lol @ Brooke's comment about your chatting Kate. My little sister was a late talker too, apparently she didn't need to talk as her 4 older siblings were doing it all for her. I wouldn't worry at all Kate. Al isn't saying terribly much either as yet. Certainly lots of babble though.

Maya is advanced! Fancy saying 'agina' ! pmsl...not usually something said during the course of my day too often. I love the photos of her on your webpage, and the knicker photo in your ticker is sooo cute. She's a little love. Maybe the bacteria they are sawbbing for is the streptococcal bacteria. The say it is found in the back of about 20% of healthy baby's noses or throats. Usually it isn't a prob, but it can cause middle ear infections if it moves into the ear, or like in the case of Al, he ended up with it in his lungs where it can get quite nasty. They are quite a virulent bacteria, so maybe that's why they are saying she would need to be on a special penicillin if she had this infection, rather than a normal antibiotic. I hope you get the proper doctor next time and that he/she gives you the answers you need.

Bel - glad to hear the acupuncture is working well. Al loves those cars you pull back and let go of too. Great Coby's teeth have come through. Al has the same ones coming, one of the 2 at the back is through the other is still trying and one of the front bottom ones is finally making an appearance. So we're not far behind you.

Hi to everyone else. I've got a Danish exam tomorrow. Its a state level one, which will give me an official govt recognition of my level of Danish - which is apparently at high school level. Since it looks like we're not coming to Australia in Jan, I have enrolled into the university level exam, which is held in May next year. I will be able to do the three month course jan-march before having the baby, so it should keep my Danish up and keep me busy and my mind on other things in those last months of pregnancy.
On the house-front. We have just began a new wave of applications for various places, so we're hopeful something will show up this round. fingers crossed:eek:
