back to sleep till 0820 and now back in bed again. Thanks to the hammock.
Hi Ltjules, I am in Canberra to and the weather has been great. Hope it stays this way for awhile.
Hope everyone else has a good weekend.

I have found a few others from canberra have a look in the nsw/act members thread we going to plan a meet up.

Hi Ladies,
It is I, Ms Sleep Deprived.... Oh hold on, most of us now fall into that category.
I have been working what can only be described as crazy hours. Mostly night shift and I am totally over it. Feels like I am out of routine even though Bella is managing to hold on to hers.
Poor little popit had her needles on Wednesday night. I was a tad concerned that she had a cold at the time - but the Doc went ahead and gave them anyway.... Sure enough the cold got worse and Darren had to take her to the Doc's again this morning to get antibiotics... Not happy. Poor little Bella has been crying that sad baby cry and coughing horribly. I just want her better. Scary when babies get sick, because they can lose weight quickly...Luckily she has not lost any weight as yet as I am force feeding her even though she is not interested because she is so congested.
She is now 59cms long and 5.5kgs. Bella smiles non stop and grins whenever the camera comes out. Such a poser....just like her big sister.
Things on the home front are, well... we are off to counselling in the next week. I feel totally lost in the entire fiasco. Thankfully my partner wants to resolve it and took it into his own hands and organised counselling, so at least I don't feel that it is a futile process.
Oh and I have decided to make Bella a "And then there was Bella" book. Officeworks prints photo books, so I have decided to print some excerpts from this blog that I wrote along side photos from the past year and the first 3 months of her life. I am then going to have it placed in safe keeping so that she receives it when she chooses to have a child of her own, or at the age of 35....whichever comes first..... If she is pregnant at 16 I will be mortified! So I hope that it will gather dust before she lays her tiny baby fingers on it..
-
Hi all,
Hope you are all doing well and all bubs are good.
On my front Lachlan is now sleeping through the night. He goes down at 9pm and wakes at 6am, YIppee.
Its amazing how many people have commented on how placid he is, and how calm i seem this time around. LOL if they could see me now, i havent had a shower and i have stuff everywhere, Ah well.
We have Lachlans christening this weekend so im busy cooking away, and also trying to organise everything for our drive to Qld.

hi ladies
how is everyone? I feel a bit out of place in the 16th-31st July group, so I'm still popping my head in here when I can.
I can't believe Annabelle will be 2 months old tomorrow. She's developing quite the personality and was very charming yesterday when some friends of mine from work came to visit. She seemed to want to be awake this morning, so I thought she might enjoy a ride in the car. Boy was I wrong. She got so hysterical that she was in a sweat by the time we got home. She promptly fell asleep the minute we got in the door.
All in all I think I'm finally getting the hang of motherhood. In all honestly I was petrified for the first 4 weeks. I take my hat off to those of you who have other kids as well. Is it true that you get more relaxed after the first?
Take care ladies and I hope all your bubs are doing well.
Pam
-
Hi Pam,
I must admit with my first i was a nervous wreck, with my second i was still a little bit stressed. I seem to be in much better control with Lachlan. We still have times were i dont know whats wrong with him and i get upset.
I do feel much more comfortable with him though, so for me it took number 3 for me to be able to really relax and enjoy well so far anyway.
-
Hi all,
Hope everyones weekends were good.
Pam, I was like you with my first, better with number 2 (sort of had to as when she was 2 weeks old got jaundince and things went down from there for awhile so was at the pead/hospital for weekly checks, she fine now) and this one is great not as stressed over things but still have moments of I can't cope or what do you want feelings which is normal. My mum always said if at sometime in your kids life you don't feel like throtling them then you must have a full time nanny.
Tan32, Well done on Lachlan sleeping threw the night. Reaghan has started that in the last week to but she doing marathon sleeps of 5:30-6 into bed and then no feed till around 5 and then back to sleep till 7is.
Naomi08, Can't believe you are working, I took 12 months of for this one. I take my hat for to you for juggling work and a 2 month old.
Ltjules, How did you go with the nappy thing over night. Reaghan mangages to wear one nappy from when she goes to sleep around 6pm till 7ish the next morning. We should have a meet up soon.
To anyone I have missed hope everyone is good.
Cheers

Hi everyone
Well, today is the first time I've been able to get near a computer in a few days - I've been busy working while Bondy has been at home playing Mr Mum (and I am happy to report that he has now changed 2 crappy nappies - much to his displeasure!!!)
Jess has been fantastic over the last couple of days which is great considering she was Satan's spawn last week... she wouldn't sleep during the day, and would get over tired and then SUPER cranky! Grrr...was driving me insane!
Bondy has now officially finished with the army so I'm very happy (and so is he). He has this week off and then starts his new job on Monday. We're heading down south on Thursday morning to have a look at some rentals etc. Hopefully we can find something we like that is going to be available when we go down in around 7 weeks.
I've since found out that I don't have to pack anything except our clothes, and personal papers. The removalists come in on the 10th November, pack everything and then come back on the 11th and take everything away. We apparently get everything delivered around 17th.... but that's fine with me coz the removalists then come and UNPACK everything at the other end! WOO HOO!!!!! As a final thing through the army, we get put up in accommodation up here while the house is being packed up and they also pay for the 2 days child care for Jess as well as animal boarding so it's all good - no stress involved at all!!!
That's about it, going to head off now and spend some time with Jess & Bondy while they're lounging on the couch.
Hope you're all going well.
xoxo

Hi ladies,
I see some familiar names from the pregnancy thread, but I haven't posted on here in a while so thought I would pop in and say hi.
Firstly congratulations on all the little bubs, I am trying to catch up on who had what and when.
Owen John was born on July 15th, 6 days after his due date. Labour was about 6 hours, mostly done at home. I had an episiotomy after 1 and a half hours of pushing and had no pain relief.
We are having a bit of a rough time at the moment and Owen has just been diagnosed with silent reflux, we have Zantac for him so hopefully he starts to improve soon.
Hope you are all well

hi girls
I just wanted to know what everyone's bubs are doing re bed time and sleep. I think Belle is doing pretty good at night, and slowly getting the hang of day sleeps.
We try and have her in bed by 8:30-9pm after a shower or bath. Should I be putting her down earlier? Sometimes she'll wake up about 1:30am, other times she can go till 3 or 4. Most nights it's only one feeding but last night she fed at 2 and was then awake again at 4. Not sure if she was hungry or not. She's rarely obviously ravenous so it's hard to tell.
Re. day sleeps she's normally ready for a nap about 1-1.5 hrs after she gets up, but sometimes (most times) naps only last for 1 sleep cycle (~45 mins) and I battle, often unsuccessfully, to get her back to sleep. In total she may have between 3 and 5 hrs of naps during the day in 3 or 4 naps, all of which require some degree of a fight.
It'll be good to know how this compares to what you're all doing.

Hi all,
I hope that everyones weeks have been going ok. Reaghan is doing really well, she has finnaly got into a bit of a routine. She is a wonder sleeper now that she is in the hammock and will even go to sleep in the pram on own now. Her routine is awak at about 6:30am feed, play, top up about 1.5-2hr later and back to sleep. wake about 2-3 hrs later. Feed play feed sleep again for about 2hrs as have to pick up other kids. Feed play nap for about 45 min, Feed again. She is in bed by about 6pm each night and sleeps threw till the morn with an occasianol feed around 4-5 but only the odd night now. I'm not sure how I managed this after she was a shocker to start with. She has about 5-6 feed in the day from 630am-530pm.
Cheers.
-
wow, that's great! Do you feed her to sleep?
hmm....I wonder if I'm putting Annabelle to bed too late. Her best (aka longest) sleep is usually the first for the night. I worry that if I put her to bed any earlier she will be more unsettled in the later part of the night (when I want to be asleep).
-
Some times she feeds to sleep but mostly now she goes to bed awake (tired state). She only started to be like this when i brought the Amby baby hammock. Before that she was a horror. Would only sleep in boucer being bounced, in swing or in bed with me. She did use to go to bed later but was hard to get to bed and woke often and day sleeps where a shocker. I do believe in good sleep breads more good sleep, both my older kids had early bed times first was at 830 as a baby and second was 730. Reaghan just wont stay up later than about 6pm or she is screaming.
So maybe try putting her to bed earlier and see what happens, if Reaghan goes to bed at 6 and has only had 4-5 feeds in a day I dream fed her just before I go to bed to make sure she is getting enouhg food.
-
late to sleep
Hi All
Etta like Belle has her long sleep first up at night. We put her down between 9 and 10 (depending on when her feed is). She usually stays down for 6 hours - until 3 to 4 and then feeds again at 6 - 7 and I keep her sleepy and she goes down for another 3 hours. So she can be sleeping (including feeds) from 9 until 9. The odd time she'll awake around 12 - 1 for a feed but that is rare.
She's only breastfed and we are feeding every 3 hours. I am looking forward to her dropping the 3-4am feed but guessing that may be a while away yet.
During the day she catnaps with sleeps being a max of an hour long. She's up for about 1.5hours after a feed and I bathe her at 8.30pm ish to stop her sleeping after the 7pm feed - she's then easier to put down for her night sleep. She will sneak in a quick 20mins sometimes before her bath despite my efforts to keep her awake.
Good to be reading everyone's posts ... Etta is growing like a weed. She's 6.2kgs and 68cms already. Loving the gurgles and smiles too!
:)

Hi all,
I had another good night with Reaghan, she went down at 6pm woke at 530 for a feed and then back to sleep till 820 for a feed and play then feed again at 1010 and is now asleep again. Hoping since the morning sleep is later bye an hour that I might be able to pust this afternoons sleep out to and then the night one to 630 0r 7 will see how things go. Still havn't figured our how I got such a super night sleeper for my third. My second one was still feeding during the night at 15 months but we were cosleeping alot to.
-
hi girls
Ells, Etta sounds a lot like Annabelle, and we too are breastfeeding so don't know if we will be able to drop the night feeds anytime soon. It's frustrating because she doesn't even seem that hungry in the night and will often only feed on one side and fall asleep again. She is also quite unsettled after that 3am feed, making lots of noise and squirming around a lot. I think because she doesn't get any wind up.
I wish she could get past one sleep cycle during the day though. She does occasionally, but there is no pattern that I can detect (except when she had her needles and then she had 3 x 2hr sleeps in the day!). I know she's still tired but she won't go back to sleep.
Sweatpea, are you bf or formula? I always make up a bottle of formula at night in the hope of topping Belle up, but she's normally either too tired or not interested.
Hope you all have a good weekend.
Pam
-
Hi Pam.
I am BF only not bottle or anything else. I'm not sure how I got such a good sleeper, she feeds in the day about 5 times. In the morning it is every 2 hours she has one 3 hr sleep in the day and 2-3 1hr sleeps to. All I can put it down to is her hammock because before this she was feeding every 2-3hrs morning and night.
-
hey
It's great that the hammock has made such a difference for you! Hopefully by the time she grows out of it, the sleep habits will be well engrained. Until then, make the most of it I say! DH is currently battling with Belle to get her to manage a second sleep cycle. She napped on her nan's shoulder this arvo and the bassinette just doesn't cut it anymore LOL.
Pam
-
thats why i brought the hammock, she would only sleep in my bed, bouncer or swing. Got it of ebay for $117.

Morning everyone
It's been a while since I got on here, so thought I'd pop in and say hi!
All is going great at the moment. Jess & I got back last night from a long weekend with Bondy down in Yeppoon (central Qld!) before we dropped him off at the mine yesterday afternoon. Jess & I did the big drive back by ourselves and got home around 11 last night.
Jess was an absolute ANGEL in the big long (8 hours plus stops) drive down and back again. She slept for almost all of the trip. We stopped around 4 times on the way there & back to feed her, stretch our legs and refresh. She fed well on the journey and then would go straight back to sleep after! Yippee.
While we were away, she slept from 9.30pm - 6.30am with no waking up during the night - Gotta be happy with that!
So, we have found a rental in Emu Park that we move into on the 13th November. It's a new house which will be a treat for us considering we're own a "do up" house in Townsville. It's a 12 month lease and we'll see after that what we want to do. It's only 3 1/2 hours drive to the mine where Bondy is now working so it will be easier for him to get home after his week on!!!
I think that's about it for me now - I'm going to go put our stuff away while Jess is sleeping (something I probably should still be doing!!!).
Hope you're all going well. Talk again soon
Taz
P.S Can't believe Jess is almost 3 months old - where has that time gone??????
-
Hi all,
Hope you are all keeping well and babies are doing well.
Yesterday we had Lachlan christened. It was such a lovely day and we couldnt have asked for better weather, especially since today it is freezing and has rained all day.
Lachlan loved all the attention at the church and got spoilt rotten, downside is everyone cuddled him all day so he slept all day except for an hour when at church and for photos.
So fo course today he has not slept and is expecting me to cuddle him all day, so its been a bit trying.
We are now getting him used to his cot during the day.
Taz; I hope Lachlan travels as well as Jess, we are driving from Adelaide to the Gold coast in just over 2 weeks. I am a bit anxious about the trip.
-
Hi all,
I hope everyone is well and bubs are doing well to.
Reaghan has become a great sleeper not sure how I managed to get a bub that sleeps like her. She sleeps between 10-12hr a night no waking for feeds, last night was longer she was tired at 430 so put her to bed thinking she would wake for a feed but no she didn't wake till 530 this morning then feed and when back to sleep till about 630 when she just layed next to me playing, I got up at 7am changed her feed her and she was tired again so back to bed at 730-840 took the ther kids to school, feed again at 940 and back in bed at 1030 still asleep now.
In the last 24 hours she has had about 18-19 hrs sleep.
Going to get her weighed in the next few days. On the feeding front she is going great guns, she now feed both sides each feed so I think this is one of the reasons she is sleeping through for us. Still in 000 clothes but some starting to get small like the bonds jumpsuits.
Hope to hear form you all soon.
Cheers
-
Hi all,
i took Lachlan to the chemist this morning for a weigh in.
Fully clothed Lachlan now weighs 7.2kgs and is 60.5 cms long, he is average size for a 6 month old.
I have a boofa baby.
He is growing at a rate of knots although i must admit Hamish did this as well.
Lachlan still likes a feed every 3 to 4 hours during the day and can still take up to an hour to feed depending on his mood. No wonder he is so big.
At the moment he is laying on the loor under his play gym, he is giggling away and trying so hard to talk.
Hope all are well.
-
Hi all,
Hope everyones week has been good so far.
Reaghan is still having champion sleeps.
I have joined a gym today start monday time to try and shed the baby weight and some more. I have 10 kilos of baby weight to loose plus another 15 intotal to get to where I will be happy. My minnie goal is to break the 90kilo barrier by end of October and to get to 80 by xmas at moment I am 95 kilos.
Going to get Reaghan weighed next week as she will be 12 weeks tommorrow and will be interesting to see how much she has put on since 8 weeks.
Ltjules, Reaghan is in 00 in bonds to and 000 in the rest though have just washed all my 00 so they are ready when I need them.
-
hi guys
jackson is doing so well. hes growing like a weed and is almost in 00 clothing! I too have washed it all and transferred it into his draws so they are ready to go. Hes already in 00 wondersuits and has been since about 8 weeks...
Cant believe he is almost 3 months old!time has flown by thats for sure.
Quick question - has anyone seen any sight of teeth yet? Jackson is super grizzly and sleepy and the only thing that stops the grizzles is when I rub my finger on his gums.
Any tips would be fab.
hope all of teh lil tackers are good! and the parents too of course!
case
-
Case - Bella has had two bottom teeth visable since 6wks..... They have not come through the gum, but they are sitting just below the surface. Luckily they do not seem to bother her and her gums are not inflamed. If in doubt, maybe try Jackson on some bonjella... Alternately a cold face washer can help. Wet one and stick it in the fridge then rub that on his gums. Teeth generally come up and subside over and over again before erupting... Can be painful for bub and mum - because generally they want mum and they want to grizzle!
Bella is sleeping through. She started on Sunday last week when she slept from 9pm-5am solid. Since then we have not had a single night where she has woken. Last night she was in bed from 5pm....!!!!! I did dream feed her at 11pm, and she did wake at 5am - but it was still a very long solid sleep! Meanwhile I have to sleep on a towel now as my boobie juice is overflowing and I get to sleep in 2 wet spots thanks to her not needing my night supply!
Anyway - off to the airport to drop off my mum after a week long visit. Not wanting to let her go yet!
-
Hi all,
Hope your weekends are going ok.
After 3 weeks of Reaghan sleeping from 6pm-630ish, the last two night she has woken up twice in that time for a feed, one around 230am and then 430am too, hoping it is just a growth spurt and she goes back to sleeping threw soon.
Other than that she is doing realy well, have had to put her in some 00 now to, in bonds and some of her short jumpsuits, the tshirt type ones.
-
Hi all,
Hope everyone is having a good week.
Reaghan is just about back to sleeping well again, I think she is teething to. And on top of it I have got my period back, was hoping it would stay away for atleast 6 months but no even though fully bf. I think this has also contributed to Reaghan not sleeping etc.
-
its been awhile.. but hi everybody!!! :)
Im feeling a bit run off my feet.. enjoying tia on her kinder holidays (meaning i dont have to walk (in total 4hrs, total dist 10km) to get her to kinder twice a week. But the normal house cleaning stuff never seems to stop.. and the rain is feeding the weeds like crazy! not to mention our cat/kitten decided to run away a week ago, and so we have all been depressed, stressed and missing her. Also whenever i come near a computer Alyssa wakes up! no kidding!!!
Alyssa only sleeps well during the night after her initial Boitch session of 7pm-9pm (depending time of previous feed) where she is tired to sleep but doesnt want too and screams the house down & nothing makes her happy. And by sleeps well i mean she wakes every 3.5hrs for a feed, but goes back down to sleep like a angel! IF ONLY she did that during the day, im lucky to get 2hrs total sleep time for during the day.. unless we go out in her pram (which we do alot of and i seem to be getting to know every k-mart staffer) but if we spend all day out then nothing at home gets done.. *sigh*
anyways rant over..
Alyssa had her shots a week late, she didnt like it one bit.. but she screamed less than tia did afterwards!
I got a baby carrier and i hate it, lol! I should have figured it wouldnt be accomadating for my size 18 waist & hips. Feel like i wasted money there as ive tried to use it while putting the washing out and the dishes but its the oddest thing doing everything so far in front of yourself.. (perhaps if i had no boobs it would be better, ROFL!!!)
Im bout due another period, that sucks.. ive never gotten the no-period thing due to full BF and yet i can count the times on 1 hand when Alyssa has slept more than 4hrs! Alyssa is definately more cranky on the days coming up to and during.. *sigh* so thats bout 10days total and my sister is coming to visit/stay for the long weekend coming up..
Poor alyssa still has to grunt when pooing, poor thing! (altho the grunting is very successful) i dont remember Tia ever grunting to poo..
hope everyone enjoys the long weekend if they have it in their state!
-
Hi all,
How are things going? I met up with Ltjules today and another bb memeber was nice to put faces to names.
Ltjules, sammy is so cute. Canberra is such a small place hey.
I got Reaghan weighed today she is 6kilo exactly and 59.5cm long. So going really well. Her sleep is starting to settle back down again.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
-
hello
Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum, I will quickly catch you up. I wish I had found you earlier!
Aisha was born on the 9th of July, 3940grams and 53cm long. We had a challenging labour - 2 day pre-labour and 24 hour labour resulting in a forceps delivery. Aisha wasn't positioned well, somewhere between posterior and sideways. It took a few weeks for me to recover physically and emotionally but all is good now.
We are demand breastfeeding and I haven't had any problems with other than one incident of mastitis which I got onto quickly so it didn't become too awful.
The past couple of weeks have seen the night feeds slow down a bit - now usually only 1 feed between 12 & 6am at around 4am. I feel so much better. I can hold a coversation now!
Aisha is booked in for her 3 month MCHN weigh etc next week. Really looking forward to seeing how she's doing.
I hope you are all having a good day.
-
welcome Leeal and congratulations on the arrival of Aisha.
Well ladies Lachlan is still growing at a rate of knots, we just cant keep up. If he didnt have such a baby face you would think he was much older.
He is sleeping all night for us and is still quite a placid bub. He hates sleeping during the day though, sometmes he only gets in a 20 min snooze all day, so by 6pm he is grumpy.
-
Hi All,
Has been at least a week since I have been on BB.... I can remember when I would not go an hour without surfing this site!
Welcome Leeal! Congrats for finding us... we are normally a much more active group - but our babies have changed our frequency it seems.
Jules - how did Ikea go? I was there on Saturday as a spur of the moment adventure and only realised as I left that it must have a black hole in it somewhere, because 3 hrs of my life was missing.
Well I have bitten the proverbial bullet this week and signed up to the biggest loser website in an attempt to move some of this excess weight that I am carrying around.
Not too happy that it has come to this, but realised as soon as I logged on that my love of Dare Iced Coffee has been the culprit....with a massive 24% of my daily calorie count in just one small bottle of the stuff. F*&^ing crazy hey?!
So Darren and I are in the process of learning to eat healthy and I have a personal training session on Wednesday to get me lard @r$e moving.
Pray for me ladies - because I am not sure how I will survive the coming 12 weeks!
Having said that, Porsha is on school holidays - and driving me up the wall. Boredom is the end of the world for a 6 year old.
Bella is growing and sleeping for most of the night.
And Darren took me to Harvey Norman today and twisted my arm into an LCD TV. This means he is definately not getting a big b'day present as he is riding a new motor bike and will now have game central at home, with the x-box 360, the Wii and the LCD to keep him amused. Argh.....now I know why I have to work!
Hope that everyone is well. Look forward to news sometime this month! Taz - I hope that the move goes really well and that you enjoyed having Bondy home!
-
Hi Ladies,
Today i am at the end of my teether.
The kids are home with school holidays and they havent been to bad, but all they want to do is eat. Emma went for a visit to her Dads on the weekend and there was a major arguement between his partner and mother which Emma was a part of, so now she is in my pocket. As soon as we leave the house she grabs hold of me and doesnt let go.
Poor Lachlan has a cough and a bit of a funny nose, he has woken at around 1am the last few nights coughing his little heart out. Its a bit of a shock getting up to him as he has been sleeping through.
Tomorrow we set of for our adventure, we are driving from Adelaide to the Gold Coast with a 9 yr old, 4 yr old and 3 month old. My Dh has no idea what its like in the car with all the kids, he hardly ever has to go anywhere with the 3 of them. Should be fun. We are hoping to set off at 2am tomorrow morning, well i guess at least i have a good chance I will be up anyway..
Take care all and hopefully i can get online when we make our arrival
Tania

Morning ladies
Well, it's been a while now since I last got on here - things have gotten a bit hectic, but all good!
We move in around 5 weeks - sooo excited! Problem is though that there is so much that I would LOVE to pack up, but can't as it won't be covered by the removalists' insurance if I do. Instead, I just walk around the house mentally packing up things that I won't need between now and then!!!! :)
Bondy was up last week on his week off from the mine. He seems to enjoy it which is great - he's driing the big trucks! Having him home ffor 6 days straight was bliss - though Jess & I are doing alright when he's gone too.
Jess is now 3 months old and going great! She's full of smiles and almost laughing. She loves her baths (so many splashes) and sleeps through the night. We feed her the last bottle around 9pm (180ml) and then put her down to sleep (found that when she's on her tummy she sleeps HEAPS better) and then wakes around 6.30am. We then get her and bring her into bed with us where she will sleep or another hour or so .... happy with that!!!
So, this week I'm home alone with Jess, and wouldn't you know it - she gets sick!!! On Monday when I picked her up from kindy she had a bit of a rash. I took her to the doctor & got told she had Hand Foot & Mouth disease (anyone else heard of it? I sure hadn't!!!) and we are confined to the house for 3 - 5 days until the rash clears up (not contagios for adults & no side effects). I then get up this morning & Jess has a whole new rash & spots so I rang kindy to let them know & I got informed that chicken pox has gone through the nursery lately - kids that Jess has had contact with.
Great - so off to the doctor again today!!!!
That's about it my end.
Hope you're all going well with your beautiful families.
Taz xoxo
P.S Has anyone from our "old" crew heard from Jessie???
